• Blood Knight: Win or lose, they're always fighting someone.
• Broken Pedestal: Subverted, in regards to Orion being the leader of the cosmoticists that gives sacrifices to their god every year. Tamaki still holds a great deal of respect for his photography.
• The Leader: By default because, according to everyone else, Tamaki generally refuses to do what anyone else tells them to do.
• Line-of-Sight Alias: Seldom brought up, but with the exception of his professors, no one knows Tamaki's actual last name. The first time they chose an alternative last name they were talking a night class.
• Starving Student: Unlike the other mentors, Tamaki is less than willing to accept Kelsey's offerings to help with their monetary issues.
• Vitriolic Best Buds: With a lot of people. Hyun Jae most notably, but this also applies to Sylvia. This is a one-sided dynamic with Kelsey, which is to be expected as he is his lancer.
• Wrong Context Magic: It's a complete mystery to everyone what school of magic he uses.

• The Lancer: Only by a technicality, due to Tamaki's position as The Leader in the Five-Man Band.

• Sleepyhead: Acknowledged by many, but the reasoning for it seems to be a mystery. For now, it's safe to say it's just a natural side-effect from being a Cloudcuckoolander.

• Byronic Hero: Downplayed, but made relatively obvious when Seo-Yun almost dies.
• Devil in Plain Sight: To the players. Some community members, especially other members of the wolf pack, seem outright offended when players imply that he's up to no good. No matter how obvious it is.
• Hospital Hottie: Played up to the point that he's primarily a model, and actually does veterinary work as a hobby.
• It Amused Me: What seems to be the primary motivation for Alex's worst acts, including (but not limited to) bringing an impostor to Laguna Creek, deliberately withholding vital information, and sharing information that will knowingly upset them.
• Omniscient Morality License: After saving Seo-Yun from certain death which resulted in him becoming a Star, it's safe to say that Alexander Wilson seems to operate on his own moral compass.
• Villainy-Free Villain: Alexander Wilson has not objectively done anything wrong. Yet.
