Leaders

    Alyssa

Alyssa

Face claim: 11EYES, liselotte werkmeister

Voice: Avril Lavigne

(...under construction. lol)

Tropes:

  • Being Good Sucks
  • Dirty Business
  • Frequently-Broken Unbreakable Vow: Alyssa made a silent promise to herself long ago not to kill a person, and not to kill a pokemon. Her actions in the war have indirectly led to the death of humans, and even the death of pokemon. The death of pokemon at her hands has even made her physically sick.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished
  • Reluctant Warrior: She dislikes violence and needless fighting, but when the going gets tough, the tough (in this case, Alyssa) get going. If you're Lux, you'll be lucky to see mercy from her on a battlefield.
  • Walking the Earth: She's spent 16 years of her life traveling all over the world. Although she knows some Regions better than others, she's definitely made her mark in places other than her home.

    Terran

Terran Sunderland

Face claim: AXIS POWERS HETALIA, Roman Empire

A former member of Team Magma turned freedom-loving Nox member, Terran is a man who knows what he wants and how he wants it. He joined Nox to make a difference in a world crushed under Lux's heel, especially his beloved home of Hoenn. While his past still haunts him, his fatherly instinct and over 22 years of battling experience make him a fearsome foe in any fight. His ultimate goal is to try and help Nox fend off Lux so his son can grow up in a world where he can live free. He specializes in Ground types, his team including: "Old Ironsides," the world's most chill Torterra, "Mirage," a cocky yet skillful Flygon, "Delta," a space case of an Excadrill, "Razor," a battle-loving Sandslash, and "Guru," a wise Claydol whose teleporting powers prove infinitely useful.

Tropes:

  • An Arm and a Leg
  • Blood Knight - Razor demands fights whenever he sees the chance to get involved in one.
    • Rocksteady. Dear god Rocksteady.
  • Chronic Hero Syndrome - Eeyup.
  • Cloudcuckoolander - Delta fits this to a T.
  • Crippling Overspecialization - When it comes to Pokemon, he always uses Ground types. No exceptions.
  • Disappeared Dad - He was this to his son, Elliot, a fact that he deeply regrets.
  • Dishing Out Dirt - Terran doesn't have a single team member that isn't a Ground type.
  • Dysfunctional Family - Terran's team sees themselves like a big family. Including all the petty squabbles and pointless arguments being a family brings.
  • Knight in Shining Armor - What Terran wants to be for the people of Hoenn.
  • Never Hurt an Innocent - A creed Terran always abides by.
  • Neutral Good - Law, no laws, Terran just wants what's best for Hoenn.
  • Older Sidekick - Despite being 38, he usually takes a supporting role rather than a leading one.
    • Until recently.
  • Reformed Criminal - Despite formerly being a member of Team Magma, he is now one of the more level-headed and peaceful members of Nox.
  • Stone Wall - His Torterra, Ironsides, has almost impenetrable defenses.
  • The Atoner - He is motivated forward, in part, by guilt over his time at Magma and having to leave his son.
  • Thou Shalt Not Kill - Despite this being war, Terran is very iffy on the issue of killing.
    • Rocksteady, though, does not share his sentiments.
  • Tunnel King - Terran can dig a mean hole when he needs to, but his Excadrill, Delta, takes the cake.

    Queen

Queen

Face claim: VOCALOID, miku hatsune

Other Identities: Beast, Amelia, Hana Queen

Queen has three sides: Shy and avoidant, kind and grieving or iron willed and ruthless. You only really see the latter, though. But it's a wrong move to decide what kind of person Queen is from just that, as a girl who is liable for being volatile. Between acquaintances and friends, Queen is more likely to have less friends since she has difficulty expressing her feelings - and more acquaintances. But, you'd never guess when you see Queen in guerilla mode on the battlefield. After all, her reputation for being ruthless isn't a fairytale. Plus, she is quite blunt in words. For her close friends, however, they know how she is quite sensitive and compassionate. Albeit self destructive and complex, there is more to Queen than the combatant she's made herself become. In truth, she's a rather deep and melancholic character whose mind doesn't stop for her emotions.

