The Three Main Heroines

    Natamin

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/natamin_face_tropes_6.png
A Half-Elf who gets bound up in things.

Natamin is the protagonist of the game. She is a Half-Elf who works at the Freeport mages academy part-time. She frequently goes on adventures around the world of Norrath. As the game begins, she gets caught up in a series of events which seem to come out of nowhere one week-end, and continue to escalate and get bigger as time progresses.

  • Academic Athlete: Despite being a teacher at a school, a trained mage and someone who prefers a robe to armor, Natamin maintains a strong, slim physique for her adventures.
  • Aggressive Submissive: Natamin is outgoing, assertive and quick to speak her mind or take action. Though usually, when bound up she tends to become more compliant, blushing at her situation or in some game-over scenarios, even just going with the flow because she enjoys it. Many artwork's shown in the game as part of the story also show her blushing even though she is bound.
  • Barefoot Captives: The majority of the time Natamin loses and a game over is displayed, she is barefoot and has her footwear removed. Many story images also show her without footwear when she is in distress or captive to others.
  • Damsel in Distress: Several times throughout the game, Natamin is taken prisoner and put into perilous situations while adventuring with her party or solo.
  • Damsel out of Distress: Though given the fact that she's a trained adventurer, she's just as likely to get out of the peril on her own as to get rescued.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Throughout the game, Natamin will frequently make jokes at others expense, point out errors in planning or thought processes or just be sarcastic when dealing with people.
  • The Heroine: While Natamin doesn't go on adventures to be a hero she frequently finds herself having to make the right choice, help people, speak up or better others situations across the game. Her official bio states she has the "Neutral Good" character alignment.
  • Magical Barefooter: If the player wears the Bikini or the Adventure robe without boots, Natamin qualifies.
  • Pointy Ears: As a half-elf, Natamin has small but pointy ears.
  • Summon Magic: All of Natamin's magic attacks are summons of some kind. Some she earns by leveling up, others can be gained by buying or earning scrolls that unlock new summons.
  • Will They or Won't They?: Natamin and Ardala have clear tension and hesitation towards each other. Usually expressing it and using it as an excuse to fight and bind one another up. This is resolved towards the end of the game.

    Leona

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/leona_face_tropes.png
A very naughty succubus

Leona is a succubus, part of a prestigious family in the demons' realm, who was summoned to Norrath by Natamin some time in the past. She quickly took a liking to the Half-Elf, and became part of her family.

  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Downplayed. She's not rude or aggressive (except with the people who threaten her wives). However she's still the most outwardly perverted of the main trio, can be quite indiscreet when it comes to people's private thoughts, and quite grabby when it comes to personal boundaries. Still, she deeply loves her wives, and would do anything to keep them safe.
  • Let's Get Dangerous!: You can tell she's serious when assuming her full demon form.
  • One-Winged Angel: When she's actually mad, she has a full demon form that she uses in battle.
  • Playing with Fire: Her main magic element is fire.
  • The Tease: Well, she is a succubus after all. Leona is flirty, seductive, and teasing with her wives, and sometimes even with strangers.
  • Telepathy: As a succubus, she can read other people's minds, though usually she's more interested in their kinky "naughty" thoughts.
  • Violently Protective Girlfriend: She's very protective of Natamin, and even more of Xakra, and won't hesitate to use brute force to defend them. When she's pushed too far, she'll even use her powerful full demon form.
  • Whip of Dominance: Her weapon is a whip, fitting for a succubus with a domineering and perverted personality.

    Xakra

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/xakra_face_tropes.png
A young member of an extinct race

Xakra is a being created by the Goddess Terris Thule. An Artificial Akhevan, she's meant to be the first member of her extinct race revived and set upon Norrath. Some times prior to the game, Xakra was entrusted to Leona and the P'artak family by her goddess mother. A kind and good-natured young woman, Xakra is eager to discover a world that's completely new to her with her wives Leona and Natamin, and her husband Gannor.

  • Bare-Fisted Monk: She uses martial arts and Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs with her four arms to fight.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: She's the nicest girl of the main trio, but she will become a dreadful foe if her loved ones are in danger.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: She is very much a good person while wielding a number of shadow and dark elemental powers.
  • Flawed Prototype: Terris Thula actually reveals that, as the first Artificial Akhevan, her lifespan is short, and she was meant to be replaced by Kela at some point.
  • Multi-Armed and Dangerous: She has four arms, which allows her normal attacks to strike twice. Her final weapon bumps this up to four hits.
  • Nice Girl: The nicest one of the main characters. She's a good-natured young woman eager to discover the world. She's the only main character mentioned to have the Lawful Good character alignment in her official bio.
  • Nightmare Fetishist: She's the daughter of the Goddess of Nightmares, so it shouldn't be a surprise. She actually thinks the Field of Bone is a nice-looking place to visit.

Allies

    Gannor

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gannor_tropes.png
The lazy Avatar of the God of Valor

Born an other age ago, Gannor once was a feared warlord before he turned over a new leaf. He's the Avatar of the God of Valor, a poweful being who can defeat entire crews with ease, but is also incredibly lazy.

