     Champion University Faculty
  • Captain Ersatz: Of the X-Men. Specifically:
    • Silverbeard is Professor X as a wizard.
    • Mab is Emma Frost.
    • Titania is Jean Grey with mystical powers.
    • Deathmask is Deadpool's personality with Wolverine's backstory.
    • Cross Eyes is Cyclops.
    • Cross Bones is Nightcrawler.
    • Cherub is Angel.
    • Fraulein Frogette is Squirrel Girl.
    • Smoke Puff is Shadowcat.

     Herald of Death
  • '90s Anti-Hero: Joseph (Herald) can be considered to be this. Starting from the name (Herald of Death), his outfit, his preference for firearms, the 'enacting justice' by killing criminals thing, mental instability... Ultimately, however, he's not. Mostly because of the lack of a ridiculously large weapon, and because he doesn't kill civilians. And lastly, he lacks the ridiculous proportions common to such heroes.
  • Abusive Parents: His aunt's abuse left Joseph scarred up to this very day.
  • Anti-Hero: Dangerously close to Type V, but essentially he is Type IV.
  • Byronic Hero: While he does fit into certain criteria (dark, flawed, willing to kill, having internal conflicts), Herald is more of a subversion than anything else. He jokes around even in the face of death, doesn't think that he's righteous and, when outside of his Herald identity, is mostly nice to people.
  • The Cowl: Prefers darkness and shadow over day and light. Fear is also his main tactic.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Besides his abusive aunt, Herald was forced to commit murder when he was 16. This... left him damaged, to say the least.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Maybe insane, but not evil.
  • Determinator: Nothing will stop him from killing 'villains'. If there is a wound, he'll just continue fighting, cauterizing his wounds.
  • Heal It With Fire: He doesn't hesitate to cauterize his wounds, as mentioned above.
  • Murder Is the Best Solution: Thinks like this with criminals and villains.
  • Murder Makes You Crazy: Joseph turned into a murderous maniac partly because of murders he was forced to commit.
  • Playing with Fire: He has a certain amount of control over flames, which enables him to turn them into bullets. Nor can the Herald be hurt by fire, since he absorbs it.
  • Revenge: Against the Slaver for forcing him to kill his friends.
  • Secret Identity: He has two of them. One is 'Robin Robinson', his civilian identity. Another is 'Herald of Death', vigilante maniac. All of them hide his true identity: Joseph Stark. But none of them are masks. They're all aspects of him in one way.
  • Trauma Button: Being forced to kill an animal super. Especially if they are corrupted with no will of their own.
  • Vigilante Man: The Herald of Death is the dark example of this. Or at least, not the most stable example.
  • Walking Armory: He can summon any weapon at any time.

     Mindseye

Villains

     The Belladonnas

     Kosh

  • Beware the Silly Ones: Kosh can be silly and jolly, but when he wants to break someone...
  • Chaotic Evil: He doesn't care who he destroys and how he destroys.
  • The Corrupter: If he so inclines, he can make anything filled with rage towards reality itself.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Might seem polite, but he is the Sin Prince of Envious Hate...
  • Then Let Me Be Evil: After Kosh was denied redemption, he decided to fulfill his purpose as a Sin Prince: make everything a living hell.
  • Omnicidal Maniac: Has a wish to destroy the reality itself, but not without making it suffer first.

     Roken, Parasite Emperor

  • Evil Counterpart: To Rine. Roken, unlike Rine, was specifically designed to be a Multiversal Conqueror. Also, he controls Parasites, which are more unstable and violent versions of Rine Copies.

     Val'ark, the Fallen Emperor

     Warlock, the Shadow's Blade

  • Affably Evil: Sebastian, pre-coma, was a downplayed example of a Harmless Villain who used to be a normal Joe, and was nice and helpful in general. He was also the servant of an Eldritch Abomination, and could hurl fireballs. Post-transformation, while he's still rather friendly, he's stopped being so harmless.
  • Came Back Strong: During a dramatic battle, the defeat of a powerful enemy knocked both Sebastian and Mindseye into a coma. While Mindseye is presumably still in hers, Sebastian died and was dumped into Easton Harbor. While drifting in what could only be described as Limbo, he made a pact with The Shadow. After rising from the harbor, he became a powerful melee fighter with a range of different abilities...
    • Came Back Wrong: ...but at a price. Now he doesn’t serve the Conqueror anymore, and is a revenant. His personality and ideals have also been affected, and not in a good way.
  • Casting a Shadow: At the moment, Sebastian’s powerset revolves around both Playing with Fire and this trope. The fire that he conjures is black and shadowy, and he turn into a shadow, traveling from a patch of darkness to another in the blink of an eye. In addition, instead of hurling fireballs, he instead conjures weapons of shadow and flame. His last ability revolves around turning to a shadowy wraith, which is his super form.
  • Revenant Zombie: After his untimely coma and subsequent death, Sebastian has become one. His heart doesn’t beat, his blood doesn’t flow, and he doesn’t need to breathe, sleep, or eat. In addition, he’s rather resistant to damage, since normally lethal things can’t kill him through blood-loss or such.
  • Playing with Fire: Sebastian’’s defining ability is to conjure fire. At first, the flames that he conjured were green, and his powers revolved around hurling them, using them to teleport or conjure barriers, and conjuring a mini-tornado. Once he swapped pacts, his power-set became a ‘’lot’’ more evil. For more information on that, see Casting a Shadow.
