Your Inner Circle

    The Protagonist
The CEO of your business. A highly respected member of society, an unparalleled business mogul, and a daring adventurer with more than enough charisma and attractiveness to spare, until your rival steals said business while you were on vacation and utterly ruins your reputation and standing in society while they're at it. Undeterred by utter ruin and with their loyal retainers Business Maid and Battle Butler by their side, they set off to rebuild the family business, claim back their family's good name, and get revenge (or some good old fashioned Dating Catwoman) with their Rival.
  • The Ace: Is noted to succeed at pretty much everything they have ever attempted in their entire life, along with being astoundingly charismatic and attractive to the point where one random event is the employees being far too distracted by your good lucks to the point of unproductiveness. They have also had all manner of zany and wild adventures in the years past, such as saving the Pope from some disaster and having close ties to almost all of upper-class society.
  • Dating Catwoman: You are totally free to sympathize and honestly flirt with your Rival, should you choose to.
  • Flat-Earth Atheist: You can choose to disbelieve in an afterlife despite the fact that ghosts demonstrably exist, and in fact occasionally harass your workforce.
  • Heroic Comedic Sociopath: Thanks to dialogue options that constantly Crosses the Line Twice.
  • Lovable Sex Maniac: You're free to play your character as a rich, highly successful business mogul with a libido as high as their profit margins and an inversely proportional level of shame, openly admitting to being motivated primarily by sex with their desired individuals and propositioning them even in the most inappropriate of times.
  • Ther Is No Kill Like Overkill: When Max Gentlemen asks him how they managed to acquire the meat of a rare albino rhino for a banquet, you have the option of the protagonist having hunted it themselves. To quote, "It never saw that cannonball coming."
  • Too Dumb to Live:
    • During Summer Starling's initial dates where she's totally not trying to murder you, the Protagonist can gleefully and enthusiastically walk right into all of her death traps and blatantly obvious murder attempts in spite of all the incredibly obvious hints like a sign warning about sharks in the water, Summer openly admitting the muskets you're using are wildly inaccurate, and her bringing you alone to an isolated cabin in the woods that is full of highly flammable material. Of course, the player can just interpret it as them playing along for amusement, knowing full well they could (and can) easily get out alive with their vast and impressive skillset, should it come to that.
    • You have the option of going gleefully head-first into Max Gentlemen's insanely dangerous stunts, such as jousting a train with explosive-tipped lances, fighting the hordes of wild, exotic, and dangerous animals that were on said train, and finally, jumping out of a plane with several tons of TNT strapped to your backs and no parachutes.
  • Upper-Class Twit: It's not mandatory, but the dialogue options give you the opportunity to play a ditzy mess who blunders from one success to another on the backs of your servants.

    Business Maid
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/charcard_businessmaid.png

The first of your two most loyal retainers, Business Maid handles the boring day-to-day drudgery of administration such as taxes and paperwork so you may handle the exciting work like punching your corporate rivals to death in the town square. She is calm, rational, and always professional, though she is not above getting flustered when your dealings get particularly zany or the risks start to involve blood and body parts.

  • Affectionate Nickname: "Rose Gold", given to her by Bonbon when they were in finishing school decades ago and used to this day.
  • Brains and Brawn: The Brains to Battle Butler's Brawn. She does all of the necessary administrative work for you and your executives, such as payroll, taxes, and employee logs (especially considering how many of them you end up losing in a hostile takeover).
  • French Maid: Her default outfit. The game being what it is, it's FAR more sexualized than usual, covering very little skin and exposing much of her cleavage and her ample chest, and her thighs and the straps of her stockings.
  • Everyone Calls Her Business Maid: She does have an actual name (Rosalina Ingold) and Bonbon has an affectionate pet name for her (Rose Gold), but most of the time she is referred to solely by her job title.
  • The Smart Guy: She's not called Business Maid for nothing. She actually has the best handle on the ins and outs of industry of your team, though due to her position she's mostly content to be in the background.

    Battle Butler
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/charcard_battlebutler.png
Voiced by: Kellen Goff

The second of your two most loyal retainers, Battle Butler both brings your tea to you and your guests and the pain to your enemies, all with a smile, perfect poise, and very, very vocal enthusiasm.

