Male Students

    M01: David Burn
M01: David Burn
Designated Weapon: Pipe Wrench
Conclusion: Will probably end up killed in a flourishing move, although that Pipe Wrench may come in handy if he can smarten up quick.

    M02: Durriken Lovel
M02: Durriken Lovel
Designated Weapon: The Art of War by Sam Thompson
Conclusion: That draw is useless to him, and his fortune telling 'ability' won't do him any good anyways. If he can kill by stealth he may have a small chance, but I sincerely doubt it.

  • Character Death: Suprised by Brett Torres, and after a short confrontation between the two, shot by him.
  • Fortune Teller: Practices it in his spare time, partially thanks to his parents beliefs. And through the program he seems to predict a number of events happening before they do.
  • Long-Haired Pretty Boy: This along with Girls Like Musicians has given him a generous reputation with some of the female students, to his own bewilderment.

    M03: Louis Johnson
M03: Louis Johnson
Designated Weapon: Xbox Wireless Controller
Conclusion: Really, for all the faults, his lack of patriotism will probably be his down fall. Patriotic students always tend to be the most motivated. Combine that with another useless draw, and M03 doesn't amount to anything special.

    M04: Brendon Arrington
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/m4_brendon_arrington.jpg
M04: Brendon Arrington
Designated Weapon: Lighter and butane
Conclusion: If only he had drawn a gun, M04 would be a contender. As it stands though, that lighter will do him little good.

    M05: Benjamin Latimer
M05: Benjamin Latimer
Designated Weapon: Kimber Desert Warrior
Conclusion: Intimidatingly large, with a very nice weapon. M05 may be going places if he can overcome the admittedly small disadvantages he has.

    M06: Karl Chalmers
M06: Karl Chalmers
Designated Weapon: American Flag
Conclusion: That American Flag may be a deterrent to some of our more patriotic participants. However diplomacy will only work for so long, especially if his peers already have such a mindset about him. Early to middle out.

  • Enemy Mine: Ends up like this with Juliet Watanabe, teaming up despite their political differencies.
  • My Country, Right or Wrong: Holds onto this, and only starts to waver when he's been with Juliet for a while.

    M07: Michael Maxwell
M07: Michael Maxwell
Designated Weapon: Gardening Scythe
Conclusion: We've seen students snap before on The Program, and M07 fits that MO very well. His weapon is an added bonus to that possibility.

    M08: Sean Tucker
M08: Sean Tucker
Designated Weapon: Machete
Conclusion: Big brother really is always watching. M08 will be an easy out for someone a little more committed to what America really is.

    M09: Harris Von Allen
M09: Harris Von Allen
Designated Weapon: Nightstick
Conclusion: We could use more like M09. His patriotism shows that he will be willing to fight as is his American duty. As such, odds are that he will go far.

    M10: John Ferrara
M10: John Ferrara
Designated Weapon: Banjo w/eagle logo
Conclusion: Just as all other minorities or perceived minorities, M10 will be one of the first targeted, and his weapon does little to overcome this fact.

    M11: Alex Thornton
M11: Alex Thornton
Designated Weapon: Length of Chain (1.5m, heavy links)
Conclusion: *This field has been left blank.*

  • Accidental Murder: Luke Mendoza calls out to Alex, trying to get his attention. When that fails, he fires a shot, hoping to scare Alex off, but miscalculates and instead fatally shoots him in the chest.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Alex is noted in his profile to be a constant joker who is so deadpan that it's very difficult for others to tell if he's being serious or not, to the point that this is listed as a potential disadvantage for him in the game.
  • I Just Shot Marvin in the Face: Alex dies because Luke Mendoza plays it loose with gun safety rules, forgetting that one should never point a loaded gun at anything they don't want dead.
  • Informed Attribute: While it's not too uncommon for this to crop up in characters, especially early outs, Alex stands out because most of his characterization is this—despite having a detailed family history and personality in his profile, he lives only two posts in the game, uttering two words before being gunned down.
  • The Stoner: Alex has a tendency to celebrate his successes by getting high... even when the success in question is decidedly minor.

    M12: Henry Barren
M12: Henry Barren
Designated Weapon: A Brick
Conclusion: Such a 'free spirit' would have fared better with a firearm, however M12 seems to be a bit of a wild card with his draw.

