With its All Myths Are True nature, there are a lot of gods running around in Harry and the Shipgirls. Though they are considered minor deities, Shipgirls are listed in their respective nations' pages.

Shinto

The Japanese Pantheon.

     "Sunny" Amaterasu
  • Big Friendly Dog: Oh so very much. Tends to run around in the mortal world as a big white dog or wolf based on the Okami character.
  • Cool Shades: Very often seen with a pair while in disguise
  • Shout-Out: Has explicitly taken the form of her character from Ōkami. She may in fact have inspired the creation of the game.
    • Given her relationship with Taylor, also a reference to Constellations.
  • Top God: Head and leader of the entire Shinto Pantheon.
  • Troll: if you've read the aforementioned Fanfic, you'll know how she acts. Especially when she heard how Harry called Kannazuki (when all the Japanese Gods gather at Izumo Shrine) "Kami-con" she gave everyone a souvenir Kamicon t-shirt.

     Yodogawa
A Mizuchi and Kami of the river of the same name.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: While Yodogawa might act like a Scatterbrained Senior quite often, she is still one of the more powerful Mizuchi. This was illustrated by her Roaring Rampage of Revenge when her husband Etsumi died during Blood Week, where she wiped out every single Abyssal in 100 miles of Osaka, and it took the combined efforts of one of Ryuujin's daughters, Toyotama-Hime, as well as fellow high-ranking Mizuchi Shinanogawa, to restrain her long enough for her retainer Kizu to convince her to stop.
  • Gentle Giant: When Yodogawa went on her Roaring Rampage of Revenge, she was quite careful to only kill the Abyssals with her waters. Any humans who were in her river were gently deposited on her shores.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: Yodogawa's Scatterbrained Senior routine has been implied to actually be an act to keep other Mizuchi from trying to harm her family.
  • Physical God: Like all Mizuchi, Yodogawa is the deity of the river she represents.
  • Scatterbrained Senior: How much of this is an act currently is unknown.
  • Verbal Tic: Mou!

     Kinryuu
A Mizuchi, daughter of Yodogawa, and spirit of the river of the same name. Also the Natural-born IJN Kinryuu.
  • Gilded Cage: After what happened to her father, her mother's retainers refuse to allow her to join the Abyssal War, even though it's literally her calling as a shipgirl.
  • Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: Kinryuu is a Mizuchi Carrier.
  • Physical God: Like all Mizuchi, Kinryuu is the deity of the river she represents. She is also the Natural-born IJN Kinryuu.

     Hachiman
Japanese God of Farmers and War
  • Benevolent Boss: Serves this role for his three Blades...
  • Beleaguered Boss: ...Of course said Blades are Muramasa-no-Norimune, Masamune-no-Tokunotakai, and Colombe du Chasteler....
  • Deity of Human Origin: Was originally Emperor Ōjin in life before being deified as the god of warriors
  • Patron God: Of Colombe du Chasteler, Muramasa-no-Norimune, and Masamune-no-Tokunatakai

     Ame-no-Uzume

     Izanami

Aesir and Vanir

The Norse Pantheon

     Thor
  • Crossdresser: Did this to attend Haruna and Rose's wedding, with some help from Loki.

     Loki
  • Trickster God: Helped Thor attend Haruna and Rose's wedding, but did so by making him one of the waitresses, dress and all.

     Tyr
Norse god of War and Justice, selected Neville Longbottom as his Champion
  • Honor Before Reason: As the Norse god of War and Justice, this comes with the territory.
  • Blue-and-Orange Morality: As part of his calling Neville Longbottom to become his Champion, Tyr has fated Neville to die young and violently in victorious battle. It's noteworthy that in Norse culture, this is the 'best death' for a warrior, and Neville will be reunited with his loved ones (both his ancestors and wives) in Valhalla after Neville's fated death.

     Freya
Norse goddess of war, fertility, marriage, sex, and beauty
  • Patron God: Of Ehren's paternal family (the von und zu Wolffs) who are responsible for the binding of something extremely nasty in the woods surrounding the estate. This relationship dates back to the establishment of their family in Prussia by the Teutonic Knight Komtur Erik Ulv who was also secretly a powerful Champion of Freyja.
  • Shipper on Deck: Is called upon by Lugh and White Buffalo Calf Woman to link Ehren du Chasteler's romantic destiny with Draco Malfoy's as a reward for Ehren's resolution of the Fenris Wolf crisis.note

Dodekatheon

The Greek Pantheon

     Heracles

     Apollo
Greek god of the Sun, Archery, Music, and Prophecy, twin of Artemis.
  • Sibling Rivalry: With his twin, Artemis. During the Olympics, they both bet on two different archers, Apollos on his Love Interest Therese du Chasteler-Potter, Artemis on the Natural-Born shipgirl spirit of the Meleager.

