• Badass Boast
• Beware the Nice Ones: most of these characters aren't mean people in canon, but they sure let loose during these battles.
• Breaking the Fourth Wall: if not utterly demolished, most characters at least leave dents in it. Expect gems like Hermione telling Katniss her series is a rip off of Battle Royale or Mary Poppins flat out telling her opponent she's not real.
• Deadpan Snarker: This is a rap battle, after all.
• Good Versus Good: All the battles, except "Maleficent vs Daenerys", "Freya vs Ravenna" and "Queen of Hearts vs Wicked Witch".
• Hurricane of Puns: and how.
• Take That!
• "The Reason You Suck" Speech: All deliver this to their opponent, albeit in lyric form.

Snow White vs Elsa

• Alpha Bitch: implied.
• Damsel in Distress: used by Elsa to make fun of her.
• Taken for Granite: Elsa freezes her into a solid block of ice.
• Too Dumb to Live: Accused of this by Elsa, on account of having eaten an apple from a stranger.

Elsa

Played by: Katja Glieson

• Girly Bruiser
• Precision F-Strike: In her final line.
  Elsa: You're one ditzy princess; I'm a motherfucking queen. (She freezes Snow White)
• Slut-Shaming: targets Snow with this
  Elsa: and let's get to it, what's up with you and those seven schnooks? (Hi hoe!)

Galadriel vs Leia

Played by: Sara Erikson

• Backhanded Apology: She mockingly references Leia's home planet of Alderaan, then says "Sorry, too soon?"
• Brainwashed: Subverted. Almost gives in (or pretends to) when Leia uses her "Jedi mind tricks", but then snaps right out of it.
• Granola Girl: Leia calls her a "Hippy hobbit humper".
• No-Sell: Leia's Jedi mind trick doesn't work on Galadriel.
• One-Winged Angel: Switches to her "photo negative" version with Voice of the Legion during the words "you will love me and despair".

Princess Leia

Played by: Whitney Avalon

• Brother–Sister Incest: More or less accused of this in Galadriel's final line.
• Girly Bruiser
• Shut Up, Hannibal!: Ends Galadriel's One-Winged Angel moment by firing her blaster past Galadriel's head.
• Warrior Princess: Flaunts having been much more physically active than Galadriel in fighting for the forces of good.
  Leia: When Sauron took over you hid in a tree / I led the Rebel Alliance and we saved the whole galaxy.

Mary Poppins vs Mrs Claus

Played by: Whitney Avalon

• Dehumanizing Insult: Calls Mrs. Claus a "fat cat" and asks how she is at catching mice.
• Fake Brit: Played by Whitney Avalon, who is American.
• Hypocrite: Says that Santa and Mrs. Claus are "not even real", except neither is Mary Poppins.
• I Am Very British
• Pædo Hunt: She makes derogatory comments about Santa spying on minors.
• Slut-Shaming: inverted; she attacks Mrs Claus by calling her frigid.
• Sophisticated as Hell: "Practically perfect people prefer to be polite, but sometimes you just have to say, screw it."
• You Are Fat: "I suspect you should check your cholesterol twice."

Mrs. Claus and Santa

Played by: Alyssa Preston

• Battle Couple: gets her husband to join in with her second verse.
• Double Entendre: Santa brags about his "sack" holding billions of "presents".
• Only One Name: When Bert and Santa appear, the four characters acknowledge one another by their first names, except Mary stumbles, when trying to recall Mrs. Claus's name, suggestively asking "Mrs?", causing Mrs. to hiss at her.
• Overshadowed by Awesome: Mary Poppins calls her "the dependent Claus" because her husband is so much more popular than she is.
• Slut-Shaming: delivers this to Mary Poppins: "The word around town is just a spoonful of sugar gets you to go down!"
• You Are Fat: On the receiving end of this from Mary Poppins.

Cinderella vs Belle

• Alpha Bitch: implied.
• Boastful Rap: Spends even more of her first verse bragging about herself than normal for the series.
• Dumb Blonde: Belle accuses her of being this.
• Happily Married: "Pumpkin carriage, perfect marriage, no one cares who you are!"
• Missing Mom: Used as a particularly harsh Take That! by Belle: "I'm throwing more shade than the willow tree growing on your dead mother's grave!"
• Narcissist: see Badass Boast.
• Rich Bitch

Belle

Played by: Whitney Avalon

• Badass Bookworm
• Hypocrite: Or at least Cindy seems to think so. Points out that while Belle calls her a gold digger, Belle only really fell for the beast after she inherited his library.
• Nerds Are Sexy: Describes herself as "the perfect combination of Brains and Booty."
• Slut-Shaming: Inverted against Cindy: "You say you want to party, next you run off down the halls, It's like you always choke once you make it to the balls."
• Stockholm Syndrome: is accused of suffering from this.

