The Primordials

The first gods to emerge from the chaos at the beginning of creation. The originals are referred to as Primordials where their immediate descendants are "Primes".

    Erebus
Scribe: Melissa Stoddart
Primordial of Darkness and ex-husband of Nyx.
  • Bad Powers, Good People: Most of his powers would fit a dark lord or Evil Sorcerer but he's generally a mellow, evenhanded guy.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: The literal embodiment of darkness, yet he is not a villain.
  • Good Is Not Nice: He's not the warmest guy but despite his powerset and the "atmosphere" he gives off, he's a decent man who doesn't want to harm others.
  • Humanoid Abomination: He appears to be an attractive man, at first, but his a primordial god from the beginning of time who embodies the first most primary fear of all humanity. While he can be congenial he is also deeply unsettling.
  • Lovecraftian Superpower: The embodiment of darkness, his power usually manifests as tendrils that bring out the deepest fears in others.

    Eris
Scribe: Dan Dolan
God/dess of Discord and Strife and child of Nyx.

  • Cloud Cuckoo Lander: The more the chaos scatters their mind, the more they act like this. It is usually played for comedy as they talk in non-sequiturs and surrealist humor but it can also be played more darkly as they start to exhibit symptoms of psychotic break.
  • Composite Character: Eris is portrayed as the child of Nyx, the character acknowledges the versions of the story were there are two Erises, with one being born of Zeus and Hera, but this is portrayed as just another of their tricks.
  • Lightning Bruiser: Is stronger than many as a war god but unlike Ares they aren't especially known for their brute strength as much as they are known for speed and agility.
  • Nightmare Fetishist: Not only genuinely enjoys the stuff, but also enjoys the horrified reactions they get from their interests.
  • Perky Goth: Has described their aesthetic as Hot Topic by way of Disney World Halloween.
  • Sex Shifter: Thanks to their godly power of shapeshifting they are able to explore their genderfluidity to it's logical conclusion.
  • Slap-Slap-Kiss: Played with. Violence certainly excites them. They've often sincerely flirted with others in response to a threat.
  • Super-Strength: As a god of war they are stronger than an average deity.
  • The Trickster: A member of the unofficial "Team Mischief" and a particular troublesome trickster who delights in causing as much chaos as possible and legitimately does not understand why others take issue with this.
  • The Un-Favorite: Believes themself to be a bit of a black sheep in a family of black sheep, using not being invited to the infamous wedding that started the Trojan War as the prime example of this.
  • Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds: Revealed to have caused the Trojan War with their famous apple as they felt being uninvited to Thetis' wedding was the last straw in their family's long history of neglect and passive abuse.

    Nemesis
Scribe: Aisling MacKay
Prime of Retribution and daughter of Nyx.
  • The Dreaded: In a benevolent sense, as she is not a villain, but all of the gods, including other primordials, are afraid to get on her bad side.
  • Implacable Man: Woman, in this case. She is a telepath, who can sense evil and will stop at nothing to bring those she deems worthy of it to justice. Even if it takes her centuries.
  • Telepathy: One of her most formidable (and feared) powers. Let's her see the truth of a person's guilt and any other reason they may need a karmic comeuppance.

    Thanatos
Scribe: Marc Tizura
Prime of Death and son of Nyx.
  • Bad Powers, Good People: He's death! ...he also runs a candy shop.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: He's death itself but he's a pretty cool guy.
  • Psychopomp: He is portrayed as the sole god of Death here, where in mythology he was one of many gods who represented different ways to die.
  • The Stoic: Not much for outward displays of emotion, he has indicated he feels them though through dialogue and action just keeps them mostly to himself when he can.
  • The Quiet One: A deity of few words, allowing their looming presence in the dark corner of a room and most importantly their actions do most of the talking for them.

The Titans

The ruling gods that immediately preceded the Olympians rule. Overthrown by Zeus during the Titanomachy.
    Prometheus
Scribe: DM White
The Titan of Forethought and Creator of Man.
  • Playing with Fire: Thanks to keeping a spark of the first flame, he is still able to produce fiery attacks despite not being a god of fire.

The Olympians

The Olympians are the major deities of the Pantheon World, though the name denotes the generation that spawned from them, rather than the fifteen it is typically associated with. Their name, Olympians, originates from Mount Olympus, which was their ancestral residence.

The Olympians came into power after dethroning the Titans, which resulted at the end of the great war between the Olympians and the Titans, called the Titanomachy or the Ten Year War. This council presides over the Assembly of Deities when called.

    Demeter
Scribe: Christine Graves
Goddess of the Harvest and the Sacred Law.

    Hades
Scribe: John Decarteret
God of the Dead and King of the Underworld.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Unlike many modern portrayals where Hades is equated with the Devil he is portrayed here much as he was in myth, as a wise and judicious ruler.
    Hera
Scribe: CJ Landry
Queen of the Gods and Goddess of Marriage.
  • The High Queen: Although the character's violent past has been acknowledged, the stories more focus on the competent and respected ruler she's become in the modern day.
  • Shock and Awe: The only god allowed to use Zeus' thunderbolts other than himself.

    Poseidon
Scribe: Theo Laurent
God of the Sea and King of Atlantis.
  • Mr. Fanservice: Many characters have remarked on his rugged good looks, not to mention his frequent shirtlessness.
  • The Stoic: Unflappable, since he's been back he reacts to extreme changes in his family with only mild surprise.

The Gods

The other gods of the Olympian generation that do not currently sit on the council of fifteen.
    Amphitrite
Scribe: Natalie Bartley
Goddess of the Sea and Queen of Atlantis.
  • Adaptational Badass: Originally a nymph that Poseidon made his Queen, here she is portrayed as a powerful sea goddess in her own right. Implied to have received power from a Passing the Torch with the old goddess Thalassa.

    Caerus
Scribe: Jason Elmassian
God of Luck and Opportunity
    Clio
Scribe: Alice Callisto
Muse of History and Goddess of the Soul
  • Composite Character: Revealed to have been Psyche all along, because of the machinations of her mother the Goddess of Memory Mnemosyne
  • Happily Married: To Eros; they have their rough patches but it doesn't stem from how they feel towards each other.
  • Morality Pet: For Eros specifically and "Team Mischief" as a whole, often keeping them from doing some pretty horrific things just For the Evulz.

    Moxie
Scribe: Moxie Malone
The Goddess of Metamorphosis and Social Psychology.
  • The Ace: Downplayed. Is near universally beloved and has adapted better and much easier to the modern day and all its trappings than the other gods but doesn't make a big deal about it.
  • Canon Foreigner: The only original character, grandfathered in from the group's origins on Twitter.
  • Happily Adopted: Raised by Hera and often called her favorite child.