    M13: Jethro Stuarts
M13: Jethro Stuarts
Designated Weapon: Grendel R31
Conclusion: One of our few Femme Fatales will probably come along and collect that weapon from him, leaving him one of the deceased relatively quickly.

    M14: Kyle McMann
M14: Kyle McMann
Designated Weapon: Handcuffs
Conclusion: A relatively average student with a below average pull. That places him easily in the last half of the pack.

    M15: Damon Gent
M15: Damon Gent
Designated Weapon: Stoner 63
Conclusion: Intelligent and Manipulative with one of the best intimidating factors on The Program, the Stoner 63. M15 stands a considerable chance, assuming he can survive the elements.

    M16: Luke Mendoza
M16: Luke Mendoza
Designated Weapon: Heritage .45 Rough Rider revolver
Conclusion: M16 has a very good draw for his weapon, however his lack of confidence around females will very likely mean that it won't be put to it's full use.

    M17: Matthew Payne
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/m17_matthew_payne.jpg
M17: Matthew Payne
Designated Weapon: Lock-Picking Kit
Conclusion: Not so much a weapon as utility. M17 will probably be one of the first to go after the minorities, due to the incredible amount of enemies he may have.

    M18: Johan Luther
M18: Johan Luther
Designated Weapon: Sports Javelin
Conclusion: Again, a wild card. M18 could go either way, becoming quite the contender, or rolling over and dying. Only time will tell however.

    M19: Matthew Gourley
M19: Matthew Gourley
Designated Weapon: Calico Liberty III
Conclusion: That very powerful weapon may just give M19 the confidence he needs to make it in The Program. I can definitely forsee him making his way into the top quarter of the pack.

    M20: Alex Tartaglia
M20: Alex Tartaglia
Designated Weapon: Spiked Knuckle Dusters
Conclusion: His weapon matches his build, but M20's personality and aversion to killing may be one that spells his early downfall.

    M21: Brett Torres
M21: Brett Torres
Designated Weapon: Raven Arms MP-25
Conclusion: Nationalist with a Gun. The entire point of the program, to seperate the weak from the strong. M21 embodies America, and his draw makes it possible for him to prove it. One of my selections for top four.

    M22: Michael Sekoler
M22: Michael Sekoler
Designated Weapon: Double Barreled Shotgun
Conclusion: M22 has a chance of making it if his paranoia translates into a twitchy trigger finger. Probably won't make it the distance, but will probably make it into the top half of contestants.

  • Gosh Dang It to Heck!: Doesn't swear, and has many... Interesting alternatives.
Michael Sekoler: “HOLY POPSICLE STICKS ON A SIDEWAYS SUNDAY!”
  • Lovable Nerd: Is an awkward, nerdy mess with many colorful alternatives to expletives.
  • Nervous Wreck: Alex has a tendency to celebrate his successes by getting high... even when the success in question is decidedly minor.
  • Shovel Strike: Gets clobbered to death with a shovel by Bryant Carver.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Dies during his second appearance.
    M23: William Chandler
M23: William Chandler
Designated Weapon: TEC-9
Conclusion: That TEC-9 will end up in the hands of someone who can use it properly and without hesitation very fast.

    M24: Bryant Carver
M24: Bryant Carver
Designated Weapon: Shovel
Conclusion: M24 may be strong, but that won't save him from being an early target. He may as well start digging his own grave now.

    M25: DATABASE ERROR
FILE CORRUPTED. PLEASE CONTACT AN ADMINISTRATOR FOR DETAILS.

  • Dummied Out: Presumably, the spot for M25 was originally assigned to some student who did not show up on Announcement Day; His spot is now filled by a blank thread marked as an error.

    M26: Jerry Aarons
M26: Jerry Aarons
Designated Weapon: Ornate Comb
Conclusion: Well, even with the awful weapon, M26 has a shot. It will all depend on his early game performance; if he can actually get himself established, he may carry things, but the odds favor his better-equipped peers.

    M27: Tyler Blake
M27: Tyler Blake
Designated Weapon: A Book of Patriotic Songs and Poems
Conclusion: A complete write off. He lacks a winner's attitude, and lacks a good weapon to equalize that disadvantage. he will likely be quickly betrayed and killed.

