    B001: Min-Jae Parker

B001: Min-Jae Parker
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b001_min_jae_parker_0.png
Designated Weapon: Telescopic Baton
Conclusion: I can appreciate confidence and independence, but those anger issues might not do you so well in a survival situation. Good luck, and I hope that baton helps. It's not a gun, but it's something I suppose. - Boris Petrikov

"Here’s a secret, Dot: there’s no such thing as dying honorably. Having a ‘good death’ is something we made up to make ourselves feel better, because no matter who you are, what you have, or where you’re going, you’re going alone and you’ve paved the road yourself. Dying isn’t what matters; it’s how you live."

  • Auto Erotica: Has sex with Hazel in the back of a truck in the vehicle depot.
  • Goth
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Has one which causes him to end up murdering someone in a fit of rage.
  • Sole Survivor: Winner of Survival of the Fittest Version 6.
  • "Take That!" Kiss: On the receiving end of one from Fiyori Senay during their endgame fight.

    B002: Conrad Harrod
B002: Conrad Harrod
Designated Weapon: 6-foot Halberd
Conclusion: This guy needs to realise that he has bigger problems than his rep. That won't save him when his friends decide he's easy meat, even with his overcompensation stick.- Josie Knight

"We could try to protect ourselves. Try to outlast the other persons, until we're the only ones left? I don't know, Clarice."

    B003: Jeremy Frasier
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/645px_v6_alignment_chart_6.jpg
B003: Jeremy Frasier
Designated Weapon: Scoped Raging Bull
Conclusion: A gun will serve you well on the island, especially such a potent little revolver. But do make sure to control your emotions, you don't want to get into more fights than you have to. - Boris Petrikov

"So it’s like… the Seneca thing I’ve probably told you about. The whole, like, hope cycle thing. If people are too optimistic at the fact that a certain thing is going to happen, then if it doesn’t happen like they think they get sad. If someone’s pessimistic, then they’re fine if it doesn’t happen, but happy if it does happen. I’ve been… sorta going by that. Just going by and doing as much as I can, so that when the time comes, I can look back and be happy."

    B004: Joshua Bracewell
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b004_joshua_bracewell.jpg
B004: Joshua Bracewell
Designated Weapon: Falchion
Conclusion: If B004 can upgrade his tennis swing to a sword swing he might stand a chance...wait he trusts everyone...nevermind. - Josie Knight

    B005: Vincenzo/a Gatti
B005: Vincenzo/a Gatti
Designated Weapon: Chef's Knife
Conclusion: Another one? I mean hey, this guy...gal...person. Fuck it. I don't care. Weapon's not bad, if they stay in an unaccommodating mood they could get stuff done, maybe. - Josie Knight

"This goes on any longer, and I have to pick between my life and someone else's, and I'm not doing that. I'm not letting these people make me do that."

  • The Nicknamer: Supplies nicknames to all their friends and everyone they encounter in the game.
  • Web Video: Is a relatively popular video game streamer.

    B006: Barry Banks
B006: Barry Banks
Designated Weapon: MAC-10
Conclusion: Football. It's called football. This guy has human shield written all over him. Good luck to whoever pries that gun out of his cold, dead hands. - Trent Camden

"Hey, it's really great that you're here. There's something that I've really gotta tell you.(..)Seriously, you don't know how great it is that we found you."

    B007: Jasper Bustamante
B007: Jasper Bustamante
Designated Weapon: Broken bottle
Conclusion: This kid's been oppressed in one way or another his entire life, but now he'll finally have the chance to be himself. Too bad this is the last place to be an all-loving Pollyanna. - Trent Camden

"I know we’re all going to… (...) Die, can't we all just spend our last days in peace?"

    B008: Nate Turner
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b008_nate_turner.png
B008: Nate Turner
Designated Weapon: 6-foot Bo Staff
Conclusion: Oh my god. That's just too fucking funny man. It's so much bigger than him. I hope for Frodo's sake he can use that proportional strength I've heard so much about to make the best of this.- Josie Knight

"What’s the point of being the last one alive, just to say that you were?"

