Primary Characters
Chris Salaises
- Author Avatar: He's a minifigure modeled after the show's creator both In-Universe and in Real Life.
- Heterosexual Life-Partners: Ian is his best friend and they both deny that they're more than just friends.
- Limited Wardrobe: Only ever wears two outfits.
- Seasons 1-4: Blue pants, and a red-sleeved white shirt with FreeStyle written on it.
- Season 5: Darker pants, same shirt, and a maroon jacket.
Ian Holmquist
- Author Avatar: Similar to Chris, he's a minifigure modeled after his Real Life counterpart.
- Heterosexual Life-Partners: Chris is his best friend and they both deny that they're more than just friends.
- Living a Double Life: In "Crossing Ian", he becomes the mayor of Minilife, which is something he tries to hide from Chris. However, when Chris becomes more and more suspicious of him, he's forced to confess in "Trouble Ian Paradise".
Snowball
- Break the Cutie: He's not happy to hear that vampires are not only treated as mere servants, but also only live for a few years. It doesn't help that his friend Rob, who teaches him this, is slowly approaching the end of his life span.
- Classical Movie Vampire: Chris made him one by adding garlic to his mixture because he believed this is how vampires are supposed to be made.
- Costume Evolution: Switches from traditional vampire clothing to a black and purple hoodie in Season 5.
- Even the Loving Hero Has Hated Ones: He doesn't like Malifios much for tempting him to join the side of evil.
- Friendly Neighborhood Vampire: He's more curious than he is malicious.
- Nice Guy: He's usually very friendly and interested in learning more about people.
- Token Flyer: As a vampire, he has the ability to transform into a bat and fly, which he first does when being chased by an angry mob and learns to do on command in "How I Got Your Laptops".
- Vampires Sleep in Coffins: He sleeps in the very Easy-Bake Coffin he was created in until Season 5 when he gets a new one.
Archie
- Mister Seahorse: He gives birth to twin laptops in "How I Got Your Laptops", though exactly how is never explained.
- Shout-Out: His ability to speak in beeps and chirps draws inspiration from R2-D2 and Bubo.
- Synthetic Voice Actor: Whenever he communicates with Zoey via Cyberspace, he speaks in a text-to-speech voice.
- The Unintelligible: Much like R2-D2, he only speaks in beeps.
Clair Adams
- Damsel in Distress: She's captured by mummy terrorists in her debut episode.
- Put on a Bus: She leaves for the Rowling University of Magic between Season 4 and Season 5.
- The Smurfette Principle: In "One Year Anniversary", she's referred to as "the recurring female character".
Michael Espajelly
- Mad Scientist: When he's not working as a veterinarian, he's working on experiments in the lab of Minilife Studios.
- This Is Unforgivable!: He stops believing that Chris and Ian are his friends when they give him a batch of blueberry bran muffins to help him feel better after breaking up with Clair when she departs, which unbeknownst to them were cursed with a Heisen Hex.
Jack
- Ascended Extra: In the first episode, his only role is to bring out dummies for Chris and Ian to destroy. It's not until "Season 2 Finale!" that he becomes a recurring character.
- Minnesota Nice: Speaks with a Minnesotan accent and is among the nicer characters in the cast.
- Nice Guy: He's a very kind person and he very rarely gets upset (if at all).
Abel Gutierrez
- Determinator: He's inspired by one of his idols, The Tremendous Toriyama, to not give up so easily.
- Gleeful and Grumpy Pairing: He's the jovial student of the snarky Master Quoker.
Master Quoker
- Deadpan Snarker: He's just as sarcastic as he is wise.
- Gleeful and Grumpy Pairing: He's the snarky teacher of the jovial Abel.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He may not be the nicest guy, but he still wants Abel to succeed in his training and to keep his evil side under control.
- Mark of the Supernatural: His eyes glow green whenever he's possessed by the demonic entity known as Mako.
- Self-Imposed Exile: After Mako's possession forced him to cause destruction, he left the planet of Legondo and lived in isolation on Anoza.
- Shadowed Face, Glowing Eyes: In his debut in "Season 3 Finale!", only his yellow eyes are visible on his shadowed face, but starting with Season 4, his mouth is also visible.
- Vocal Evolution: His voice is less squeaky in the Minilife Chronicles episode "The Student and The Master".
- Was Once a Man: He was once a normal sorcerer, but he was transformed by the demonic entity known as Mako.
Todd McFabulous
- Name McAdjective: Todd McFabulous.
- Prophetic Name: According to his sister, Genevieve, his parents were relieved when he came out as gay because it gave the family name some significance.
Genevieve McFabulous
- Name McAdjective: Genevieve McFabulous.
Vince Orrico
- The Comically Serious: He's more sensible than Chris, Ian, and Zach, but he also isn't above having fun every now and then.
- Spiky Hair: Starting with Season 5, he has a hairstyle similar to that of pre-movie Kai.