  • Big Damn Heroes: He comes several times to Natamin's aid when she's in a perilous situation.
    • He shows up with Xakra, Pollyroll and Leona in the nick of time to rescue Natamin and Ardala as they're about to Walk the Plank after they were captured by Rose and Ardala's mutinous crew.
    • Played for Laughs. There's an other occurrence of him showing up to rescue Natamin after she was kidnapped, defeating Ardala's entire pirate crew in the process. However, this time it's because Ardala "kidnapped" Natamin so that they could share a romantic kinky bondage-related moment, and he most likely was jealous.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: He's a Lazy Bum, but make no mistake. He IS the Avatar of the God of Valor. When he's fought, he's an Hopeless Boss Fight, and he can defeat Ardala's pirate crew all by himself without much trouble.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: He doesn't like much when Ardala kidnaps his wife Natamin, as he knows it's basically their way of flirting with each other. However, he proposes to Take a Third Option to solve the situation: He asks Ardala to marry Natamin, Leona, Xakra, and he.
  • Lazy Bum: He's glad to spend all his time lounging in his house, except the few moments he comes to rescue his wives (usually Natamin). His character bio even describes his character alignment as "Good Lazy".

    Polyroll

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tropes_polyroll.png
A vampire Burynai who lives in Natamin's basement

A member of the infamous Clan Lunchmunch. Pollyroll served as its Shaman before asking Warlord Chosooth to give him the gift of Vamprisim. He is now a fifth generation vampire and one of the most powerful Burynai in existence. Like all members of Luncmunch he lives off Natamin and is prone to eating, sleeping, and being lazy. Lastly he is attracted to anything "Shiney". He's most active at night but can go out during the day.

  • Beware the Silly Ones: He looks like a cuddly toy and rarely acts threatening, but he's one of Natamin's most consistent allies with a wide variety of magic, buffs and healing abilities.
  • Friendly Neighborhood Vampire: Even though Polyroll is a vampire, he shows very few signs of being a predator or in need to hunt others and drink blood. He mentions he can supress his hunger by pigging out on normal food, and is Natamin's best friend during the course of the game.
  • Ninja Pirate Robot Zombie: He's a Burynai (part of a humanoid badger-like species) who's at the same time a shaman and a vampire.
  • The Red Mage: He uses both offensive and healing spells.
  • Un Evil Laugh: A weird "Bwahaha!". According to Natamin, he's not laughing. He's actually SAYING: "Bwahaha!".

    Nevaeh
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nev_face_tropes.png
Leona's Older Sister And Trouble Maker

Leona's older sister

  • Badass Longcoat: Nevaeh sports a stylish black, open trench coat
  • Bare-Fisted Monk: Nevaeh uses powerful multi-striking melee attacks.
  • Cool Big Sis: Nevaeh is Leona's older sister and shares many of the traits she does. She gets along easily with everyone in the party and even knows gods like Quellious. She is a key reason the party is able to get to the final level in chapter 12.
  • Good All Along: During the events of chapter 10 Nevaeh pretends to be an evil villain and kidnaps Natamin and Leona. It turns out this was just a harmless prank to get Gannor's attention since she likes to tease him. Xakra is surprised by this turned of events when she figures it all out.
  • Snakes Are Sexy: Nevaeh's base form is a human looking woman with red eyes. However her full demonic form is a Demonic Lamia
  • The Tease: She's just as bad if not worse than her little sister, Leona.
  • Telepathy: She can read thoughts just like Leona and demonstrates this on Xakra when they first encounter each other.
  • Overly-Long Tongue: One of Nevaeh's facial expressions is her sticking out her tongue. It's long and snake like.

    Kincade

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/face_tropes_kincade.png
A Runaway Little Sister

A young succubus who fled her home because she couldn't stand her sisters' teasings anymore.

Antagonists and Rivals

    Alicia

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alicia_face_tropes_0.png
A kinky burglar who loves kidnapping and ransoms

A professonal burglar and kidnapper who crosses paths with the main characters and becomes a rival to Ardala.

  • Hand Gagging: If any of the characters fall into Alicia's traps during chapter 12 she handgags them and removes them from the party.
  • The Kindnapper: Alicia is a burglar, but she also kidnaps people with the intent to ransom them to make gold.
  • Kinky Cuffs: If you beat Alicia she Is cuffed to her bed and left alone. At first she laments her situation but Lua and Aoi both show up and snuggle with her.
  • Kinky Role-Playing: If you lose to Alicia during chapter 12 she Puts a collar on Xakra as well as a dog ear headband and makes her play the role of a pet. The game over image is Alicia walking Xakra on all sixes.
  • Power Dynamics Kink: Alicia absolutely enjoys being in full control of her captives. If you lose to her during her burglar encounter she binds and gags Natamin and Ardala together. And during chapter 12 she has kidnapped Lua and Aoi from the game A Drows Life and is preparing to make them dinner and has plans to have fun with them and ransom them when the weekend ends.
  • Recurring Boss: Alicia can be encountered three times during the game.
  • Slave Collar: Alica puts one on all the characters if you lose to her during chapter 12.
  • Trap Master: Alicia's home is filled with traps in the event a captive escapes or in the event someone tries to break in.

