The main protagonist group of Operation: Chick Click Merlene Aizawa/Agent C4T
Merlene Aizawa/Agent C4T
A popular girl at Vista High, who is known to be able to do everything. Her cool-headed and friendly nature hides severe self-doubts. She lives alone with her abusive father thanks to the money she makes from her job. With her powers she can assume the secret identity of Agent C4T. As the team’s unofficial but excellent leader, she supports her teammates with her quick-thinking and magically-enhanced sharpshooting skills.- Animal Motifs: Her secret identity is based on a cat.
- Dual Wielding: She summons a set of two pistols to fight.
- French Maid Outfit: One of her jobs before she joined Chick Click was as a maid and, despite demanding otherwise, pictures of that time do exist online. In Chapter 5 she goes undercover as a maid for a high society party.
- Pinball Projectile: Her magic allows her to control how bullets bounce off of surfaces, creating this effect.
- Playboy Bunny: Chapter 1’s Bad End has her brainwashed and aged down into the young kind bunny girl Merle, though her outfit resembles more an innocent bunny onesie.
- Travel to Projectile: In Chapter 1 she uses special electric bullets that pull her towards whatever she shoots them at.
- Trick Bullet: Has quite the variety in bullets in different colors with different effects.
- Unwilling Roboticization: Chapter 3 has her turned into the robotic knight Cobalt.
Sera Nakamura/Agent H4WK

A popular gaming streamer with many fans in- and outside of Vista High. She’s quirky, rash, quippy and always ready to make advances on her crush, Eira. As Agent H4WK she's the team's sniper, who additionally utilizes her magical control over gravity to freeze opponents in place.- Animal Motifs: As Agent H4WK she's based on a hawk.
- Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: Even when on the job as an agent she can end up easily distracted and she's often shown fidgeting around with her hands, sometimes even when brainwashed.
Word of God confirmed she has ADHD. - Casanova Wannabe: She constantly tries to make advances on Eira, but only succeeds very few times.
- Friendly Sniper: The team’s sniper and a good-natured friend to them all.
- Playboy Bunny: Chapter 1’s Bad End has her brainwashed into the moody goth bunny girl Serana.
- Unwilling Roboticization: In Chapter 3 she's turned into the robotic huntress Mercury.
Irie Hotaru/Agent F0X

The youngest member of the team, who is a junior at Vista High. With her excitable nature and immature naivety she's seen as a younger sister by the other team members. She lives at the local fire department and is being raised by its firefighters. A rare condition makes her susceptible to cold temperatures. As Agent F0X she uses her passion for pyrotechnics as the team’s demolitions expert.- Animal Motifs: She's based on a fox and even shows that in her civilian outfit with a fake foxtail.
- The Corruption: Chapter 4 has her turned into the Moth Queen by a mysterious substance, which in the process also amplified her worst emotions.
- French Maid Outfit: In Chapter 5 she goes undercover as a maid for a high society party.
- Playboy Bunny: Chapter 1’s Bad End has her brainwashed and aged up into the motherly bunny girl Iria.
- Unwilling Roboticization: In Chapter 3’s Bad End she's turned into a robotic copy of Dr. Chibana’s daughter Alice.
- Weaksauce Weakness: Her rare condition, Gelido Sanguine or “cold-blooded syndrome”, makes her body unable to generate because of which she’s very susceptible to cold temperatures to the point she developed a fear of them.

The daughter of the very rich and influential Ei family, who attends the prestigious Setsuri Academy. Outwardly she may appear cold and emotionless for most of the time, but she has a great sense of justice and is willing to risk everything for her friends. In her limited free time she investigates potentially shady machinations her family might be involved in. Her magical powers grant her enhanced strength and the ability to create duplicates, which she uses as Agent W0LF to protect her teammates.- Animal Motifs: Agent W0LF is clearly based on a wolf.
- Kuudere: Most people only see her as cold and emotionless. Even the narration often directly calls her a kuudere.
- Not So Stoic: She usually is seen as cold and emotionless, but Chapter 5 shows what happens if you make her angry enough for her rage to completely boil over as she verbally destroys Edward Yamamoto.
- Playboy Bunny: Chapter 1 has her brainwashed into the ditzy bunny girl Ei-Ei. For unexplained reasons she kept the costume.
- Self-Duplication: Her magic allows her to create perfect copies of herself.
- Unwilling Roboticization: Chapter 3 has her be infected with nanotechnology and slowly turn into a robot. In the respective Bad End said transformation into the ditzy android Rosie gets to finish.

Fellow students of Vista High, the high school attended by Merlene, Sera and Irie. Saffi Reina

A student at Vista High and a friend of Merlene. A mousy girl with tanned skin, pink eyes behind glasses and silver hair in twintails. She's a member of the school’s Star Watching Club.- Ambiguously Gay: In Chapter 6 an internet troll revealing secrets of everyone states that she's interested in girls, but still in the closet about it.
- Animal Motifs: Her character design and almost literally mousy nature invoke a mouse motif. Fittingly the cat-themed Merkene can't help but tease her.
- Unwilling Roboticization: Chapter 3 has her and the rest of her school year group turned into 1R0N units, identical female robots.
Poppy Enomota

A student of Vista High and a friend of Merlene and Sera. An over-enthusiastic girl with red hair and green eyes, who is a member of the school’s cheerleading team and always tries her best to improve it.- Does Not Know His Own Strength: Her grip strength is high enough that her hugs leave magical super spy Merlene gasping for air. A trait she seems to be completely oblivious to.
- The Glomp: She has a penchant for tackle-hugging others.
- Unwilling Roboticization: Chapter 3 has her and the rest of her school year group turned into 1R0N units, identical female robots.
Setsuri Academy
Students of Setsuri Academy, a private school for the rich that’s attended by Eira. Sophia Oma
Sophia Oma
A princess from a foreign european country who also attends Setsuri Academy. She hates the princess life and widely prefers walking around tomboyish outfits. Her and Eira bonded over their shared distaste of the rich peoples’ lifestyle.- Tomboy Princess: She dislikes the princess life and rather walks around in jeans shorts and basecap.

A family friend of the Eira family, who tours around as an idol singer. Despite pretending to be a ditzy airhead, she's actually a calculating individual and a chronic liar, who doesn't stop from using amoral methods to get what she wants.The Agency
Fellow members of the unnamed government agency the girls are working for. Ms. Himawari

The handler of the agents. A woman in her mid-to-late 30s, who shows the girls the same amount of motherly care she does to her actual children. After some close calls during missions, she begins to more closely monitor the agents and support them over comms.- The Handler: Her official designation in the Chick Click program.
- Mission Control: After some close calls during early chapters, she starts to more closely observe the agents during missions and takes on this role.
- Motherly Side Plait: A motherly woman who wears her hair in what is explicitly stated to be a motherly braid.
Coco Ojo
Coco Ojo
A technician working for The Agency by supplying the agents with her invented gadgets. While she may appear like a small girl with brown and white hair in twintails, she’s actually much older. She has a massive sweet tooth and barely functions without it.- Genius Sweet Tooth: A genius inventor who pretty much needs sugar to function.
- Older Than They Look: She’s said to be older than her small size implies, though an actual age or even range hasn’t been given yet.
