The Aryans & Bikers

    General
  • All Bikers are Hells Angels: The Bikers.
  • Arch-Enemy: The Muslims.
  • Bad Guys Play Pool: They're often seen around the pool table, and even rape Peter Schibetta on it.
  • Big Bad: They're the most recurring villains throughout the show, even though all the characters are in a permanent grey area.
  • Butt-Monkey: Combining their Hypocrite and Drugs Are Bad status with their leader's obsession with revenge on Beecher over group goals means that the Aryans rarely become major players. They suffer heavy amounts of both friendly and unfriendly fire and given that both their victims and enemies are either white, hate them or both, they are regularly sidelined by the other gangs with ease.
  • Category Traitor: Seem to victimize just as many white inmates as black or Hispanic ones, at least on screen. Their racism, while unquestionably genuine, seems to be more about hating other groups than loving their own.
  • Depraved Bisexual: Most of the Aryans and Bikers seem to really enjoy committing sodomy (usually forced) on other inmates, despite having wives and girlfriends in the outside world. Ironically, they still pick on the Gay inmates.
    • They appear to consider themselves heterosexual. Granted, their sexual aggression could be seen as an extension of their aggression in general. But it's hard to view men like Cutler and Schillinger as completely straight, considering their enthusiasm for the practice.
  • Drugs Are Bad: Firm believers in this, which is why they avoid conflict with the Homeboys for the most part. Ironically, the only other gang that holds this belief are their main rivals.
    • Subverted with Robson's gum issues.
  • For the Evulz: Unlike The Homeboys, Latinos and Italians who have a profit to protect in the drug trade. And unlike the Muslims and Christians who promote their religious ideology through different methods. And unlike The Gays and The Others who are neutral most of the time, the Aryans do not have much of a goal throughout the series and are mostly concerned about raping and killing inmates for fun. It rapidly becomes apparent that any pretenses of ideology they may have is little more than an excuse to indulge in thuggery and sadism, with them preying on white and non-white inmates just as much.
  • Hell-Bent for Leather: The Bikers.
  • High Turnover Rate: Each of Schillinger's Dragons wind up leaving the Brotherhood, either due to death or other reasons.
  • Hufflepuff House: The Bikers. Classic example, with the exception of Jaz Hoyt and Scott Ross, all the Bikers are minor characters and pawns of the Aryans.
  • Hypocrite: Preach the most (along with maybe the Homeboys) about racial unity, yet practice basically none of it.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: They are Neo-Nazis, after all.
  • Prison Rape: Their main tactic of choice when dealing with enemies and newer, weaker inmates.
  • Stupid Evil: Their only intelligent member becomes consumed with revenge against another inmate and the rest are just plain morons when he isn't there to restrain them, sometimes lethally so.
  • Those Wacky Nazis
  • Token Evil Teammate: The only gang in Oz that commits violence on a large scale for the sake of it, rather than to protect their interests.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Antagonise and piss everyone off, including the administration and other white gangs, and suffer as a result. These guys basically have No Social Skills, in prison with people who already have few such skills to begin with.

Leadership

    Robson

James Robson

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/James_Robson_7286.jpg
"It's funny, here I am, 36 years old I got nowhere to run. You know, and I—I guess what...what I want to know is, is it okay to do whatever is necessary... to survive?"
Played By: R.E. Rodgers

Prisoner #97R492. Convicted November 7, 1997 - Murder in the first degree, assault. Sentence: Life imprisonment, eligible for parole in 25 years.

One of the Aryan leaders and Schillinger's closest friend.

