     Heroes

     Villagers

  • Edible Ammunition: The Master Baker has a unique, yet useless, ability to throw bread at enemies.

     Monks

  • Bare-Fisted Monk: All of their attacks are unarmed strikes, even though some of the monks carry batons for some reason.

     Acolytes and Underlings

  • Wicked Witch: The Witch is neither an acolyte nor an underling, but is nonetheless part of their group.

     Elves, High Elves, and Drow

  • Guys Smash, Girls Shoot: Downplayed. All three races have rangers and mages of both genders, but their warriors are all male.

     Dwarves and Deep Dwarves

     Halflings and Kobolds

  • Hobbits: They're one pixel shorter than most characters.

     Goblins

     Orcs

     Cyclopes and Triclopes

  • Palette Swap: All triclopes and most cyclopes can only be told apart by the colors of their clothes. The Cyclops Lord breaks the mold by wearing a crown on his head.

     Gnomes

     Undead

  • Dem Bones: There are three types of skeletons, two types of liches, and one floating skull to choose from.

     Vermin

     Spirits

     Yetis

     Trolls

  • Zerg Rush: Trolls only spawn in one area in the game, but there's always a large number of them. If you land in their territory, you will get swarmed.

     Gremlins

     Oddities

  • Chest Monster: Mimics. Not that it does them any good, because the game doesn't even have treasure chests.
  • Joke Character: The living statues. Good luck beating the game with a character that cannot walk.
  • Viral Transformation: Cubes have no offensive powers; their only attack transforms their opponent into another cube.

     Crabmen

     Eyeballs and Brain Suckers

  • Grand Theft Me: Control is the signature ability of the brain suckers, which lets them switch bodies with their target.

     Elementals

     Ents and Animals

  • Killer Rabbit: In the hands of a competent player, even small and cute animals like the Cucco and Puppy can kick reasonable amounts of ass.

     Dragons

  • Secret Character: The Platinum Dragon and its family don't spawn naturally in the dungeon, and can only be acquired using the free unlock that you get for beating the game.

     Birdmen

  • Bird People: They resemble skinny humanoids with large beaks and wings for arms.

     Bosses

  • Cowardly Boss: Unlike every other boss, the Chicksnakentiger flies away from you if you approach it. Good luck trying to catch it if you didn't pick a flying character.
  • Humongous Mecha: GIANT ROBOT. Though, due to the game's art style, it's hard to tell if it's humongous or just a bit tall.
  • King Mook: Quite a few bosses are giant versions of common dungeon enemies, such as Cthulhu (a giant Brain Sucker) and the Ent King.
  • Tin Tyrant: Iron Knight, Dragon Knight, and Shadow Knight, three bosses that resemble giant warriors in plate armor.

     Blue Squad and Green Squad
