     Harry

Voiced by: Andrew Chalmers (Canada), Emma Tate (UK)
The main character of the series, a five-year-old boy.
  • Catchphrase: Says, "I'm on my way to Dinoworld!" whenever he's on his way there.
  • Cheerful Child: While he can be grumpy sometimes, he is usually very upbeat.
  • Filthy Fun: "But I Like Mud" focuses on him, well, liking mud.
  • Phrase Catcher: Prompts both his mother and the dinosaurs to say, "One, two, three, jump!".
  • Large Ham: Downplayed. While he's not always dramatic, he does sometimes become dramatic.
  • Limited Wardrobe: Mainly wears a red and yellow shirt and blue jeans.
  • Nearly Normal Animal: Not usually, but in the Storybook Episode, he turns into a frog and despite looking like a frog and only being able to say, "ribbit", he still had a human's personality (such as thinking flies tasted gross).
  • Prince Charmless: Parodied, exploited and discussed. When he becomes a prince, he turns into a frog and to turn him back, a princess has to kiss him, so they ask the Princess of Dinoworld, only she doesn't want to marry him and according to the fairy tale rules, if she kisses a prince charming, they have to get married. The dinosaurs try to convince her that Harry is not a prince charming and therefore she wouldn't have to marry him, but the things they list are very minor (like "his socks don't match" and "he snores").
  • Pun: In "I've Got the Giggles", he makes a pun (Knock knock, who's there? Harry. Harry who? Harry up and let us in).
  • Sick Episode: He catches a cold in "Achoo".
  • Vocal Evolution: In the Canadian dub, his voice gets deeper in the second season due to his voice actor hitting puberty.

     Charley
Voiced by: Amanda Soha (Canada)
Harry's best friend, a girl about his age.
  • Nice Girl: Is a very kind and good friend to Harry and the dinosaurs.
  • Pink Means Feminine: Subverted. She has pink pajamas but is not very girly at all.
  • Tomboy: She is shown to be interested in dinosaurs and playing sports just like Harry.

     Sam
Voiced by: Bryn McAuley (Canada), Lynn Cleckner (UK)
Harry's older sister, who has a band.

Voiced by: Jamie Watson (Canada), Jimmy Hibbert (UK)
A Tyrannosaurus, a dinosaur who likes to show off but isn't as brave as he wants to be.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Downplayed, but he can get jealous if he feels he isn't Harry's favourite dinosaur.
  • Hyperactive Metabolism: When he eats chicken soup, his itchy-spot-itis goes away instantly.
  • Large Ham: He has habit of being very expressive.
  • Lovable Coward: Zigzagged. He sometimes seems fearless and other times he freaks out.

  • Sick Episode: Catches "Itchy-spot-itis" in "Achoo".
  • Something Itis: In "Achoo", he gets a disease called "Itchy-spot-itis".

Voiced by: Stacey DePass (Canada), Lynn Cleckner (UK)
An Apatosaurus and the only female dinosaur, who also likes wordplay.

  • Hyperactive Metabolism: When she gets sick in "Achoo", chicken soup cures her.
  • Pink Means Feminine: She is a pink Apatosaurus who also happens to be a female.
  • Sick Episode: In "Achoo", she gets a disease that makes her neck grow longer.

     Sid
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sid1.gif
Voiced by: Juan Chioran (Canada), Ben Small (UK)
The Scelidosaurus, who is very knowledgeable.
  • Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: Wears glasses, unlike the rest of the dinosaurs who don't wear anything.
  • Book Smart: Sid knows a lot of stuff because he reads a lot of nonfiction.
  • Book Worm: The reason why he knows so much is because he reads a lot of non-fiction books.
  • Ditzy Genius: Is not above joining in on the gang's latest bad idea, or enabling them with technicalities
  • Hyperactive Metabolism: Like all the other dinosaurs who got sick in "Achoo", he was cured by chicken soup.
  • Inflating Body Gag: In "Achoo", he gets "heliumnus balloonis", which is a disease that makes him float and inflate like a balloon.
  • Sick Episode: Was one of the dinosaurs to get sick in "Achoo", he got "heliumnus balloonis".

     Trike
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/trike2.gif
Voiced by: Ron Rubin (Canada), Tom Eastwood (UK)
The triceratops.
  • Afraid of Doctors: Was initially afraid to see the horn doctor because he thought she was an alien.
  • Big Eater: While he doesn't have a Black-Hole Belly, he has a pretty big appetite.
  • Hyperactive Metabolism: His hornache gets cured by chicken soup.
  • Plot Allergy: Downplayed. He does get hayfever, but it doesn't serve a major role in the plot, just leads to a few sneeze-related gags in "Get Growing".
  • Sick Episode: Gets a horn ache in "Achoo" and again in one episode involving doctors.
  • Sweet Tooth: Seems to be fond of dessert.

Voiced by: Jonathan Wilson (Canada), David Holt (UK)
The Stegosaurus, who is a bit nervy.

     Princess
A stuck-up princess who looks like a wooden toy and appeared in several episodes. She also likes ballet.

     Scorch
A dragon who's appeared in several episodes.
  • Fire-Breathing Diner: When he loses his fire, Harry tries to invoke this by feeding him a concoction made of various spicy ingredients.
  • Meaningful Name: A fire-breathing dragon named Scorch.
  • Sick Episode: Subverted in "Emergency". He appears sick, but actually he just needs to be burped like a baby.

     Nancy
A clumsy dinosaur who sometimes appears.
  • Genki Girl: She's very active and perky.
  • The Klutz: Very clumsy, she knocks things over so often that the other dinosaurs are a bit afraid of her.
  • Lethal Klutz: She's knocked over scenery and accidentally trapped the dinosaurs in popcorn.
  • Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: It's not revealed if her species name really is unlucky to say or if the bird pooping on Trike was just a coincidence.
  • The Scottish Trope: The dinosaurs believe that saying her species (nanosaurus) is unlucky.
  • Toilet Humour: Whenever Trike says her species name, a bird poops on him.
