Main Characters

Microsoft Sam

The main character, he is also the director.

  • Berserk Button:
    • His hatred of commercial plugs,
    • Whenever someone interferes with his authority.
    • Calling him a control freak.
    • Stealing his laugh line is the big one.
    • Joking about him having erectile dysfunction. This one's especially notable because he immediately throws a tantrum and doesn't even try to calm down.
  • Butt-Monkey
  • Character Catchphrase:
    • "Places everyone! Roll camera! Cue the shield!" (to start each episode)
    • "SCOTTYYYYYYYYYY" (when Scotty messes up)
    • "YOOOOOOU'RE FIRED!" (whenever he fires Scotty)
    • "Shut up, you asswipe!" (usually when Mike makes a remark)
    • And of course his famous laugh line: "Hahahahahahahahah soi soi soi soi rofl rofl rofl rofl!"
  • Control Freak:
    • Dear Lord. So VERY much.
    • Later episodes show that it's actually caused by a "tic controllosa". Anna and later Abby (after Anna disappeared) have taken to curing him of it using laser eyes whenever he relapses.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Sam usually does this to Scotty whenever he messes up one too many times, and sometimes to Dave for interfering.
  • Expository Hairstyle Change: Beginning with Episode 221, Sam now sports a black, spikey hairstyle, which was revealed to be done by Anna herself. Notably, this was done after his control freak tendencies were dropped.
  • Jerkass: Big time in the first run, especially in the 2013-2014 episodes. Averted in the second run, where he gradually Took a Level in Kindness.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: All the time, usually due to his plans to take control completely failing.
  • Moral Myopia: He labels his own actions against the crew as justified (sometimes responded with "Justified my ass!"), and calls their actions and retribution against him as mutiny.
  • Official Couple: He and Anna make up one of them in the series.
  • Prima Donna Director: Especially perpetuated by Scotty, for abusing loopholes in his commands.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Has seemingly become this in recent episodes.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: Starting with Episode 141, Sam starts being nicer and acting more civil, and by Episode 218, he completely loses his control freak tendencies.
  • When He Smiles: The few times that Sam does genuinely smile, it is actually pretty cute. Extra points if he does his signature laugh with it.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Mike, by mostly calling him an asswipe and threatening to convict him of perjury for denying it

Microsoft Mike

Microsoft Mary

Microsoft Anna

Anna is Sam's girlfriend. She usually protects him when a scary logo shows up. She disappears in Episode 112 after she is abducted by an unknown force, along with LH Michael and LH Michelle.

  • Action Girlfriend: Oh so much.
  • Badass Adorable: A beautiful 25-ish woman with laser eye powers.
  • Berserk Button: Don't call her a "harlot", or make her say a bad word and then tell her to watch her language. Also, don't keep Sam away from her.

Also, whenever Dave expresses shock or yells, an open mouth will be drawn on him. Beginning with Episode 101, he is now completely animated to match the rest of the cast.
  • Author Avatar: Starting with Episode 33.
  • Berserk Button: Threatening to send the Devil and She-Devil after him, threatening to punch his lights out, trying to take over his studio or wasting his video time throwing tantrums.

  • Fun with Acronyms: His first two initials are W.B.
  • Jerkass to One: He's very friendly towards most of his employees, but he's often very harsh towards Microsoft Sam. Considering that Sam's control freak tendencies frequently cause problems for the studio, it's justified.
  • Not So Above It All: Often throws tantrums when trying to deal with Sam's control freak tendencies.