    Ardala

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ardala_face_tropes.png
A Pirate who loves what they do

Supposedly a pirate captain, Ardala acts in reality more like a burglar, something which annoys her crew to no end. In her civilian identity, she's called Dala, and is actually one of Natamin's neighbours. Her attempt to steal a legendary spear will set in motion a series of events which will lead Natamin into an epic adventure.

  • Anti-Villain: She's a thief and a burglar who proudly robs any house she can, but she never tries to truly harm anyone in the process. Her way of getting rid of Natamin is to bind and gag her, then leave her somewhere out of the way so that she can flee in peace. After a few encounters, her confrontations with Natamin become some sort of friendly competitions - and then Belligerent Sexual Tension and Foe Romance Subtext of which both are totally aware.
  • Dating Catwoman: She and Natamin frequently come across over the course of the game. Gradually, during these confrontations, a romantic tension will emerge between them. The late pirate encounters basically become their way of courting each other.
  • Hazy-Feel Turn: She ultimately becomes an ally of Natamin after the latter helps her defeat her mutinous crew and regain control of her pirate ship, in exchange of a ride. However, she doesn't stop her robberies.
  • Navel-Deep Neckline: Ardala's jacket is actually open all the time, leaving her entire cleavage and some of her stomach exposed.
  • Starter Villain: She's the main antagonist of the early part of the game, and her theft of the Legendary Spear kickstarts the plot. Indeed, Natamin tries to stop her during the robbery, as Ardala accidentally broke into her cave when trying to dig a tunnel leading to her neighbor's house, and then Natamin goes after Ardala to try to arrest her. However, as a threat, Ardala quickly gets upstaged by Hikinami, the next Arc Villain. Moreover, after she loses her pirate ship, Ardala becomes a lot less threatening. While she still can be fought afterwards, she becomes something akin to a rival.
  • Will They or Won't They?: Natamin and Ardala have clear tension and hesitation towards each other. Usually expressing it and using it as an excuse to fight and bind one another up. This is resolved towards the end of the game.

    Box Ma'am

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/box_tropes.png

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/doomsar_face_tropes_2.png

  • Evil Sorcerer: Doomsar has a wide variety of evil and undead magics at his disposal.
  • Evil Twin: Gannor and Doomsar are twin brothers, hatched from matching eggs. Doomsar pursued immortality though lichdom while Gannor received it through becoming an Avatar to his god.
  • Get Out!: He yells this at Lara and the cast at the end of chapter 11 as he orders them all out of his lair.
  • Good All Along: It turns out Doomsar Invaded Natamins Dream under the pretense to destroy it to save all of Norrath, but it would kill her in the process. However it is really revealed that Doomsar did this to get Natamin into the dream so she could collapse it herself and end the threat. A dirty trick but it worked. Doomsar also saves Xakra. Since her body is a prototype with limited time he says if she soul bonds with another it will continue to exist. At Leona and Xakra's request he bonds the pair and saves Xakra.
  • Final Boss: He's the final antagonist of the game. Natamin fights him during a Duel Boss.
  • Our Liches Are Different: Doomsar is an Iksar Lich who has been around for several hundred years. He keeps two glowing magical gems in his eyes and moves his head around to give certian facial expressions. He is a powerful magic user and commands a legion of undead. His lair is in a realm somewhere outside of the plane of Norrath.

    Evils Grumblepaws

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/evils_face_tropes.png
A bully Teen Badger

The leader of Clan Bonedigger, a group of aggressive Burynai and Clan Lunchmunch's rival.

  • A Child Shall Lead Them: He's actually a teenager, which explains his childish behaviour. Hikinami even compares him to a spoiled brat.
  • Arc Villain: He's the antagonist of Chapter 4, as he comes across the legendary Spear, and refuses to give it back.
  • Large Ham: He's clearly having the time of his life when he's playing the part of the villain with the stolen Spear. He and Polyroll engage in Ham-to-Ham Combat, much to Natamin's annoyance.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: His first name is "Evils".
  • Not-So-Harmless Villain: He shares the other Burnyai's quirky way of speaking and obsession with anything "Shiney". At heart, he's also a bratty teenager and a bully. He actually cries and complains that the characters are mean when they force him to drop the legendary Spear. However, in a battle, he's still a force to be reckoned with. He can stand up against four trained adventurers at the same time.
  • Un Evil Laugh: A weird "Bwahaha!". According to Natamin, he's not laughing. He's actually SAYING: "Bwahaha!".

    Hikinami

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hikinami_face_tropes.png
A Half-Elf Paladin who takes everything seriously

The leader of a troupe of bounty hunters called the Sword-Sell Mercenary Company, Hikinami is a paladin at heart. She believes in fighting for justice and catching the criminals, but ends up at odds with Natamin's family when they go after the same stolen Epic Weapon as her.