  • Abusive Parents: He tearfully confesses to Sister Pete that his father beat him and sexually abused him.
  • Ascended Extra: Originally, he was only meant to appear as a prisoner who got the tip of his penis bit off, but Fontana was so impressed by Rodgers' acting that the character was given a bigger role.
  • Asshole Victim: Quite literally.
  • Ass Shove: Courtesy of Cutler, who sticks a spoon up his ass.
  • The Atoner: Seems to develop remorse for his actions after being raped by Cutler and spending time with Sister Pete’s support group made up of the kind of people who he spent years assaulting without a second thought, though whether it would have stuck is anyone’s guess.
  • Bald of Evil: His head is shaved bald.
  • Boisterous Weakling: Whenever Robson goes after people by himself or without backup, he gets his ass kicked easily.
  • Break the Haughty: A smug little prick, who gets stepped on again and again. He's good at abusing weaker inmates with the other Aryans backing him up, but when Robson goes after more dangerous prey or picks fights without his friends around, he tends to get his ass kicked.
  • Butt-Monkey: In his tenure in Oz, he gets the tip of his penis bitten off, develops recessive gums, gets beaten down by Frank Urbano, "spooned" by Cutler, infected with HIV, and sodomized by Cutler and Clarence Seroy. Granted, he deserves almost all of it.
  • The Dragon: To Schillinger. He lasts much longer than his predecessors.
  • Eunuchs Are Evil: The tip of his penis was bitten off by Beecher in his first appearance.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Season 6 reveals he has a wife who he genuinely loves.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Your friend just died? He'll mock you with a smile on his face and all of the phony sympathy he can muster.
  • Freudian Excuse: His father was not only physically abusive, but sexually abused his son all the while tormenting him about never showing any sign of "weakness."
  • Hate Sink: One of the biggest rapists in the entire cast, and tosses around even more racial slurs than the other Aryans.
  • Hidden Depths: His meetings with Sister Pete reveal that Robson is a deeply disturbed individual, having dealt with his childhood abuse and drug addiction most of his life.
  • Karmic Butt-Monkey: He goes through a lot of humiliation and injury over the course of the series, but he has all of it coming.
  • Large Ham: Does a lot of yelling, screaming, and sometimes even barking. Robson acts out a lot.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Most if not all of Robson's butt-monkey moments are these, especially his ordeal with Cutler.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: As you might expect from a Nazi. Robson gets a special prize, since most of the overtly racist dialogue comes from him.
  • Rape as Backstory: He was sexually abused by his father.
  • Redemption Equals Death: He reforms at the end of the series, but he's also dying of AIDS.
  • Sole Survivor: Of the Aryans. Since he was exiled from the group, he's the only one not killed by the anthrax Keller had sent into the mailroom before he died. Though it's implied Robson himself won't be around that much longer.
  • Stupid Evil: He seems to prioritize being a dick over his own safety, such as when he throws racist taunts at the dentist who's about to operate on him, and mocks a clearly unstable Saïd about the death of one of his friends.
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: He fills the void of Schillinger's dickish right-hand man after Ross and Mack are killed.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Many examples:
    • Throws racist insults at his dentist during gum surgery. Not after, not before, but in the middle of the procedure, while the man was using sharp, potentially dangerous implements inside his mouth.
    • Willingly sticks his dick in Beecher's mouth, despite what Beecher did to the first man who raped him.
    • Brags to Said about killing his friend and fellow Muslim.
    • Brags about raping Cyril to the O'Reilly brothers before his boxing match with Cyril. While not as immediately dangerous as the examples above, he antagonized Ryan O'Reily, which didn't go well for the Aryans' boxing aspirations.
  • Villainous Friendship: Robson has a genuine friendship with Vern, who is torn up when forced to exile Robson.

    Mack

Mark Mack

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/0a8c1de0_771d_407e_abdd_7a5a6a7ac99b.jpeg
Played By: Leif Riddell

Prisoner #96M542. Convicted June 1, 1996 - Murder in the second degree, vandalism (as a hate crime). Sentence: 70 years, eligible for parole in 40.

A hard-headed and bullish Aryan.

  • Alliterative Name: Mark Mack.
  • The Brute: He exists to do Schillinger's heavy lifting. And that's about it.
  • The Dragon: For Schillinger after Ross dies.
  • Dumb Muscle: His brain-to-brawn ratio makes him a perfect for being a foot soldier and not much else.
  • Hot-Blooded: Mack's got a chip on his shoulder the size of California.
  • Jerkass: He's bad enough in prison, but the whole reason he's in Oz in the first place is because he vandalized some Jewish headstones, and then killed the groundskeeper when he tried to stop him.
  • Karmic Death: He threatens Busmalis into letting him use his escape tunnel, and then is killed when said tunnel collapses on top of him.
  • Mauve Shirt: He gets a bit more spotlight in Season 2, but he dies before the season ends.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: Due to being a goddamn Nazi.
  • Replacement Flat Character: Mack lacks both his predecessor Ross's cunning and his replacement Robson's zeal (though, that could classify as an unfair comparison, considering how much Robson was visibly and wildly unrepentant for the cause; he's simply a brutish dick working for Schillinger.)
  • Sucksessor: He takes over Ross's role as Schillinger's Dragon, but proves far less competent at the role due to lacking any of Ross's cunning and loyalty. The only thing he's really good at is providing muscle, and Schillinger clearly prefers Keller over him.
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: He replaces Ross as Schillinger's dickish right-hand man.
  • Too Dumb to Live: His response when one of the support joists of his escape tunnel collapses is to just keep on going. Only when it actually starts collapsing does he decide to abort his escape, but it's far too late by that time.