  • Actual Pacifist: The worst he ever does is push a shelf over on Min-Jae Parker, and even then Min-Jae was trying to shoot him at the time. Leads to Suicidal Pacifism come endgame.
  • Face Death with Dignity: Double Subverted. He was prepared to die, but panicked when Fiyori Senay actually started strangling him from behind and bit down hard on her arm in anger when she claimed to be doing him a favour. When it doesn't work though, he does accept his fate.
  • Incorruptible Pure Pureness: In the end he refused an easy win of V6 by not shooting two active players when he had a golden opportunity to do so, as he felt that surviving couldn't justify becoming a killer.
  • Massive Numbered Siblings: Has four older brothers.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Delivers a lot of his pent up opinions about SOTF and the people who gave into it towards the two players he refused to shoot instead.
  • Tiny Schoolboy: Is only 4'6", due to a pituitary gland disorder. This puts him as the shortest boy in any version of SOTF.
  • Wide-Eyed Idealist: Believes he can convince people not to kill each other for a long portion of his tenure on the island, but the situation does its very best to convince him otherwise.

    B009: Alessio Rigano
B009: Alessio Rigano
Designated Weapon: 10 foot pole
Conclusion: So this is the guy from Diary of a Wimpy kid right? Gotta say I hate quitters, so hopefully B009 saves us all some time and gets it over with quick. - Josie Knight

"I'm not a monster."

  • Hypocrite: He mentally calls Amanda Tan a psycho for pulling a gun to defend herself in a confrontation, when he himself had killed four people unprovoked at that point.
  • Love Makes You Evil: Alessio tried to confess his love and want to protect Vanessa Stone to her but failed. The loss of self-esteem and anger from the rejection he perceived grew out of control until he killed Vanessa's best friend, Cameron Herrig, and that was just for starters.
  • Man on Fire: Stumbles through a campfire during a brawl with Coleen Reagan and was both burned during the fight.

    B010: Noah Whitley
B010: Noah Whitley
Designated Weapon: Sawblade Slinger
Conclusion: I want one. - Josie Knight

"Yeah! We're all peace, flowers, and chocolate cake here! Please be up for that!"

  • Absurdly Sharp Blade: Sawlaska Thunderfuck 5000 is a slinger that throws sawblades. Noah ends up showing how sharp the blade is when he finally uses it against Isabel Ramirez.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Not Noah himself, but in his death post, his drag persona Pina Bucket makes a joke about being "out of a job."
  • Camp Gay
  • Drag Queen: Performs as a drag queen named Pina Bucket back home.
  • Dying Smirk Is smiling in his final moments after realizing his killer, Isabel Ramirez, is about to be attacked and killed by other students.
  • Fanboy: For LGBT media, particularly RuPaul's Drag Race, and comedy.
  • Heroic BSoD: Has a brief moment of this when he learns his frenemy Irene Djezari died. He gets over it after a day of mourning.
  • I Call It "Vera": Names his sawblade slinger Sawlaska Thunderfuck 5000 after a famous drag queen.
  • Morality Pet: As the All About My Mother Meanwhile thread shows, Noah was key to keeping his feuding family members civil around one another
  • Plucky Comic Relief: Tries to act as this in his various groups, with varying success.
  • Shoo Out the Clowns: Is the first character to die in Die Anywhere Else, setting the tone for the brutality of the thread. Also applies OOC, as he died around the halfway point of the game.
  • Squick: The leprechaun joke Noah tells in the thread I Carry On When The Valley's Deep is pretty gross.
  • Web Video: Hosts a YouTube comedy series called The Noah and Pina Show, starring him and his drag character.
  • White-Dwarf Starlet: The persona of Noah's drag character, Pina Bucket.

    B011: Michael Crowe
B011: Michael Crowe
Designated Weapon: Felling Axe
Conclusion: A fighting spirit will help you survive on the island, but don't overestimate yourself. Stay strong, stay calm, and keep going. - Boris Petrikov

"Some dumb kids trying to play pretend. I tried to be the hero, and it just didn't work. I tried though, I tried my hardest, and even that wasn't enough."

