    Asera

Asera

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/844527014_preview_aserav2.png
Place of origin: Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, South Korea
Livery: White, red

Originally a joint venture between Japanese, Taiwanese, Vietnamese and Korean engineering companies, focusing on terraforming-capable vehicles and then to sub-orbital recognition aircrafts, before later on shifting to anti-gravity racing to decent amounts of success.

  • Glass Cannon: Their ships have the best energy pools in the game, and are backed up by good acceleration and handling. However, they have a low top end speed and are quite fragile.
  • Japan Takes Over the World: Averted. While their team uses Japanese names for their crafts, they are a joint venture between four East Asian countries.

    BURAN

BURAN

Place of origin: Russia
Livery: Red, silver, black

AG racing team BURAN is the new kid on the block. Founded in 2558 by Sveta Savitskaya and Taylor Wang, it inherits the name of the Soviets' infamous attempt to copy the American Space Shuttle.

Buran is only available after buying the Neptune DLC.

  • Glorious Mother Russia: Their aesthetic is heavily influenced by Communist imagery.
  • Lightning Bruiser: High top speed, good durability and a strong albeit slowly-charging energy pool are Buran's name of the game. Don't expect their ships to pull off the line quickly, though.

    Conqueror Technologies

Conqueror Technologies

Place of origin: Moon
Livery: Gold, white, orange

The Conqueror Racing Team was born on the Moon. Created as a bet between two entrepreneurs originally from the US, it entered the Lunar Rally Championship without much hope, but ended up conquering the second overall place. From that point, the company attracted good funding and was able to enter AG racing a few years later. All its ships have always been given a more or less romanticized versions of ancient Indian names, as a good luck charm.

  • Lightning Bruiser: Conqueror's ships are the fastest among all the teams and are pretty durable as well. However, they have mediocre acceleration, poor handling and a quick-charging but weak energy pool.

    ESA-AGR

ESA-AGR

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/844527014_preview_esav2.png
Place of origin: Europe
Livery: Orange, blue

ESA-AGR was born as a branch of the European Space Agency when prototyping high-atmosphere patrol aircraft during the Mars colonization. Its founders helped build the very first AG racing competition, encouraged and financially supported the development of the SRRL from its inception. As a result, the ESA-AGR is the team with the longest and most honored history in AG Racing.

    Koeniggswerth Engineering

Koeniggswerth Engineering

Place of origin: Germany (originally), now Mars
Livery: Green, red, silver

The name Koeniggswerth Engineering is ancient. It originally belonged to a German team, which regularly ran in various touring car competitions on Earth long before the colonisation. It was one of the last teams to disband before the Exodus, when humanity had to flee the Earth. Re-established in year 2450 on terraformed Mars by the great-grandson of the last owner, the team competed without interruption in canonical fourwheeled racing leagues for 22 years before the SRRL was created. Initially reluctant to join anti-gravity racing because of the massive costs involved, the team was able to step up a few years later thanks to substantial investments from a group of former north european and and US energy companies.

  • Germanic Efficiency: Much like ESA-AGR, they are a very well-esteemed team in-universe because of their staff's competence.
  • Mighty Glacier: Koeniggswerth's ships are the most durable of them all, and also have great handling and a solid energy pool. Problem is, they're the slowest ships in the SRRL and it takes quite a bit of time for them to even get there.

    Lunare Scuderia

Lunare Scuderia

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/844527014_preview_lunarev2.png
Place of origin: Italy
Livery: Black, blue

Contemporary racing team started by a group of former Italian engineers, leftovers of every other luxury brand. The team has been steadily working its way up from their initially terrible performance to the middle of the pack, up to the brilliant victory of the 2554-55 season. That victory granted a much needed capital injection and the team was able to rack up more support thanks to commercial and sponsorship, making Lunare Scuderia able to regularly compete at the top of the table.

  • Fragile Speedster: Lunare's ships behave pretty similarly to a supercar: they are fast, quick, and very nimble, despite having poor hull strength and the worst energy pool among all the teams.
  • From Nobody to Nightmare: They went from the SRRL's back-packing team in their early seasons to one of the strongest teams starting with their victory in the 2554-55 season.
  • Skill Gate Characters: Many Redout players usually start off with Lunare thanks to their fantastic handling and acceleration. However, their ships are frequently outclassed in late-game and online play by Sulha and Asera.

    Sulha AG Racing

Sulha AG Racing

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/844527014_preview_shulgav2.png
Place of origin: Israel/Palestine (originally), now Mars/Titan
Livery: Purple, turquoise

Sulha AG Racing was created as a joint-venture between Mars-based and Titan-based engineering companies. The name and the story behind it -with its origins as an Israeli-Palestinian joint venture - represent the intent of uniting different worlds, working together for success. Sulha AG entered the SRRL just a few years ago and grew quickly, becoming one of the top teams and pushing the boundaries of max speed and acceleration.

  • Difficult, but Awesome: Because of their weak structure and awful handling, Sulha's ships are by far the hardest to pilot in the entire game. Most newbies who start off with these ships are better off loading out with a Magnetic Stabilizer and either a Repair Drone or the EPSS to negate their poor handling and to try and remain in one piece. However, a good Sulha pilot can take full advantage of the ships' high top speed, great acceleration and strong energy pool to set record times in almost every track, especially so with the Augmented Propeller and the Turbo Boost.
  • Fragile Speedster/Glass Cannon: Sulha's ships all share a great top speed, coupled up with powerful acceleration and a solid energy pool. However, they are very fragile and have the single worst handling among all the competing teams.
  • Hope Bringer/The Power of Friendship: Their raison d'etre is to unite radically different populations/worlds into working together and forge new friendships.
  • Shout-Out: Two massive engines attached to a small cockpit? No, their ships are totally not podracers...
  • Tim Taylor Technology: The reason they haven't removed everything but the engines yet is because they still need the cockpit.