  • All There in the Manual: According to a well-hidden placard on the developer's website, Battle Butler does in fact have a proper name: Arthur Armstrong.
  • Battle Butler: It's his title and the name he goes by, and by Jove, does he live up to it.
  • Boisterous Bruiser: His devotion to intercepting danger headed the protagonist's way is only matched by the sheer glee he takes in his work. During one of Pip Whipple's dates, he is wrongfully charged with a crime and sentenced to death; should you choose to throw him into a battle royale with hordes of wild, exotic predators, his reply is "Bless you, Sir/Madame/Boss."
  • Brains and Brawn: The Brawn to Business Maid's Brain. He is best suited for defending your estate, your business, and you, and he does all this happily.
  • Cultured Badass: Despite the brutish, bloody nature of most of his work, Battle Butler is still trained and highly skilled in all the (non-violent) arts and skills a servant of high society must know, like how to brew a damn good cup of tea or get blood out of your clothes before it sets. He even teaches Fanny how to act more refined and ladylike during her dates.
  • Everyone Calls Him Battle Butler: Unlike Business Maid, who is regularly addressed by name during Bonbon's dates, Battle Butler is only ever referred to in-game by his title. His real name is Arthur Armstrong.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Totally ready to throw his life away in the service of the protagonist at any time. The narration hints he's not totally, 100% okay with it, but will put up a brave face and go through with it regardless.
  • Scarred Equipment: Much like the man himself, Battle Butler's shoulder plate has a number of visible dings and marring, due to his active, enthusiastic, and violent lifestyle.

Male Executives

    Max Gentlemen
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/max_gentlemen.png
All Masculinity, No Toxic
Voiced by: Xander Mobus

Victorian-Era Gentlemanhood taken to the absolute furthest extreme you can, Max Gentlemen is your executive in the Food Industry. He has a love of meat, hunting, and feats of great strength and daring like wrestling a lake full of crocodiles with his bare hands. He also has a dark, tragic history, but he doesn't really prefer to talk about that.

  • Affectionate Parody: Of overly masculine Victorian-era gentlemen, with bulging biceps, impeccable mustaches, and arms that are as or even more lethal than an actual gun. In spite of all this, he's still as genteel, polite, and courteous as a gentleman should be.
  • Badass in a Nice Suit: His default outfit.
  • Boisterous Bruiser: He's a very proud man and a very good fighter, at that, whether his opponents are man or beast. His moxie bonus in the Boxing Gym also makes him one of the best executives to train up for pure offense.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: He lost both of his parents at a very young age in incredibly tragic circumstances. One of his profile's dislikes is "Dead Parents".
  • Decon-Recon Switch: Of the reckless, gung-ho, and absurdly dangerous stunts often performed by "manly men" much like himself. His constant need for adrenaline rushes ultimately turns out to be an unhealthy coping mechanism for the tragic deaths of his parents, who died during such stunts. Later, he comes to terms with this unhealthy behaviour and resolves to process his grief in a healthier, more responsible manner while still retaining his usefulness as a daring adventurer, pugilist, and capitalist.
  • Good Old Fisticuffs: With arms like that, one does not need firearms or any other sort of weapon, honestly.
  • Real Men Eat Meat: Beef in particular. He does, however, own a restaurant that can satisfy a taste for "danger"—that is, releasing a dangerous wild beast you have to punch out yourself.
  • Secondary Character Title: Despite the game being named after him, he's no more or less important than any of the player's other potential lieutenants, and might never be included on their bench at all.
  • Testosterone Poisoning: His incredibly dramatic and wild antics and adventures like the above-mentioned dinner for a taste of "danger" are all played for laughs. Until it isn't, when it's revealed that these constant ridiculous, dangerous stunts are what got his parents killed in the first place and he begins to seriously reflect on how unhealthy it is.

    Gunn Moses
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gunn_moses.png
The Dapper Bookworm
Voiced by: Julian Smith

A prolific writer, editor, and publisher (largely because he is loath to give up any of his creative rights whatsoever), Gunn Moses is your executive in the Publishing Industry. He is highly intelligent, extremely well-read and cultured, and impeccably groomed at all times, though this does not stop him from engaging in the dirty business of hostile takeovers.