Enemies are not few and far between. But that won't make Queen ever falter. Got an issue? Get in line. She's not one to attack Lux soldiers, unless need be - or challenged. Realistically, though, Queen doesn't have any qualms with the soldiers or the sympathizers and therefore doesn't hate them. Her criticism is towards the more influential and powerful Lux authority that control Lux organization and tactics. However, Queen is very respectful of the dead and can become livid when certain things she respects are insulted. She also wishes that, other than war, everyone would realize that the fight was ridiculous when both sides have both 'wrong's and 'rights'.

As a lover, Queen is the detached kind - a woman who is both charming and ruthless. It's not that she hasn't dated, but that she's not likely to date long. From experience of working at a brothel, Queen is very wary of men and sees the majority of them as paper dolls. Because of this, she is rather cynical. The intentions of all men are the same: it's about a love game, not love. it's about sex, not her heart. The moment someone confesses that they love her, Queen's heart becomes instantly cold. Even if she does wish for true love, Queen won't take you seriously and will play with you. She'll make you hate her, because she sees love confessions from most men as disgusting. Still, it's very easy for disgust to turn into fear. She has a man phobia under all her mental armor, after all. One wrong move, and ruthless little Queen can become a shivering little girl.

Cecil

Face claim: Darker than Black, hei

A general description about the character's personality, motivations, etc.

Tropes:

    Renae

Renae

Face-claim: GENSO SUIKOGAIDEN, sierra mikain

Renae's a mystery novelist of some renown (think Castle), but she's more notable for being a philosopher publishing under the pseudonym Renge, who's basically Voltaire with boobs. She's big on harmony, security, order, and basically everything Lux stands for, which makes sense because she wrote what they stand for.

Then the war started. She stayed by Lux's side at first, but then pulled a FaceHeelTurn. Her original intention was to hide in her home region Unova to hibernate through the war, but at every turn, Lux has pissed her off more and more. Now she's involved on the frontlines, urging leaders to fight and raising outcry against Lux everywhere she goes.

She's also a crazy psycho-bitch, an ice queen, and a huge dick.

    Barnaby

"We're taking this battle to the air, understood?"

Barnaby Draper

Face claim: EUREKA7, Dominic Sorel

Backpacker. Wanderer. Current Nox Guerilla. The troubled drifter went under many names in his lifetime. He simply goes by his given name now. Haunted by his mother’s death, he struggles to become glorious in the ranks of Nox. He’s often seen as quirky among his comrades and tends to be the butt of all damn jokes. A flying specialist: his pokémon usually have other element besides flight. His team includes: “Akela,” the bullet Crobat; “Garuda,” the sky conquering Braviary; “Raja,” the mystical Xatu; “Gautama,” the sassy Vullaby, “Oda,” the silent Ledian; and “Yanma” THE EGG HATCHING YANMA. Along with this specialty, he has a natural affinity with planes that he doesn’t know about yet… c:

Tropes:

  • Badass Normal: Barnaby ain't no Champion, but he's fought his fair share of 'em. AND SURVIVED.
  • Born Lucky: Let's see you fight an Ice/Electric team with only flyers.
  • Brilliant, but Lazy: Oh, he could definitely play war with the best of them, but Barnaby would never fight until he's ordered to.
  • Butt-Monkey: a la "Peddiursa". He never catches a break!
  • Chaotic Good: Much like half of Nox, freedom is the key to happiness.
  • Glass Cannon: Barnaby's team is all attack and speed, no defense. Strategy is basically a must. Luck helps too!
  • Glory Seeker: Despite his demeanor, he just can't wait to be king.
  • Knight Templar: Barnaby thinks he's downright holy.
  • No Fourth Wall: There's never been a fourth wall!
  • Took a Level in Badass: Barnaby is the most killable person on PRE. Will he ever die though? Hahahahaha.
  • Trash Talk: Expect insults throughout every single match.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Those EGG HATCHING Lux.
  • Walking the Earth: Barnaby clinically must travel. It's the reason for him popping up everywhere. He manages to stay in Olivine for longer stretches of time.
  • Would Hit a Girl: Threatened a 10-year-old girl, to be exact.

    Pixie

    Stellar

Stellar Cor Aurelia

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/stellarauri_5147.jpg
I'm fighting for the lesser of two evils...I think."
Face claim: AXIS POWER HETALIA, taiwan
Important Pokemon : Aria (Aggron), Saedea (Ninetales), Samuel (Archeops), Plume (Archeops), Wystra (Sawsbuck)

Stellar's the kind of girl that joined the war fighting for the side that she thinks is right. She's stubborn and headstrong enough to prove her point, but lately, her decisions had been leading to things that she doesn't think she can handle...

