Main Trio

    Joe

Joseph "Joe" Arthur

Voiced by: Mark Rendall
Debut: "The Not-So-Jolly Roger"
An up-and-coming magician and the present-day owner of The Book, Joe is the unofficial leader of the Time Warp Trio. While his penchant for carrying The Book around with him and experimenting with it often results in many of their adventures, his talent for magical tricks also helps them out of many tough situations. Joe is at one point awarded the title of Time Page (which Jodie says she hasn't since she was five, despite not receiving The Book herself until her tenth birthday, though possibly she had other means of time travel) and is said to eventually become a Warp Wizard. According to Freddi and Jodie, Joe will fight his uncle, Mad Jack, in a great battle that will determine the fate of time itself. He lives in Brooklyn with his archeologist father, his mother, and his little sister Anna.
  • A Birthday, Not a Break: For his tenth birthday, he receives the book. This would mark the start of the many adventures they are forced on.
  • Future Badass: He will eventually fight his uncle Jack in a battle the will determine the fate of time and space. When this battle will take place is never stated.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Sam and Fred.
  • The Leader: Of the titular team.
  • Ordinary High-School Student: Or elementary school student. The books have labeled Joe as an "ordinary kid". Turns out he may not be as ordinary as he thinks.
  • Powers in the First Episode: Receives the book in the first episode, on his tenth birthday.
  • Skintone Sclerae: He, Fred, Jodie, and Freddi are the only members in both trios who have this but they get normal eyes when they get excited.
  • Straight Man and Wise Guy: The Straight Man to Sam's Wise Guy.
  • Team Dad: Serves as a buffer between Fred and Sam and their clashing personalities.
  • Two First Names: His surname is "Arthur", which can also be a given name.

    Sam

Samuel "Sam" Kikin

Voiced by: Darren Frost
Debut: "The Not-So-Jolly Roger"
A friend of Joe and Fred who contributes his intelligence and historical knowledge to the group's problems. He wears thick glasses (he is self-conscious about being a nerd) and is lactose intolerant. Sam is also very wary of time travel, convinced their doom is imminent every time they open The Book. An amateur inventor, he is told by Freddi that he will invent something very important in the future (though it is not revealed what).

    Fred

Fredrick "Fred" Brown

Voiced by: Scott McCord
Debut: "The Not-So-Jolly Roger"
A friend of Joe and Sam who is a sports fan and known for being headstrong, sometimes to the point of idiocy. Fred is known for being the one of the group's most interested in using The Book for material gains, whether hunting for treasure or patenting future technology (although in 'Dude, Where's my Karma?' he decides to use the book in order to save Joe). He has a bullying older brother named Mike.

  • Book Dumb: The dullest of the boys but is competent enough to get them out of trouble (though he very often gets them into it)
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Sam and Joe
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: For all his teasing and greed, he really does care about Joe and Sam and would do anything to help them
  • The Lancer: He's Joe's second-in-command sidekick of the trio.
  • Not Me This Time: After the book sends them to Antartica, Joe and Sam blame him despite the fact he hadn't typed anything. Turns out it was Mad Jack who sent them there.

The Girls

Jodienote  Arthur

Voiced by: Sarah Gadon (episodes 2-14), Tajja Isen (episode 20-26)

Joe's great granddaughter from 2105 and a master of The Book. She's known for being bossy and complaining, and has a fashion sense. She's also a third-level warper.
  • The Ace: She's even more experienced with the book compared to Joe and is revealed to be a higher rank compared to him.
    Samantha

Samantha Kikin