  • Arc Villainess: She's one for the third chapter, as the leader of the rival mercenary company trying to stop Dariana and retrieve the stolen legendary Spear at the same time as Natamin. She returns in chapter 8 as the leader of the Dark Elf forces attacking Kelethin.
  • Climax Boss: For chapter 8. She's fought during the climax of the Dark Elves' assault against Kelethin, at a moment when the stakes have never been so high. At first, Natamin only has Natami to help her. Then, Xakra arrives during the boss fight. Then Leona arrives to the rescue, just as Hikinami draws an epic weapon. Then after her defeat, it's revealed that she was possessed by the God of Hate all along, and the latter appears for the second stage of the battle.
  • Combat Medic: As a paladin, she uses both sword techniques, and healing spell and status buff.
  • Fallen Heroine: Hikinami is a devout Paladin of the Marr Twins, the Gods of Valor and Love, as well as Tunare the Goddess of Life. She is left for dead by Natami, and saved by the God Of Hate and becomes a Death Knight and vows revenge.
  • Forgotten Fallen Friend: Justified to an extent, since she never was a friend of Natamin and her family, only an ally of circumstances. Hikinami is left for dead at the end of the first confrontation with Natami. The party doesn't give much thought to her afterward, even during the rematch against Natami. It's addressed later by the story, as this is actually one of the motivations of Hikinami's Face–Heel Turn.
  • Guest-Star Party Member: She briefly joins the party during the last part of Chapter 4, as they have a common enemy with Evils Grumblepaws who stole the legendary Spear.
  • Heel–Face Revolving Door: At first, she's a Hero Antagonist after the same Spear as the heroines. When Evils Grumblepaws seizes the weapon, she helps Natamin and her wives as they have a common enemy. She is left for dead after the first battle against Natami, and the God of Hate takes advantage of her anger to corrupt her and to turn her into a Death Knight. However, after she's defeated during the siege of Kelethin, Tunare and the Marr twins take her with them to cleanse the corruption. During the final battle, she's back on Natamin's side.
  • Hero Antagonist: She starts out as one. She's the leader of a group of bounty hunters sent to retrieve the Spear stolen by Ardala, and ends up at odds with Natamin because the latter wants to retrieve the same weapon.
  • Knight Templar: While she's on the side of good, she can be a bit overzealous when it comes to track and punish criminals, especially when they're relatively harmless like Dariana.
  • Reluctant Fanservice Girl: Innoruuk curses her during the final battle. Said curse makes her clothes disappear (save for the underwear), and binds her with magic ropes. Hikinami doesn't appreciate all the attention it gets her from Natamin and Nevaeh.

    Iyana

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/iyana_face_tropes_0.png
Naughty Half-Elf Sorceress

A sorceress-for-hire whom Natamin encounters several times during her adventures.

  • Black Magician Girl: A majority Of Iyana's sorcery abilities are for attacking and de-buffing the enemy.
  • The Cameo: Iyana belongs to Gknight13 on DeviantArt.
  • Damsel in Distress: You find Iyana in a cell during the first side mission. She has been taken captive by a Duchess who indulges in all forms of debauchery. While Iyana implies she could have escaped at anytime she was waiting for the odds to be more in her favor. She tests Natamin by calling a guard to fight her and once Natamin wins joins up with her.
  • High-Heel Power: Iyana is always seeing wearing a pair of laced high heels. She is even allowed on the Island Of Tranquility with them. And during one of the combat encounters where Natamin beats her she claims she feels naked without them once threatened with their removal.
  • Hot Witch: While Iyana is technically a sorceress she qualifies. She takes great care of her body and shows off her assets.
  • Kinky Spanking:
    • During chapter 5 you find Iyana in a bungalow with a surfer about to engage in an intimate moment. But once they see Natamin the surfer leaves and Iyana orders Natamin to come closer. If you agree to do so Iyana grabs Natamin and gives her a spanking and asserts her dominance and claims she will do more mistress and slave role-play with Natamin after the bikini contest is concluded.
    • If you lose your encounter with Iyana during the 4th bonus mission She binds and gags Natamin and threatens to spank her with an instructors paddle as she carries her away.
  • Of Corsets Sexy: Iyana wears a blue and black corset that matches her hair and shows off her buxom chest.

    Jarkutol

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jark_face_tropes.png
A Captain Of The Legion and Natami's Enemy

Jarkutol is a high-ranked officer of Mirror Norrath's Legion of Cabilis. She's competing with Natami for Warlord Chosooth's favours.

  • Arc Villainess: She becomes the main antagonist of Chapter 6.
  • Arch-Enemy: She's Natami's personal rival in the Legion of Cabilis.
  • The Captain: Jarkutol's Rank in The Legion Military is Captain, same as Natami. She commands a squad of her own with absolute authority.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: She resents Natami for having won their Warlord's favor, and longs to get rid of her.
  • Sadist: She seems to have a whole laundry list of things she wants to do with Natami if she ever gets the chance. In her gameover she locks Natamin and Natami in an old dungeon knowing no one will ever find them.

