The Pinkertons:
Pinkalicious Pinkerton
- Voiced by: Kayla Erickson
- Adaptational Nice Guy: In the original books, Pinkalicious was a bit of a brat, especially in the first book. Here, she is much nicer and not bratty in the slightest. (except in the adaptation of the first book, and even then her brattiness was a Compressed Vice)
- Aerith and Bob: While everyone else has normal names, her name is completely made up.
- Alliterative Name: Pinkalicious Pinkerton.
- Catchphrase: "Pinkatastic!". In fact, she tends to stick "Pinka-" onto almost any word like "Pinkaperfect" or "Pinkamazing".
- Cheerful Child: Super cheerful.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Anything pink usually has something to do with her, obviously.
- Companion Cube: Henrietta, her teddy bear, as shown in "Zoo Day". She talks to her as if she were a real person.
- Cool Big Sis: In Peter's eyes.
- Determinator: When she has a goal, she won't stop until she reaches it, whether it be getting a leaf to land on her shoulder or getting a plant to bloom by singing to it.
- Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": Everyone calls her "Pinkalicious", although it's rather unclear if it's actually her real name or just a nickname.
- Girlish Pigtails: Wears her hair like this.
- Girly Girl: Well, duh.
- Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: Despite loving pink and other stereotypically feminine things, she also likes soccer, tinkering, using her creativity, is a resilient problem-solver, and is the leader of her clique.
- Large Ham: Most of the time, her dialogue sounds like she's shouting.
- The Leader: She's the leader of her friendship clique, which consists of Peter, Jasmine, Rafael, Kendra, and sometimes Lila.
- Limited Wardrobe: Zig-zagged. While her wardrobe is nowhere near unlimited, she does have outfits for several situations, such as a winter coat, pajamas, and a swimsuit. She also wears her iconic fairy outfit in some episodes and the opening theme.
- Ms. Imagination
- My God, What Have I Done?: Pinkalicious has this sort of reaction when she unintentionally ruins Rafael's painting and Rafael tells her off for it in "Glitterizer".
- She also has this reaction when she accidentally squirts syrup on Mr. Crunk in "Cha-Cha-Licious".
- Pink Girl, Blue Boy: The Pink Girl to Peter's Blue Boy. (Technically, one of his two standard outfits is more greenish, but still)
- Pink Means Feminine: Really? Who would have guessed?
- Somethingitis: In "Pinkalicious", which adapts the first ever Pinkalicious book, she eats too many pink cupcakes and her skin turns pink. The doctor diagnoses her with "Pinkititis"
- Verbal Tic: She sticks "pink" onto every single word.
Peter Pinkerton
- Voiced by: Jaden Waldman
- Adaptational Nice Guy: Less of an Annoying Younger Sibling than he was in the books. He is much kinder.
- Alliterative Name: Peter Pinkerton.
- The Baby of the Bunch: He is the youngest member of Pinkalicious' clique.
- Character Development: He turns out to be so much more than a little kid who stands in his older sister's shadow. He gets development in "No Honking", where it is revealed that he struggles with being the youngest, as the others won't pay attention to him. And in "Peter's Blues", he gets even more development. He just wants to make others happy, but has niche expectations, as he thinks that blues music will make everyone else happy, when everyone else responds to blues music sadly.
- Cheerful Child
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: His colors are purple, blue, or green.
- Companion Cube: Like with Pinkalicious, in "Zoo Day" Peter talks to his teddy bear as if it were a real person.
- Hidden Depths: See Character Development.
- Limited Wardrobe: Averted; he has two standard outfits instead of just one (one that comes in greenish-blue, and one that comes in purple as shown in the picture).
- Never Bareheaded: He is almost never seen without his hat on.
- Nice Guy: The kid has a kind heart, and even when he does mess up (like in "Peter's Blues"), it is never out of pure malice.
- Not Now, Kiddo: Unfortunately gets subjected to this in "No Honking", where he makes a song with his scooter horn, but everyone else won't listen to the song and dismisses it as "noise". However, when the other characters actually listen to it, they realize that noise can be music, and they apologize for not listening.
- Purple Is Powerful: One of his two standard outfits is purple.
- Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: The sensitive guy to Rafael's manly man.
- Ship Tease: With his totally-platonic-friend Frida. In "Show and Smell", he tries to impress her by making a "stripy" perfume, with mixed results.
- Signature Headgear: His baseball cap that he wears sideways.
- Tagalong Kid: He loves to join Pinkalicious on her adventures.
