Jason Burke
Leader of Omega Force and captain of the Phoenix.
Species: Human (enhanced)
- Berserk Button: Hurting a member of his crew or threatening Earth.
- Bio-Augmentation: Jason has had himself enhanced by Doc in order to combat species much stronger and faster than any normal human.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Jason's temper has become harder to reign in due to his enhanced adrenal glands.
- The Kirk: To Crusher's McCoy and Lucky's Spock.
- Only Sane Man: Jason often has to put up with the crew's antics.
- Pro-Human Transhuman: Jason is very protective towards Earth even with all his enhancements making him not completely human anymore.

First officer of the Phoenix.

Second officer of the Phoenix

- Bodyguarding a Badass: Lucky makes it his personal responsibility to ensure Jason's safety, much to the latter's consternation.
- The Spock: To Jason's Kirk and Crusher's McCoy.
Twingo
Ship's engineer and Jason's best friend.

Kage
Code slicer and (mostly) reformed criminal.
Species: Veran
- The Cracker
- Reformed, but Not Tamed: Kage still occasionally engages in minor criminal activity.
- Took a Level in Badass: Kage has become a fairly competent soldier by the events of Legends Never Die.
