New Party Members

    Darry Sweets
A minor enemy faced at the end of the Garbage Enlightenment quest in the base game. He now appears early in the game and can be recruited if you give the Gummy Worm to him. In an earlier version you could recruit both him and Georgy, but are unable to do so in the current one, as you will be forced to pick between the two if you recruit him. He functions as an all-rounder who can apply status effects and can
  • Adaptational Heroism: He doesn't attack you on first sight unlike in the original.
  • Dance Battler: Downplayed. None of his attacks involve dancing, but he can dance in combat to restore HP or apply stat boosts.
  • Grievous Bottley Harm: Some of his moves revolve around the use of the bottle he carries around.
  • Improbable Weapon User: He tosses fruit at the enemy for his default attack.
  • Life of the Party: So much that him dancing can apply Party Mode to the whole party.
  • Like Father, Like Son: His dad liked dancing just as much as he does, and taught him how to dance.
  • Superboss: An incredibly-devious to find fight against "Super Darry" can be initiated if you eat the Gummy Worm after refusing to give it to him and then talk to him again after completing the plastic-feeling sidequest. His upgraded form allows him to throw bottles at everybody and deal slightly-more damage than normally, but is not as much of an upgrade in difficulty as the other two "Super" form bosses you can fight later on.

    Geen Jean
A minor NPC from Lisa: the Pointless that can be recruited at the House of Dust. His fighting style primarily revolves around the use of his knife as well as paint, and dirty tricks in general. He is recruited by giving him a bottle of water when he asks for it.
  • Adaptational Heroism: He was a highly sketchy individual who is implied to have murdered Barkeep Mysteriozo for ripping him off, but here, he's a nice enough guy to help out Alex just for giving him a bottle of water. Before joining the party, he's shown painting a warning on the hut to ward people away from the Joy Mutant inside.
  • Combat Pragmatist: He can splash paint in his enemies eyes to blind them and in general fights much dirtier than the rest of the party sans Joel, who all use their physical strength or fight relatively fairly.
  • The Faceless: Geen is always facing away from the screen, hiding his face, even when sitting by a table.
  • Glass Cannon: His specialty revolves around dealing as much damage as possible in a short amount of time, and has a variety of skills to counteract his fragility, such as using paint to decrease the accuracy of enemies and a smoke bomb to inflict the Hide status effect on him, which increases his dodge rate.
  • Offscreen Moment of Awesome: When you reunite with him after the dinner with the Central powers, you'll find him sitting outside, right next to a dead jerseyhead. He casually mentions that he had to kill him, and rejoins your party.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Downplayed. He's weirded out by the Central Powers during the dinner scene, and decides to wait outside instead.

    Salt Crab
A minor NPC who can be found in the Dried Sangria Lake. He is a mix between a Mighty Glacier and a Stone Wall, who can also inflict positive status effects on the party while removing negative ones. He can be recruited by finding his Salty Bathrobe then talking to him, then gathering 15 chunks of Man Made Salts and visiting him in his abode. There, he will bake you a Salt Cake, which functions as a massively improved version of the Man Made Salts that the entire party can use. He can not be recruited if you have Geen Jean in your party and you will be forced to choose between the two if you have him with you.
  • Boisterous Bruiser: He's a big, tough guy who can take a hit with a vibrant attitude.
  • Stone Wall: He's great at soaking up damage but his attacks are somewhat lackluster, that being said, he can be downright devastating due to his ability to deal damage to all enemies with his Cart Crash, which also applies Off Balance to them as well, making it a godsave in fights with multiple enemies, saving SP for Alex if you're trying to knock them over with your Goat Kick to attack them with your Iron Hoof.
  • Verbal Tic: Tends to end his sentences by laughing.

    Baby Fishman
Essentially a party member in spirit, Alex can meet a baby Fishman that will enter the inventory and provide Alex with new moves to use.
  • Black Comedy: The party can eat its fried corpse if it dies, which heals but also makes the eater Cry.
  • Guide Dang It!: It's hard for a first-time player to even figure out that they can save its life.
  • Killed Off for Real: If you don't put the Baby Fishman in a vase before crossing the desert, it will die by the time you get to the caves. Unfortunately, it'll be doomed to die after the Arnold fight because its vase breaks after the fall.
  • Shock and Awe: Can learn a shock skill that fries all enemies, though it stuns itself for a few turns afterward.

