Prisoners
Hottie
The protagonist. He is one of nine people who were kidnapped by Devil worshippers and sent to Hell.
- Hello, [Insert Name Here]: You can name him at the beginning.
- Heroic Mime: Aside from two lines in the beginning, he doesn't speak.
- Unwitting Pawn: To Emokinia, who played the part of a Decoy Damsel to free herself.
Yokoyama
A woman who got kidnapped and sent to Hell. She is the first captive that Hottie meets.
- Not Quite Dead: Subverted; she initially seems to come back like Daizaemon did, only to promptly be killed for real by Emokinia.
- Sacrificial Lamb: She gets killed by the monsters early on to show how serious the situation is.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: She doesn't get many lines before being killed by the monsters.
Nakagawa Daizaemon
A man who got kidnapped and sent to Hell. Unlike the others, he is of a more investigative nature.
- Amnesiac Hero: Like the others, he has no memory of what happened before he was tossed into Hell.
- Big Damn Heroes: Just when Emokinia has Hottie in her sights and is about to mutilate him, Daizaemon returns and throws holy water at her, allowing Hottie to deliver the finishing blow.
- He Knows Too Much: He gets killed by Emokinia because he remembered who she was.
- I Know Karate: He jokes to Chief Yamada that he was able to subdue the cultists using his Shaolin Kungfu, which scared them so much that they all exploded on the spot. (Of course, the real reason for their deaths is Emokinia's powers.)
- The Infiltration: He mentions in the ending that he infiltrated the satanist cult undercover to bust them for their activities. Unfortunately, he got busted somehow and ended up becoming one of their sacrifices.
- The Lancer: Once he meets Hottie, he becomes his greatest ally in escaping Hell.
- Not Quite Dead: He gets killed by Emokinia in Hell, but because it was his soul that died and not his physical body, he is somehow able to return to his body in the human world in time to save Hottie from Emokinia.

- Finally! How many centuries have passed since I died? Anyway, the air here is really... Smelly ill~~~~~ Pollution hate max~!
The main prisoner of Hell, who ordered her followers to sacrifice nine people to her every full moon so one of them may free her. She disguised herself as Domoto Sadae to trick someone into opening the cage she is trapped behind, as only a human can open it.
- Big Bad: She is the one who ordered the cultists to kidnap and sacrifice people to her, resulting in the protagonist Hottie being among them.
- Bad Boss: She kills her followers right after they free her for being humans.
- Bond Villain Stupidity: Instead of just killing Hottie with her psychic powers, she decides to let him run away and toy with him a bit before finally getting tired and deciding to end him. This gives Daizaemon time to return to his body and pull a Big Damn Heroes, throwing holy water at her and giving Hottie the chance to banish her with the Dagger of Truth. Through she survives, she has much less power.
- Cute Is Evil: She looks just like a cute anime schoolgirl despite being the Devil who wants to Kill All Humans.
- Decoy Damsel: She pretends to be an innocent captive girl trapped inside a cage, just like the other captives of the cult, but is actually the Devil who is tricking Hottie into freeing her.
- Devil in Disguise: She poses as normal schoolgirl Domoto Sadae to trick Hottie into freeing her from her prison.
- Karma Houdini: Even though she is stopped from killing Hottie, she still escapes and swears to regain her power.
- I Lied: She promised her followers that if they freed her, she would bring happiness and prosperity. Less than a minute after she is freed, she kills them all for annoying her.
- Just Toying with Them: She chases Hottie around the facility even though she could easily kill him with her Mind over Matter powers. This costs her dearly when Daizaemon shows up and defeats her.
- Mind over Matter: She blows up most of her followers without lifting a finger, and slams the remaining two into a wall with her mind. She also invades Hottie’s mind during the final battle.
- Psychopathic Womanchild: She talks like a typical cutesy anime girl, but is still the Devil.
- Satan: The Devil herself, as she confirms.
- Sealed Evil in a Can: She was imprisoned in Hell and directed her followers to sacrifice people to free her.
- Two Aliases, One Character: She is Domoto Sadae, and is the Devil in Disguise, Emokinia.
- Ungrateful Bitch: Her followers went through a lot of effort to free her, but almost as soon as she is freed, she kills them all for standing too close to her and being too noisy.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: She kills her followers and attempts to kill Hottie after they free her, because they are now useless to her.
Devil Worshippers
- Yes! It's me my Lord! We have always been waiting for you, my dear Lord!
The cultists who kidnap people every full moon to sacrifice them to the Devil.
- Cult: Of Devil worshippers, sacrificing nine people to the Devil every year.
- Evil Is Not a Toy: They sacrifice nine people a year in the hopes of freeing the Devil from imprisonment, having been promised that this will bring the world great happiness. Once they finally succeed, she promptly slaughters them just for getting too close to her.
- In the Hood: They all wear black cloaks.
- Unwitting Pawn: Emokinia used them to free herself, promising happiness that she never intended to give them in exchange.
Shurafarl
A monster with a blue dress and red mask.
- Ambiguously Evil: Since she never speaks, it is hard to say if she is a minion of the Devil or is a guardian trying to stop people from freeing the Devil by killing those sent to Hell.
- The Heavy: While not the main antagonist (that would be the Devil), she is the one who gets in Hottie's way the most.
- Malevolent Masked Woman: She wears a red mask that looks somewhat like a scream mask.
- Silent Antagonist: The only thing that comes out of her mouth is a strange moan every time she sees you.
- White Hair, Black Heart: She has white hair and is a monster who chases after people in hell to kill them.
