The hot-headed, short-tempered yet kind-hearted main protagonist of the series who likes retro things.- Butt-Monkey: There are many episodes featuring him getting hurt, cursed or belittled in one way or another. And even avoiding that, he has to deal with an enormous cast of annoying and downright troublesome characters he created in the first place. However, it’s arguably well-deserved in most cases given that he’s a major Jerkass in most of the episodes and often brings this upon himself.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: NostalgiaSquare has acted like a Jerkass on more than a few occasions, can be extremely selfish, bratty and egotistical, and is pretty infamous for having a dangerous Hair-Trigger Temper, but he does care about the people around him and deeply cares about his creations. Although this isn’t always the case
- Protagonist Title: He's the titular character of the series.