Mr. and Mrs. Pinkerton
- Voiced by: Jayce Bartok (Daddy) and Molly Lloyd (Mommy)
- Alliterative Name: Mrs. Pinkerton's first name is Pearl, as revealed in "Dream Salon", which makes her full name Pearl Pinkerton.
- Bumbling Dad: Daddy, occasionally. Although it's mostly downplayed.
- Camp Straight: Daddy loves feminine stuff like cooking and gardening according to Word of God, and yet he's married to Mommy.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Purple for Mommy, blue for Daddy.
- Gadgeteer Genius: Mommy, who is always coming up with inventions, being an industrial designer and all.
- Good Parents: They are very loving towards Pinkalicious and Peter, and are also quite patient.
- In Touch with His Feminine Side: Daddy, who loves cooking and gardening.
- Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: Mommy is an inventor, which is generally considered to be a men's job, while Daddy likes cooking and gardening, which are often considered to be feminine.
- Open-Minded Parent: They are always eager to support their childrens' creativity.
- Satellite Character: Outside of being Pinkalicious and Peter's parents, and subverting common gender stereotypes, there isn't much to them and they are rarely seen without each other.
Pinkalicious and Peter's friends:
Jasmine
- Voiced by: Daia Jade
- Canon Foreigner: Is not from the original books.
- Cheerful Child
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Her main color is yellow.
- Nice Girl: Hardly gets mad and is a very good friend.
- Satellite Character: Unfortunately, she has virtually no other traits, besides the fact that she likes to play the recorder.
- Suspiciously Similar Substitute: In the original books, Pinkalicious had a black best friend named Molly. When the show was made, Molly didn't get to appear in it, and Jasmine, who looks a little bit like her, replaced her.
- Those Two Guys: She can almost always be seen hanging out with Kendra or Rafael.
- Token Minority: Is African-American.
Rafael Martinez
- Voiced by: Justice Quiroz
- The Big Guy: This is his role in the clique, since he doesn't seem to fit the other examples. He is the only male in the clique besides Peter, and loves to play soccer.
- Canon Foreigner: Not from the original books.
- Cheerful Child
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: He can be identified by the color grey, or blue.
- Meaningful Name: His name is a variation of Raphael, which happens to be the name of an Italian painter, which fits Rafael because he loves to paint.
- Nice Guy: A very kind fellow.
- Real Men Wear Pink: Rafael is on Pinkalicious' soccer team as shown in "Dancing Shoes". Their uniforms are pink. Rafael doesn't seem to have a problem with it.
- Satellite Character: Like Jasmine, he doesn't have much of a personality, and only exists to be friends with Pinkalicious.
- Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: Rafael just so happens to the Manly Man to Peter's Sensitive Guy. Although, Rafael himself isn't completely manly, as he likes to draw and paint.
- Those Two Guys: He is almost always seen hanging out with Jasmine.
- Token Minority: Is Latino.
Kendra
- Voiced by: Echo Picone
- Adaptational Nice Guy: In the original books, she was a bully to Pinkalicious, was part of a black-loving Goth Girl Posse, and was also on a rival soccer team. In this show, she is one of Pinkalicious' best friends, and is a lot nicer, albeit a bit of a snarker.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Her colors are black and gray.
- Deadpan Snarker: Is this to the Nth degree. She is super sarcastic and often makes scathing remarks towards the other members of the clique. For example:"You are not still singing to the plant!"
- Hair Flip: Kendra does this in To Catch a Leaf while explaining to the rest of the clique that leaves are "tree litter".
- Hidden Depths: She is revealed to have a secret spot in the forest in "Fairy House". She even lets the springtime fairies live there.
- Hime Cut: Wears her hair like this.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Even though she makes scathing remarks towards the rest of the gang, she ultimately has a good heart, and that's why the other kids still hang out with her.
- The Lancer: This is her role in the clique. Kendra is a goth, somewhat snobbish contrast to Pinkalicious' kind and cheerful personality. She doesn't always agree with Pinkalicious' ideas, but she eventually goes along with it anyway.
- Perky Goth: Fits the trope like a glove. She dresses all in dark colors, and when she's not being a deadpan snarker, she's fairly amiable, given the target audience.
Lila
- Voiced by: Raleigh Shuck
- Cheerful Child
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Her main color is purple.
- Graceful Ladies Like Purple: Zig-zagged. She's not exactly graceful, but she does have a feminine streak.