  • Dirty Coward: When on his own at gunpoint, Michael will gladly run away or take hostages to save his own skin.
  • Enemy Rising Behind: Michael invokes this trope to surprise and warn the man he's stalking and intending to kill, Alex Tarquin, for being a prior murderer and having mutilated Michael earlier.
  • Groin Attack: Delivers one to Will McKinley with a shock knife.
  • Heroic Wannabe: He sees himself as a player hunter out to stop the killers from doing whatever they want. From many others perspective, Michael's seen as a loudmouth bully whose attitude rubs many people the wrong way, leading to confrontations and the death of his partner, Jeremiah Larkin.
  • Improbable Hairstyle: Michael "Flock of Seagulls" Crowe.
  • Miles Gloriosus: Michael talks a tough game, portraying himself as an 80’s action hero straight out of a vigilante cop movie, but he frequently folds or runs away once he doesn’t have the upper hand.
  • The Teetotaler

    B013: Alvaro Vacanti
B013: Alvaro Vacanti
Designated Weapon: $1000, in 100 $10 bills
Conclusion: If this was The Apprentice I'd give this kid a chance, but considering that you can't buy your way to victory on SOTF? Alvaro, you're fired. - Trent Camden

"Then… (...) Then I’d make you."

  • Nervous Wreck: He is very much unable to weather the mental stress of the dangers of the island. His fear makes him accidentally kill a friend, Barry Banks, and he ultimately reaches the point of a Freak Out where he decides he needs to kill more simply because he's afraid now that others know he's a killer.
  • Poor Communication Kills: He mistakes Barry's concern for aggression, leading him to kill his friend.

    B014: Henry Spencer
B014: Henry Spencer
Designated Weapon: 8-foot Bullwhip
Conclusion: Keep that optimism you have, but don't let it control you. If you stay strong and use your knowledge you'll make it out okay. - Boris Petrikov

"Haven't eaten all day which is, you know, yeah kinda sucky. Mind if I borrow some protein bars or something? (...) Not borrow, really, but uh, yeah, eat. And then, later, you know. I assume you don't want them back! But no seriously. (...) That sound okay? I'm a little desperate."

    B016: Tyler Yazzie
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b016_tyler_yazzie.png
B016: Tyler Yazzie
Designated Weapon: Ram Dao sword
Conclusion: B016 has a lot of tools at his disposal, but a lot of enemies. Can you afford to be the dirtiest player in the game? ... Eh. Comparing you to Ric Flair hardly seems appropriate. With a weapon like that... maybe Paul Burchill? You know, just minus the incest part. What was Vince thinking? - Dennis Lourvey

"Didn't know why I did it. Didn't kill 'im, and I couldn't tell you why there neither. (...) Been making up reasons ever since. Dunno if any of 'em are right. But it means I gotta ask...when you find her, is it really gonna matter what she tells ya? (...) Or are you just gonna do whatever you feel like you gotta do, and figure out why you did it later?"

    B017: Bart Cappotelli
B017: Bart Cappotelli
Designated Weapon: Dale Carnegie’s “How to Stop Worrying and Start Living”
Conclusion: Am I reading this right? He smells of FISH!? I'm dying in my chair here, but writing 'hahaha' over and over again for a conclusion is kind of tacky. I'll just say I'm glad we have sophisticated life monitoring technology, because we sure as hell couldn't use a sniff-test on B017's body. - Dennis Lourvey

PS: Abby says that one was a little mean. Guess I should lay off the Red Bull.

"Okay, uh... I guess I can stay with you guys (...) Um... if you're all right with it, I mean."

  • The Pig-Pen: A variation. Although he isn't particularly slovenly, he has a medical condition that causes him to exude a constant, strong body odor.

    B018: Maxim Kehlenbrink
B018: Maxim Kehlenbrink
Designated Weapon: Hunting Bow & 20 Arrows (Borrowed from Josie Knight; it's scribbled all over with insults and bad jokes)
Conclusion: Josie wanted to do this one for obvious reasons, but I yanked it out from under her nose for one reason: Part of me's rooting for you, B018, just so if you survive, we can have a looooooong talk about why tabletop role-playing games are better than computer ones. I was so disappointed, man. - Dennis Lourvey

Note: Neverwinter Nights and Badur's Gate are okay, though!

"I wish I had a more exciting story to tell. Maybe one where I was caught by some big killer, and had to beg for my life, or use my wits to escape. But... well, considering where we are, I think I'm okay being boring for now."

