    Heaven
A Lawful Good plane of justice and rigorous order, home to the archons and angels.
  • Home of the Gods: Or the Lawful Good ones, at least. Some, like archon empyreal lords, are responsible for administrating Heaven itself in some way, while others rule entirely seperate realms within the plane.

    Nirvana
A Neutral Good plane of peaceful coexistence, home to the agathions and angels.

    Elysium
A Chaotic Good plane of unmitigated freedom and passion, home to the azatas and angels.

    Axis
A Lawful Neutral plane of perfect order, home to inevitables and their creators, the axiomites.

    Boneyard
A Neutral plane where the dead are judged by the goddess Pharasma before moving on to their afterlife in one of the other Outer Planes (usually).

    Maelstrom
A Chaotic Neutral plane of, well... Chaos. It is the least metaphysically stable of the Outer Planes, less so than even the Abyss. It is home to the proteans.

    Hell
A Lawful Evil plane of strict order and cruel hierarchy, home to the devils. It is separated into nine layers, the ninth and deepest of which is Nessus, throne-world of the deity Asmodeus. Archdevils subservient to Asmodeus rule the other eight layers in his name.

    Abbadon
A Neutral Evil plane, ruled by the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and populated by their servants, the death-hungry daemons.
  • Crapsack World: Might be putting it lightly. Those who end up here in their afterlife are constantly hunted by daemons, who kill them quickly if they're lucky. Mortals who wander in the wrong places usually meet the same fate. Even visiting the relatively peaceful cities on the plane might still see you swindled by night hags into having your soul trapped and sold... most likely to daemons, who will eat it.

    The Abyss
A Chaotic Evil plane of functionally infinite size, home to the demons. Chief among these are the Demon Lords, which have divine power and constantly vie for dominance of the world.
  • Genius Loci: Unlike the other planes, special attention is given to the Abyss as a living thing in its own right.
