Getter Team
Leon Fou Bartfort
The main character of the story, but quite the polar opposite of his canon version. Unlike his canon character who wishes to remain a mob character, he is willing to be the protagonist of his story.
- Adaptational Nice Guy: Much less abrasive than canon thanks to Control's influence.
- Berserk Button: You hurt his family and friends? Then you better get ready for Getter Massacre.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Despite being a nice guy he is, he will get very angry if something bad happens to his family and friends.
- Calling Your Attacks: Leon starts calling his attacks after becoming a Getter Pilot.
- Character Development: Through Getter Radiation and Control's counseling, he evolves from his mob-like attitude into a hot-blooded shonen protagonist, fitting for a super robot hero.
- He also outgrows his "sticking to the script" thinking to a more agile one when it comes to changes in the plot.
- The Hero: Unlike the original light novel, Leon is willing to protect his family and friends.
- Hot-Blooded: Thanks to Getter Radiation and Control’s counseling, Leon has become more hot-blooded.
- Scarf of Asskicking: Leon’s piloting suit has a badass scarf like the original pilots. When Leon asked if it was necessary, Control said it’s a sacred tradition.
- Slasher Smile: Leon can grin maniacally that would make Ryouma proud.
Control
The AI Leon inherited. Unlike Luxion who is genocidal, Control wants to help Leon altruistically.
- Benevolent A.I.: Control wants to help Leon altruistically. They help Leon develop as a person.
- The Confidant: His role is to listen and help Leon tackle problems.
- Suspiciously Similar Substitute: To Luxion, though Control is more altruistic to help Leon.