Maleficent vs Daenerys

Maleficent

Played by: Whitney Avalon

• Breath Weapon: "I like your style, kid, but it's time to retire. Spoiler alert: I'm about to spit fire!" Turns into her black dragon form from the cartoon with an Evil Laugh and blasts Daenerys with magical dragonfire, then changes back with a smug look on her face—which becomes an Oh, Crap! look when she sees it only burned most of Daenerys' clothing without harming her body.
• Card-Carrying Villain: "Illinest villainess who's killing this with all the POWERS OF HELL!"
• Does Not Like Men: When Diaval says "Well, all men must die", Maleficent adds "I wish that they would."
• Rhyming List: Delivers one in a rapid-fire manner, including rhymes (or near-rhymes) between: "scary when", "marryin'", "hairy men", "cherry then", "miscarryin'", "Barbarian", "Valyrian", and "Targaryen".
• Slut-Shaming: tells Daenerys "You all show so much ass, it should be called Game of Butts!"
• You Need to Get Laid: Daenerys speculates that her "obsession with fingers and pricks" has something to do with her being sexually frustrated.

Daenerys

Played by: Yvonne Strahovski

• Dysfunctional Family: and much is made of both this and all of the above by her opponent.
• Ethical Slut: "She started from the bottom-" "— now I finish on top".
• Iron Woobie: despite her struggles, Daenerys boasts about "rising from the ashes".
• No-Sell: Maleficent tries to incinerate Daenerys with her dragon breath, only for Daenerys to angrily walk out of the fire unscathed, completetely naked.
  Daenerys: I'm The Mother of Dragons, you can't burn me!
• Trauma Conga Line: Maleficent mercilessly details Daenerys' troubles.
• Try to Fit That on a Business Card: She's Daenerys Stormborn, First of Her Name, but you can call her Khaleesi, the Breaker of Chains!
• Witch with a Capital "B": invokes this trope against Maleficent.

Katniss vs Hermione

• Slut-Shaming: According to Hermione, Katniss "[shares her] bread with Gale, then [stuffs her] mouth with Peeta".
• Witch with a Capital "B": "Who wants to kick this witch's ass? Hmm- I volunteer!"

Hermione Granger

Played by: Molly Quinn

• Actor Allusion: Katniss calls her "the Watson to [Harry Potter's] Sherlock."
• Badass Bookworm: "I bust bars like Haymitch, the smartest witch, I own this bitch!"
• Double Entendre: "You share your bread with Gale, then stuff your mouth with Peeta!"
• Fake Brit: Played by Molly C Quinn, an American actress.
• Hypocrite: She accuses Katniss' story of being plagiarized, describing it as "Battle Royale set in Nineteen Eighty-Four", while ignoring the fact that J. K. Rowling has been accused of ripping off The Worst Witch.
• I Am Very British
• Nice Girl: She didn't actually mean any of the horrible things she said about Katniss and makes it a point to apologize for them after the battle.
• Slut-Shaming: see Double Entendre.

Freya vs Ravenna

• Actor Allusion: "You think you're so slick,/but let me be Blunt"; Avalon even winks as she says the name.
• The All-Solving Hammer: The Huntsman accuses her of trying to solve all her problems with walls of ice, so she summons an ice wall to block him.
• Ambiguously Evil: "I'm twice as nice - maybe ".
• Sibling Rivalry: is battling against her own sister

Ravenna

• Black Widow: "My beauty bewitches, and no king is immune, he falls for me, we marry, and he dies on the honeymoon!"

• The Ace: Using a Long List of occupations: "I'm a chef, guitarist, potter, painter, scholar, singer, dancer".
  • Broken Ace: Anna blows some holes in this boast, however.
• Battle Couple: is rapping with her husband Flynn.
• Double Entendre: Uses the name of one of Anna's songs against her this way.
  Rapunzel: "Looks like any dude will do, when your love's an open door!"
• Girly Bruiser
• Hilariously Abusive Childhood: Anna makes light of Gothel's mistreatment of her quite a lot.
• Meaningful Name: She invokes the fact that the first syllable of her name is "rap".
• Precision F-Strike: "I'll say it twice, you stink on ice, did I mumble motherfucker?"
• Slut-Shaming: see Double Entendre.

Anna

• Battle Couple: is rapping with Kristoff, her love interest.
• Double Entendre: Makes two of them at Rapunzel's expense, one being a "carpet match the drapes" quip regarding her long hair.
• Fun with Homophones: Her final lines: "Won't be coming back for seconds, 'cause Anna wrecks ya!" (i.e. anorexia)
• Girly Bruiser: see Witch with a Capital "B".
• Orphan's Ordeal: Used as a Take That! against her by Rapunzel.
• Prematurely Grey-Haired: Rapunzel implies that the silver streak in Anna's hair is this trope.
• Pronouncing My Name for You: Insists that her name is pronounced "AH-na".
• Too Dumb to Live: Accused of this by Rapunzel on account of having been duped by Hans.
• Shout-Out: She references the TV series Once Upon a Time, which included Anna as a character in the fourth season.
• Witch with a Capital "B": "Me? I would have capped her and freakin' witch-slapped her."