  • Badass Bookworm: His "resume" involves him effortlessly fending off his fencing opponent whilst reading a book in his other hand, with his back turned. In-game, his moxie bonus in the barbershop lends well to him becoming one of your top fighters, able to recruit new employees in droves with the least amount of resources.
  • Badass in a Nice Suit: His default outfit is a form-fitting and stylish ensemble with a purple coat.
  • Celebrity Is Overrated: He spends much of his dates attempting to become a famous, best-selling author and get the validation of the veteran professionals in his field. By the time both happens, he finds out how incredibly vapid, unfulfilling, and stressful it all is.
  • Control Freak: Before joining up with the protagonist as an executive and making his company a subsidiary of it, he ran all of the executive decisions, from writing to editing to production, solely because he was loathe to give up any creative rights over his work.
  • Gone Horribly Right: His first formal date with the protagonist has him asking them of their opinion to write the perfect ending for his in-progress adult romance novel, in order to make it a bestseller. By the next date, he has to get their help in avoiding both his hordes of rabid fans and the Victorian-era Moral Guardians positively outraged at the scandalous nature of it, and the rest of the dates deal with his growing disillusionment with fame.
  • Manly Facial Hair: As befitting a cultured gentleman like himself. He has a love of making it even more badass and refined, as seen with his moxie bonus at the barbershop.

    Antoine Hardmeat
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/antoine_hardmeat.png
The Shy Bishounen Prince
Voiced by: Alejandro Saab

A rather average and unremarkable man except whenever horses are involved, a bet ended with Antoine Hardmeat becoming your executive in the Law Industry. He is painfully shy, socially awkward, but a total sweetheart and quite willing to help with your business ventures regardless.

  • The Bet: He ended up as the owner of a law firm after winning it in a horse race.
  • Endearingly Dorky: His main shtick, being very nervous, anxious, and hesitant, but still being very endearing and sweet with brief moments of confidence.
  • Gameplay and Story Segregation: His backstory is that he won a law firm in a horse race, and he admits that he's otherwise painfully average and nothing to note outside of equestrianship with a side of botany. In-game, he is as competent as all of your other executives with buying and selling bonds at the exchange, performing hostile takeovers in the town square, and will have the same gung-ho and confident dialog options if you can send him out to take care of a problem outside of the city. This could all just be his chronic low self-confidence clouding his self-awareness, though. There's also the possibility of some Gameplay and Story Integration, in that his skill is "Late Bloomer"— it's entirely possible he only started becoming more capable after partnering with you.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: He is blonde and one of the most unambiguously kind, sweet, and compassionate of the characters, up there with Sinterklaas who is called "Warmth and Love Personified".
  • Loyal Animal Companion: Custard, his horse.
  • Pretty Boy: It's in his tagline. He's a much more effeminate male than Vlad Nibblesome and Samuel Finch, in his very shy, demure personality, though his art has shown him with an impressive six-pack and well-defined muscles. Justified in that horse riding is an incredibly active sport.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: As he is just the owner of a law firm and not an actual lawyer, a court Judge deems his advice and opinions moot during a trial, and ends up confiscating all the protagonists' recently-reacquired assets and throws them under the Greater-Scope Villain Cashious Villionaire's custody.
  • Taught by Television: He's able to competently act as a lawyer thanks to his years of reading Ace Attorney inspired crime-and-punishment novels to his horse, Custard. Ultimately subverted when all his legal advice gets overruled by an actual judge, who points out he is not a lawyer, has no license to practice it, and therefore has no power behind his words and actions.

    Samuel Finch
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/samuel_finch.png
The Stylish Monster Hunter
Voiced by: Shane East

As daring with his latest designs as he is when setting off to adventure, Samuel Finch is your executive in the Fashion Industry. Refined, posh, and more than a little out-there, whether it's searching for, preserving, and studying rare and exotic creatures, or setting the new standards for high fashion in London, you can be damn sure he will look good doing it.

