Raito Aioi
A student in Class 2A at Verbena Academy.
- Affectionate Nickname: Kohaku calls him "Rai-chan," while Nelia calls him "Rai-sama."
- From Roommates to Romance: He pretty much lives alone with his cousin Kohaku. While it remains an innocent cohabitation in other routes, it becomes this trope if she's the selected love interest.

- Cutting Off the Branches: Princess x Princess has her and Raito as the Official Couple.
- Generation Xerox: Looks incredibly similar to Sia, her great-aunt.
- Harem Seeker: Due to her experience with her father and his polygamy, her "ideal relationship" involves her having a husband with multiple wives.
- Theme Naming: Her basis of her name is derived from "spodumene," a gemstone often containing lithium.
Carnelian

The princess of Demons.
- Childhood Friends: With Lithia.
- Contrasting Sequel Main Character: Nelia fulfills the "demon princess with red eyes and long, blue hair" role that Nerine had, but is extraverted and seductive while Nerine was the shy but devoted type. Nelia also admits to not being very good at studying, another contrast to Nerine.
- Femme Fatale: She clearly wanted to be this, as she entered the story wanting to seduce Raito, the human boy Lithia liked, and then immediately dump him. Needless to say, falling in love with Raito put a damper on that plan.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: She prefers to go by "Nelia," as she feels her full name is too long.
- Theme Naming: Named after the "carnelian" gemstone.
Kirara Kinoshita

- Odd Name Out: She's the only newly introduced character whose name does not directly reference a particular gemstone, instead deriving from "kira kira," the Japanese onomatopoeia for something "shiny."
Kohaku Anjou

Raito's cousin and a third-year in Verbena Academy's drama club.
- Contrasting Sequel Main Character: In theory , she's holds the position Kaede had as the heroine that the protagonist had known for years before the start of the game. In practice, they're polar opposites: Kaede is great at housework and cooking, Kohaku is horrible at both; Kaede wants nothing more than to take care of Rin, Kohaku wants Raito to take care of her.
- From Roommates to Romance: She lives at with Raito at his house. Nothing has happened prior to the games start due to her seeing him as family, but it goes straight into this trope if her route is taken.
- Kissing Cousins: Is a potential love interest despite being related to the protagonists.
- Parental Abandonment: He parents have already passed on, so she lives with her relatives.
- Theme Naming: Her name is derived from the Japanese word for "amber."
Limestone

A mysterious girl lacking in facial expressiveness.
- Expy Coexistence: She's clearly intended to have fill Primula's role, and unlike the other heroines, any differences held between the two are not as immediately obvious.
- Emotionless Girl: As noted above, you'll be hard-pressed to get a decent expression out of her.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: She's mostly referred to as "Limes."
- Theme Naming: She obviously gets her name from "limestone."

Rapisu Amaishi

A second-year at Verbena that Lithia befriended in the library. She have Raito have met each other.
- Theme Naming: Her given name is an obvious reference to the gemstone "lapis lazuli."
Ai Amaishi

A mysterious girl with amnesia that suddenly appeared at Verbena.
- Theme Naming: Her name references "lazulite."
Selena

A first year at Verbena who serves as the Vice-President of the Student Council.
- Number Two: As the Student Council Vice-President, she serves as Torajirou's right-hand woman.
- Theme Naming: Her name references "selenite."
Verbena Academy
Torajirou Jinbo
Voiced by: Atsushi Abe
Verbena's Student Council President and Raito's best friend at school.
- Contrasting Sequel Main Character: Torajirou fulfills the "perverted best friend" role that Itsuki previously held, but while the latter was infamous for his perversion, the former is largely well-respected by his peers as a paragon of common sense, with his true colors being known only by Raito and the teacher.
- Theme Naming: His name is based on the "tiger's eye" gemstone.
Citrin
Kirara's classmate who works several part-time jobs.
- Childhood Friends: With Kirara.
- Theme Naming: Her name comes from the "citron" quartz.
Marin Obsius

Raito's classmate with an impressive amount of information of events happening at the school.
- Contrasting Sequel Main Character: Her heterochromia, half-human status, and role as an informant bring to mind Mayumi. But while Mayumi had a small chest and was a bad student, Marin is buxom and manages to have excellent grades despite sleeping all the time.
- Half-Human Hybrid: She's half-human, half-god.
- Theme Naming: Her name comes from both "aquamarine" and "obsidian."
Menou Ishitake

Raito's homeroom teacher.
- Contrasting Sequel Main Character: Menou is meant to fulfill the "buxom teacher" role Nadeshiko had in the previous titles, but Nadeshiko was tall and strict, while Menou is petite and carefree.
- Theme Naming: Her name comes from the "agate" gemstone.

Kunzite

Lithia's father and the king of Gods.
- Affectionate Nickname: His friend Chalcedony refers to him as "Kun-chan."
- Contrasting Sequel Main Character: He has a similar role as Eustoma as the king of God Realm, and even has similar looks and personality. The difference is that Kunzite is portrayed as an intelligent unlike Eustoma was.
