London's Team
Mike London
Portrayed By: José Gras
- Insistent Terminology: That's Lt. Mike London to you.
- Captain Obvious: "Buildings have people in them. We'd better go investigate."
- Deadpan Snarker: Sort of. Most of his jokes don't really make any sense, though.
- Third-Person Person: Almost always refers to himself as Lt. Mike London.
Vincent
Portrayed By: Selan Karay
- The Casanova: Spends much of his downtime flirting with Lia, something London is opposed to.
Zantoro
Portrayed By: Franco Garofalo
- Blood Knight: He seems to enjoy killing, whether it be humans or zombies.
- Comedic Sociopathy: His interactions with zombies consist mainly of series of hilarious taunts, until Osborn's death.
- Despair Event Horizon: Not long after Osborn's death, Zantoro starts to get a lot more agressive with the zombies, and a lot less cautious. After Pierre's death, he can't shoot straight anymore, and the zombies take advantage of that.
- Establishing Character Moment: When Osborn has one of the terrorists cornered and unarmed, Zantoro sneaks up behind him and slashes the terrorist's throat.
- Gosh Darn It to Heck!: Prefers not to swear, saying things like, "Ah, Nuts!" In high-stress situations, he will let forth a few curses.
- Jerkass: After Lia tries to take command of the group, Zantoro takes her gun away, tries to shoot her, and makes fun of her when he realizes it isn't loaded.
- Large Ham: In a cast full of these, Zantoro stands out as the hammiest.
- Sanity Slippage: Shown when he wears his hat backwards, just like Osborn did. Zantoro catches himself and realizes he's losing it.
- Sociopathic Hero: Kills unarmed opponents, tries to kill Lia, routinely gets in the middle of large crowds of zombies while calling them names and cracking jokes.
- Surrounded by Idiots: Calls out the rest of the team about the fact that he's the only one who aims for the zombies' heads, even after visibly demonstrating multiple times that was the only way to kill them.
- There Is No Kill Like Over Kill: In moments of stress, Zantoro will unload whole magazines into the zombies.
Osborn
Portrayed By: Josep Lluís Fonoll
- Oh, Crap!: When he dances into a room full of zombies. The expression on his face is priceless.
- Too Dumb to Live: After a very quick search of the house, he finds a cane, top hat, and a dress, leaves his weapons behind, and pretty much dances into a room full of zombies.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: With Zantoro. When the group splits in two, Zantoro and Osborn will be together. He also doesn't think much of Zantoro's humor. His death hits Zantoro pretty hard; he's so enraged that he can't shoot straight.
- Walking Spoiler: His death kicks off the ending of the film, causing Zantoro's death and indirectly everyone else's.
Others
Lia Rousseau
Portrayed By: Margit Evelyn Newton
- Break the Cutie: She becomes utterly despondent when she finds out that the Hope Centers were developing The Virus to curb Third World Nation populations.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: Gets eaten alive, with her tongue ripped out, followed by a zombie hand being shoved through her mouth, into her cranium, and poking her eyes out.
- Eye Scream
- Final Girl: She was the last of the main characters to die, beating London by a few seconds.
Pierre
Portrayed By:
- The Last Straw: His death was this for Zantoro, angering him to the point that he no longer shoots straight and allowing the zombies to kill him.
- Lethally Stupid: He's not very smart. His death causes Zantoro's, without Zantoro around, Vincent gets bitten while watching Lia and London's back, and so on....
- The Load: Never contributes anything to the mission. Never takes up arms against the zombies, never does anything beyond being present. And get Zantoro killed.
- The Millstone
- Sidekick: To Lia, the Bumbling variety.
- Too Dumb to Live: His first thought upon seeing moaning, shambling corpses walking towards him was that they were drunk. Immediately after this, he decides the best way to get away is to run through the zombies. His death also qualifies, considering that his death resulted from him not bothering to move away from an open elevator filled with zombies. This gets him and Zantoro killed.