    Kela

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kela_face_tropes_6.png
A Daughter Of Nightmares

An other Artificial Akhevan created by the Goddess Terris Thule. Technically, it makes her Xakra's little sister.

  • Bound and Gagged: Kela is bound and gagged at the end of chapter 9 when she fails to re-capture Xakra. Even though Xakra sounds threatening before binding her, it's mostly just to tease her little sister who she leaves bound up and blushing.
  • Guardian Entity: Similar to how Leona was entrusted to protect Xakra, it seems the Nightmare Tyrant encountered and defeated in chapter 9 returns and follows Kela around. However, it doesn't try to stop Quellious from having Kela bound and gagged while on her island.
  • Heel Realization: Kela reflects on what happens during the events of chapter 9 and, without her mother knowing, informs Quellious about what happened in the Plane of Nightmares and the threat it poses to Norrath. As punishment, she is bound and gagged but eventually set free to assist Xakra.
  • Multi-Armed and Dangerous: Kela has two sets of arms, like all members of her race. However, she doesn't know how to use them for melee, like her big sister Xakra. Instead, she fights by ordering others or, once she joins, the main cast uses support shadow abilities that heal and buff.
  • Superior Successor: Terris Thule intends her to be a better version of Xakra.
  • Support Party Member: During the events of chapter 11, Kela informs her grandmother Quellious about what her mother Terris Thule has done. She accompanies Xakra to Doomsars lair and fights alongside Leona, Xakra and Natamin as a support character who heals and buffs the party.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: She becomes kinder after spending some time with her sister during the adventure.
  • Younger Than They Look: Even though Kela looks older and more mature and has more developed horns, she is actually Xakra's younger sister.

    Laranastra
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lara_face_tropes.png
A Former Queen, now a mummy.

Laranastra is a former queen and ruler of Maj'dul. She becomes a mummy to extend her existence and increase her magical abilities under the tutelage of her uncle Faratek who serves Doomsar. She is left as the default leader of Doomsars lair when both are not present and enjoys the feeling of being in charge and giving orders.

  • 0% Approval Rating: It's implied she was encouraged to become an undead and let someone else rule the sands because she was a self-absorbed ruler.
  • Arc Villainess: During the events of Chapter 11, Lara is the main antagonist. She captures Leona and places her in a sarcophagus because she thinks she is lying about her relationship with Doomsar. Once Leona is freed, she uses a control undead spell on Polyroll and forces him to be her “Fur Knight” and fight the party on her behalf.
  • Charm Person: Lara uses a spell called Control Undead and forces Polyroll to accompany her and fight along her side during the boss battle. Despite being under her influence, Polyroll doesn't seem to hold what she did to him against her and even thinks she just needs to get out more and make friends.
  • Forced from Their Home: At the end of Chapter 11, Lara is exiled from Doomsars lair, which has doubled as her home due to her actions of kidnapping and trying to dominate the main party. As a result of this, she ends up at Marrscale Manor with the main cast.
  • Magical Barefooter: Lara does not wear footwear, instead she has foot wraps for her arches.
  • Mummy Wrap: If you lose to her in the final battle, she wraps Natamin, Leona and Xakra in mummy bandages from the neck to the ankle and leaves them to struggle in a sarcophagus.
  • Royal Brat: Lara was the former queen of Maj'Dul and the Sinking Sands. And even though she lost the title when she became an undead mummy, she still acts like her former self. Giving orders, never taking advice and doing things just because she can, even though it makes things worse for her.
  • Sand Blaster: Lara's main attack during her boss bottle is an AOE attack called Sandstorm.
  • Seductive Mummy: Even though Lara is undead and her skin is grey, she has youthful features and a slender built body.

    Natami

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/natami_face_tropes.png
A Mirror Universe version of Natamin in the Military

Long story short, Natamin's Evil Counterpart. Natami is a Mirror Universe version of Natamin. She was born into slavery in Mirror Norrath and sold to the Legion Military. However, she gained the notice of Warlord Chosooth, and eventually won her freedom. Now a captain, she commands her own unit in the Legion of Cabilis, and splits her time between her work and her loving slaves. She becomes involved in the story when she too attempts to take the stolen legendary Spear for herself and for the glory of her Legion.