    Hoyt

Jaz Hoyt

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1547fb6a_30d5_4f31_9743_bc8e0a46e010.png
Played By: Evan Seinfield

Prisoner #98H432. Convicted August 12, 1998 - aggravated assault in the first degree. Sentence: Eight years, eligible for parole in four. Later, confessed to four counts of murder in the first degree and is sentenced to death. Sentence overturned after he was found insane.

One of the more prominent biker characters, he is often allied with the Aryans.

  • Ax-Crazy: The guy starts off somewhat off his rocker. By the end of the series, he's a homicidal lunatic.
  • Boisterous Bruiser: He's certainly not subtle. It bites him in the ass when he tries to take out Schillinger, who hears him coming a mile away.
  • The Brute: Serves this role to the Aryans, despite ostensibly being the leader of the Bikers.
  • Defector from Decadence: In sharp contrast to what prison officials assumed, he's from a very wealthy, respectable family. He went to the Phillips Exter Academy, an elite boarding school, and dropped out of Harvard.
  • Dumb Muscle: He's more crazy than stupid, but he doesn't use his brain much in any case.
  • Even Evil Has Standards:
    • Mocks Patrick Keenan for being a rapist.
    • He rats on Timmy but refuses to name any of his biker buddies. Later on he gives one up but only after Glynn promises the death penalty will be off the table. Hoyt might be a lot of things but loyalty is important to him.
  • Hidden Depths: He dropped out of Harvard and comes from a very wealthy family. His lawyer says Jaz's entire big scary biker identity originated from his delusions.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Turns himself in for the murders he’s committed once he goes psychotic and starts hallucinating Cloutier. It costs him his life when he reveals to Mukada the whereabouts of Cloutier within earshot of another biker.
  • Insane Equals Violent: A murderous, psychotic biker, though many saner inmates outdo him.
  • Jerkass: To a much lesser extent than his compatriots, but he’s still a rather unpleasant man.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: Despises Kirk and it's monumentally easy to root for him in their war.
  • Pet the Dog: He's the one who organized the donation for Rebadow's dying grandson.
  • Pre-Mortem One-Liner: He gives one right before killing Kirk.
Hoyt: THIS TIME YOU DIE, MOTHERFUCKER!
  • Sanity Slippage: Well, he was never all there to begin with, but he leaps off the deep end when he kills Timmy Kirk.
  • Tattooed Crook: The man doesn't just have sleeves, he's got a whole goddamn shirt.
  • Troubling Unchildlike Behavior: As a child, Hoyt tortured animals and was even caught sodomizing his own playmate.

    Ross

Scott Ross

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fc232089_b62a_4453_9525_c8070d8cb557.jpeg
Played By: Stephen Gevedon

Prisoner #97R518. Convicted June 4, 1997 - Possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute, 3rd conviction. Sentence: Life imprisonment without parole.

A drug dealer, old friend of Schillinger and leader of the Bikers. He has a past connection to Wittlesey, and is disliked heavily by almost everyone.

