    Jasper
Voiced by: Kimberly Brooks
  • Adaptational Heroism: Unlike in canon, Jasper finally does something honorable that makes it clear that she is no longer the Sociopathic Soldier she was in the past. All it took was someone to insult her idol right to her face.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Gets a few more Pet the Dog moments than in canon, and later a proper redemption arc.
  • Anti-Hero: She becomes one after she decides to become an ally of the Crystal Gems. However, she still hasn't completely forgiven them for all they have done to her.
  • Broken Pedestal: She becomes one to Eyeball and is greatly upset that Jasper would rather work with the people who ruined her life, then she would be of trying to restore Homeworld to its former glory and punish the Crystal gems for all of the crimes they have committed.
  • Cynic–Idealist Duo: She is the cynic of White Topaz's idealist.
  • Embarrassing Hobby: "Two Sides of the Same Gem" reveals that Jasper is a secret fan of Asian drama shows.
  • Good Is Not Nice: She is just as nice towards everyone in Little Homeworld as she was when she exiled herself outside the city limits.
  • Heel Realization: Jasper's final moments before getting shattered are written this way, with her final thoughts being My God, What Have I Done?.
  • I Work Alone: Jasper insists she fights Black Rutile alone in "Love like You". While she does do pretty good at first, ultimately it's working with White Topaz that allows Jasper to win.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Jasper's last thoughts before being shattered in "Fragments" are this.
"And for the first time in what felt like ages, as the spiked shield rocketed towards her, Jasper felt one emotion that she barely showed to anyone else. Pure, unadulterated terror. What had she done?"
  • Reformed, but Not Tamed: Despite being properly redeemed, she still harbors some resentment toward the Crystal Gems. Especially towards Garnet, Lapis, Amethyst, and Steven.
  • Ship Tease: Jasper and White Topaz become each other's first true friends in "Be-All, Cure-All", but it's also implied there might be something more.
  • Socially Awkward Hero: Or anti-hero in this case. Because Jasper spent most of her existence training, fighting, and scheming, she is excellent when it comes to combat but terrible at socializing with others.
  • Starter Villain: Just like in the original source, Jasper is the first antagonist introduced into the story.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: She and Lapis are at each other's throats for most of "A Fusion Too Far" because of their bad past together.
    Desert Glass
Voiced by: Gal Gadot
  • Adaptational Heroism: In the original work, she is a member of the Crystal Gems and is willing to be a part of Little Homeworld with no hostility whatsoever. The revamp though...
  • Adaptational Personality Change: In the original, she is a relaxed, silly, and kind Mellow Fellow who is a member of the Crystal Gems. In the revamp, however, she is a bossy, arrogant, and ruthless Nepharious Pharaoh who sees the Crystal Gems as her enemies since they had stripped away her status and indirectly served as the reason for her imprisonment.
  • Adaptational Villainy: It was confirmed by the author for the revamp of the series that Desert Glass will not only appear much earlier in the series, but she will also be an antagonist as well.
  • A Handful for an Eye: She will often throw sand in a person's face when they have ticked her off.
  • Ancient Astronauts: More so than the other gems. She actually helped ancient humans construct their pyramids. And this resulted in them praising her as a deity, which had a very bad influence on her.
  • Cool Crown: She wears an Egyptian-like circlet that has a diamond-shaped prong in the middle.
  • Deadly Dust Storm: She has the power to summon a raging sandstorm that can devastate the surroundings and lift anyone off their feet.
  • Drunk with Power: Being worshipped as a god by humans will do this to anyone. In fact, this is the very reason why she was punished in the first place.
  • Elemental Rivalry: Due to the nature of their powers, it doesn't come as a surprise that Lapis and Desert don't get along.
  • Elemental Shapeshifting: She can surround parts of her body with sand and can use them to create various weapons and tools. The one she often uses the most is simply an enlarged hand.
  • Eye of Horus Means Egypt: Played with. She has Facial Markings in the form of two black lines under each of her eyes that make them resemble the eyes of Horus, which fits well with the Egyptian theme. But, just like Spinel, they aren't markings, but ''tear stains'', clearly showing how mentally broken she is after being imprisoned in a pillow for nearly five millennia.
  • Glass Cannon: With a name like Desert Glass, it isn't a surprise she is very powerful but very frail. In a flashback, it was shown that she was poofed with one good punch to the chest.
  • Go Mad from the Isolation: Implied in the original, but far more noticeable in the revamp. [[Spoiler: She is far less graceful than she was before as being trapped in an object can make a gem become less and less lively. She laughed crazily upon being released and snapped at the slightest sign of hostility. She even mumbles to herself at the slightest thought of self-doubt.]]
  • Not Quite Flight: She can fly by surrounding her legs with a dust devil. It often makes her look like she has the tail of a genie.
  • Our Monsters Arent Like That: When the Crystal Gems first found her, they presumed that Desert Glass was corrupted like all the others. It turns out that she wasn't, apparently, a gem can only be corrupted if their physical form is exposed to the light. This explains why she has no visible corruption scarring on her form.
  • Sand Blaster: Her primary ability. She can manipulate large amounts of sand and bend it to her will. She used her powers to lay out the blueprints of important gem structures that she designed herself. She also created fortresses to secure the armies of Homeworld.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: Unlike Lapis who was imprisoned because she was mistaken for being a rebel, Desert Glass was imprisoned as punishment for trying to usurp Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond and take over the Earth.
  • Sentient Sands: Parodied. While her form is made of light just like any other gem. She can encase her body in a layer of sand that acts as natural regenerative armor.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: Despite being a Glass, she often acts like she is made of a tougher substance. She sees herself as Homeworld's greatest architect, and she did not react well to learning that barely anyone was aware of her being left behind on Earth.
