Alika / Alika Λ
- Her Heart Will Go On: Her backstory is that she lost her one true love at 20, and continues to mourn him.
- Love Makes You Crazy: Alika's recode reveals she has a coffin which scans any man she traps inside to see if they are her soulmate. Even when it does find the one, she has no intentions to marry him, and instead keeps him forever trapped inside the coffin.
- Treasure Hunter: Equip the skill and it increases all items' drop chance by 25%.
- True Blue Femininity: Alika has a balanced amount of blue and white in all of her designs.
Amazora / Amazora Λ
- Dual Wielding: She has two swords.
- Dub Name Change: She goes by "Amazon" in the Japanese version.

- Broken Bird: Her family was slaughtered by brigands when she was a child, leading her to become mistrustful of others.
- Dark Is Not Evil: Fights with a motif of darkness, but for good, rather than evil.
- Flower Motifs: It is a noted character trait that Bahl loves picking flowers. Samatha asks what's so good about them and their short lifespan which greatly angers her.
- Glass Cannon: Little in the way of defense but the buff mentioned below makes her deal huge amounts of damage.
- Imaginary Love Triangle: At least Samatha thinks of her as a rival.
- Status Buff: One of three characters to get Physical Damage x1.5.

- A Hero to His Hometown: In a sense. Her recode version's backstory has her adored by everyone in her small hometown for her singing. Once she sets out to a bigger city she quickly notices that she was just a big fish in a small pond.
- The Chanteuse: Eileen's story portrays her as one.
- Disproportionate Retribution: Asking her age is a major offense.
- Power Floats: Eileen is often coveted for her Levitation ability.
- Talking in Your Sleep: There are rumors floating around of co-stars running away after hearing her mumble about not killing things for long periods of time.
Ellvern / Ellvern Λ

Attribute: Remedy (first and third job, and recode)
- Back-Alley Doctor: What his 60-year old self ended up as. Nonetheless he proved competent enough to be the personal physician of several prominent people.

- Fountain of Youth: Ellvern's recode goes back to when he was a young boy.
- Power Floats: One of the skills he's coveted for.
- Wise Beyond Their Years: Ellvern's recode reveals that, as a kid, he was very intelligent and almost became a doctor before he decided to quit his degree.

- Younger Than They Look: Her story states that Grace is only 15 years of age. The game makes a note that her father was bad at counting.
Harold
- Class: A
Weapon: Bow
- The Fashionista: Harold is stated to be into clothes and fashion in his story.
- Fluffy Tamer: Horse taming became his chosen profession after quitting the military.
- Mirror Character: The interaction with Olber. At first, they are presented as two different people, but it soon becomes clear that both are just as uncertain as each other about their futures, and both lament loosing their families. As the ending sentence puts it:The two men evidently had more than just a king in common. They stood in silence together for some time, lost in memories of home.
Jennish / Jennish Λ
- Cool Old Guy: It's Jennish who tells Ra'prow that he's listening to rap music.
- Elite Army: Used to be part of the Special Orbling Unit and able to control two Orblings at once.
- Expy: Bears more than a passing resemblance to Octa.
- Fountain of Youth: His recode character is a younger version of himself.

- BFS: The sword in her first job, and later Wyrmtail.

- Give Him a Normal Life: She wanted Velraine to live a safe life. Unfortunately, her awakening powers prevent that.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Her husband died protecting her from a dragon's attack.
- Legendary Weapon: She can use Wyrmtail, a renowned dragon slaying sword, although the blade is red in her design. It's passed on from her husband.
- Parental Neglect: She wasn't around much for Velraine.

- Dirty Old Man: Mogha the Lecherous indeed. See also the second line of his profile:He could be broadly summed up as a pervert.
- Only in It for the Money: He follows the group seeking the Maker only because they refused to pay him for the tower tour; also because the breasts of the dancer among the group caught his fancy.
- Power-Up Food: Eats Elemental Capsules when dragged through them.
- Tour Guide Gag: He fashions himself a tour guide of the Tower of Temptation and spices up the tours with inside jokes nobody gets.
Myne
- Hikikomori: Due to not being able to trust anyone.
- The Paranoiac: Worries about anything and everything all the time.
- Picky Eater: If he didn't cook it himself he won't eat it. It just might be poisoned!
- Status Infliction Attack: Can reduce all stats of all enemies for the turn even before attacking.
- Transhuman: He integrates with a device that monitors and supplies his body with the missing nutrients to offset one of his fears.
Olber / Olber Λ

- The AceHe was lauded for his discipline, skill, and readiness to give up his life in the line of duty at any time.