  • Arc Villain: The main Aryan antagonist for Season 1 after Beecher quite effectively breaks Schillinger.
  • Asshole Victim: No one, not even Sister Pete or his old pal Schillinger, are very torn up about his death.
  • Blackmail: Tries this on Diane. He, among other reasons, gets shot by her for it.
  • Boom, Headshot!: Wittlesey blows his brains out, then shot him in the chest and groin.
  • Depraved Bisexual: He's a very promiscuous kind of drug dealer.
  • The Dragon: He serves as this to Schillinger after he arrives.
  • Dropped a Bridge on Him: Downplayed. He had a fairly satisfying and climactic death, it just happened entirely offscreen and was revealed via dialogue in Season 2.
  • Due to the Dead: Averted. Nobody, not even Sister Pete, has anything kind to say about him after his death.
  • Evil Is Bigger: He stands at 6'4 and is one of the more loathsome inmates in prison.
  • Face of an Angel, Mind of a Demon: Don't let the fact that he's one of the most good-looking inmates fool you, he's a manipulative smuggler with a gigantic Lack of Empathy.
  • Faux Affably Evil: He acts friendly occasionally, but it never disguises that he's a massive Jerkass.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Even Schillinger, ostensibly his closest friend in Oz, doesn't seem to think much of him.
  • Hated by All: Absolutely no one likes him, and after he dies the general reaction is flat-out apathy. Even Schillinger isn't too upset about it.
  • Hate Sink: Manages to be one of the most purely detestable characters in the earlier seasons despite his relatively minor list of crimes. He's a smug, overconfident opportunist and a racist bully with zero likable qualities whose sole reason to exist is to showcase that humans can be assholes for no apparent reason. Worse yet, he continues to be a nuisance to everyone even after he's long gone.
  • Jaywalking Will Ruin Your Life: He’s an interesting example of this. He’s serving life without parole, a longer sentence than some murderers, for falling afoul of the three strikes law. However, while his actual crimes may be fairly minor, he proves to be a truly despicable human being. He’s objectively been completely screwed over by the legal system, but he also 100% deserves it.
  • Jerkass: One of the biggest in the entire series. He's just a huge asshole to everyone around him, regularly bullying African-American inmates, tormenting those who are weaker than him and constantly expressing passive-aggressive behavior towards McManus out of petty and unjustified jealousy. Even Sister Pete doesn't like him.
    • Small amount of Pet the Dog in his conversation with Donald Groves, practically the only scene in which he is reasonably friendly to anyone.
  • Lean and Mean: He's very tall and very skinny, yet he's also one of the biggest, most reprehensible assholes in the series.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: While he doesn't make many such remarks, he's good friends with Schillinger and the other Aryans, making it safe to assume he's this.
  • Professional Butt-Kisser: He's a high-ranking member of both the Aryans and the Bikers despite literally everyone hating his guts and somehow compensates on that by actively kissing Schillinger's ass. He's busy bullying the weaker inmates like Beecher even when Schillinger himself doesn't feel like it so Ross is definitely too hateful and bigoted to get rid off. He also becomes this to O'Reily by serving as his counselor of sorts, thus managing to secure him a position as one of the leaders during the riot.
  • Smug Snake: Ross considers himself a major player, which is seen as he is one of the trustees during the riot amongst O'Reily, Alvarez, Said and Adebisi.
  • Sudden Sequel Death Syndrome: The first episode of Season 2 reveals he was murdered by Wittlesey during the climactic raid at the end of Season 1.
  • Unkempt Beauty: He's a relatively good-looking man despite having an extremely unkempt appearance, permastubble and terrible hygiene.
  • White Hair, Black Heart: His hair is shown to be prematurely greying, which can be seen as a sign of his interest in tobacco.

Soldiers

    Andrew

Andrew Schillinger

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Andrew_Schillinger_3062.jpg
"I gotta tell you something Dad, my whole life you’ve crammed into my head how superior we white folks are. I don’t see the truth in that."
Prisoner 99S333. Convicted February 16, 1999 - Murder in the second degree, possession of narcotics. Sentence: 50 years, up for parole in 20.

Schillinger's youngest son and drug addict.

  • Abusive Parents: Vern was apparently neglectful of his sons, except when it came time to pound more Neo-Nazi ideology into their heads.
  • Ambiguously Gay: Beecher says that Andrew has a crush on him, but it's not clear if that's true or he's just saying it to screw with Vern Schillinger's head.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: The compassion Beecher shows to him by comforting him when he goes through witdrawal and helping him kick his drug habit is what makes him renounce his Aryan beliefs.
  • Butt-Monkey: He spends a good chunk of his screentime getting beat up or manipulated.
  • Freudian Excuse: It's hard to question how a kid with a father like Vern Schillinger ends up that screwed up.
  • Heel–Face Turn: He eventually renounces his Aryan beliefs and declares that Beecher is a better father to him than Schillinger ever wasnote .
  • Hot-Blooded: Due to putting up with Schillinger's abuse, he's got quite a temper.
  • Morality Pet: Almost for Schillinger, but averted at the last minute.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Delivered a devastating one to his father after kicking his drug habit.
  • Redemption Equals Death: The kid finally kicks his drug habit, repudiates his racist upbringing, and resolves to change his life for the better. Then his father sends him some bad heroin that he promptly overdoses on.
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: Averted. Despite Schillinger's high standards, it's clear from the get-go that Andrew doesn't care much for his father. When Andrew cleans himself up and finally earns his father's respect, Andrew rejects him completely.