  • Badass in a Nice Suit: Consistently the best dressed of your executives, and also one of the most skilled and adventurous with or without your direction.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: He has no shortage of strange and unusual quirks, such as his collection of horses that were sold to him as other, much more exotic animals (and very, very poorly, at that). In his words, fooling him eight times is just the sign of an excellent businessman.
  • Great White Hunter: Though in a twist he prefers not to kill them, he prefers to capture them, house them safely in his expansive estate, and document and study them, much as any zoologist would. He has no strong preference for any biome or branch of the animal kingdom, as he has land mammals, aquatic creatures, and avians, among the much more exotic and possibly paranormal creatures.
  • Nightmare Fetishist: His short smut story involves him getting abducted by aliens and getting very into the Anal Probing and other "sample collection" activities that go on.
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: As befitting a fashion designer and industry mogul. He makes it a point to always be on top of the latest trends.

    Sinterklaas
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sinterklaas.png
Warmth and Love Personified
Voiced by: Jason Charles Miller

Big, jolly, and generous, Sinterklaas is your executive in the Banking Industry. With his massive hoards of wealth and influence, he makes it his life's mission to spread joy, good cheer, and smiles throughout the world, partnering with you to do so.

  • Beware the Nice Ones: His jolly, caring, and compassionate nature does not at all stop him from being a ferocious frontline combatant in hostile takeovers.
  • Big Beautiful Man: By far the largest and widest member of the entire cast, with a prominent potbelly and soft, rounded features, all of which are never treated as necessarily bad or unattractive.
  • Big Fun: He's round and jolly, alright.
  • Chronic Hero Syndrome: Being kind and generous to everyone is his life's mission. Compulsion driven by self-confidence issues, really.
  • Foil: To Summer Starling. While they're both Silver Foxes, Sinterklass is kindly, plump, and works best in the winter while Summer is devious, thin, and works best in summer.
  • Hidden Depths: He has severe self-confidence issues, where he believes that if he ever stops putting other's needs and wants above his own, people will stop liking him, and he in turn will stop liking himself.
  • The Lost Lenore: In the demo, he mentions that he's attending the speed dating event in the hopes of moving on and finding companionship again following the death of his beloved wife. The main game never directly references this — but his short smut story reveals that he was married at some point, and makes it clear that he and his wife were very happy together, so it's presumably still canon.
  • Only One Name: "Sinterklaas" is either his family name or a mononym.
  • Really 700 Years Old: Heavily implied. An off-hand comment about dirigibles and the state of the commoner's areas reveals he is at least old enough to remember when people emptied chamber pots out onto the streets and unfortunate passersby.
  • Santa Ambiguity: He could be the genuine article with his age, generosity, affinity for winter, and the fact that his name is the same as the man behind the Dutch tradition Sinterklaas, a celebration similar to Christmas. One of his outfits is even based on a bishop's ceremonial dress, hammering home the Saint Nicholas connection. For his part, he denies it.
  • Stout Strength: He's fat, but not flabby—on one of the dates with Pip the player character can even comment he's "built like a brick wall".
  • Silver Fox: Visibly one of the oldest executives, but still just as appealing in his own ways.
  • Younger Than They Look: His in-game bio gives his age as "42", which seems unlikely — even though this would still make him the oldest of your executives (the others range from their early twenties to mid-thirties) he presents as much older. This may in fact be another attempt to convince the player that he's not Really 700 Years Old.

    Vlad Nibblesome
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vlad_nibblesome.png
The Brooding Sex Scientist
Voiced by: Jonah Scott

Reserved, calm, and logical, Vlad Nibblesome is your executive in the Lumber Industry, though it's really more as a means to fund his true passion: science. At present, his current focus is on discovering an objective basis for love.

  • Actually Not a Vampire: While his character design, his moxie bonus at night, and his Tasteful/Tasteless nudes intentionally evoke the usual conventions and images of vampires, he is not actually a vampire.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: While he does look every part the evil mad scientist, has a goatee, and performs some questionable things for the sake of research, Vlad is not an evil man. The worst you could say about him is that his methods are rather misguided and questionable but it's not like the other executives don't have their moments and you the player are capable of intentionally doing much worse for the sake of profits.
  • Endearingly Dorky: He has his moments, particularly when flustered by his own reactions to your come-ons and flirtations during his research on the nature of Love.
  • Goth: He prefers working at night, has a very grim and drab fashion sense, and is unafraid of getting into dark and macabre experiments for the sake of science, though his current focus is that on the nature of Love.
  • Mad Scientist: His "resume" is him engaging in some particularly electrifying experiments late at night. Closer inspection reveals he's lighting up the candle of a cupcake with lasers.
  • Really 700 Years Old: Implied. His bio age is simply "???", unlike the other execs who specify their exact ages. Of course, he's Actually Not a Vampire, so his age is probably somewhere in the range of everyone else's really.