     Artemis
Greek goddess of the Moon, Hunting, and Archery, twin of Apollo.
  • Sibling Rivalry: With her twin, Apollo. During the Olympics, they both bet on two different archers, Apollos on his Love Interest Therese du Chasteler-Potter, Artemis on the spirit of the Meleager.

     Athena
Greek goddess of war, wisdom, and handicrafts
  • Behind Every Great Man: It's been hinted that unknown to Rick Riordan, she serves as his literary agent to popularize and publish his young adult books as a gambit to prepare humanity for the revelation of the reality of the Greco-Roman deities and also groom future Champions for her and her allies to recruit when needed.
  • The Chessmaster: Has taken upon herself to subtly guide the Greek Pantheon into navigating the dawning new Age of Heroes. She's even seen playing chess with Colombe's Papa as the two scheme on how to take advantage of the impending revelation of magic's existence.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Arachne, after some Character Development on both sides of the relationship. note
  • The Smart Guy: It's her hat, although it has had a tendency to veer into excessive overconfidence in her abilities to predict events in the past. Fortunately, she's gotten much better with it.

     Zeus
Chief of the Olympian gods.
  • Really Gets Around: Zeus has only stopped his womanizing ways with mortals when the Divine Accords forbid gods interfering in mortal affairs. He still tries to seduce most of the goddesses he meets.
  • You Can't Fight Fate: It's implied that he will eventually fall victim to this trope, as his learning about condoms has led to a renewed interest in potentially romancing Metis.

Persedjet

The Ancient Egyptian Pantheon

     Amisi Sunriver-Weasley
The spirit of an Ancient Egyptian sunship (royal yacht and ceremonial barge) that was interred in the magical tomb of her Pharoah to be his companion and ship in the afterlife. Now functionally the High Priestess and Champion of Horus-Ra.
  • Comically Missing the Point: Some of her attempts to fit events of the modern day into her Ancient Egyptian mindset. An example is her burning incense to praise and thank 'Queen Victoria of the Secrets' for being blessed by the Gods with the gift of modern comfortable underwear.
  • Drums of War: How her rowers keep time in her power plant. One particular frenetic beat is the signal for 'doki-doki speed'.
  • Fish out of Temporal Water: Was laid down during Ancient Egypt in the Bronze Age. Is currently acting as Percy Weasley's bodyguard and secretary.
  • Human Popsicle: What her well over three thousand years of time spent in the tomb's enchanted stasis spells functionally was.
  • Glass Cannon: She literally has the defensive capabilities of the Bronze Age river-going rowboat that her hull is. However, her empowered low to mid-tier magical spells can and do vaporize Dementors instantly. Her highest tier of empowered spells can blow apart an Abyssal Ta-class battleship in one shot.
  • Glowing Eyes of Doom: When she winds up to destroy the battleship, as if the golden aura glowing too bright to see with solar energies and levitating weren't enough of a clue that Amisi had taken the gloves totally off when calling on Horus, Ra, Aten, and other Egyptian Solar deities to channel their power into her.
  • Innocent Fanservice Girl: Ancient Egyptian female garments were either nearly transparent thin linen, or body paint thanks to the desert climate. Fortunately for the Weasleys, Amisi is finally taking to modern fashion in public (in part to avoid freezing her stern off in a English winter).
  • Kamehame Hadoken: Seems to prefer flinging solar-charged fireballs as her go-to spell against Creatures of Darkness.
  • Living Relic: Remembers the days of her youth in ancient Egypt and will eventually be one of the greatest historical sources for the Bronze Age.
  • The Nicknamer: Related to the plethora of regnal names that Egyptian royalty and divinities were given, Amisi has private names for her loved ones. Percy Weasley is 'He Between Three Ladies, Steersman of My Heart', Ooyodo is 'She of the Four Eyes, Proficient in Paperwork', and Supprin is 'She of the Iron Hands, Bountiful in Supplies'.
  • Reincarnation Romance: With Percy Weasley, who she sees as the reincarnation of her Pharoah.
  • Religion is Magic: Amisi is a consecrated priestess of several Egyptian deities as a Daughter of Ra so therefore she channels their power as part of her spellcrafting. Which was quite painful for the Dementors to discover her invocation of Horus-Ra after they threatened Percy on the Hogwarts Express. And then later equally painful and fatal for a Ta-class Abyssal threatening Percy when Amisi uses the Sun to power what is functionally a massive gas-powered laser.