    Cutler

Wolfgang Cutler

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Wolfgang_Cutler_3695.jpg
"You and me? We're gonna spoon. Now bend the fuck over."
Played By: Brendan Kelly

Prisoner #02C773. Convicted February 20, 2003 - Murder in the first degree. Sentence: Life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

An Aryan-Biker with a sadistic sexual appetite.

  • Asshole Victim: Considering Cutler was a sadistic rapist, it's hard to mourn for him.
  • Ax-Crazy: He's a brutally sadistic rapist and a murderer who decapitated a man with a motorcycle. In many ways, Cutler is like an even crazier version of Adebisi.
  • Bald of Evil: Standard issue for the Aryans.
  • Beard of Evil
  • Bondage Is Bad: Cutler has a strong interest in bondage and the like. He even takes 'Of Human Bondage' out of the library and becomes disappointed when the book turns out different from what he wanted.
  • Depraved Bisexual: Compared to the other Aryans, he takes sexual slavery to a whole different level. And that's really saying something.
  • Good Victims, Bad Victims: Lampshaded; contracts AIDS from parties unknown but never finds out about it. Ironically, his infecting Robson ends up allowing him the courage to renounce his evil past.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: When reading the lines for Macbeth, he can't seem to understand why he supposed to feel regret for having just killed a man. All attempts to explain simply end with Cutler shrugging and saying "Macbeth's a pussy."
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Possibly. While Cutler is shown to be the ideal image of what an Aryan should be, he doesn't have close ties with anyone in the circle whatsoever despite proving himself to be more than capable of being a homicidal bigot.
  • Jerkass: The man's a top class sadist. Even the other Aryans don't seem to like him that much.
  • Karmic Death: Tricked into killing himself by his rape victim, via bondage (a favorite past-time of Cutler).
  • Pet the Dog: It was kind of him to leave everything to Alvarez in his will.
    • YMMV, most likely he was doing it out of spite to his wife.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: Being a Nazi and all.
  • Rape Discretion Shot: Averted: we get to see some of the violent alone time he and Robson share in their cell at night.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Allowing Robson to convince him to try auto-erotic asphyxiation. Of course, he dies trying it.
    • Foreshadowed when he readily agrees to take out Said in exchange for full membership in the Aryan Brotherhood. Not that he ever gets the chance.
  • Troll: After his death, he leaves everything to Alvarez just to make people crazy.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: When he first appeared in Season 5, Cutler attempts to join the Aryans but he is told he has to kill Kareem Said, as murdering someone is the only way to become a member of the gang. After he fails to kill Said, he disappears until season six, where he is shown to be a member of the group. How he managed to get in or who he killed, is never stated.

    Winthrop

Franklin Winthrop

Played By: Andy Powers
A suburban kid and best friends with Adam Guenzel. While Guenzel goes to Em City and gets Beecher's protection, Winthrop gets sent to Unit B and quickly falls victim to the Aryans.

  • Asshole Victim: He's got a target on his back the second he steps into Oz, but he's a rapist himself so it's hard to sympathize.
  • Depraved Bisexual: Winthrop is in Oz because he raped a woman and although (like everyone else) his status as a sex slave is absolutely unwanted, he still shows some traits of perversion, namely the fact that he actually asks Schillinger if he can watch the gangbang of his friend. Plus when Keller pretends to seduce him, not only does Winthrop does nothing to stop it, but a) says "nice" when Keller kisses him by surprise and b) has a smile on his face as he prepares to give him a blowjob.
  • Foil: Winthrop's experience in prison is almost a mirror image of Tobias Beecher's, being "saved" from a menacing black inmate only to be made into Schillinger's sex slave. Winthrop, lacking Beecher's morality, decides to simply join the Aryans rather than rebuke Schillinger.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Sent to prison for rape. Almost immediately becomes a prag.
  • Not-So-Harmless Villain: It's hard to be afraid of Schillinger's prag, but he manages to become a full member of the Aryans by killing Beecher's father
  • With Friends Like These...: He turns on Guenzel as soon as he discovers that he has not gotten similar treatment in Em City. He sets his former friend up to get gang-raped by the Aryans and later gets him killed in a dangerous escape attempt.

