Sirius

  • The Ace: Adept in many forms of combat, exceptional aiming skills, well-versed in weaponry, and a competent pilot and mechanic.
  • Ace Custom: Sirius' Eldiss S7 rifle has been customised to better fit his needs.
  • Ace Pilot: While many of his ship's systems can handle the craft just fine, it becomes a truly incredible sight when he pilots it himself.
  • Antihero: His goals are noble, but he’s no stranger to doing all that he needs to get the job done.
  • Arch-Enemy: Sirius and Rigel's conflict lasts for over four-hundred years.
  • Cold Sniper: Both literally and metaphorical, he's as stoic as he is accurate.
  • Cool Starship: The Orion, Sirius' personal spacefaring vessel.
  • Cranial Processing Unit: All the Sentinels have their 'minds' inside their heads.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: All of his old companions have long since past, and he bears the burden of failing to save Takiraah.
  • Grumpy Old Man: His cynicism is matched by his age.
  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: By Rigel, during their final battle.
  • Improbable Aiming Skills: Capable of making nearly impossible shots with the correct equipment and conditions.
  • Invisibility Cloak: His armour allows him to bend visible light around himself, rendering him invisible, but also restricts his vision as light is also bent around his optics.
  • Knight in Sour Armour: Despite all his efforts, the Corrupt seem only to grow in power during his fight with them.
  • The Last Dance: His battle with Rigel as they both border death.
  • Living Relic: Of both Terrain tech and the Order’s ideals.
  • No Hero Discount: Given how most of his achievements never reach the public, Sirius still has to pay full prices for all of his gear and equipment.
  • Omniglot: Speaks over ten different languages, though many of them are no longer in use.
  • The Remnant: The last of the T'Nuan Order, and still carries out it's will to his better end.
  • Scarf of Asskicking: Though it's rather tattered at this point, which arguably makes it more asskicking.
  • Scars Are Forever: Despite volite’s regenerative properties, many of Sirius’ larger scars linger.
  • Technical Pacifist: Though Sirius prefers to avoid killing whenever he can, he is not afraid to seriously injure his opponents.
  • Spanner in the Works: Sirius acts as this for many of Rigel's plans.
  • Terror Hero: He's been known to intimidate those he does not wish to kill but still has business with.
  • The Stoic: Sirius rarely shows any kind of emotion, regardless of the situation, save for only the most extreme circumstances.
  • Vigilante Man: Sirius often takes the role of this.
  • Warrior Monk: T'Nuan Guardians were often described in this way due to their robes and enigmatic nature, and Sirius is no exception.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Sirius performs many illegal and often morally questionable acts in the name of his overall mission of safeguarding the Takiruun's freedom.
  • You Are Number 6: Sirius is officially designated as the Sentinel Unit 7.

Cassiopeia

  • Action Girl: She's one of the most capable combatants the galaxy's ever witnessed, despite her tendency to peaceful nature.
  • Cranial Processing Unit: All the Sentinels have their 'minds' inside their heads.
  • Glowing Eyes: Her visor always displays bright green eyes.
  • Guns Akimbo: Often dual-wielded her weapons during the Conflict.
  • Invisibility Cloak: Is able to turn invisible by bending light around herself, at the cost of partially restricting her vision.
  • Lady of War: Her sleek, lightly coloured chassis and flowing scarf gives her a graceful appearance on the battlefield.
  • Made of Iron: Her robotic nature makes her extremely resilient.
  • Plucky Girl: Known for her optimism and kind-hearted nature despite the situations she often finds herself in.
  • Robot Girl: Despite her human-like personality, Cassiopeia is entirely robotic.
  • Scarf of Asskicking: Even a faded red, to boot.
  • You Are Number 6: Like the other Sentinels, Cassiopeia has this, as Unit 5.

Rigel

  • Alas, Poor Villain: Despite being mortal enemies for centuries, Rigel goes out with a heartfelt conversation with his brother.
  • Arch-Enemy: Rigel and Sirius' conflict lasts for over four-hundred years.
  • BFG: Rigel is often seen using incredibly large weapons, sometimes even using ones designed for machines much larger than himself.
  • Big Bad: Though he's not the true mastermind of the Corrupt's plans, he certainly appears so to Sirius.
  • Cranial Processing Unit: All the Sentinels have their 'minds' inside their heads.
  • Evil Counterpart: To Sirius, in many ways, since they're not that different.
  • The Heavy: The one enemy Sirius repeatedly fights and can never beat.
  • Neck Lift: His preferred interrogation technique.
  • It's Raining Men: One of his preferred methods of entry to a scene is via orbital drop.
  • Taking You with Me: Rigel attempts this on Sirius after being heavily damaged by a missile blast from his ship.
  • Utopia Justifies the Means: The goal of the Corrupt, and by extension Rigel, is to uplift humanity to its original state of near-utopian society, though it may not be as perfect for the Takiruun as he claims.
  • You Are Number 6: Like the other Sentinels, Rigel has this, as Unit 8.

Castor

  • Cranial Processing Unit: All the Sentinels have their 'minds' inside their heads.
  • Cyber Cyclops: Unlike his kin, Castor has only one eye on his visor.
  • Last Stand: Castor faces off against a massive Terran onslaught, resulting in his destruction.
  • Made of Iron: Castor was one of the most difficult-to-destroy Sentinels due to his thick armour plating.
  • Scarf of Asskicking: A big, brown scarf demonstrates he's a more-than-capable warrior.
  • Self-Destruct Mechanism: How Castor ultimately is destroyed, by deliberately breaking down his core so it detonates, killing him but also all the foes he was surrounded by.
  • Taking You with Me: Castor detonated himself with the intent of killing all the Terrans surrounding him in the process.
  • You Are Number 6: Like the other Sentinels, except Castor actually is Unit 6.