Tropes:

  • Walking the Earth : She was kicked out when she was fourteen and has no home to claim ever since.
  • Five Stages of Grief : Going through this after the death of her Noctowl, Sierra, which Stellar thinks it's her fault, in the Battle of Evergrande. Also, in denial that her friend Sam is dead.
  • I Am a Monster : Back when she snapped and killed a Mightyena with her bare hands. Also : My God, What Have I Done?
  • Beware the Nice Ones : Threaten her, or her loved ones, and she's still very willing to kill. Never mind that she'll regret after.
  • The Berserker : It's like her blood boils in excitement every single time she steps into battle. Not necessarily a good thing.
  • Will Not Be a Victim : Is this in the Battle against Caelius. She refused to back down, even as the other man gave her a choice. It ends up with her prisoner in his hands for a while.
  • Weak, but Skilled: She might not look much, but don't piss her off in any way. She only barely rein in her battlelust, which was tempered into bloodlust thanks to the environment she was raised in.
  • Combat Pragmatist: She have been this before, and if the stakes are high enough, Stellar wouldn't mind doing anything.
  • Genius Bruiser: Her Aggron fits this the most, though the steel type is also a Gentle Giant.
  • Necessary Fail: She argued with her father, and stormed out of the house in a fit of childish stubbornness and fury. Stellar regrets it, but without it, she would never have been involved in the war, which taught her good and bad things. Without the war, she would never have a reason to move to these regions.

Tropes:

    Elliot

Elliot Sunderland

Face claim: AXIS POWERS HETALIA, Italy

Terran's son, a sympathizer of Nox who just wants to see the war all end. Greatly saddened by his father having to leave his life, he still manages to always keep optimistic despite his oftentimes poor luck. Above all he just wants peace to come back to his home of Hoenn, but as that doesn't seem likely without having to fight he'll do what he needs to in order to bring peace. He'd rather not fight, and when he does end up being involved in the war it is either helping with propaganda or being caught in the crossfire. His team is composed of individually weak yet crafty Pokemon, lead by his trusty starter, a Marshtomp named Hydro. Other team members include "Supernova," an egotistical Starly, "Mordin," a very intelligent Elgyem, and "THE BOULDER," a Roggenrola who thinks he's a wrestler.

    Proton
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tvtropes-proton_5174.png
"Me? Sick? No, dear, you've got me all wrong. I'm no more sick than you and the rest of the people on this godforsaken rock."

Rocket Executive Proton

Face claim: POKEMON, proton

The artist formerly known as Alexander James Hoffman, Jr. He's a member of Team Rocket, and has no problems admitting it. He's often called The Scissorfiend. As of PRE V2, he is dead.

Tropes:

  • Anime Hair: Proton's hair is green. For some reason, everyone comments on it, despite pink, blue, or silver hair being very common.
  • Berserk Button: There are a ton. Some of them are more moral than others (for example, child abusers), but others are more petty. The biggest one is his hatred for being called a whore or any variant of it.
  • Bookworm: Don't tell anyone. He's sort of embarrassed about it.
  • Break the Cutie: Alex actually was a very innocent child. He just got dealt a bad hand, and failed to respond in a way that would better his situation.
    • Also causes this in a ton of characters.
  • Dark and Troubled Past
  • Don't You Dare Pity Me!: Yells "I don't need your pity" at Platinum.
  • Driven to Villainy: In part by circumstances, in part by his own pride, in part by desperation. Arguable, as Proton could have easily prevented all of this by merely asking for help back when he was a kid.
  • Enemy Within: Alex is somewhere in there, buried deep within the buzzing of the Scissorfiend.
  • Leaning on the Furniture: Sitting on desks, leaning on doorframes, kicking back where he shouldn't be... One day he'll break one of Giovanni's endtables.
  • Psycho for Hire: Works for Team Rocket. Cuts people up for fun and profit. Need I say more?
  • Slouch of Villainy: Often lounges in chairs. Posture? What posture?
  • Self-Made Orphan: Proton killed both of his parents.
  • The Sociopath: Arguable. He's certainly more likely to show pity or remorse than Merope, but it'll take a lot of convincing.
  • Stab Happy
  • Team Killer: Neither Nox nor Team Rocket members are safe from Proton's scissors.