New NPCs and enemies

Garbage Island

    Will Killjoy
A member of the Rando Army identifiable by his leather jacket, chain whip, and face that resembles the Creep enemies from the Nice Homes in LISA.
  • Chain Pain: His weapon of choice is a chain whip.
  • Gonk: Again, his face looks like one of the joy Creeps from the Lisa the Painful.
  • Optional Boss: You can fight him in the storage room at the end of the Rando Army sidequest, and defeating him will cause Floyd Burnside to become infinitized and join the franchise, unlocking him as a boss in Uptown Olathe on top of the Sweet Breeze Hotel.

    Floyd Burnside
A hulking Rando Army soldier who watches over a crate full of Infinity Jerseys. He ends up becoming a boss found on the top of the Sweet Breeze Hotel in Uptown Olathe.
  • Face–Heel Turn: He winds up becoming infinitized and changing from being a member of the Anti-Heroic Rando Army to the Always Chaotic Evil Infinity Franchise after you kill Will Killjoy.
  • Masked Luchador: He wears a lucha libre mask.
  • Meaningful Name: His surname of Burnside reflects his ability to throw fireballs from his hand during the fight against him on the roof of the Sweet Breeze Hotel.
  • Noodle Incident: However he got to the Sweet Breeze Hotel. It's implied that it involved him somehow finding a perfectly functioning helicopter and flying all the way there before crashing it, which opens up a whole new set of questions as to how he even found a working helicopter that had enough fuel to go all the way from wherever he found it to all the way up a mountain, especially since he was on the very desolate Garbage Island.
  • Off with His Head!: How he meets his end. His helicopter blade sword ends up flying into the air after he is defeated, and it decapitates him when it returns to the earth.
  • Scary Black Man: Averted. He's a giant of a man built like a sumo wrestler, yet he's completely harmless and even somewhat introverted. Played Straight after you defeat Will Killjoy, causing him to snap and join the Infinity Franchise, brutally killing his fellow Rando soldiers and escaping to the mountains of Uptown Olathe, where he becomes a difficult optional boss enemy.
  • Stout Strength: He has a flabby torso with a visible belly, yet his arms are noticeably muscular. He ends up demonstrating his strength by wielding a helicopter blade as a sword.

    Mother Maggot
A disgusting mass of Rag Maggot corpses that are being carried from within by an incalculable amount of maggots. It is an Optional Boss found in Garbage Island that appears once you squish all the maggot piles in it's den.
  • Body Horror: Due to being a mass of corpses infested by maggots that is somehow still moving, it counts as this by default, especially since one of the eyes of the corpses is replaced with a mass of maggots.
  • Mama Bear: It attacks you for squishing all the maggot piles in it's den. Doesn't prevent it from eating it's young to heal itself.

    Elder Fishman
The leader of a hidden Fishman Village in Garbage Island. He becomes aggressive if you attempt to take the casette tape from the boombox in the village, but will relent if you choose to put it back. He'll attack you however if you refuse to.
  • Flunky Boss: He has a Demon-eye Fishman and a Parasol Fishman assisting him in his battle.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: Of his own kind - going in his tent after defeating him reveals a butchered fishman corpse and some fish jerky.
  • Shock and Awe: He has the ability to manipulate electricity, something that's made quite deadly due to him and his cohorts ability to inflict the Wet status effect with their Watery Whap attack, which causes his electric attacks to become much more dangerous.