Dorothy vs Alice

• Action Girl: Compares herself favorably to Alice as having been more active in fighting for her goals and helping to free the land from a villainess.
• Cloud Cuckoolander: When Dorothy accuses Alice of being one, Alice returns the blow.
  Alice: You’re as stupid as the scarecrow with only half of his charm; this fool forgot these are the dudes that freakin’ lived on her farm.
• Double Entendre: Her line "You're not thinking, you swallow..." is a dig at Alice for being Too Dumb to Live, but also contains an element of implied Slut-Shaming.
• Ragtag Bunch of Misfits: On two occasions, Alice makes digs at Dorothy's crew, referring to them as a "garbage squad" and a "coward, dolt and bag of bolts".
• Take That!: "Would say I'd wreck your whole world, but that's been done by Tim Burton".
• Witch with a Capital "B": Applies this to herself in a positive sense.
  Dorothy: Not a good witch; I'm a bad bitch.

Alice

Played by: Emily Kinney

• Cloud Cuckoolander: Dorothy makes several jabs at this tendency in Alice.
  Dorothy: Quirky stupid chicks, and nobody can stand'em; you're that annoying girl shouting "L O L, I'm so random!"
• It's Been Done: She starts her first verse by taking aim at the ways in which Dorothy's world was inspired by Alice's.
• Shout-Out: She references the song "Ease on Down the Road" from The Wiz.
• Too Dumb to Live: Dorothy accuses her of this for drinking from a strange bottle.

Others

• The Mad Hatter: The Trope Namer steps in to help Alice, where he is clearly aware and proud of how insane he comes off.
  Of course our raps make you angry! We're all mad here.

Queen of Hearts vs Wicked Witch

The Queen of Hearts

Played by: Alyssa Preston

• Big Beautiful Woman: The Queen considers herself to be this, while simultaneously putting the Witch down for being too thin.
• Burn the Witch!: The Queen threatens to do that to the Witch, referencing the Salem Witch Trials.
• Off with His Head!: The Queen ends her second verse by ordering the Witch's execution.
• Shout-Out: The Queen tells the Witch she'll make her walk the green mile.

The Wicked Witch of the West

Played by: Whitney Avalon

• Accidental Misnaming: The Queen references the Adele Dazeem meme, referring to when John Travolta accidentally called Idina Menzel "Adele Dazeem" when introducing her on stage. Idina Menzel played the part of the Witch in the Broadway show Wicked
• Shout-Out:
  • The Witch tells the Queen that she wouldn't like her when she's angry. In the next line she refers to the Hulk by name.
  • She also says that it ain't easy being green.
  • The Witch claims she turned the land of Oz into a prison.
• Weaksauce Weakness: The Queen makes fun of the Witch's weakness to water.

Harley Quinn & Birds of Prey

Harley Quinn

Played by: Mary Kate Wiles

• Cloudcuckoo Lander: She is crazy and even describes herself as such.
• Five Stages of Grief: References these, but changes the order of them.
  Harley Quinn: Been through denial, depression, bargaining, and now I'm just pissed!
• Genki Girl: Full of energy and enthusiasm.
  Harley Quinn: Never been a quitter, cause my heart's full of glitter!
• Groin Attack: Her response to being asked, "Aren't you the Joker's girl?" by a thug at the beginning.
• Love Makes You Evil: She describes her backstory of being corrupted as a result of falling for the Joker.
• The Power of Friendship: Uses this to win over, first the previously friendless Huntress, and then the initially antagonistic Black Canary.
• Tempting Fate: The moment she says "No-one can stop me!", two thugs appear and attack her, and she is only rescued by the timely arrival of the Huntress, who shoots both of them.
• The Unfettered: She declares that she is no longer held back by rules or expectations.

Huntress

Played by: Whitney Avalon

• Actor Allusion: Her introductory shot has her aiming a crossbow at the camera, somewhat reminiscent of when Avalon previously played Katniss Everdeen.
• Loner-Turned-Friend: Initially says that she doesn't really have friends, but ends up bonding with Harley Quinn and then Black Canary, and exclaiming, "Having friends is fun!"
• Revenge: Her main motivation, as she frankly states.
• Sole Survivor: Of the massacre of her family.
• Vigilante Woman: She kills mafiosos with her crossbow.

Black Canary

Played by: SWOOP

• Clean Up the Town: What she wants to do, by taking down all the criminal elements.
• Glass-Shattering Sound: References her ability to "shatter glass windows" with her voice.
• The Mole: She works for Roman Sionis, but is waiting for her chance to take him, and all the mobsters and criminals, down.