  • The Captain: This is Natami's official rank in the legion military. She even commands a small squad of misfits and individuals with handicaps who seem to look up to her. Her rank allows her to come and go as she pleases, and even go on personal missions as long as it is in the Legion's interest.
  • Covert Pervert: It's implied that Esuna and Thuna bind and gag her sometimes. Apparently, as a counterpart of Natamin, she's also into bondage.
  • Easily Forgiven: While the party is horrified by her killing of Hikinami, they don't really hold it against her afterwards, with Xakra and Leona even making Natamin promise to not hurt her.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: She genuinely loves her two slaves Esuna and Thuna, whom she treats as family.
  • Hazy-Feel Turn: She eventually ends up helping Natamin, but it's more due to having common enemies. While they part ways in relatively friendly terms, Natami remains part of the Legion, and an opponent of Norrath.
  • Kick the Dog: She's one of the few characters explicitly shown to kill someone, as she slays Hikinami when the latter attacks her to try to prevent her from getting the Spear. Natamin even comments that going as far as killing her foe wasn't necessary, even if it was in retaliation. It later turns out that Hikinami survived, but it wasn't due to a lack of trying from Natami's part.
  • Lady Swears-a-Lot: Natami has a foul mouth, more so than Natamin. No doubt partially from her time in the military and direct way of dealing with people.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: Natami is a trained swordsmen and holds the Rank of Captain in the legion military. She deals with threats directly and is one of the few characters who has killing intent. Thuna is a High-Elf young man who belongs to Natami. He has fair features, a slender frame and even Natamin at first mistakes him for a girl.
  • Mistress and Servant Boy: Natami and Thuna qualify. Even though Thuna is an enslaved High-Elf and does anything Natami asks, she genuinely cares for him.
  • Violently Protective Girlfriend: Natami cranks the dial high on this one. She is even prepared to kill Dark Elves to find Esuna during the assault on Kelethin, even throwing one off the walk which lands in the pond several hundred feet under the tree city, alive but no doubt shaken.

    Morrigan And Lilith

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/morrigan_lilith_tropes_face.png
Double Trouble

Kincade's older sisters.

  • Big Brother Bully: Part of their problem is that they love picking on Kincade. They eventually drop it as Kincade starts to prove herself and after Natamin's party beats them up a few times.
  • Shout-Out: Their names are a nod to the famous succubi of Darkstalkers.

    Rose

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/face_tropes_rose.png
An opportunistic First Mate

Ardala's first mate. Unhappy with the fact that her captain uses her ship as a glorified transport vessel to go from town to town and rob house, she leads a mutiny against her.

  • Arc Villainess: She's the major antagonist of chapter 7, during which Natamin helps Ardala regain the control of her ship in exchange of a ride to Kelethin.
  • Cavalry Betrayal: At the end of chapter 3. Rose causes a mutiny on Dala's ship and becomes the new Captain shortly after they rescue Natamin and Dala
  • Easily Forgiven: After Ardala gets her boat back, Rose goes back to being first mate without any consequences. She even goes with Dala on a burglary under the GOG Tavern.
  • Hazy-Feel Turn: After Natamin helps Ardala regain control of her crew, Rose becomes her first mate again (after spending some time bound and ball-gagged as punishment). Therefore, she follows her captain in her own Hazy-Feel Turn. She becomes an ally of Natamin's team, but remains a criminal.
  • Scoundrel Code: She is forced the wear the 'Pirate Symbol Of Shame'. In her case it's a pirate themed ballgag.
  • The Starscream: She leads a mutiny against Ardala in her first appearance. She becomes loyal again after Natamin's family and Ardala defeat the entire crew.
  • Sword and Gun: Rose fights with a Musket Pistol and a sword.
  • Tea Is Classy: Her skill to gain tp has her drink tea. It's description reads. "What did you expect a pirate to drink? Rum?"

    Winifred

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/face_tropes_winifred.png
A Nun Of Marr whose heart is in the right place, but she's crazy!

A nun of Marr with a thing for "reforming" women.

  • Heel–Face Turn: After her arrest, she later appears again as an ally of Natamin.
  • Guest-Star Party Member: She joins the party during the final Jeeves sidequest.
  • Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: She's quite insistent that everything she does is the will of the god Marr, despite a lack of evidence that Marr is communicating with her. Yet, her each appearance is important to the plot, and she wields a number of strong prayer-based buff abilities in battle.
  • Obliviously Evil: She genuinely thinks that she's doing a favor to the women she drugs, and sells so that they can be "reformed".
  • Suddenly Fluent in Gibberish: She can understand the Pokémon Speak of goblins, which is logical since she's introduced working in one of their establishments.

    Zeah

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zeah_tropes.png
The Dark Elf general who leads the army that attacks Kelethin.

The leader of the Dark Elves forces who invade Kelethin.

  • The Cameo: Zeah is the original character of the artist Zeahdraws, whose art can be viewed on Deviant Art and Twitter.
  • Dressed Like a Dominatrix: Zeah wears a very dominatrix-like outfit as a general. She keeps even though she is a bound prisoner in the GOG tavern.
  • Powerful People Are Subs: After the events of chapter 8, Zeah can be found in the GOG Tavern as a bound server who very much enjoys her job. And during the GOG sidequest, she is one of the prisoners held under the tavern by the Peril Pope. In both situations, she seems very comfortable with her circumstances.
  • Too Kinky to Torture: She actually enjoys being Bound and Gagged, to the point that she doesn't mind it when she's defeated and taken prisoner.
  • Whip of Dominance: Played With. She's a sadistic dark elf with a Dominatrix-theme who fights with a whip, but seems to prefer being submissive.