    B019: Jeremiah "Jerry" Fury
B019: Jeremiah "Jerry" Fury
Designated Weapon: Switchblade
Conclusion: Forget the Ritalin, this kid needs an antipsychotic for all his delusions. Still, mix someone who doesn't know his limits with a practical weapon and a penchant for fights, and we've at least got a good show on our hands. - Trent Camden

"WWWREEEEEEEEEEE-!!"

  • Affectionate Parody: To a degree, Jerry is this to SOTF's less-than-realistic older versions.
  • Car Fu: The cause of Jerry's death at the hands of Serena Waters and her jeep.

    B021: Cristobal "Cristo" Morales
B021: Cristobal "Cristo" Morales
Designated Weapon: 5-foot spear
Conclusion: I think B021 may be onto a great tactic here. Just using that quietness to sneak up behind people than BAM! Surprise penetration. - Josie Knight

"I don't suppose I've ever thought about it... Peacefully, I guess."

  • Lovable Jock: Although some think his people-watching and anxiety are creepy instead of endearing.

    B022: Jeremiah "Jerry" Larkin
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b022_jeremiah_larkin.png
B022: Jeremiah "Jerry" Larkin
Designated Weapon: Shock Knife
Conclusion: Aikido, the internet hunting of martial arts. That knife is baller as fuck though. It may even give Seagal here a fighting chance. - Josie Knight

"Not today, bitch. And especially not to you."

  • Together in Death: His body is placed next to Scarlet's after he dies, as he had feelings for her.

    B023: Darius Van Dyke
B023: Darius Van Dyke
Designated Weapon: Chisel
Conclusion: Determination is your greatest asset on the island. Keep it and you might be able to carve out a name for yourself. - Boris Petrikov

"Don't you fucking dare to perceive a fat, green-haired nerd as a threat that needs to be taken out with this bullshit weapon."

  • Boom, Headshot!: His ultimate fate.
  • Brick Joke: Way back in pregame, someone stole Darius Van Dyke's Nintendo DS. Seven days into the game, the culprit, Fiyori Senay, realizes that she never returned it when she finds his dead body and addresses the cameras to ask her mom to return it to Darius's family.
  • Message in a Bottle: Suggests this as a way to get help for the abducted students. Junko Kurosawa hates this idea.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: Darius acts generally self-centered and pompous, putting down both strangers and allies with insults and baseless assumptions.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Darius tries to steal from Will McKinley, and then taunts him for the loss of his girlfriend, even when being threatened at gunpoint. This gets him killed.

    B024: Matthew "Matt" Moradi
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b024_matthew_moradi.png
B024: Matthew "Matt" Moradi
Designated Weapon: Selfie Stick
Conclusion: Even if your weapon is weak, your mind is strong. Use it well and you might just make it out alive. Do be nice, though. Don't make any enemies you don't have to. - Boris Petrikov

"I don't wanna be a loser, Nate. I've been a loser my entire life. That's about it.. I mean, I don't wanna win because I want to get a job or get married or go to college. (...) I just want to win because that's good enough. Just winning, you know? Making someone else lose. Living when everyone else died, even if it's for a second. That's good enough."

    B025: Sanford "Sandy" Bricks
B025: Sanford "Sandy" Bricks
Designated Weapon: 1x Molotov Cocktail
Conclusion: Sadly B025 you're not in Harry Potter, your parents deaths doesn't make you the chosen one. It just makes you a kid who's about to join them. - Josie Knight

  • Broken Bird: Sandy's parents dying in traumatic circumstances at a young age have caused him a myriad of mental health problems for most of his life. He received millions in compensation, but he barely acknowledges it and it does nothing to make him feel better.
  • Eye Scream: Gets a screwdriver through the eye in his fight with Nancy Kyle.
  • Leave Me Alone!: His attitude towards everyone he meets on the island. When they don't listen, he gets violent.

    B026: Bradley Floyd
B026: Bradley Floyd
Designated Weapon: M16 Rifle
Conclusion: Knock, knock. Who's there? Everyone. Everyone who? Everyone who fucking hates you. Good thing you have a gun B026, you're gonna need it. - Josie Knight

"I do not give a shit about any of that. (...) Why is this so hard to understand? I don’t want company, I don’t want to hang out with you or Danny or anyone else right now, and I don’t care if you think you’re going to hurt me or not."

