Izuku Midoriya
A young boy who had faced discrimination for being Quirkless. At the beginning of the story, he moved out of his mother's apartment to live on his own. He quickly befriends Tomura Shigaraki and Kurogiri and is unaware that they're villains. According to many characters, his smile is warmer and brighter than the sun itself.
- Adaptation Relationship Overhaul:
- Izuku's relationship with the villains is much friendlier than canon, mostly since he's unaware of they're villains in the story. He's very close to Tomura and Shuichi, as he sees them as his older brother figures and enjoys spending time with them. He also sees All For One and Kurogiri as the closest things he has to as father figures.
- His relationship with All Might is very different in the story. In canon, they both share a father and son relationship. Here, they aren't close and only met once in the story. All Might even gently tells Izuku to think realistically on a job. Izuku himself shows to be nervous at the thought of running into him at U.A. High.
- His relationship with Mei Hatsume is completely different here. Unlike in canon, they are starting to become close friends and Mei sees him a partner after being impressed by his Quirk Analysis.
- All of the Other Reindeer: In his middle school, he's been bullied for being Quirkless. Several of his classmates would go to extreme lengths to make the school a living hell for him whenever they had the chance.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Much like in canon, Izuku doesn't have a good life. As a child, Izuku wants to be a hero to help people with a smile on his face, but when it was discovered that he is Quirkless, his classmates immediately bullied him with his closest friend immediately bully him, his mother Inko was caring towards him, but she doesn't know how to support his dream of becoming a Pro Hero. Despite all this hardship, Izuku holds onto his heroic dream with the hope it will one day come true. However, when he meet his hero All Might by chance, Izuku discovers that his beloved hero is just a mere mask to keep the people at peace and the man would tells him to be realistic about his future. After nearly getting killed in the Slug Villain event and the heroes chewing him out over his reckless action, All Might would be the last straw for to make Izuku to realize that his dream will never come true.
- Disappeared Dad: His father, Hisashi, has yet to appear in the story. Chapter 33 reveals that Izuku sees him as a donor instead of a parent.
- Friendless Background: Just like in canon, Izuku hasn't had a true friend since his Quirkless status was discovered by his classmates, especially Bakugo, who would bully him mercilessly.
- Locked Out of the Loop: He has no idea that his friends and neighbors are villains and are planning to destroy the Hero Society and kill All Might.
- Minor Living Alone: He's still a young teenage boy and is living on his own. He does have Kurogiri to look after him, though.
- Morality Pet: To Tomura, Kurogiri, Shuichi, and All For One. His smile alone makes them feel warm. Messing with him will be the last thing anyone will would do before they meet a gruesome fate.
- Nice Guy: He's very sweet and kind towards everyone he meets. He barely holds any ill will towards his bullies, especially Bakugo.
- We Used to Be Friends: Like in the canon series, he and Bakugo used to be best friends before their respective Quirkless and Quirked statuses caused a wedge between them, with Bakugo bullying Izuku for "pitying" him.
Villains
League of Villains
Tomura Shigaraki
A young man who's one of the residents of the apartment complex. He has a Quirk called "Decayed" that allows him to destroy anything or anyone with all five fingers. He's the first villain that Izuku meets at the beginning of the story.
His real name is Tenko Shimura.
- Big Brother Instinct: He will come to Izuku's aid if the younger boy is being bullied by a few classmates.
- Even Evil Has Standards: When Izuku tells him of his past, he becomes outraged. Angry that his friend has been ostracized and bullied for being Quirkless, something that was beyond his control. Tomura quickly develops a dislike for Bakugo even without meeting him, for bullying Izuku for years. Tomura becomes even more livid when Izuku even tells him that All Might is the one who crushed Izuku's dream and told him to become a police officer instead, causing Tomura's hatred towards the Symbol of Peace to increase.
- First Friend: He's the first person to become Izuku's friend in years.
- Make Them Rot: Like in the canon series, his Quirk lets him decay anything that he touches with all five fingers.
- Repressed Memories: Like in canon, his memories are repressed. However, whenever he's around Izuku, he does remember someone used to give him warmth.