Downtown/Uptown Olathe

    Scrawny Davy
A recurring NPC who appears across Downtown and Uptown Olathe, identifiable by his balding head and sunglasses. He's a friendly man who likes to call Alex "Chum".
  • Face–Heel Turn: He goes from one of the friendliest faces in Downtown Olathe to a child-murderer with a flamethrower.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Even as a member of the Infinity Franchise, he retains his chummy attitude as he immolates children with no remorse whatsoever.
  • Fire-Breathing Weapon: He wields a flamethrower with a massive fuel tank after he joins the franchise.
  • Foreshadowing: He'll mutter to himself about how sweet fire smells if you talk to him again in the encounter with him on the busted highway, and sure enough, he winds up wielding a gigantic flamethrower.
  • Hate Sink: He becomes a piece of shit after he becomes Infinitized, murdering a bunch of children and potentially getting away with it depending on how many times you talk to him.
  • Mercy Kill: Implied Trope. The last chat you have with him has him mention he’s starting to feel like he’s getting sucked into the Franchise, and warns you stay away as he’s probably not gonna be the same person as he was before next time you see him. He’s also seemingly the one to give you the Misdirection tactics page, a skill that proves very helpful against him during his boss fight.
  • Noodle Incident: How he managed to procure a flamethrower is given absolutely zero explanation whatsoever, and even the explanation of him just inventing it opens up the question of how he has the knowledge to do so or how he even found the parts to make it.
  • Walking Spoiler: The fact that he has all these spoilers should be a clue that he is a lot more important in the contained storyline of Downtown & Uptown Olathe.
  • Would Hurt a Child: He winds up torching Tony Jones and the mutated Shammy Beltraime when he gets Infinitized.

    Jeremy Denkins
The former camp counselor of the Sweet Breeze Campgrounds, who has gone berserk and gone on a rampage with his trusty shotgun.
  • The Dreaded: All of the non-Infinitized residents of Sweet Breeze Campgrounds are deathly afraid of him, and for good reason, given that he's packing a high caliber shotgun and killing everything indiscriminately.
  • Friend to All Children: Exposition from Arin Tallywacker (The small man in a coonskin cap who demands you get inside the cabin to avoid Jeremy) reveals that he used to love playing with the local kids of Olathe and teaching them how to survive in the wilderness.
  • Handicapped Badass: He has a wooden leg that doesn't hold him back at all in a fight.
  • Lightning Bruiser: He becomes MUCH faster after taking off his coat and revealing himself as a franchiser, and starts attacking with super fast combo attacks.
  • Shell-Shocked Veteran: He clearly regrets having fought in World War II, given that his last words are to tell Alex & co. that being in the military turned him into a murder addict and lamenting himself as a tool of war.
  • Shotguns Are Just Better: His weapon of choice is a giant shotgun that only looks proportionate in his hands, and will instantly kill whoever it hits. Downplayed in that it will ocassionaly jam and refuse to fire during the battle against him.
  • Tragic Monster: He was a kindhearted old man who winded up going berserk and proceeded to go on a killing spree by the time of the present in-game. And it turns out this was because he fell vicitm to the influence of the Infinity Franchise which did NOT mesh well with the trauma he received in World War II.
  • Turns Red: He'll throw off his coat and reveal himself as a member of the Infinity Franchise, and proceed to unleash a series of powerful bare-handed attacks, such as a super strong uppercut followed by slamming whoever got launched into the ground, a series of rapid punches, and a monstrous clothesline that hits the entire party.

    The Ski Lift Clift Trio
A trio of jerseyheads who can be found at the Ski Lift Clif area in Uptown Olathe. They consist of Francis Gizmo Jr., a gigantic man wearing glasses, Wallaby Whittaker, a mohawked Jerseyhead who wields a spray paint can as a weapon to inflict status effects, and Kroger Cleaveland, a man wearing boxing gloves who uses a variety of bare handed attacks. Collectively, they all function as a mini-boss in Uptown Olathe and are notable for genuinely caring about eachother.
  • Expy: They have a lot of similarities between the intitial cast of protagonists in LISA: The Hopeful, as Wallaby possesses a Mohawk and wields something with a trigger, much like Beltboy does, while Kroger has a sports background and has the most physical fighting style out of all of the trio, much like Cyclops does, and Francis is a combination between Lanks and Rodriguez, having the glasses and great height of the former, while having the bossy-yet-caring personality of the latter.
  • A Father to His Men: Francis is demonstrated to genuinely care about his subordinates, as well as vice versa.
  • Gonk: Both Wallaby and Kroger, although Francis looks genuinely normal.
  • Large and in Charge: Francis, the leader of the bunch is the tallest and most visibly muscular.
  • A Lighter Shade of Black: They might be murder happy thugs like the rest of the franchise, but they still showcase a lot of humanity given that they all genuinely care for and believe in one another. They'll also get upset, angry, or distraught as they fall one-by one.
  • Muscles Are Meaningful: Francis is the most visibly muscular of the bunch and has a variety of powerful attacks when he steps into the fray.
  • Player Punch: Invoked. All of them will showcase fear, sorrow, and anger in response as Alex & co. defeat & kill them, reminding you that they're still human enough to care and worry about one another, as well as sticking together.
  • Support Party Member: Wallaby Whittaker. All of his moves inflict various status effects, even his sole physical attack, Shove, which causes people to become Off-Balance.