    Miles

Mark Miles

Played By: Mike Quill

Prisoner 97M573. Convicted July 10, 1997 - three counts of murder in first degree. Sentence: Death.

A racist Death Row inmate who killed his entire family. Twice.

  • Asshole Victim: Just look at the rest of his tropes. Moses punching through the wall to get at him definitely ranks as one of the more cathartic moments of the series.
  • Dirty Coward: He hides on his bunk when the warden comes to talk to him about his execution.
  • Evil Is Petty: When he can't commit murder, he settles for intense racism, homophobia and just being a very unpleasant person.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Deyell, Bellinger, and Ginzburg get along well enough on Death Row, but Miles goes out of his way to be an asshole to everyone. Even the likes of Schillinger and Lopresti don't seem to like him.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Being black, talking and breathing in his vicinity set him off violently.
  • Hate Sink: He has no redeeming qualities at all. Even other loathsome characters on the show like Lopresti can barely stand him.
  • Hidden Depths: One day, he decides to paint a self-portrait on his wall. By the time he's strangled by Moses, it's looking really good.
  • Hypocrite: Torments every other death row inmate in the block for their impending dooms even though he is a coward who fears his own well-deserved demise. He's also the only one of them to freak out when faced with the mere prospect of dying while the others at least make an effort to be brave and go to their deaths with pride.
  • Jerkass: Interestingly, he's one of the only people seen on death row not to be even vaguely sympathetic.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: He actually gets a brief humanizing moment when his execution date draws near and he confesses to Sister Pete that he is absolutely terrified, indicating that he might have some sympathetic traits after all. But as soon as he's back on death row and Moses tries to reach out to him and show him kindness, confessing that he's scared too and understands what Miles is going through, it's back to business as usual and Moses finally kills him after one racist remark too many.
  • Karma Houdini Warranty: He killed his family and got off with only ten years in an institution after pleading insanity. But when he got remarried and killed his new family, the trick didn't work the second time, and he got sent to death row.
  • Karmic Death: Gets strangled to death by Moses Deyell after calling him "Negro" one too many times. Moses punches right through the self-portrait he's so proud of. Even better, he punches right through the mouth, leaving a gaping hole, reflecting Miles' own massive mouth.
  • Kick the Dog: He never lets up on this, with Moses being his favorite target and Miles taking pleasure in forcing him to endure endless racial abuse just because he can.
  • Offing the Offspring: He does this twice, murdering his children with two different women.
  • Pater Familicide: His modus operandi and what got him sent to death row.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: About half of his dialogue consists of throwing racial slurs at Moses and he's also incredibly homophobic towards Ginzburg.
  • Two First Names: Mark and Miles are both common first names.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Has a particularly pathetic one right before he has to choose his method of death, hiding under his blanket and crying like a baby. Normally this was humanise a character, but for Miles it just serves to make him look even more pathetic.
  • White Hair, Black Heart: How curious that one of the worst white supremacists in the show is the only inmate with shiny, silvery hair.
  • Would Hurt a Child: He's on death row for murdering his own kids and it's not the first time he did so either.

    Wick

Fred Wick

Played By: Chazz Menendez

A member of the Aryans.

  • Recurring Extra: He's a recurring background character.
  • Red Shirt: He only comes into focus so he can die during the aging pill arc.

    Jenkins

Carl Jenkins

Played By: Joshua Harto

A rookie member of the Aryans.

  • Butt-Monkey: He's forced to try to kill Said and winds up locked in solitary for it, constantly taunted by Robson the whole time.
  • Driven to Suicide: He kills himself so he won't have to face Robson's wrath for ratting in him to Glynn.
  • New Meat: He's clearly a rookie of the Aryans, enough of one that Robson is able to threaten him with ease.
  • Sadistic Choice: Given the choice between killing Said (and possibly facing either murderous retribution or the death penalty) or being subjected to Aryan retribution for refusing. He takes the Third Option after ratting out Robson and kills himself instead.
