In-Game Biography ^{Click to Show}Scarlat Callimachi, the Leading Figure of the Anarchist Movement of Moldova, has only become relevant pretty recently with the chaos caused by the scandal involving Nicolae Cocea. His background as an anarchist revolutionary goes as far back as to 1907, when he first-hand witnessed the Peasant Revolt, which shaped his views for years to come. When the Republic of Moldova was founded, he became an associate of Ilie Cătărău and together they almost managed to overthrow the government, with their plan stopped only by Gherman Pantea's intervention, which led to Cătărău's death and the disappearance of any power they held. This, however, did not stop Scarlat, and for years he has formented the Moldovan authorities, earning him the nicknames of "the Uncapturable". Now he stands at the top, willing to continue what almost came to fruition those long years ago.

In-Game Biography ^{Click to Show}Coming from a long line of Bonaparte nobility, Prince Roland Napoléon Bonaparte of Canino and Musignano has fallen a long way from grace. An intellectual and member of many esteemed and respected societies, he had always been an obvious choice for kingship in Albania, not only due to the prestige of the Bonaparte dynasty and the support of the Entente, but also due to the interest that he himself showed in the different ethnicities that reside in the country. These boons proved worthy in 1918 when he was crowned as Skënderbeu II, but sadly his reign was not to last. Roland was overthrown by the Young Turk Essad Pasha in favour of Fuad I, who was summarily crowned as Skënderbeu III. Now, Roland Bonaparte is currently residing in the Kingdom of Italy, actively campaigning for his return on the Albanian throne, and his rightful spot among the Albanian people.

His participation in the Albanian nationalist resistance against the Ottoman Empire gained him much respect, but during the Hungarian revolution, the Nopcsa Family lands were confiscated leaving him stranded. Now, Nopcsa has become an Albanian celebrity, no small part due his candicacy during the selection of the Albanian King. However after a life-threatening accident, Nopsca now lies in wait, tending to his wounds in Skënderbeu's mansion, his ambition of becoming king temporarily set aside in favor of his old paleontological habits, but if the opportunity arose...

Together with remnants of Balli Kombëtar, Enver Hoxha has defeated the Yugoslav mongrels and secured Albanian independence once more. Now Albania is under the rule not of a foreign monarch, but rather a pious patriot and servant of the greater truth. Hoxha has become the Supreme Leader not only of the Bektashi Order but of all Albanians, establishing the Islamic Republic of Rumelia with himself at the helm. Already, contacts have been established with the friendly Ottoman government, yet the new government knows well that it will not be enough to scare away Yugoslavia. Therefore, Supreme Leader Hoxha has ordered a project of a massive network of forts across the newly created Republic, so any invader shall be unable to put the Albanian people to the blade. Rumelia is united by faith, strength, and by the guidance of the Supreme Leader; ready to bite like a venomous snake anyone who dares to attack.

A drunk professor who publicly accuses Varbanov is immediately shot dead by him.

• Failure Is the Only Option: At the start of the story, Mikhnovski is riding high, having established his party as the masters of Ukraine, dismantling what remains of the democratic system, and marginalizing all of his enemies. But before the year is out, he will be deposed, and everyone he allied with will be dragged down with him.
• Historical Villain Upgrade: In-universe, potentially even before his show trial is complete, Mikhnovski is being used by the new regime as a useful scapegoat for everything wrong with Ukrainian society. While he was hardly a saint, everything isn't his fault either.
• Pragmatic Villainy: While Mikhnovski is a conservative autocrat and anti-Semitic, racist nationalist, he and his party are much more politically-astute than the OUN, whom they regard as useful attack dogs. They clamp down on wild pogroms and other forms of anti-Semitic violence, if only so they can arrange for more-orderly deportations later, and set up social safety nets explicitly inspired by Bismarck's Germany so that they can cut socialism's power off at the knees.
• Small Role, Big Impact: While Mikhnovski isn't in power for long, his tenure has strong implications for Ukraine's future, since whatever factions of the communists and nationalists he allies with will go down in flames with him, setting the stage for the various paths the nation will go down after he's gone.

Symon Petliura

While three terms is not exactly unheard of for a president, some opponents are crying corruption from Petliura and his political allies. Despite this, Petliura is optimistic about his chances of leading Ukraine into a strong and free future.

• A Lighter Shade of Grey: Although Petliura's rule is imperfect and lacking in genuine democratic representation, if he avoids corrupt actions he can still represent one of the better paths for Ukraine by taking care of its people and ensuring their social liberties, if not their political freedom.
• President for Life: Petliura secures power by enshrining the USDRP as the dominant party to safeguard freedom and the rule of law.

Having led the Free Cossack Council and Squads of Ukrainian National Rejuvenation to victory in the first accelerationist elections, Bandera now seeks to fulfill his vision for Ukraine: a revolutionary nationalist, syndicalist nation.

• Cult of Personality: Bandera establishes a cult of personality around himself in schools, entertainment and the workplace. His ethics and virtues should be praised in songs of Kobzars and children should aspire to be like Father Bandera.
• Evil Colonialist: Bandera seeks to build an Ukrainian Empire stretching from Lviv to Harbin, where Ukrainians reign supreme while Pollacks (Poles), Moskals (Russians) and Jews are second-class citizens.
• Maligned Mixed Marriage: Bandera regards miscegenation as a disease that destroys Ukraine from within. Ukrainian men should love only Ukrainian women and nothing more, nothing less.
• Patriotic Fervor: Out of the possible leaders, he is the most nationalistic one.
• Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Bandera believes that Ukrainians need to burn large swathes of Eurasia to exact revenge on Russians, Belarusians, Balts, Turks, Mongols and Poles, who have long used Ukrainians as tools.
• Visionary Villain: Bandera's vision of a Ukrainian Empire that goes as far as Harbin is regarded as absurd and preposterous by most, but as his reunification news lampshades, as dreams can come true so can nightmares, and after he's finally accomplished his conquests, life is nightmarish indeed for all Russians, Poles, and Jews living under the Ukranian heel.
• Young and in Charge: Being born in 1909, Bandera is only 27 years old at game start and Ukraine's youngest possible leader.

• Allohistorical Allusion: The demolition of the Kyiv Cathedral under Kaganovich to make way for the Palace of the Rada to be built mirrors the demolition of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow for the projected construction of the Palace of the Soviets under Stalin in OTL.
• Monumental Damage: Kaganovich demolishes the Kyiv Cathedral, a building consecrated to the bourgeois God of old, to make way for the Palace of the Rada, an administrative centre that would serve as a capitol and proletarian temple.
• Patriotic Fervor: Kaganovich promotes socialism in one country to harness Ukrainian national liberation for socialist ends, letting the Ukrainian at home know they are fighting for the liberation of their brethren, and the Ukrainian abroad know they can join the struggle.