    The Playground Kids
A group of children who are hiding out in the playground from all the Jerseyheads. They consist of Tony Jones, Danny DeMarco, Manny Kluth, and Shammi Beltraime. There was also Timmy Slick and Patty P. Pattycakes, who used to reside with them at the playground but miraculously managed to escape to the campgrounds.
  • #1 Dime: Manny's hat holds a large amount of sentimental value to him, as his father gave it to him. This winds up getting him killed when he drops it and Danny "pranks" Tony by tackling him, which causes Manny to fall to his death due to Tony losing the grip on the plank he was using to hoist Manny back up.
  • And Then John Was a Zombie: Shammi will wind up mutating throughout the Playground storyline when he and Tony are the last two ones left alive.
  • Adult Hater: Tony Jones. This apparently stemmed from something his dad told him.
  • Body Horror: Shammi's Joy Mutant form is twisted beyond all comprehension and has exposed muscles from his flesh tearing itself apart during his mutation.
  • Death of a Child: With the sole exception of Tony, who may potentially wind up dead himself, these young boys will inevitably die.
  • Dwindling Party: They all end up dying off one by one, with Manny Kluth being accidentally murdered by Danny, who tackles Tony, which causes him to lose the grip on the planks he was using to hoist Manny back up, then Danny will be murdered offscreen by Wily Knight & Co., and finally, Shammi will mutate, and you can either choose to kill him or not, and if you don't, Scrawny Davy will show up at the playground after having immolated Tony and Shammi.
  • Knight Templar Big Brother: Despite not even being related to the other kids, Tony functions like this to all of them, as he is fiercly mistrusting towards all adults, although not without a reason.
  • Mercy Kill: The player can opt to do this to Shammi once he mutates to end his suffering.
  • Sole Survivor: Tony can become the last of the kids to survive, at least ambiguously if you kill Shammi, although he can die anyways if you choose not to kill the latter and progress further through Uptown Olathe's storyline, as he will be immolated alongside the mutated Shammi by Scrawny Davy and his flamethrower. Patty and Timmy also count as this, due to escaping the playground to the relative safety of the campgrounds.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: They all end up winding dying off one after the other, due to being defensless children who have trapped themselves in a remote location in an area infested with violent psychopaths.
  • Theme Naming: All of their first names end in a -ee sound, like Tony, Danny, Manny, Shammi, Timmy, and Patty.
  • Video Game Cruelty Potential/Video Game Caring Potential: The player can opt to attack them when they've got you captured in a sand pit, or to take the brunt of their attacks, which is a simple task, given that they do not deal that much damage. Choosing to attack them will get a negative reaction for Joel while refusing to attack them will get a positive reaction from him.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: Tony will disappear without a trace if you leave and return to the playground after killing Shammi in his mutated form, leaving his fate ambigious, as he either could've left for somewhere else, or killed himself to join his friends in death.