Female Executives

In General

  • Action Girl: Any one of them can be easily trained to excel at the all-out brawls during hostile takeovers of other companies. Special mention to Pip, who gains a moxie bonus during such fights and is often one of your best combatants overall.
  • Amazonian Beauty: As of the 2022 Valentine's Day update, every female (and male) executive unlocks a new costume upon reaching 100 Fisticuffs that gives them bulging muscles.

    Penny Farthing
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/penny_farthing_1.png
The Rock-Solid Redhead
Voiced by: Erika Ishii

Skilled inventor and academic, Penny Farthing is your executive in the Metalwork Industry. As a key pillar in the "Futurist Society", she constantly has her eyes towards scientific progress and the future, especially when it comes to matters involving gears and the steam engine.

  • Crutch Character: Downplayed. She's possibly the best choice for a starting partner because her "Sugar Mama" skill gives her a Moxie boost while working at the bank, meaning she can bring in more money before resting than any other character except those with seasonal Moxie bonuses. As you gain more executives (some of whom may end up with much higher share bonuses) this becomes less important. On the other hand, she can be made the designated money-generator while you use the seasonal executives in more diverse roles.
  • Fiery Red Head: She has plenty of moxie, and is adamant in helping create the steampunk future that she envisions.
  • Insane Troll Logic: Some of the Futurist Society's attempts to justify and give objective standards to their predictions veer into this. The real kicker, though, is when she creates and attempts to test a time machine, which is powered by attaching electrodes to your brain and having fun so time quite literally flies.
  • Lady of Adventure: She is not hesitant to throw herself headlong into great danger for the sake of progress.
  • Steampunk: Far from just being a costume, Penny is a renowned member of the "Futurist Society", an organization dedicated to all things "to be". Though it encompasses all aspects of society, the members are mostly firm in their belief that steam-driven technology (and all its conventional aesthetics) will come to absolutely dominate the globe.
  • Wrench Wench: Fittingly for a Metalwork mogul, Penny is no stranger to the wrench and torch, having constructed a Steampunk vehicle for racing as her "resume", and overall being very adept and knowledgeable in metal-based technologies.

    Pip Whipple
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pip_whipple.png
The Tomboy Hobbyist Detective
Voiced by: Xanthe Huynh

Energetic, driven, and ever-curious, Pip Whipple is your executive in the Construction Industry. Though her days as a child sleuth are behind her, she still remains as passionate as ever about solving mysteries and cracking cases.

  • Affectionate Parody: Of amateur child sleuths like Nancy Drew. A lot of her "quirky" elements such as her animal sidekick end up working against her (mice take forever to bang out a report using a typewriter), and she shows an incredible amount of anxiety, unsureness, and fear that she doesn't actually know "whodunnit" nor can she figure it out.
  • Amateur Sleuth: Currently, having aged out of being a Kid Detective.
  • Blood Knight: Surprisingly enough, this keen former-kid detective is also in her element in a brutal all-out industry war in the town square, thanks to her moxie bonus there.
  • Boyish Short Hair: Fittingly for someone so active and tomboyish, her hair is cut very short compared to the rest of the female executives.
  • Cute Bruiser: She's one of the youngest-looking members of the entire cast. She is also one of your best frontline fighters in a hostile takeover.
  • Endearingly Dorky: She's basically a Sherlock Holmes cosplayer and super-fan, and is in her element with all things related to detective fiction. Her voice lines come across as very sweet and enthusiastic, too.
  • Kid Detective: She was one about a decade or so ago, but still is fond of cracking mysteries and using law enforcement terminology like "On the case!" Her dates involve the player and her solving a new "whodunnit", in Pip's adulthood.
  • Older Than They Look: Despite her petite build and tomboyish cuteness making her look like a teenager, Pip is actually 24 years old and isn't even your youngest executive (that would be Vicki, who's 21, closely followed by Antoine at 22).
  • Petite Pride: Should your character mention her modest chest as Pip's most attractive asset, she compliments their keen eye and good sense.

