Jirard
Jirard "Dragonrider" Khalil/Beardman/The Completionist/Shirraco, the Laser Clown/The Comportionist/King Baldman
- 100% Completion: Jirard seems to be obsessed with this with every single game he plays. Even if it's not even a game, like Netflix.
- Demonic Possession: In "Megaman X3", it is revealed that he has been possessed by a demon since E3 2014, prompting the events of the show's 100th episode.
- Determinator: ESPECIALLY in the Super Meat Boy episode. He completes the game with 18,404 deaths.
- The Luck-Based Mission in "Sneak King". While streaming it, someone in the chat calculated his chances of success - 0.00045673333333 repeating. And he still managed to beat it.
- Dark Souls. Level 428. 124 hours of gameplay. That poor soul.
- His playthroughs of Hyrule Warriors (249 hours) and Skyrim (over 500 hours). And he did those episodes back to back.
- Then his episode on Gears of War shows just how much he dedicates towards his gaming abilities-he gets the "Seriously?" achievement, with 11,331 multiplayer kills to boot.
- The Eeyore: During "Yoshi's Island", where he becomes depressed due to Catherine's artificiality, but he is soon cheered up by Yoshi's Island.
- Face–Heel Turn: In "Megaman X3", he violently turns on Greg and traps him inside the real Jirard's soul.
- Heroic BSoD: In "Megaman X4", the Season 1 finale. He goes into a completely comatose state, and it takes Greg sucking at Megaman X4 to break him out of it.
- I Have Many Names: Just look at the header!
- Important Haircut: His head gets shaved in between Season 1 and 2. In addition, in "God of War", he shaves part of his beard upon opening Pandora's Box.
- Meaningful Rename: In "Red Dead Redemption, when he adopts the name "The Comportionist" due to his Sanity Slippage. Jirard himself views it as him being "de-throned" as the Completionist. It doesn't last long.
- Again in "The Force Unleashed", when he replaces "Beardman" with "King Baldman" for the first four episodes of Season 2.
- Sanity Slippage: At the end of "Red Dead Redemption" and throughout "Megaman X4", he slowly goes insane when he learns that Greg completed a game 100%, and renames himself the Comportionist.
- And in "Breaking Bad", when he is left alone when Greg is away at his marriage.
Greg
Greg Wilmot/The Mediocre-ist/The Completionist
But Beardman!
Greg, later dubbed The Mediocre-ist after Jirard's "death" in "Super Meat Boy", provides comic relief for the reviews. He is extremely annoying to the rest of the cast and is shown to be very, very bad at video games. He has since left the group as of February 25th, 2015.- Canon Discontinuity: His entire involvement with the show, essentially. See Un-person below.
- Catchphrase: But Beardman!
- Cloud Cuckoolander
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: In the Red Dead Redemption episode, he actually manages to complete the game 100%, which no-one expected. This drives Jirard to complete insanity.
- Foil : He constantly has been stated to be terrible at video games, not even able to beat video games that were made for children, at least according to the Mediocre-ist intro, where he pulls out a Fisher-Price game. Averted in "Red Dead Redemption", where he 100% completes the game, which is so shocking, it drives Jirard to complete insanity, prompting his Comportionist phase.
- Happily Married: He gets married during the second season, leaving Jirard alone with a brand new game: Netflix.
- I Just Want to Have Friends: When everyone makes fun of him in "Luigi's Mansion":Greg (singing): All by myself! Don't wanna be... All by myself!
- Large Ham: Frequently.
- Mr. Fanservice: In his shirtless scene in "Pokemon".
- Plucky Comic Relief
- Un-person: In a way. After Greg's departure, Jirard has stated that they will not be using or referencing any jokes or gags from when Greg was still around.
- Taken even further as of September 1st 2017, where all 120 videos featuring him were removed from YouTube following a legal threat from Greg himself. Jirard will be remaking these videos from the ground up with entirely new scripts, essentially rendering Greg's involvement with the show Canon Discontinuity.
Alex
Alex Faciane/The Proof-ist
- Ascended Extra: From a behind-the-scenes extra to a guest member of the show, to eventually a Third Ranger, and secondary host of Super Beard Bros.
- Crazy Jealous Guy: In "New Super Mario Bros U", he gets jealous of not hanging out with Jirard and Alex, despite seeing them earlier that day.
- Sixth Ranger: Alex originally was unknown on the show until they had him in discussions on their live web chat discussions. Then he helped Jirard with the original Pokémon Red and Blue games by playing Pokémon Yellow and then in "Megaman X4", he knows how to reboot Jirard after his mind breaks.
Old Man Snitchez
- Rambling Old Man Monologue: Whenever he explains a glitch he takes time to tell a story about him and Diablo.
- Remember When You Blew Up a Sun?: Old Man Snitchez has stated several times about how he fought demons.Jirard: Nobody messes with Old Man Snitchez
- Un-person: He was voiced by Greg, and was among the recurring characters/jokes to be removed with his departure.