  • The Insomniac
  • Jerkass
  • Too Dumb to Live: When Bradley encounters Kimiko Kao, a known murderer who has previous bad blood with him, what does he do? Go out of his way to piss her off when she's leaving. She immediately turns around and kills him for it.

Female Students

    G001: Cass Prince
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g001_cass_prince.png
G001: Cass Prince
Designated Weapon: Mop
Conclusion: Genderwhat now? Actually doesn't matter, you're fucked anyway. - Josie Knight

    G002: Lillian "Lily" Caldwell
G002: Lillian "Lily" Caldwell
Designated Weapon: Army helmet
Conclusion: Look at all the things this kid can do. Shame none of them can actually help. At least they can put the helmet on and pretend that they're actually a fighter. - Josie Knight

"Why’s it so easy for you?"

  • Deal with the Devil: Lily partners up with player Isabel Ramirez at Isabel's behest and goes along with it so Isabel won't kill her and in hopes of getting an opportunity to kill Isabel herself.
  • Morality Pet: Isabel wants to frame Lily as this so that people watching won't think of her as badly for her kills, which Lily obliges.
  • Murder by Inaction: Lily comes across her cousin Tina Luz in a fight with Isabel Ramirez. Initially intending to help, she remembers that there can only be one winner and does nothing as Tina becomes the first murder victim.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g004_nadia_riva.png
G004: Nadia Riva
Designated Weapon: Pair of Walkie-Talkies (24 hours of battery included)
Conclusion: I wonder how G004 is going to look modelling the Dead Kids of Cochise summer range. I hear red is in this year. - Josie Knight

"Look. If I don't come back, get out of Kingman. (...) Just...don't let this ruin you."

  • The Atoner: Admits her plan to kill Min-jae by surprise was a poor decision and that she deserves to die. She chooses to kill herself rather than let him receive credit for her murder.
  • Auto Erotica: During pregame, Nadia hooks up with her boyfriend Roderick Kanuho in his car out in the desert.
  • Better to Die than Be Killed: Nadia throws herself off the bridge rather than letting Min-jae get credit for her death. See Driven to Suicide.
  • Big Beautiful Woman: Nadia is a plus-sized model back home.
  • Camera Fiend: Interested in fashion photography.
  • Driven to Suicide: Played With, as she would have died from Min-jae shooting her in the chest with a crossbow bolt, but she threw herself off the bridge to avoid him being credited for her death and inviting more students to try and kill him.
  • Formerly Fat: Nadia was fairly heavyset as a child, and while she's still curvy she's slimmed down to a more healthy weight through diet and exercise.

    G005: Alice Baker
G005: Alice Baker
Designated Weapon: String of bunting
Conclusion: Small and non-threatening usually reads as 'I have absolutely no way to defend myself and will soon be dead', which this girl has in spades. At least she can give herself a quick out with that string if she feels like it. - Trent Camden

"I know it's scary and I understand. But it's real. And the sooner you accept it, the sooner we can do something about it."

    G006: Bryony Adams
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g006_bryony_adams.png
G006: Bryony Adams
Designated Weapon: Deck of playing cards
Conclusion: Welcome to the great outdoors loser. - Josie Knight

"It’s not… it’s not gonna get any easier, is it? But we can’t just, um… give up because of that, can we? We’ll… we’ll find a way."

    G007: Dorothy Shelley
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g007_dorothy_shelley.png
G007: Dorothy Shelley
Designated Weapon: 2x Escrima sticks
Conclusion: Friendliness can help you get a few more days of life. However, in a situation like the one you're going into friendliness only lasts so long. I wish you luck with those martial arts sticks, even if you're out of shape. - Boris Petrikov

"Maybe before we go tomorrow, we could set this place on fire? That'd be fun, right? Unless you wanna' stay here longer, I'm cool with that too."

  • Alas, Poor Yorick: Dorothy Shelley cuts off Isabel Ramirez's head after killing them and carries it around for a day or so.
  • Improvised Weapon: Isabel's head
  • Undignified Death: After everything that Dorothy does and goes through she ends up choking on some bread.

    G008: Coleen Reagan
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g008_coleen_reagan.png
G008: Coleen Reagan
Designated Weapon: Complete DVD series of Drake & Josh
Conclusion: This girl is so fucked, unlike her face you can't hide how bad that weapon is with some makeup. - Josie Knight

"Pain's one of those things in life, I found, that's going to find you no matter what. And if I learned anything here, it's that I can't go through the rest of my life being afraid to get hurt."