    Bonbon Von Valentine
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bonbon_von_valentine.png
Courtesan of Great Repute
Voiced by: Michelle Ruff

Dangerously charming and dangerously intelligent in equal measure, Bonbon Von Valentine is your executive in the Entertainment Industry. She is a long-time veteran who's aged like wine when it comes to all things pleasure, though she's just as capable of dishing out quite a bit of pain (to her business rivals or if you just so happen to be into that).

  • Everything Sounds Sexier in French: She has a pronounced French accent, as befitting the stereotype and her main trade.
  • Hooker with a Heart of Gold: Played with. She takes her profession seriously, and for her and the other young women who went to her finishing school, part of that means striving to bring only pleasure to people. She realizes she's forgotten that principal after driving a rival brothel out of business through dishonest means, and resolves to recommit herself to her original values.
  • Ms. Fanservice: As befitting one of the oldest and most reputable pillars of the city's Entertainment Industry (in particular the brothel she owns and operates), Bonbon has one of the most blatantly sexualized outfits, most sexual content in her dates, and she's never shy about her intimate and kinky activities. One of the plots of her dates even involves inventing a new fetish to one-up the new competition in the adult entertainment sector.
  • Older Than She Looks: Is one of the oldest members of the cast, but rarely looks it due to a great deal of personal care, skill in cosmetics, and taking care of her best assets. The sorest point for her, though, is fledgling upstarts in her industry thinking they can one-up her well-established and years-old businesses.

    Vicki Lestrange
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vicki_lestrange.png
The Sleepy Witch
Voiced by: Lauren Landa

Eccentric, erotic, but not so much energetic, Vicki Lestrange is your executive in the Shipping Industry. Though her business involves moving physical materials around this world, her true interests lie in exploring the supernatural and realms beyond our own.

  • Ambiguously Asian: Most of her unlockable outfits are Asian-inspired, and while very pale-skinned her character sprite is cartoonish enough that her ethnicity is hard to identify.
  • Big Beautiful Woman: She is visibly much more voluptuous than the other female executives, but is never shown to be unattractive, to say the least.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Yes, she channels the dead, summons Eldritch gods from beyond our realm and understanding, and holds all manner of other occult business besides, but Vicki's actions are never for evil purposes, more exploration, curiosity, and entertainment.
  • Hot Witch: She is firmly entrenched in the ways of the occult, the supernatural, and the strange. She is also incredibly attractive.
  • Goth: Unmistakably so. Pale skin and long, black hair aside, she is very traditionally refined and sophisticated, and openly dabbles in the dark arts.
  • Younger Than They Look: She's the youngest executive in the game at 21 years old, which is perhaps surprising considering that Pip looks much younger (but is actually three years older than Vicki), while Antoine is the only character whose youthful inexperience forms a major part of his story (and even he's a year older than her). While Vicki doesn't present as particularly old, she doesn't scream "The Baby of the Bunch" either.

    Summer Starling
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/summer_starling.png
The Antagonistic Domme
Voiced by: Morgan Berry

Cunning and cruel, Summer Starling is your executive in the Mining Industry. So long as your goals happen to align with hers, you can be reasonably sure she won't try to kill you and her (non-sexual) sadism and plotting will be aimed at your mutual enemies.

  • Arch-Enemy: Has one named Ralph, who she repeatedly accuses the player of siding with in order to take over businesses she's had her eye on before she joins you.
  • Brains and Bondage: She's very intelligent and cultured. She also enjoys grinding the heel of her leather boots into the individuals kneeling before her.
  • Bondage Is Bad: Subverted. Despite what a piece of work she is otherwise when she's acting as a dominatrix she's actually at her most considerate.
  • Crazy-Prepared: She is noted to be very thorough when she wants to try to kill someone. It's only the protagonist's vast skillset and Battle Butler's protection that she fails.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Her severe vendetta against Ralph was because she blames him for being unable to tell her dog she was a "good girl" before said pet died.
  • Foil: To Sinterklaas. While they're both Silver Foxes, Summer is devious, thin, and works best in summer while Sinterklass is kindly, plump, and works best in the winter.
  • Hoist by Her Own Petard: When she tries to kill the protagonist by trapping them in a cabin in the woods then setting it on fire, she shortly ends up trapped underneath a burning tree from that same forest.
  • Screw Yourself: She admits to Angel that she wants to have sex with herself and wants to sleep with Angel because they're very similar to each other.
  • Silver Vixen: One of the (visibly) older executives, but the gray hair and the "school teacher" aura just add to her appeal.
  • Token Evil Teammate: She openly tries to murder the protagonist several times during her first few dates, and all of your staff and the rest of your social circle either learn to fear her or keep a weapon on-hand.
  • What Is This Thing You Call "Love"?: The lady needs to consult an "emotional dictionary" in order to express her feelings to you.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: Her backstory of lost love and false imprisonment, revealed in her fifth date, is taken in large part from The Count of Monte Cristo. Zigzagged when it turns out that the "prison" was an expensive finishing school and her "first love" was a neighbour's pet dog.
  • Younger Than They Look: Despite her silver hair making her appear ambiguously closer to middle-age, she's only 32. She isn't even your oldest female executive, since Bonbon's 36.

