Commanders:

    Obi-Wan Kenobi - Civilized Warrior
A legendary Jedi Master. He is depicted using his appearance from The Clone Wars.

Clone Captain Rex - Honorable Soldier
A distinguished Clone Trooper known for his unorthodox tactics.
  • Custom Uniform: His model comes with the option to go helmet-less, or with his Phase I or Phase II helmet.
  • The Gunslinger: Wields a pair of blasters, and thanks to the Gunslinger keyword can attack two units in one attack action.
  • Jet Pack: Can use the ARC Troopers' JT-12 Jetpack, and gets a discount on the cost of that upgrade.
  • Support Party Member: Many of his abilities are designed to enhance the abilities of other Clones. "Scouting Party" allows him to apply his "Scout" value to two other trooper units, while "Tactical 1" gives him an aim token for moving, which he can share with other Clone Troopers thanks to their innate ability. His command cards also offer abilities such as allowing Rex to use Fire Support an unlimited number of times in a single turn (as well as the ability to help allies in melee), the ability to increase the range of allies' weapons, and the ability to give himself the suppression-removing "Inspire 2" ability along with 2 Surge tokens he can once again share among Clone Troopers.

Anakin Skywalker - The Chosen One

  • Ambiguously Evil: This depiction of Anakin is primarily based on his Revenge of the Sith portrayal, where he hasn't yet fallen to the Dark Side, but is vulnerable to doing so. He has the unique trait of being able to equip both Light Side and Dark Side force powers to reflect this.
  • Fatal Flaw: Deploying him grants his opponent the flaw card "Not A Story The Jedi Would Tell", which can be played during the command phase to prevent a suppressed Anakin from being issued an order.
  • Gathering Steam: He starts out as a relatively cheap unit by Jedi commander standards (160 points), but has the ability to gain new keywords through each of his command cards, ultimately becoming outstanding value for points cost by the time he uses all three of his commands. However...
    • Power at a Price: Each command card also grants a permanent negative trait, representing him being lured to the dark side.
  • Meme Acknowledgement: His title brings to mind Obi-Wan's "You were the chosen one!" outburst. In addition, two of his command cards are named "This Is Where The Fun Begins" and "You Underestimate My Power".

Clone Commander - Trained For Leadership

  • Mythology Gag: One of the pose options is the Clone Commander receiving orders from a handheld holoprojector, a clear nod to how Commander Cody received Order 66 in Revenge of the Sith.

Yoda - Grand Master of the Jedi Order
A legendary Jedi Master. He is depicted using his appearance from The Clone Wars.
  • Mighty Glacier: Thanks to Yoda's old age, he is slow. But he is also a powerful all-rounder Jedi with incredible defensive stats, solid attacks and good support abilities. He is also one of the few Jedi characters with a built-in ranged attack (Force Wave), which helps counterbalance his slow speed and also fills in one of the Jedi's main weaknesses.

    Wookiee Chieftain

Operatives:

     Padmé Amidala - Spirited Senator
One of the few idealistic members of the Republic Senate, Padmé Amidala is able to take the fight for freedom to the battlefield if necessary.

Corps:

    Phase I Clone Troopers
The Clone Troopers are mass produced soldiers genetically engineered for battle, equipped with the Phase I armor that saw use in the early stages of the Clone Wars. Clone Troopers have the ability to use the aim, dodge and surge tokens of other nearby Clones, which the Phase I troopers can complement with the ability to contribute to the attack pools of allied units. The Phase I troopers cost 52 points for a 4-man squad, and can be supplemented with a Z-6 blaster for inaccurate high volume firepower, or a DC-15 rifle for precise long-range capability.

Their upgrade expansion grants them additional heavy weapons in the form of the RPS-6 rocket launcher for anti-vehicle firepower, and the DP-23 blaster for a short-range piercing attack.

  • Close-Range Combatant: With the DP-23.
  • Critical Hit Class: If they take the Z-6.
  • Custom Uniform: Their default looks all feature identical sets of armor, but the upgrade expansion grants a set of models with more personal touches, including some helmet-less troopers, capes and rangefinders.

    Phase II Clone Troopers
During the later stages of the Clone Wars, Clone Troopers were equipped with the improved Phase II armor, which not only increased their effectiveness but was often individually tailored to the trooper's needs and taste. Their heavy weapon choices are either the Z-6 blaster, or a mortar launcher.
  • Critical Hit Class: Again, the Z-6. Thanks to the Reliable keyword giving them a free Surge token upon activating, their Z-6 is a little more reliable than their Phase I or Rebel counterparts.
  • Custom Uniform: In a nod to their source material, these Clone Troopers come with a greater number of customisation options compared to their predecessors, including the option to have the squad leader and Z-6 user deploy without their helmets. And since they come unpainted, you are free to do them up in whatever paint scheme you desire.

Special Forces:

    ARC Troopers
Advanced Recon Commandos represent a select few Clones chosen for their skill and valor in battle. They are given expert training and experimental equipment, and sent on the Republic's most dangerous missions.

They can be deployed as either a full squad, or as a two-man strike team.

  • Continuity Cameo: Fives and Echo, a pair of Clone Troopers who made their debut in the episode "Rookies" before going on to become recurring characters, are available as named heavy weapon upgrades for ARC Troopers.
  • Guns Akimbo: Can equip a pair of DC-15 Hand Blasters for close-range combat.
  • Jet Pack: The JT-12 Jetpack is available as an upgrade, and can also be given to Captain Rex.
  • Mythology Gag: In canon, it was common for ARC Troopers to be embedded into squads of regular Clone Troopers to act as leadership and to raise morale. In Legion, that is reflected by the ability to add Fives and Echo to any squad that accepts heavy weapon upgrades.

    Wookiee Warriors
Before the rise of the Empire, the Wookiees were among the Republic's closest allies, and often worked alongside each other in defence of Kashyyyk.

Support:

    BARC Speeder

    AT-RT
A Chicken Walker built for versatility, the Republic AT-RT is similar to the later Rebel version, but possesses some key differences that reflects the training of its pilot.
  • Close-Range Combatant: Just like the Rebel variant, can be equipped with a Flamethrower, and also comes with its deceptively powerful Grappling Claws by default.
  • Fixed Forward-Facing Weapon: Its hardpoint weapons.
  • Glass Cannon: But has a surge to defence, making it a little more resilient than the Rebel version.

Heavy:

    TX- 130 Saber-Class Fighter Tank
The Saber-Class Fighter Tank represents an attempt by the Republic's engineers to apply starfighter technology to a ground assault vehicle.
  • Continuity Cameo: Plo Koon and Aayla Secura are available as pilots for the Saber.
  • Lightning Bruiser: Thanks to its large size, speed and manoeuvrability, it can cross the battlefield very quickly.

    LAAT/le Patrol Transport
Before being adopted by the Empire as an air support unit, the LAAT/le was developed by the Republic to help police their mega-cities.

    Raddaugh Gnasp Fluttercraft
A flying craft designed and built by Wookiees which saw heavy use during the battles on Kashyyyk.

    Infantry Support Platform

  • Canon Foreigner: The Twin Beam Cannon and Twin Missile Pod upgrades are both original creations for this game.