Zachary Hidalgo
- Dreadful Musician: In "Chris and Ian Shamelessly Promote Themselves", he's proven to be bad at playing the trumpet.
Secondary Characters
The Armless Guy
- Butt-Monkey: He goes through a lot of hardships such as losing his arms, for starters.
- Hidden Depths: He's a surprisingly successful stand-up comedian, though some criticize him for making jokes about his disability.
- Named After the Injury: People call him The Armless Guy because he woke up one day to find that his arms had fallen off.
Newbie
- New Job as the Plot Demands: In "Chris and Ian Fight for Minilife!", he claims that he can't seem to keep a job for longer than a week and is constantly switching jobs as a result.
- Perpetual Smiler: He's rarely seen without a smile on his face.
Wecko Wilkins
- Nervous Wreck: He's overcautious to the point that he easily gets startled.
- No Celebrities Were Harmed: His voice is modeled after that of Terry Jones.
- Running Gag: Whenever he tries to tell anyone his job title, a knight appears and announces it for him.
Death
- Captain Ersatz: He's a Grim Reaper with a high-pitched voice named Gregory, much like Gregg the Grim Reaper. Word of God confirms that the similarities are intentional.
Goshua
- Gold and White Are Divine: He's a god who wears gold and white.
- How the Mighty Have Fallen: He gets stripped of his godly powers and banished to Legondo for revealing Chris and Ian's true purpose.
- I Am Not Shazam : In-Universe. He insists that he's a god and not the God, and he prefers to be called Gosh.
Melvin the Ninja
- Basement-Dweller: He's 28 years old and he still lives with his mother.
Emery Rose
- Beware the Nice Ones: In "The Rose", she lashes out at Monty for ruining Snowball's podcast and destroys Dry Ratzer for ruining her relaxation.
- Damsel in Distress: In "Super Mini-Bros.", she gets abducted by Ratzer.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Heavily implied. Whatever happened in her past, Goshua seems to have wiped those memories from her mind and Monty tries to cover it up to ensure her happiness in the present.
- Healing Factor: She has never been injured for too long presumably thanks to her necklace.
- Magical Accessory: Her heart necklace seems to have regenerative properties.
- Nice Girl: She's a very goodhearted person, even if she can't remember anything from her past.
Nostalgia Bot
- In-Series Nickname: He's nicknamed "Nosty" by most of the people at Town Hall.
- Running Gag: All of his appearances involve him getting deactivated somehow.
- Wind-Up Key: He's powered by one, which frustrates Jacob Brickstud because it's his job to constantly wind him back up.
Rob
- Killed Offscreen: He reaches the end of his life span sometime between the episodes "Longview" and "The Lost Undead".
Antagonists
Baby Crotchrash
- Brainy Baby: Even before experimentation, he's able to write a note explaining why he ran away from his parents, and at a fifth grade level, too.
- Embarrassing Nickname: He doesn't know it's just a nickname until his parents tell him, but he hates how his parents call him Baby Crotchrash just because he keeps getting rashes on his crotch.
- Human Popsicle: He gets sent back in time into an ice age and spends over 4,000 years trapped in ice.
- My Brain Is Big: He gets a larger brain from an experimental growth hormone drug meant to advance him to maturity.
- Who Names Their Kid "Dude"?: He resents his parents for calling him Baby Crotchrash, but he learns that it's just a nickname and his real name is Robert.
The X-Team
- Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: The member of the organization that kills Zoey carries a locket with a picture of his mother and wishes to see her again after he gets arrested.
- Fantastic Terrorists: The organization's mission is to eliminate those who possess special powers.
- Prisoner's Work: After their failure to stop the 28th Legondo World Martial Arts Tournament, several of the organization's members are sentenced to do community service in the park while being watched by robo-guards.
- Put on a Prison Bus: The organization's members get hauled off to prison in "A New Terror Arrives", and some of them reappear in "Happiness Is A Sparked Lake" being forced to do community service in the park.
- Red and Black and Evil All Over: Most of the organization's members have red and black in their color scheme.
Commander X
- Dark Is Evil: He's dressed almost entirely in black and tries to establish supremacy over those who possess special powers.
- Villain: Exit, Stage Left: After his plans to stop the 28th Legondo World Martial Arts Tournament are foiled, he escapes from the arena using his rocket boots.
General Red
- The Dragon: She serves as Commander X's second-in-command.
- Evil Redhead: She has bright red hair and is part of a terrorist organization.
- Eyepatch of Power: She wears an eyepatch on her right eye.
Ratzer
- Captain Ersatz: Considering that he was introduced in an episode that homages Super Mario Bros., he's one of Mouser.
- Dem Bones: He returns as Dry Ratzer in "The Rose".
- Rodents of Unusual Size: He's roughly twice the size of an average minifigure.
- Sinister Shades: He wears a pair of sunglasses that covers his eyes.