    Fanny Shufflebottom
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fanny_shufflebottom.png
The Naive Winter Princess
Voiced by: Megan Mc Duffee

Naive, good-hearted, and enthusiastic but also terrifyingly strong and brutal, Fanny Shufflebottom is your executive in the Transport Industry. After taking advantage of the family business to travel to London, she's eagerly attempting to learn about the world outside her home country and try to adapt to the culture.

  • Affectionate Parody: Of Disney Princesses. Her design is a blonde Expy of Elsa from Frozen (2013), with a very alternative take of what an isolated royal from a brutal, wintry, remote mountain range would be like: woefully socially inept, prone to making dangerous (if hilarious) blunders and interpretations of social mores, and defaulting on the very violent and barbaric practices she grew up with.
  • Amazonian Beauty: The dress hides it well, but Fanny's CG art and her massage mini-game make it clear that she is ripped and knows how to use that incredible musculature to devastating effect.
  • Did Not Do the Bloody Research: Invoked—she's not British but does her best to use British slang like "abso-bloody-lutely" and milder (often antiquated) expressions to fit in. It comes across as slightly stilted and awkward, which is the point.
  • Fish out of Water: She is from an extremely cold, unforgiving, and barbaric northern region, and her upbringing there constantly comes into conflict with the (mostly) civilized and non-violent ways of Victorian-era London.
  • Meet My Good Friends Lefty and Righty: Her right arm is nicknamed "Kindness", as your character abruptly learns when they advise Fanny to "Kill them with kindness."
  • Pintsized Powerhouse: One of the smallest executives at 5'6", but also one of the strongest - she's able to effortlessly lift much larger characters with one arm.
  • Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness: Invoked when Battle Butler attempts to teach her how to be more refined and ladylike (as per London standards). To further increase the obtuseness and pretentiousness of it all, her text shimmers and shakes like a wave. Thankfully, she drops the practice quickly, along with attempting to be someone she's definitely not.
  • Sheltered Aristocrat: She has not been exposed to any cultures aside from her home country's which leads to a lot of her strange and misguided behavior. Particularly ironic as the family business is in transportation in an era where transnational adventures are a common past-time for the absurdly rich.

Villains

    The Rival
Your Gent-sona's most prominent foe, who took the fall for a murder/was defeated in a duel/is a scorned ex-lover/etc. and seeks revenge.
  • Big Bad: Defeating their business is the goal of the initial storyline, as well as the final storyline.
  • Demoted to Dragon: After the player's first victory, it's revealed that they've been working for Cashious all along, and they act as a mid-boss in the second storyline...
    • Dragon Ascendant: ...Followed by reclaiming their position of main threat in the final storyline.
  • Friendly Rival: Potentially, if you choose to flirt with them.
  • Hello, [Insert Name Here]: Subverted; you're given insulting choices such as "Dr. Bitch", but cannot actually choose your rival's name, and they're only referred to as "Your Rival".
  • Multiple-Choice Past: How you originally came to blows is entirely up to your choices, and you can even have three separate incidents that sparked it.
  • One-Winged Angel: Parodied in the final storyline. First they use demonic energy to transform from a human to a demon, and claim it's their final form. Then, after being beaten, they turn into a demi-Eldritch Abomination with green skin and tentacles and claim it's their "third and most final form". And then, after being beaten again, they turn into a grey-skinned angel and claim it's their "final-est form".
  • The Rival: Their defining trait is being yours.