     Henutsekhemu and Nefertiabet Potter
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/evuikmcvcamuf7g.jpg
Harry's twin granddaughters via his son with Natsumi who marries the Egyptian snake-goddess Kebechet.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Technically only one of their four grandparents is human (Harry Potter) with the others being a kitsune (Natsumi), and the Egyptian deities Anubis and Anput.
  • Identical Twin ID Tag: The main visual differentiator between them is that Henut has longer fennec fox ears while Nefer's are shorter and more triangular red fox ears. They do have somewhat different personalities, though.
  • Most Common Superpower: Puberty was VERY generous to them, which Ptolemy (who hasn't seen his childhood friends face to face since they and he were initiated in Egyptian heka magic at age 12 by their parents) immediately notices when he meets them again on an archeological dig.
  • Twins Are Special: Both of them are minor and junior Egyptian deities serving as psychopomps who help their grandfather Anubis manage and handle the afterlife by guiding souls to the correct destination. Also, they serve as some of the Pesedjet's troubleshooters on the Mortal Plane against threats such as the Cult of Apep alongside Ptolemy.
  • Twin Telepathy: Have a very close twin bond, and frequently act as one soul in two bodies.
  • Twin Threesome Fantasy: What their boyfriend and Champion Ptolemy Sunriver-Malfoy winds up in with them — thanks in large part to Henut and Nefer being very into each other. This is in part because Egyptian Mythological cultural norms vastly restrict their dating pool. Basically the only person acceptable to the Pesedjet would have to be directly descended from another deity, a Pharaoh, or a Champion touched by the Divine by a major deity. Fortunately for the Twins, Ptolemy checks all the worthiness boxes as the grandson of a major Divine Champion (Draco Malfoy), two shipgirl minor deities (Cleopatra and Amisi Sunriver), and the reincarnation of a Pharaoh (Percy Weasley). As for Ptolemy, the Twins share everything....
Ptolemy took a deep breath. "Yeah, you two aren't the skinny girls I took the ritual bath with to get initiated. Wow, you're something else now." Both girls blushed and preened. "Anyway, I got into the habit of working out while playing backup Beater for Horned Serpent's Quidditch team at Ilvermorny and kind of kept it up while going on to college at Ann Arbor. They have a top-tier Egyptology program."

Henutsekhemu nodded along. "So I heard from the family grapevine on Mom's side. They are doing good things with preserving and recovering our legacy. So, job offer time." She took his hand in hers, causing him to gulp. "Since you're not dead just yet, you technically aren't in my remit, but I can get around that by forging a Chosen bond with you, That will let you commute between the mortal realm and here in the Afterlife, so you can help me practice and get certified as a Guardian of the Dead. In exchange, I'll help you with your researches."

Nefertiabet coughed and grabbed his other hand. "We will, Sis. Remember that we are a package deal! We can loophole it so he's Chosen of us both by mutual agreement. I'll be helping Henut with her certification and also you can help me develop my skills as well." Nefertiabet leaned closer as Henutsekhmu did the same from his other side. "So, do you want to join your soul with ours as a Chosen of Us?"

Tuatha Dé Danann

The Irish Celtic Pantheon

     Morrigan
Creator of the Select.
  • Blue-and-Orange Morality: Very inhuman mindset, which puts her at odds with other pantheons. Sees nothing wrong with turning normal humans into Weirdness Magnets, thus attracting all manners of violent monsters and magical creatures.

     Lugh
Irish Sun/Fertility God, head of the Celtic Pantheon
  • The Ace: A master in all fields that he exerts himself in. It's even in one of his epithets: Lú Samhildánach (Loo sawil-daunach), Lugh the Skilled-in-everything.
  • The Chessmaster: Is a ruthless schemer when necessary to accomplish his ends. As a result, he and Draco Malfoy get along quite well as a team.
  • Patron God: Of Draco Malfoy.