Rejin / Reijin Λ

- Aggressive Negotiations: Her Pro Negotiator skill which increases enemy recruitment rate by 800%.
- Break Them by Talking: Her method focuses on sound arguments and research. She also keeps records of her victims.
- Cute Witch
- Identical Twin ID Tag: Rikken has a turquoise clover tattoo on the left side of her face, and her twin Yukken has the opposite.
- Sibling Yin-Yang: Rikken is more focused on the quality of her words and arguments, and according to her description, is not as popular and well-liked as Yukken.
- Status Infliction Attack: Can paralyze enemies with her arrows.
Samatha / Samatha Λ
- Aggressive Negotiations: Her Negotiator skill increases enemy recruitment rate by 200%.
- Does Not Like Men: Is afraid of men who aren't her family. Gatz is an exception.
- Imaginary Love Triangle: Misunderstands Gatz's comments about Bahl and consequently thinks of her as a rival in love. This gets rather awkward when you realize Samatha is 20 and Gatz is 13. Bahl herself is 25, but she's obviously not interested in relationships of any kind considering her backstory.
- Power-Up Food: Eats Elemental Capsules when dragged through them.
- Tomboy: Being raised along three brothers turned her into one. Samatha's 20 years old, comes from a respectable family, and loves hunting to the extent she's called Samatha the Huntress in her second job, and later becomes part robotic in order to improve her hunting further.
Sayu
- Bubble Gun: Wields Soap Bubble Magic. She even invented the soap, which is made of highly compressed, liquefied light, herself.
- Girlish Pigtails
- Little Miss Snarker: She's got quite the sarcastic remark regarding her modified body:People were appalled at this, but Sayu breezily remarks that capturing light can help save on power bills.
- Ms. Fanservice: While implied with regular Sayu, Sayu Λ outright shows off all of her attributes, which includes a sizable bust with underboobs, midriff and Zettai Ryouiki.
- Power-Up Food: Eats Elemental Capsules when dragged through them.
- Stripperiffic: The attire Sayu Λ wears leaves very little to the imagination.
- Transhuman: While this is an integral part to TerraBattle's setting and story as a whole, she modified her body to generate the light bubbles for her magic on its own. Onlookers where appalled.
Sheena

- Dance Battler: Her profile states she wanted to combine her love of dance and swordplay.
- Dual Wielding: Sheena eventually uses two swords in her third job.
- Fluffy Fashion Feathers: Present for her third job.
- Gold Makes Everything Shiny: She gets a lot of gold in her third job.
- Magic Dance / Magic Music: She wears decorations that when grazed against each other causes vibrations that has healing effects.
- Showgirl Skirt: She gets a short one for her third job.
Sorman

- Death Seeker: His being supremely long-lived and the resulting problems of every travel companion dying long before him has left him broken.

- Light Is Good: Always seen with a warm smile on his face, unwilling to take lives even on the battlefield.
- Miniature Senior Citizens: He's quite a bit shorter than the other adults.
Suoh / Suoh Λ
- Class: SS (Z for recode)

- Assassin: Both as a moniker and through his Assassinate skill.
- Chef of Iron: He ran an eatery in a far away place after deserting his incurably corrupt homeland.
- Jack of All Trades: Can be any of the melee classes.
- Status Buff: Either buffing his physical damage output or adjacent allies' skill rate.
Velraine
- BFS: The sword she uses in her second job, and Wyrmtail.
- Disappeared Dad: Her father died during a job with her mother. This caused her to hate her mother Maralme.
- Dual Wielding: Velarine uses two daggers for her first job only.
- Legendary Weapon: She can use Wyrmtail, although the blade is grey in her design. It's passed on from her parents.
- Whip Sword: Wyrmtail.
Yukken / Yukken Λ

- Impossibly Cool Clothes: Yulia wears a long-sleeved, collared, chequered one-piece leotard-like outfit, but doesn't do up any of the buttons at the top. On top of that, she has a belt across her waist that seems to be attached to a piece of blue cloth that drapes over her back, like a bustle. When she gets to her second and third jobs, she doesn't even bother wearing the top half of the leotard, and it all hangs over her belt instead.