  • All-American Face / The All-American Boy: Deconstructed. Tyler plays the All-American and the Face parts straight, and then his narrative examines what that means in The Program's America. His kind heart and lack of malice or ruthlessness become liabilities, the game's evils break his spirit, and he ultimately dies for his ideals at the hands of the regime of a country he should supposedly represent.
  • Character Death: He is shot dead by a military sniper for speaking out against the government's militaristic and prejudiced ideology.
  • Classified Information: Tyler's postgame evaluation on the wiki, normally a brief summary of a character's impact/assessment of their game, simply reads CLASSIFIED.
  • Wrestler in All of Us: Downplayed, since Tyler is an amateur wrestler at a high school level, but killing somebody with a suplex is certainly a SOTF first.

    M28: Christ Mitchell
M28: Christ Mitchell
Designated Weapon: Steel pipe
Conclusion: Poor physical condition will doom M28, given his draw. While he may stick around for a bit, given his other skills, he won't be one of the top contenders.

    M29: Vaughn Pearson
M29: Vaughn Pearson
Designated Weapon Utility knife
Conclusion: As long as M29 can keep from focusing on just his girl and get his hands on a good weapon, he stands a good chance of coming out on top.

Female Students

    F01: Sherilyn Schachter
F01: Sherilyn Schachter
Designated Weapon: Louisville Slugger
Conclusion: The stamina gives her an edge with that weapon that most kids wouldn't have. She may have a fighting chance, but I sincerely doubt she'll come out on top with her lack of fighting experience.

    F02: Kami Steele
F02: Kami Steele
Designated Weapon: Colt 1911
Conclusion: F02's lack of an attention span will probably spell the death of her. Hopefully someone will come by and put that beautiful weapon to better use.

    F03: Chanel Martin
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/f3_chanel_martin.jpg
F03: Chanel Martin
Designated Weapon: Box of Vicodin
Conclusion: All that those pills will accomplish is to delay the inevitable when a 'friend' turns on her for the good of their country.

    F04: Siobhan McCarthy
F04: Siobhan McCarthy
Designated Weapon: Pool Cue
Conclusion: A large, out of shape girl with a melee weapon. Unless her lover provides her with something a little more substantial and less strenuous, I don't see F04 lasting for too long, even with her little bodyguard there.

    F05: Melinda Schenn
F05: Melinda Schenn
Designated Weapon: Red Ryder BB Gun
Conclusion: Assuming that F05 can get that first kill with such a poor draw, her stamina and speed will take her far in this game. Perhaps the accuracy of her shots on the ice will translate to accuracy with a gun on some level.

    F06: Sophie Mason
F06: Sophie Mason
Designated Weapon: Crowbar
Conclusion: Well, this one may stand a bit of a chance. Her weapon is at least decent, and she has an ally in F10, if they can meet up. However, the potential for betrayal may well tear them both apart. Her sister probably has the better chance, in the long run.

    F07: Rena Bellaire
F07: Rena Bellaire
Designated Weapon: Steel Lockbox (Contains Dan Wesson M1911 Razorback)
Conclusion: If she's able to figure out a way to get that lockbox open, F07 has a very nice draw. However I see a betrayal coming in to play somewhere along the line. We'll see just how good she really is at thinking on her feet.

    F08: Ryan Montoya
F08: Ryan Montoya
Designated Weapon: A Cardboard Box
Conclusion: The one who doesn't get a weapon is the one who doesn't need it. For the fact that she both has paranoia and martial arts experience, F08 may end up vying for the top spot if she can be intelligent around guns.

    F09: Nichole Campbell
F09: Nichole Campbell
Designated Weapon: 6 Pack of Beer
Conclusion: I foresee F09 being easily exterminated early on in the game. She seems to have very few skills which will translate well to the program, and her poor physical condition will likely result in her down fall.

    F10: Stephanie Mason
F10: Stephanie Mason
Designated Weapon: Remington 870
Conclusion: I sincerely doubt that F10 will be able to handle the kick coming from the weapon she has been issued. Likely someone will manipulate her for her survival knowledge, and finish her off at the most opportune moment.

