Tales of Teora contains a few original characters to fit in with the re-contexed world.
Nero
Nero is a human who grew up in the Teoran domain. Never knowing who is parents were, he was raised by Gwain. Nero is a servant to Princess Ami, but is later promoted to being her personal bodyguard.
- Adaptational Badass: Nero was created with this in mind, as he is not only more capable, but less of a Butt-Monkey than Geo. Not to mention that he has more personality to him than Geo.
- Captain Ersatz: An angsty, sardonic, short-tempered young adult that wields a sword and a pistol and is named after the Italian word for black? Sounds familiar.
- Casting a Shadow: The main character wields the element of Darkness, which in contrast to Ami's Love element represents negative emotions.
- Contrasting Replacement Character: Unlike Geo, who is a Martial Pacifist that doesn't like fighting people. Nero is eager to fight when given the opportunity, or when he feels like it.
- Early-Installment Weirdness: In the old version of the fanfic, Nero's personality was less concrete, he also wielded a gun alongside his sword
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Despite being a cold and somewhat choleric character, Nero has shown signs of compassion during times.
- Palette Swap: His current appearance is just a re-color of the character he is supposed to be replacing.
- Power Stereotype Flip: His short temper and somewhat explosive personality would fit better with the Lightning element.
- Sir Swears-a-Lot: Nero is usually seen as this, he has the highest swear count for any character.
- Tsundere: Type B
Ai Fujibayashi
A mysterious ninja who is sent out on a mission to assassinate Luna.
- Action Girl: She is shown as a capable fighter, able to defeat Luna's robot using her Ninja skills.
- Expy: Ai is very similar to Tear Grants. Both characters are first seen trying to assassinate the main villian.
- She's also similar to Chloe Valens with a similar revenge motivation and sense of honor.
- Ice Queen: She is a cold and stoic person, not wanting any help from others being confident in her own skills.
- Ninja: One of the more accurate examples being an infiltrator.
- Shout-Out: She shares the same reoccurring surname with Sheena and Suzu Fujibayashi
- Stock Ninja Weaponry: Her main weapon is a ninjato, with shuriken as throwing weapons.
Eclipse Division
Eclipse Division
The Eclipse Division are essentially Luna's answer to the Gwain Warriors, They are a black ops unit that do all the dirty work for her.
- Expy: Moontech might have gotten inspiration from Shinra's Turks.
Huang
The head of Luna's Eclipse Division, Huang is a no-nonsense and stern guy who only cares about getting the job done.
- Expy: Of Tseng.
- The Dragon: To Luna.