First Peoples

The Gods of the various Native American Tribes

     White Buffalo Calf Woman
Mother deity of the Lakota (Sioux) Indians
  • Big Good: For the Lakota Pantheon.
  • I Did What I Had to Do: Her actions in arranging for Mika's adoption by the Soctomahs. Delilah and Mika aren't happy but eventually accept the necessity that this sacrifice was the only way to prevent the Horned Serpent from being unleashed by TOTEM out of desperation during Blood Week.
  • Patron God: Of Delilah de Breuil, Louise Winona and later Ehren du Chasteler and Delilah and Louise's daughter Mika Soctomah-de Breuil.

Primordials

The Gods worshipped before the advent of civilization

     Tara Stone/Mother Earth
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/579.png
No, she's not flat
A woman who works as a tour guide at Cape Canaveral, Florida. Secretly the spirit of Earth itself.
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: She's the spirit of the Earth itself.
  • Berserk Button: Strongly hinted to be Flat-Earthers.
  • Big Good: Among the deities of Earth, was chosen to be the ultimate enforcer of the Celestial Accords both because she can be trusted to be impartial, and because no god on Earth is more powerful than the spirit of Earth itself.
  • Earth Mother: Literally Mother Earth herself.
  • Expy: Tara's appearance is an homage to Earth-Chan.
  • Loophole Abuse: Tara might be the most powerful deity of all, but all she's doing is being a tour guide at Cape Canaveral. There's no rule saying deities can't do that.
  • Patron God: Of Hagrid.

     Davy Jones
The First Mariner, and perhaps the primordial ocean deity. In charge of the spiritual plane Fiddler's Green where shipgirls wait to be summoned and go to upon their sinking as do mariners upon their death.
  • Patron God: Of Ron Weasley. This is mainly because Ron wishes to prevent shipgirls from being sunk, which makes Davy's job considerably easier.

     Wolf Mother
Patron deity of canines, including werewolves and inugami
  • Blue-and-Orange Morality: Has a very alien mindset to humanity's, but is somewhat benevolent if not angered.
  • The Dreaded: Simply running into her caused Odin to defecate himself.
  • Patron God: To her Shamaness, Claire du Chasteler. Thanks to the importance of music and storytelling in prehistoric stone age societies, Claire and she understand each other reasonably well.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: One of the boons that she has given Claire is to turn into a large cave wolf at will. Claire generally uses this to cadge belly rubs and ear skritchies from Ehren.

Abrahamic Faith

The God, Prophets, Angels and Demons of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam

     Urzaad
A succubus sent to fulfill Kamilla Kozma's Deal with the Devil.
  • Ascended Demon: Becomes an angel after meeting Father Jacques and having her soul cleansed.
  • Being Evil Sucks: Does it ever for her! Especially when she winds up as the low demon on the totem pole sent to infiltrate a school teeming with Divine Champions and the spirits of several holy weapons.
  • Emotion Eater: Succubi feed on emotions,. Urzaad is a deviant who secretly prefers the 'brighter' emotions like love and happiness rather than pain, fear, and lust.
  • Horrifying the Horror: What happens when she inadvertently probes the shoggoth mind of Brigita Dunsany.
Then Urzaad locked eyes with Brigita.

Involuntarily, the succubus suddenly sensed the thoughts of the creature that she was now probing with her powers.

Sweat beaded Urzaad's forehead along with a sudden sharp sensation caused by the cacophony of the alien mind that she was sensing and hEaRINg.

It felt like Brigita was stabbing a frozen ice pick through her brain.

Images of memories not her own filled her mind once more in the memory link.

The sEnSAti0nS of utterly devouring with her multiplicity of ever-hungry mouths the tasty biomatter of Acromantulas and a delicious-creature that Lorelei-Date had called a würgen-Butzemann that had been threatening Lorelei-Date and Greg-Date....

Desperately Urzaad clamped down hard on the unwanted and involuntary connection, slamming her strongest psychic shields into place to sever the link while she staggered and collapsed into a nearby chair.
  • Stress Vomit: Her go-to reaction to running into members of the main cast, especially the ones who can kick her (relatively underpowered) ass.
  • Succubi and Incubi: Was a succubus, although she can and does shapeshift to disguise herself as the Fourth Year student 'Ulrike von Goethe'.

Other

The Gods that are not part of any of the above Pantheons.
