    Sunny Day
Actor: Lilla Crawford

Tropes:

  • Blue Is Heroic: She wears a blue shirt and blue tights.
  • Catchphrase: Quite a few:
    • "Have a sunny day!" - Said whenever someone leaves the salon following an appointment with her.
    • "Ready...set...gear up and go!" - Said prior to leaving in the Glam Van, with Doodle, Rox and Blair joining in on the end.
    • "This is one for the Style Files!" - Said when snapping a photo of someone in the episode's featured hairstyle.
    • "Never say never!" - Normally said to encourage her friends to not give up.
  • Brought to You by the Letter "S": Her apron has a bow with her signature "S" in the middle.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Sunny has blond hair, and is willing to help others no matter what.
  • Hidden Depths: Sunny is well versed in the art of lockpicking, to the point where she knows how to unlock any door without having the key. Her greatest demonstration of this talent was standing with her back to a locked cabinet and opening it with a hairpin one handed.

    Rox
Actor: Élan Luz Rivera

Tropes:

  • Big Eater: Whenever Rox is in proximity to cakes, she will immediately express her intent to eat them, even if she should not. It appears she can't go for more then an hour without needing to eat something.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Tomboy to Blair's Girly Girl.
  • Tomboy with a Girly Streak: Rox is shown to like skateboarding, and is a big eater. She also works at the hair salon and likes watching ballet.

    Blair
Actor: Taylor Louderman

Tropes:

  • Neat Freak: Blair insists on organizing everything in the salon, arranging cosmetic supplies by a color chart and insists on everything being tidy/stored away properly.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Girly Girl to Rox's Tomboy.

    Doodle
Actor: Rob Morrison

Tropes:

    Timmy
Actor: Kevin Duda

Tropes:

    Lacey
Actor: Sarah Stiles

Tropes:

  • Crocodile Tears: When Lacey thinks she'll be inconvenienced by an event or problem, she'll immediately start sobbing and playing on the sympathies of others. As soon as those people assure her they're not being judgemental, Lacey immediately goes back to being confident and upbeat.
  • Dick Dastardly Stops to Cheat: Whenever she competes against others in competitions, her first thought is to do something to her opponents to make them look bad or ruin their performance/entry. Lampshaded by KC in one episode where she points out if Lacey was actually to put effort into her own performance instead of sabotaging the other competitors, she might stand a better chance of winning fairly.
  • Hidden Depths: Lacey is exceedingly good at fixing anything, from plumbing problems, to broken windows and automobile breakdowns. According to KC, Lacey performs all their home repairs personally.
  • Karma Houdini: Lacey receives almost no punishments for attempting to outshine Sunny. Especially in "Band Together" when she steals Doodle's drum kit and the girls never found out she was the one behind such.
  • Promotion to Opening Titles: Since “Pet Parlor”, she is added to the theme song.
  • Sibling Yin-Yang: She's bossy, and self-centered, compared to her nicer sister Cindy.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: Spends a lot of her effort in competing with Sunny to prove she's better then her rival.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Girly Girl to Cindy's Tomboy.

    KC
Actor: Melissa van der Schyff

Tropes:

    Secondary Characters

Cindy

Actor: Melissa van der Schyff

Tropes:

  • The Klutz: Is often prone to accidentally dropping anything she is holding, which turns out to be bad when it's a freshly made cake or delicate dessert.
  • Sibling Yin-Yang: Unlike her snobbish sister Lacey, she's kinder and more supportive.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Tomboy to Lacey's Girly Girl.

Scratch

Actor: Josh Ruben

Tropes:

  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Despite his insistence on performing his dogcatching duties obsessively, Scratch is not actually a bad person. It comes as a big surprise that Scratch actually has a pet puppy.