- Blue Blood: It is stated in her description that she comes from an aristocratic background.

- The Good King: Prior to his assault on the Tower of Temptation. What followed in Agra caused his volatile temper.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: The loss of his forces in the city of Agra at the hands of mechanical insects caused this. The same machines ironically helped him mellow out on the return trip.

- Starving Artist: Both his parents are this, which is why they abandon him.
- Status Buff: One of three characters to get Physical Damage x1.5.
O'pari
- Birds of a Feather: Gigojago and him like star viewing.
- More Dakka: Goes from one large crossbow to four to at least 22 per shoulder with more scattered about on his other armor parts.
- Super-Speed: Apparently his tackles create sonic booms.
- Super-Toughness: According to his description, he has extremely tough skin and is capable of crushing enemies to death.
Piz'fer / Piz'fer Λ
- An Ice Person: Eyewitnesses report the pond he nearly drowned in instantly froze after it parted to either side from him.
- Power-Up Food: Eats Elemental Capsules when dragged through them.
- Super Drowning Skills: Nearly drowned as a child only to be rescued by Orblings. Since then he counts them among his closest friends.
- Who Names Their Kid "Dude"?: He named his Orbling Jasleen. Burbaba points out that Orbling is a male.
Ra'prow
- Class: B

- Dance Battler: He listens to rap in battles, and matches his moves with the rhytms and beats.
- Dreadlock Warrior
- The Fashionista: According to the interaction with Harold, Ra'prow enjoys clothes shopping too.
R'zonand
- Class: A

- The Casanova
- Jack of All Trades: Can heal, inflict enemies with confusion and sleep as well as cleanse allies of those ailments and can cut enemies' HP by 1/3.
- Sharp-Dressed Man: Always seen in a satin suit and a red scarf.
Sha'plar
- Empathic Weapon: Her sword contains a deity that acts as a catalyst to her powers by absorbing the miasma she exudes.
- Famed In-Story: Lizardfolk refer to her a witch for mastering the most difficult black arts by job 1 and as a near-deity by job 2.
- One-Hit Kill: Death
- Poisonous Person: Anyone who breathes in her breath suffers nerve damage, according to her description.
Sh'berdan
- Class: B
Weapon: Spear
- Casting a Shadow: For his third job, three of the skills are shadow-based attacks.
- Master Poisoner: Djugan's comments sparked the research in utilizing the chemicals from his ever changing bodily odors as neurotoxins or to Mind Control enemies.
- Shock and Awe: For his second job, three of the skills are lightning-based attacks.
- Smells Sexy: Sh'berdan makes money from selling his bodily odor as perfume ingredients.
- The Strategist: His wide field of vision and discernment for moving objects make him one.
S'naip
- Class: B
Weapon: Bow
- Ax-Crazy: His personality is this, though it's more prominent in his first job.
- Glass Cannon: Like Bahl for swords and Ma'curi for spears, he's this for bows.
- Improbable Weapon User: Justified. S'naip is an archer, but uses his own tail as the bow, though his description points out that he's Ax-Crazy anyway, and his tail is fairly strong and flexible enough to be a bow.
- Tail Slap: S'naip can learn this for his level 65 skill in his first job.
U'nasag
- Flechette Storm: Can shoot his quickly regenerating spines.
- Kids Are Cruel: Kem and Korin tease U'nasag for looking like a merman, while Pahrl got into a laughing fit over his baldness which made him mad enough to lose his sense of taste that night.
- Making a Splash: He's primarily an underwater fighter in his backstory.
Y'apkar
- Imagine Spot: When he finally meets a real princess, Palpa, she doesn't fit his highly romanticized mental image of one.
- Magitek: A picture book made him want to be a Magitek Knight.
- Save the Princess: The same picture book made him yearn to find a woman of his own to protect.
- Stat Grinding: Stated to have no innate ability for magic, yet perseverance made him able to achieve his dream of becoming a Magitek Knight.