Other characters

    Contessa

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/contessa_face_tropes.png
A slightly unhinged Guard Captain

The captain of Freeport's guard. She's on the side of the law, but she's also the sort of aggressive person who attacks first, and asks questions later.

  • Action Girl: She's quick to spring into action and a capable fighter and leader.
  • Braids of Action: Contessa has long braided hair that goes down to her legs, and is a dangerous (if slightly unhinged) Action Girl.
  • Bounty Hunter: Contessa attempts to claim the bounty on Princess Suki from Didnapper. She even binds and gags them but Natamin shows up just in time to rescue them.
  • The Captain: Contessa is the Captain of the Freeport Guard. She commands authority but seems to be surrounded by idiots most of the time.
  • Cute and Psycho: Contessa on the surface seems straight forward and normal and even is married with a loving husband. However she has a unhinged side that comes out when she runs out of patience.
  • Dirty Cop: Contessa somewhat abuses her title and authority when she threatens Natamin chapter 2 with Arrest. Though somewhat justified considering the Manor has a demon, a vampire, an avatar to a good god who lives in an evil alligned city. She tells Natamin she'll forget all about it, if she gets the Epic Spear back.
  • Happily Married: Despite all the stresses of her job, she seems happily married with her husband who is named Mr. Star.
  • Impossibly Cool Weapon: Contessa has a spear with a bowstring on it which she uses both as a melee weapon and a means to fire arrows.
  • Just in Time: Contessa shows up during the events of Chapter 12. She assists Natamin by ordering her Guard to fire canons at a Necromancer and clearing the path.
  • Quest Giver: She's the owner of the legendary spear which Ardala steals. She later not so nicely asks Natamin to get it back. Without her, none of the events of the game could have taken place.
  • Sadist: She seems to be knowledgeable with how to tie captives up and even threatens Natamin several times with punishments including stocks and Bastinado.

    The Unknown

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/unknown_face_tropes.png
The behind the scenes orchestrator of everything

The cause and effect of everything that occurs over the weekend.

  • Barbarian Long Hair: She has long bushy hair that goes all the way down to her ankles.
  • Casual Time Travel: She mentions that She observed Norrath fall into a spiral of death and destruction due to the destruction of Kelethin and a war of gods that came about as result. To prevent it she tips a cart over at the start of the game causing Natamin to get home later than usual, allowing her to go after Dala and changing the sequence of events by being involved.
  • Dimensional Traveler: Quellious accidentally says that she is A traveler from outside the Everquest multi-verse.
  • Don't Celebrate Just Yet: Turns out by Stopping the destruction of Kelethin and saving Hikinami, a new sequence of events occurs. One where Terris Thule attempts to replace Xakra and Natamin takes an attack aimed at Leona designed to cause her nightmares to become reality. However since Natamin doesn't have nightmares only day dreams and adventure dreams it causes her dreams to expand to the point they threaten the plane of dreams and nightmares. Unless it is collapsed it will cause the end of all dreams and life on Norrath.
  • Hidden in Plain Sight: The character sprite shows up during key events. Such as the intro sequence, Hikinamis Death at the hands of Natami, and the groups battle against Natami. During the Pirate ship final battle, during the battle of Kelethin. She is always in the background hidden amongst others or half hidden behind tilesets.
  • Supernatural Gold Eyes: While she appears human, she has deep golden colored eyes.
  • Time Rewind Mechanic: In the event the player loses the final battle against Doomsar, the Unknown appears and says she worked to hard for it to end like this. She rewinds time giving the player infinite chances to win and preventing a game over by filling the inventory with items and healing you back to full health.

    Zail

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zail_tropes.png
A Famous Centuar who hires the party

A Centaur who has both brains and brawn.

  • Back for the Finale: Zail is absent from the main story from chapter 3 to 12. However during the final battle he returns along side all the other characters you've met to assist the player.
  • Heroic Build: Zail's upper body is in great shape. The party even ask him how he maintains it since no gym is meant for a Centuar. Zail simply responds "With Style"
  • Mounted Combat: During the final battle, Xakra shows up riding on the back of Zail and assists Natamin.
  • Nerds Are Sexy: Zail mentions he's posed for paintings as a fashion model but he very much enjoys doing bookwork for his job as the overseer of the trade outpost.
  • Quest Giver: Zail asks the party to figure out why people are going missing in the trade outpost. Turns out Winifred was kidnapping them to send to a reform school.

    Reiko

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/reiko_face.png
A misplaced Detective from another world

  • The Cameo: Reiko is the creation of Tsinji on Deviantart.

Gods and Goddesses

    Marr Twins

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tropes_marr_twins.png
The Goddess Of Love and the God Of Valor

Do-gooder gods who seem to be enjoying the events of the game playing out.

  • Love Goddess: Erosilli Marr is the Goddess Of Love on Norrath. And she is able to marry people.
  • The Watcher: Both gods stay back and watch events playout. For the most part it seems they are having fun watching and commenting as things unfold.