  • The Rival: To Lapis Lazuli. It's much worse in the revamp as she apparently doesn't like Lapis Lazulis in general since one of them accidentally ruined a palace she create that took a very long time to create and believes that the only things they can create are pure destruction.
  • Ungrateful Bitch: Defied in the original, but played straight in the revamp. Although, it is averted at first as she is very happy to be freed. However, it's averted yet again once she realizes how much gem society has changed, she becomes furious at what has happened as she has essentially become forgotten since her abandonment and has since decided to let her anger out on Little Homeworld and Beach City by wanting to level them to the ground and build them back up in her own image.
    Satin Spar
Voiced by: Kathleen Barr
  • Adaptational Name Change: She was originally called Ablite in End of an Era, but now she is referred as Satin Spar. The author of the revamp says this name just fitted her better.
  • Anime Hair: Her white hair is pointed and resembles star shaped flower.
  • Arch-Enemy: She served as one to Rose Quartz during the Gem War.
  • Canon Character All Along: Remember those murals from the inverted pyramid dedicated to a mysterious spikey-haired gem? Yeah, that's her.
  • Canon Foreigner: She serves as the replacement for Albite in the role of being the gem imprisoned within the obelisk.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: She is just as crazy and delusional as the diamond she worships.
  • Detachment Combat: Most gems will often poof if they are dismembered, but not her. A unique ability that Satin Spar has is that she can detach her limbs and use them to strike her foes at various angles. This will almost always take them off guard for obvious reasons.
  • Floating Limbs: While she doesn't do it often, she has the power to detach her limbs in order to help make it easier to accomplish certain tasks.
  • High Priest: She acted as one for White Diamond during the days of the first era. She just loves to enlighten her lesser gem colleagues.
  • Light 'em Up: She is able to shoot energy projectiles from either her physical form or the tiny floating pyramids that she can summon.
  • Light Is Not Good: She has a mostly white color scheme but is just as ruthless as her Diamond.
  • Greyscale of Evil: She is not just white, but also has some grey and a little bit of black inher design as well.
  • Monster Fangirl: Of White Diamond and the other Diamonds. But while all gems praise the diamonds as flawless beings, she takes it to the extreme.
  • Mythical Motifs: Her design definitely takes some inspiration from the African and Hindu cultures judging by her bizarre clothing and strange markings.
  • Our Monsters Arent Like That: Just like Desert Glass, the pyramid she created was actually used to protect from anyone who could harm her gem, even the diamonds. She, unfortunately, learns that the diamond's blast prevented her from reverting back to normal, and she was trapped in the pyramid for what would have been an eternity.
  • Power Floats: She is able to levitate and hover in place.
  • The Power of Creation: She is able to create various structures and traps out of solid light that is then solidified by using the surrounding sediments. This explains why some of the pyramid remained intact after she was captured.
  • Professional Butt-Kisser: You think Holly and Zircon were bad about praising the diamonds? Satin Spar is much, 'much', worse.
  • Sycophantic Servant: She admires the diamonds so much that all she does is shower them with praise and admiration. This, of course, annoys everyone around her be they friends or foes.
  • Trap Master: One of her main purposes was to booby trap areas that contained very valuable artifacts.
  • White Hair, Black Heart: She has albino hair with a heart of darkness just like White Diamond before her Heel–Face Turn.
    Dumortierite
Voiced by: Sarah Jessica Parker (original) Jessica Tang (revamped)
  • All the Other Reindeer: This is why she was so hostile, to begin with. On Homeworld, she would always try to interact with other gems, but she would always end up driving them away. Constantly being rejected and chased out of various towns caused her to just snap.
  • Creepy Blue Eyes: She has cerulean eyes that have a light glow to them.
  • Creepy Cute: She is somehow both adorable, and terrifying.
  • Creepy High-Pitched Voice: She talks like a sickly child, even though she resembles a young woman.
  • Cute Ghost Girl: While not exactly a ghost, she does indeed have an adorable face hidden behind all that hair.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Despite her dark and gloomy appearance, she is Not Evil, Just Misunderstood.
  • Decomposite Character: Can be seen as one as she is the lighthouse monster instead of being a White Topaz.
  • Ghostly Wail: When she is frightened, upset, or enraged, she will let out a bloodcurdling scream that is able to strike fear into the hearts of anyone that hears them.
  • In-Series Nickname: She is often referred to as Morty for short.
  • Intangible Man: She is able to decrease the mass of her hard light body, allowing her to effectively phase through any solid surface.
  • Poltergeist: She definitely has the powers of one. She can posse objects and make them become animate. She often uses this power to frighten those she may consider a threat.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: According to her, when she saw the Diamonds she decided to flee and get as far away from them as possible.
  • Shy Blue-Haired Girl: She has a feminine build, dark blue hair, and is extremely aloof.
  • Stringy-Haired Ghost Girl: She definitely resembles one. Although, instead of having Raven Hair, Ivory Skin, she has navy blue hair with pale blue skin.
  • Volcanic Veins: When she is enraged, glowing red veins will start to appear all over her body.
    Lonely Pearl
Voiced by: Deedee Magno-Hall
  • Shrinking Violet: She is far less social then most Pearls. But considering her history, it makes sense.
  • Winged Humanoid: As a form of corruption scarring, she now has a pair of moth wings on her back. Surprisingly, she can actually fly with them, but as expected, she isn't very good at it.
    Fable
Voiced by: Nika Futterman
  • Adaptational Species Change: While it was never truly known if she was a gem or not. The series confirms that she is actually a gem that was imprisoned within a book.