  • Expository Hairstyle Change: After an encounter with Alessio Rigano results in her travel partner, Arthur Bernstein, dying, Coleen decides to roll back her hair into a ponytail, fully showing her face and the burn scar she's had since she was a toddler.
  • Man on Fire: Stumbles through a campfire during a brawl with Alessio and was burned during the fight.
  • Reformed, but Rejected: After Alessio mortally injures Kiziah Saraki, one of her final requests is that Alessio join her group's cause of encouraging pacifism. Alessio, not wanting to kill anymore, actually agrees. However, it causes in-fighting among the rest of the group once they find out about it. This leads to the group splitting, thus denying Kiziah's last wishes.
  • Scars Are Forever: Coleen has a large burn scar covering half her face, stemming from an accident with boiling water as a child. She has a bit of a complex about it.
  • Shrinking Violet

    G010: Fiyori Senay
G010: Fiyori Senay
Designated Weapon: Military Shovel
Conclusion: A military shovel is a pretty decent weapon. Good at cutting, decent bludgeon. Be glad you got it. Being able to stay calm is a good skill, I approve. Keep track of your glasses though, and don't give up hope, there's always hope. - Boris Petrikov

"So I'll offer you this chance to kill me. I won't talk back, or complain, or whine, or do some sort of shitty morale posturing. Because frankly at this point I'm as tired of it as you are. The only thing I'll do is... shooting back."

  • Brick Joke: Was the one who stole Darius Van Dyke's DS back in pregame. She only remembers this when she finds his dead body.
  • Driven to Suicide: Was planning on killing herself before the game. She ends up killing herself at the very end, making her the last person to die and leaving Min-jae as the winner.

  • "Take That!" Kiss: Gives one to Min-jae during their endgame fight.

    G011: Caedyn Miller
G011: Caedyn Miller
Designated Weapon: MMA gloves
Conclusion: The drama queen gets to be on one of the hottest shows on the internet. She should be thanking us, really. - Trent Camden

"The stupidest thing is I don't care anymore either! I don't think about you when you're not around. I haven't thought about our relationship in forever. You treated me like a boring, ugly piece of shit, but I adulted up and got the fuck over it! And now you, you wanna stand here and tell me that you want closure?"

  • Bring My Brown Pants: Caedyn wakes up on the island to find that she has soiled herself.
  • Desecrating the Dead: Caedyn steals most of Jane Madison's clothes to replace her own ruined ones, leaving only Jane's bra. Possibly a deliberate humiliation on top of pragmatism, as Caedyn and Jane hated each other.

  • Jerkass
  • Web Video: Is a vlogger.

    G012: Taranis Behzad
G012: Taranis "Tara" Behzad
Designated Weapon: Flashbang grenades x3
Conclusion: Flashbang grenades can get you out of some dangerous situations. Use them wisely. Being fit will help, but make sure to eat and keep up your strength. Know that you're strong and live it. Don't let insecurity and fear get to you. - Boris Petrikov

"All we do is play roles. (...) We've been kids and students all our lives. Now they want us to be killers."

  • Driven to Suicide: Tara decides to simultaneously burn and blow herself up after an episode where she harms herself while attempting to remove her collar.
  • Man on Fire: Sets her arm on fire as part of a personal test after hearing the first announcement.

    G013: Penelope Fitzgerald
G013: Penelope Fitzgerald
Designated Weapon: Book for ‘Learning Spanish in 30 Days’
Conclusion: No veo cómo hemofobia será bueno y con ella el pacifismo? Atornillado. (At least that's what the book thinks)- Josie Knight

"... The idea is in a normal terrorist attack, we would have all died instantly. (...) We would all... we'd already be dead. And I think that we should all be able to just... accept that. (...) It sucks, I know it does. But it happens. We aren't any more special than anyone else. We don't deserve to live more than anyone else."