    Quellious

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/quellious_face_tropes.png
The Goddess of Tranquility

The Goddess of both Peace and Tranquility. Xakra's grandmother and mentor to the party. She appears in the form of a little girl and oversees a plane of existence called the Isle Of Tranquility where visitors and family are allowed to visit freely. Though very wise and caring she seems to have a naughty side.

  • Little Miss Almighty: Quellious is the goddess of tranquility within Norrath's pantheon of gods. And she seems to be all powerful and knowing in her plane of tranquility where her island resort resides.
  • Powerful People Are Subs: Quellious makes no attempt to escape her bondage and even encourages and reminds Xakra to gag her before leaving during chapter 11.
  • Really 700 Years Old: Quellious has the avatar body of a little girl. However during events in the game she claims she is over one hundred thousand years old.
  • The Tease: Quellious claims she is a goddess and above the kinky BDSM related things mortals do. However on her island she clearly encourages it, enjoys watching it, and several times ties Natamin up with a snap of her finger or has visitors try and bind each other. And even though she is a goddess, on two occasions the player can tie her up and she doesn't use her powers to the escape. The first is during chapter 5's boss selection. The second is during chapter 11 where Xakra fights her and unlocks her ultimate weapon. And she's still tied up during the start of chapter 12 and lets Natamin tease her before she leaves the Island.
  • Trickster Mentor: Quellious helps Natamin and the party several times directly during events in the game. However during chapter 5 She pretends to be three different contestants in the bikini contest who usually ask Natamin to do random things but also giving a combat option if the player doesn't want to. She also drops hints she knows more about events going on then she lets on and in chapter 12 directs the player in the Airship dungeon cryptically, much to Natamins frustration.

    Terris Thule

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/terris_face_tropes.png
The Goddess of Nightmares.

Terris Thule is the Goddess of Nightmares. She also created Xakra and Kela, making her their mother.

  • Abusive Mom: She has her own daughter bound, gagged, and locked in her room.
  • Arc Villainess: Though she's never fought directly, for good reasons since she's a goddess, Terris Thule opposes Natamin and her friends during the events of chapter 9.
  • Cowardly Boss: Terris Thule only fights Leona directly, but firstly orders her guards to kill her. Then after the party to show up to help Leona, Terris Thule makes Nightmare versions to fight for her, before running away and leaving the party to face the Nightmare Tyrant.
  • Evil Plan: Terris Thule is trying to recreate the Akhevan race as a means to increase her power and influence. She created Xakra as a prototype and through her alliance with House Dessan, asked Leona to watch over and take care of her. However Xakra is a flawed prototype with a limited lifespan. So she creates Kela a superior Akhevan without that issue next. All was going to plan until Leona found out.
  • Heel–Face Turn: At first Terris plans to discard and replace Xakra. However after the events of chapter 9 she seems to reflect on what she did and shows up at the last moment to Save everyone by teleporting them out of the collapsing dream.
  • Obviously Evil: She's a faceless Goddess Of Nightmares. So it's to be expected.
  • Parental Favoritism: For plot reasons she chooses Kela over her older sister Xakra.

    Tunare
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tunare_tropes_face.png
The slightly moody Goddess Of Nature

The Goddess Of Life and Nature who is a little stuck up and mood.

  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Tunare has a prickly personality. She acts ungrateful to the party even after they save Kelethin. However she saves Hikinami and removes her corruption. Upon the partys request. Also during the final battle she gives limited assistance, and helps Natamin progress forward.
  • Mother Nature: Tunare's Sphere of Influence is life and Nature itself.

    Innoruuk

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/inny_face_tropes.png
The God Of Hate

The God of Hate. Not a very pleasant fellow.

  • Arc Villain: He's the real master mind behind the assault on Kelethin, and is the Climax Boss of this part of the game.
  • Carry a Big Stick: His weapon is a giant warhammer.
  • The Corrupter: He used Hikinami's anger to turn her into his champion.
  • Dirty Coward: According to Natami, he chooses to not confront the party in person because he's too afraid it would give an opening for his rival gods to strike him. Given the fact that his reaction when said gods arrive is to flee, she's probably right.
  • God of Evil: God of Hate to be precise, but in a very light-hearted idealistic setting. Notably, he's the only important antagonist who doesn't end up having a Heel–Face Turn, becoming a friendly rival, or helping Natamin at one point.
  • The Man Behind the Man: He's actually the true mastermind of the attack on Kelethin.
  • Marathon Boss: Fittingly for a God, even in a weaker state, he has a lot of HPs. Plus, he summons Dark Elf Guards to help him. His boss fight is therefore also an endurance match.
  • Sore Loser: In the optional airship dungeon, one of the minibosses is a minion he sicced against Natamin because he's sore about his previous defeat. During the final, he gets back at Hikinami for overcoming his corruption and punching him... by putting a curse on her that ties her up with magic ropes while clothes disappear (save for the underwear).
  • Worf Had the Flu: To confront the party, he uses a plainer manifestation, a vessel to channel a fraction of his power. Thanks to that, Natamin and her friends actually have a chance to stand up against him.