- Nice Girl
- Prone to Tears: Lila definitely is this. She is homesick at the slumber party in "Slumber Party", and she easily gets discouraged about her soccer abilities in "Peter's Blues".
- Purple Is Powerful
- Sixth Ranger: In Pinkalicious' friend group. She doesn't appear as often as the other characters, but when she does appear, she hangs out with them.
- Shrinking Violet: She is quite shy, which might explain why she doesn't hang out with the gang often. Bonus points for her wearing violet clothing.
- Suspiciously Similar Substitute: She did appear in the original books, but she seems to serve as one to Rose, a character who didn't make it to the show. They even look similar.
- For the adaptation of The Princess of Pink Slumber Party, (the episode itself is called "Slumber Party"), Lila fills the role that Allison (another character who didn't make it to the show) had in the book.
- Tomboy: She loves soccer, and is the only female character in the show so far that doesn't wear a dress or a skirt.
- Tomboy with a Girly Streak: Even then, her clothes are girly and she wore a princess dress in "Slumber Party".
Frida Martinez
- Voiced by: Nicole Ruiz
- Canon Foreigner: Not from the original books.
- Cheerful Child
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Orange for her.
- Meaningful Name: She shares her name with the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, which fits with how her older brother is an artist.
- "Frida" also means "peaceful", which fits her mellow personality.
- Nice Girl
- Ship Tease: With Peter in "Show and Smell". He tries to make a "stripy" perfume just to impress her.
- Sixth Ranger: Alongside Lila.
Pinkville Residents:
Mr. and Mrs. Plum
- Voiced by: Ezra Knight (Mr.), Blanca Camacho (Mrs.)
- Affectionate Nickname: Mrs. Plum calls her husband "Plummy".
- Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: In "Puptastic", Pinky accidentally gets dyed pink.
- Canine Companion: Pinky, to both of them.
- Chekhov's Skill: In "Cha-Cha-Licious", they demonstrate the cha-cha to Pinkalicious, and it comes in handy later when the latter uses it to keep up with the constant ice-cream demand.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Pink for Mr., red for Mrs.
- The Dividual: They have the exact same personality, same love for the arts, and they just so happen to be married.
- Happily Married: And how.
- Meaningful Name: Pinky lives up to his name in "Puptastic", where he gets dyed pink.
- The couple's surname is meaningful because Mrs. wears a purple apron, while Mr. wears dark pink, almost purple, clothes.
- Nice Guy: Very much so. They aren't even mad when they find out Pinky had been dyed pink.
- Real Men Wear Pink: Mr. Plum wears a dark shade of pink.
- Those Two Guys: They are always seen together.
- Token Minority: They are a mixed-race married couple: Mr. Plum is African-American, while Mrs. Plum is Latina.
Mayor Martinez
- Voiced by: Rebecca Soler
- Alliterative Name: Mayor Martinez.
- Big Beautiful Woman: She is very...curvaceous, to say the least.
- Bunny-Ears Lawyer: She is overdramatic, but is a competent city mayor.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Yellow
- Drama Queen: In "Peter's Blues", she breaks her favorite pencil. Peter makes her sad by singing a blues song about it, and then she starts crying, and threatens to shut down Pinkvile. All this over a broken pencil.
- Expy: Of Mayor Goodway from PAW Patrol, as both are plump, brown-skinned, hammy mayors.
- Good Parent: To Rafael and Frida.
- Large Ham: Especially in "Peter's Blues"
- Nice Girl: She is a benevolent mayor that appreciates the arts.
- Skewed Priorities: She apparently cares about a broken pencil more than the well-being of her own town. This was only in one episode, though.
Mr. Crunk
- Voiced by: Chris Phillips
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Red.
- Cool Old Guy: What else can you say about an old man who knows to make silly sounds and is the most talented knitter in Pinkville?
- Grumpy Old Man: Downplayed. He seems grumpy to the kids, and he thinks art is a waste of time, but he can be nice at times.
- Hidden Depths: It is revealed that he knows how to make silly sounds and is a great knitter.
- Informed Attribute: His official bio says that he's the school secretary, but the actual show itself says he's a vice principal. Besides, he never does anything that a secretary does in the show.
- Ironic Name: "Crunk" is a hip-hop genre of music, but Mr. Crunk himself has zero interest in hip-hop music or any kind of art for that matter.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He dislikes art, and seems grumpy, but he is otherwise kind. He wasn't even mad when Pinkalicious squirted syrup on him in "Cha-Cha-Licious".