    G015: Kimiko Kao
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g015_kimiko_kao.png
G015: Kimiko Kao
Designated Weapon: Megaphone
Conclusion: I'm trying to put how perfect this is into words, but I just can't say anything. I guess that makes two of us. - Trent Camden

"<I think I'm going to hell.>"

    G017: Raina Rose
G017: Raina Rose
Designated Weapon: 1x Hand Grenade
Conclusion: Beginners knowledge of programming huh? Here's some beginners knowledge for that grenade. Throw it near a group of people you hate and it's hilarious. - Josie Knight

"What about it, Al!? You let all the murder out yet? Just took five people for you to finally start feeling bad!? (...) Too little, too late, buddy. You had your chance, and it was at number zero."

    G18: Asha Sur
G018: Asha Sur
Designated Weapon: Taser
Conclusion: Don't make 'shocking' pun, don't make 'shocking' pun. Okay. Well, G018 has the right attitude and dark-enough interests to make it work. So, keep her eyes on her and I think we'll have quite the electrifying experi-DAMN IT! - Dennis Lourvey

"If you absolutely have to threaten my life, I'd prefer that you address me while you do it. Why, it almost seems like you don't care about me. That hurts!"

  • The Anti-Nihilist: Asha acknowledges that most of the students have about a week to live at the longest and trying to get them to enjoy the time they have left.
  • Perky Goth

    G019: Serena Waters
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g019_serena_waters.png
G019: Serena Waters
Designated Weapon: Keys to a Jeep
Conclusion: I doubt there's going to be a roadtrip with the girls in G019's future, maybe the worlds worst remake of the Friday video instead. - Josie Knight

"...We can't let him go, he'll just kill again. (...) "Mom, Dad, Jordan. (...) I'm so sorry, please don't watch this."

    G021: Mia Rose
G021: Mia Rose
Designated Weapon: Uzi-Pro
Conclusion: I think G021 has great talent, but her status in this game is still amateur. Time to see if she wants to go pro. - Josie Knight

"We’re not even Bonnie and Clyde. We’re probably closer to Bert and Ernie than anything."

  • Accidental Murder: One the receiving end of one. Kaitlyn Greene tranquilized her with the intent to knock her out and rob her, but inadvertently killed her with an overdose.
  • Despair Event Horizon: After being rejected by her friend because she and Candice Banks have guns. This leads to her splitting with Candice and leads to her death.

    G022: Emma Luz
G022: Emma Luz
Designated Weapon: 16 feet of barbed wire
Conclusion: Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep little dead girl. You won't wake up, cause you'll be killed while you dream. - Josie Knight

"Whatever happens, happens."

  • Ambiguously Evil: After watching Lily die and learning the Awful Truth she starts falling into this. Her narration gets increasingly more misanthropic and paranoid, and she starts doing things like killing a seagull for food, leaving a group of players to kill each other, mortally injuring Keith Bauer, and getting into a fight with Alba and Fiyori which she loses. That said, much of this is circumstantial.
  • Became Their Own Antithesis: She starts as a sweet, well-read Naïve Everygirl who genuinely takes pride in her school. She ends as a misanthropic Crazy Survivalist.
  • Break the Cutie: Emma goes through hell and then some.
  • Crazy Survivalist: Played with. Emma and Sabrina's parents are preppers who encourage a similar mentality in their daughters, but there's no indication they are as extreme as this trope usually implies. Emma herself starts out thinking practically, but as time goes on she gets increasingly more paranoid.
  • Go-Getter Girl: Emma is the Student Council President, an aspiring doctor, and an Extracurricular Enthusiast. Naturally, this puts her in conflict with her illness.
  • Native Americans: She and the other Luzes are a mixture of Mojave and direct Spanish ancestry.
  • No Healthcare in the Apocalypse: Emma's narcolepsy has an adverse effect on her time in the game. It starts simply, with her taking longer to shake off the gas when she first wakes up on Day 1. However, she starts hallucinating and acting disorientated as time goes on, with trauma, physical strain, and not keeping up with her medication being factors.
  • Sleepyhead: Emma is officially diagnosed with narcolepsy. It's actually a more realistic portrayal, as she also shows less represented symptoms like cataleptic episodes triggered by strong sudden emotions, sleep paralysis, disorientation, and Hallucinations. She does fine when she's being treated, enough to be somewhat of a Go-Getter Girl, but in-game it starts taking its toll on her health.
  • Student Council President: Is this for Cochise's Senior Class.
  • Together in Death: Her body is placed next to her sister's after she dies.