    F11: Marilyn Williams
F11: Marilyn Williams
Designated Weapon: Hi-Point Model JHP
Conclusion: If she can find the motivation to fight, she may have a chance at winning fueled on by her desire for revenge. If she wins, she may garner some respect. If she doesn't, one less of her kind in our borders.

    F12: Joanne Seguin
F12: Joanne Seguin
Designated Weapon: Fire Axe
Conclusion: If it weren't for the narcolepsy, F12 would stand a solid chance. However as it stands, she will probably fall asleep and be eliminated by someone looking for easy prey.

    F13: Jennifer Steinman
F13: Jennifer Steinman
Designated Weapon: K-BAR Knife
Conclusion: All I can see coming from F13 is drama in the long run.

    F14: Sydney Cole
F14: Sydney Cole
Designated Weapon: Stiff Wire Brush
Conclusion: F14 will probably be another student who is easily used by one of her smarter or more devious peers. Either that or she won't be able to handle the pressure of The Program, and will lash out in violence.

    F15: Jessica Vogel
F15: Jessica Vogel
Designated Weapon: Field Rations
Conclusion: The rations go well to compliment her self sufficiency. However, unless she obtains a real weapon quick, odds are that F15 won't be victorious.

    F16: Kendra Jones
F16: Kendra Jones
Designated Weapon: Hand Grenade
Conclusion: Assuming that F16 doesn't upset the wrong person, her draw may let her go quite far.

    F17: Juliet Watanabe
F17: Juliet Watanabe
Designated Weapon: Le Mat Revolver
Conclusion: There is a possibility that F17 may be another of those 'revolutionaries' we see on The Program every so often. They never succeed.

  • Character Death: Shot by Marilyn Williams after getting critically injured by Brett Torres.
  • Enemy Mine: Ends up in an uneasy partnership with Karl Chalmers despite their political differencies.

    F18: Wendy Fischer
F18: Wendy Fischer
Designated Weapon: Weighted Glove
Conclusion: F18 may not even be able to lift that weapon she drew, let alone be effective with it. That and her compassionate streak, odds are that she will be yet another stepping stone for someone a little more ruthless.

    F19: Logan Sorenson
F19: Logan Sorenson
Designated Weapon: Hatchet
Conclusion: Daughter of a Colonel, Physically Fit. Even though she doesn't quite enjoy the idea of fighting, she may get a feeling that the torch has been passed. Definitely a contender.

  • Character Death: Bleeds to death in Luke Mendoza's arms after being shot by Stephanie Mason.
  • Hates Their Parent: Resents her father for her treatment as a child, even going as far as to use her last words to insult him.

    F20: Megan Jacobson
F20: Megan Jacobson
Designated Weapon: Football Helmet
Conclusion: Her draw does her little good, and she has very little inherent advantage. F20 will probably be one of the first to fall.

    F21: Corrina Landrey
F21: Corrina Landrey
Designated Weapon: Riot Shield
Conclusion: Manipulation only gets one so far in life, and in The Program. F21 may have a chance, albeit slim.

    F22: Claire Heartland
F22: Claire Heartland
Designated Weapon: Ruger Mark III
Conclusion: If she can avoid being manipulated herself, her studying of past versions of the program and her draw may be the winning combination.

    F23: Abby Erickson
F23: Abby Erickson
Desginated Weapon: Claw Hammer
Conclusion: Useless, and a massive target. Zero chance of victory.

  • Character Death: Pulled out of her hiding place by her hair and shot by Madeline Harris.

    F24: Allison Greene
F24: Allison Greene
Designated Weapon Action Figure of a Soldier
Conclusion: Almost a shame, someone with her skills receiving such a poor weapon. F24 needs something slightly more substantial if she wants any hope.

    F25: Priscilla Sawyer
F25: Priscilla Sawyer
Designated Weapon: Bike Lock
Conclusion: F025 might have been a threat, if she'd actually had a decent pull. Now, though, she seems likely to panic and become an early out. That fear will really get in the way of her acquiring anything truly useful.

     F26: Madeline Harris
F26: Madeline Harris
Designated Weapon: Kahr K9
Conclusion: An artist is not a fighter, but that gun in F26's hands may give her a brush she can use to make a different kind of art.