    Cashious Villionaire (Spoilers!)

The Hellbent Nemesis
Voiced by: Todd Haberkorn

The man responsible for your (repeated) downfall. His great-grandfather and your great-grandmother fought over a treasure capable of manipulating both probability and minds; his great-grandfather lost, and your great-gran buried it rather than abuse its power, but now Cashious seeks it for himself.

  • Ascended Extra: While the player could choose to flirt with him in the base game, the "The British Are Coming!" expansion makes Cashious a fully dateable character.
  • Big Bad: Serves as this for the second run, with The Rival now serving as The Dragon.
  • Heel–Face Turn: In the hardest difficulty mode, he becomes one of your Executives after you clear the first district.
  • I Have Your Wife: He holds Antoine's horse Custard hostage so he can't represent you in trial, though Hardmeat still advises you during a break. But it's a moot point anyway because Antoine's not a lawyer, and the judge points this out as he junks his assistance.
  • Inheritance Murder: He sincerely believes that the treasure your great-grandparents fought over is rightfully his and that your great-gran stole it, which is why he repeatedly ruins your life. The truth, as the player and Angel discover in an old journal, is that Cashious's great-grandfather went mad with power and had to be stopped.
  • The Man Behind the Man: He's responsible for The Rival's rise to power, all so he could use them as a diversion and steal your family heirloom.
  • Sixth Ranger: Is the fourteenth and final exec added to your roster in the last one-third of the story.
  • Villain with Good Publicity: Outside of his personal vendetta against the protagonist, they're well-respected in the community, which is how he has you arrested at the end of your second victorious run.
  • Walking Spoiler: He doesn't make a single appearance until the player's first victory against The Rival, which initially appears to be the end of the game (but is actually just the end of the first third of the story).

The Mysterious Benefactor
Voiced by: Rebeka Thomas

The dangerous lady in charge of handling the loans needed to out-business the competition.

  • Ascended Extra: In the "The British Are Coming!" expansion, she's upgraded from local loan shark and black market liaison to a fully dateable character.
  • Good All Along: It ultimately turns out that her betraying you to Cashious and getting you imprisoned was all a ploy to find the Sanctus Lapis Fortunum and stop him.
  • Nothing Personal: Claims it's just business when she steals your company papers at the trial following your second victory, leading to Cashious' triumph and your imprisonment.
  • Obviously Evil: Her character design and her numerous connections into the criminal underground make it clear that she is far from a legitimate businesswoman, but your lack of options and strong desire to reclaim your business and your honour outweigh any standards you may have had.
  • Sixth Ranger: Thirteenth ranger, technically. Angel is a late addition to your exec roster in the final third of the game's main story.

    God of Business
A mustached spirit riding atop a white stallion, who introduces the player to the world of sexy business before the story starts.
  • Minor Major Character: Despite his name and being the first intelligent being the player interacts with, there is never any mention of him ever again. The supernatural elements that are used are implied to be more infernal in nature though an evil counterpart is never even hinted at.

    Smut Peddler
Voiced by: Jesse Cox

A merchant who is willing to sell the protagonist some saucy reading material and new outfits for their executives in exchange for money (or, after Dandy's introduction, a point of materialized affection).

  • Ink-Suit Actor: He looks exactly like Jesse with a red robe and pipe.

    The Merchant
Voiced by: Jasmine Bhullar

A travelling saleswoman who appears in towns on weeks alternate of a Gala, who is willing to sell spare assets for a bit of gold.

  • Chekhov's Gunman: After being a side-character for most of the game, she suddenly gains a very important role in the final storyline.
  • Connected All Along: In the third storyline, it's revealed that she's connected to Cashious; specifically, she's his estranged daughter.
  • Given Name Reveal: Towards the end of the third storyline, the player finally learns her name: Lapis Villionaire.

    Dandy Ravenscroft
Voiced by: Tyler Gaca

An associate of Vlad who, thanks to specializing in Love Science over Mad Science, is able to convert the spare sexual energy radiating from The Protagonist into tangible benefits such as asset upgrades.

    Cherry Belle Damsel

An associate of Angel that teaches the protagonist how to deal with ghosts after Angel and Cashious are cursed by an infernal contract.