    Wily Knight & co.
A short, friendly guy found in the cave to the playground who claims that he's wearing a Jersey to blend in, although he doesn't attack you in spite of this fishy claim of his. As it turns out, he really was a Franchiser all along, and his buddies are responsible for killing Danny DeMarco, and not satisfied with murdering a child, they turn on you so they can kill you as well.
  • Awesome Music: In-Universe. One of Ygor's skills is to play a truly beautiful song, which causes Wily's entire party to be healed, although it also moves them so much that it causes the Crying status effect to be inflicted upon them.
  • Bad Boss: Wily Knight constantly barks orders to his henchmen, insults them when they die, and even runs away if all of them are killed before he is.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Although he initially appears as a fishy, yet friendly character, he genuinely turns out to have been a member of the Franchise all along.
  • Depraved Homosexual: Scooter Screwloose gets awfully gropey and clingy with Alex & co.
  • Dirty Coward: Wily Knight will run away if all of his four henchmen are killed before he is.
  • Extreme Omnivore: Cecil Flaire reveals that he ate coal as a child when you kill him.
  • Fetish: June the Goon has this for amputation, as his last words reveal.
  • Flunky Boss: He fights you with four, much bigger and stronger franchisers, all of whom wield weaponry of some sorts and they all serve various roles and fill different niches.
  • Karma Houdini: Subverted. Wily Knight can "appear" to escape unharmed if you defeat him before all of his goons, but he gets killed offscreen by somebody, and his corpse can be found outside the cave to the playground.
  • Machete Mayhem: June the Goon wields a massive machete.
  • Meaningful Name: All of their names reflect their actions in one way or another except for June the Goon, as Wily Knight deceives Alex, Cecil Flaire wields a flaming stick he uses to breathe fire, Ygor Melody uses his violin to play music, and Scooter Screwloose seems to be wielding an electric screwdriver.
  • Playing with Fire: Cecil Flaire wields a stick on fire, and breathes into it for fire attacks.
  • Support Party Member: Both Wily Knight himself and Ygor Melody serve this.
  • This Is a Drill: Scooter Screwloose wields what appears to be either a power drill or an electric screwdriver as a weapon.
  • Walking Spoiler: His role in the Playground sidequest and even the fact that he has a battle is this.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Wily & his crew are responsible for killing Danny.

Autumn

    Borislav Ragnarok
The mod's secret super boss and the unsuccesful end product of a secret Soviet supersoldier science project stored away in a secret facility on American grounds, in case of the Cold War going south for them, although there were several flaws with this project, mostly related to keeping Borislav powered on, as his cybernetics take a lot of energy to maintain power.
  • Attack Its Weak Point: While his torso is invincible in his first phase, he can be rendered vulnerable through repeated attacks to the head, which causes him to temporarily power down although only certain attacks can hit it, such as Alex's Flying Axe Kick and Goat Headbutt as well as throwable items, such as bottles and firebombs.
  • Awesome, but Impractical: The main reason why the project he was in was canned and that he was sealed away. He constantly requires energy and constantly has to recharge, not to mention being very slow and heavy as well.
  • Bragging Rights Reward: Defeating him nets you a Medal of Honour, which has no real benefit to equipping aside from being proof that you've defeated Borislav.
  • Determinator: He'll turn into this in his second phase, as his body starts to catch flame as it breaks down, making him become determined to defeat Alex & Joel so he can take them with him.
  • Dirty Communists: He's a human weapon intended to wreak havoc in the U.S.A. as a potential last resort for the Soviets in case they were losing the Cold War, and immediately labels Alex and Joel as capitalists for speaking English to him.
  • Mighty Glacier: He hits like a truck, but he moves at a sluggish pace due to how heavy his cybernetics are.
  • Outside-Context Problem: He's a high-tech cyborg with a variety of on-board weaponry.
  • Soviet Super Science: He's a miracle of soviet research and science and was designed as a last resort weapon, although he wasn't able to see use due to various flaws in the project, such as the heaviness of his cybernetics decreasing his manueverability, as well as being extremely power inefficent, causing him to need to constantly recharge.
  • Superboss: He can only be fought if you beat both Super Roland and Super Arnold, who are acessed by killing the various bonus bosses around Garbage Island and completing all the sidequests there, and killing at least 24 kills, which lets Alex achieve the second fold in the Franchise, which will obtain you with the Scummy Valves and Bloody Valves respectively, which are used as a key to unlock the facility Borislav is stored in.
  • Turns Red: His body will start to catch fire due to his cybernetics being severely damaged, and he will become much faster and gain a wide variety of fire related attacks, as well as the dreadful Chest Blast attack, a burst of flames from his chest that inflicts the trauma status effect, Third Degree Burns on whoever it hits.