Andelucia
- Combat Stilettos
- The Drifter: She spends her time traveling the world and not staying for long when in an inn.
- Noble Fugitive: Which explains the money and the maids.
- Tomboyish Ponytail: In her third job.
- The Pig-Pen: She never cleans up her room and litter covers the floor, sprouting mold. The innkeepers stay silent as not only does Andelucia rent the whole inn well in advance and is a big spender, but a horde of maids appears on the day of departure and cleans the whole mess up.
Amimari
- Class: SS
Weapon: Staff (first and third job), Sword (second job)
Attribute: Healing (first and third job)
- Combat Medic: Gains sword skills in job 2.
- Feminine Women Can Cook: She makes beautifully arranged lunches that are said to have reached the level of art; Ami'sandra being Ami'sandra finds them base and disgusting.
- Last Words: Her mother's last words are what drove her to be a nurse.
- Limited Wardrobe: She still wears the first outfit she bought with her first wage as a nurse-in-training.
- Parental Abandonment: Her father was framed by an unscrupulous lawyer which caused the family financial ruin. He died of guilt and shame while her mother died soon after.
- Pretty in Mink: Her coat it lined with golden fur.
- Tears of Joy: After bumping into Rikken she took a glance at her Kill record that fell to the ground. Among the listed people was the lawyer who drove her family to ruin. Tears welled up and Amimari thanked Rikken much to the latter's confusion.
Bajanna
- Class: SS

- Mini Dress Of Power
- Money Multiplier: Coin Bonus functions as this, though only when enemies die in pincers she leads.
- Necromancer: Like other family members, Bajanna is capable of this.
- One-Hit Kill: Dispatch can hit enemies in a cross shape around her.
- Ryokan Inn: Her family runs one. She's the poster girl and helps out as well.
- Sinister Scythe: The spear in her character portraits.
Bonna / Bonna Λ
- Class: S (Z for recode)
Weapon: Staff (jobs 1-3), Bow (recode only)
Attribute: Remedy (jobs 1-3)
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Out of the three Beastfolk idol girls, Bonna's color is grey and black. She also has a black and white bear as a companion.
- Experience Booster: Can raise gained EXP by 15%.
- Giant Poofy Sleeves: Only for her first job.
- Idol Singer: Bonna is the most popular teen idol on the overworld. At least jobs 1 and 2 are.
- Lyrical Dissonance: The lyrics she writes herself plus the growling are called diabolical and akin to demon summoning. Zafitte capitalizes on this out of jealousy.
- Punk Rock: By job 3 she runs a one-woman ska punk band.
- Taken for Granite: Her first job is entirely revolved around the Petrification ailment.
- Underwear of Power: Her recode depicts her wearing a see-through black negligee over a set of white underwear.
Burbaba
- Class: A
Weapon: Sword (first job), Spear (second job), Bow (third job)
- Boisterous Bruiser: Burbaba is pretty tough (see Made of Iron below), but he is also shown to have a softer side, as he calls Piz'fer's Orbling cute, and is offended when he doesn't have any names for them.
- Dreadlock Warrior
- Jack of All Trades: Can be any of the melee classes.
- Made of Iron: Burbaba can take an astonishing amount of hits, but it is implied in his third job that he is suffering from memory loss as a result.
Gaiga
- Break the Cutie: She teaches Pahrl to be more mature and womanly, but this backfires spectacularly when all her admirers flock to Pahrl instead; Gaiga then realizes she can't beat her junior's youthful attractiveness and innocence.
- Lady in Red
- Master of None: She's considered the worst of the four physical elemental SS characters. Only three attacking skills compared to the others' five combined with her mostly useless instant-death gimmick makes it hard to justify picking her over Czekras, Koko or Samatha.
