If you’re looking for a healing touch, you’ve come to the right place. Michi Fukai is the one of the beast acupuncturists around. Born and raised in Osaka, many local residents can attest not only to the quality of the treatment but also the level of professionalism. He earned his practitioner’s certificate before he was 15-years-old and assisted in running one of the most successful acupuncture offices in all of Osaka.

Inoue Hikaru

Super High School Level Dog Trainer

Inoue Hikaru is a 16 year old boy who grew up with his adoptive parents in Japan. His biggest passion has always been animals, some even say that he likes them more than people! He can be quite shy and doesn’t like being in the center of attention, but he’s polite to those who actually approach him.

Miles Hygh

Super High School Level Historian

Hailing from a noble family to a far away, secluded island Monarchy, Miles is known as a well established Prince and heir to the throne to the population of Wrwwwlwd. He spends most of his days with studies and extravagant royal duties, but he’s much more interested in slacking off and going on grandiose small-scale ‘adventures’ around the isle. Despite his age, Miles is the nations sole keeper of historical records, cultural artifacts, and their upkeep; this has gained innumerable amounts of attention directed towards him from academics and, of course, Hope’s Peak Academy. To most of the public eye, however, Miles and his entire country is much more of a trivia fact than anything else. Where was it he’s from again…?

Jiang Xin

Super High School Level Karateka

Xin Jiang, or known as Sin Chang for easier pronounciation, acquired the world renowned black belt despite having been trained late. With his quick time reactions and high stamina, he bested the rest of his school's karateka in no time, followed by the numerous championships won under his title, national and beyond. Despite being a new name to the world of martial arts, he's quite popular among sports fanatics. Unfortunately, all the fame has gone to his head. As long as he doesn't lose it, he'll be fine...ish.

Hamasaki Ren

Super High School Level Marine Biologist

Not very well known outside of biology field, Hamasaki Ren known for discovering a new type of marine life when he was 11, effectively proving his capacity for studying advanced marine biology much younger than most people could, mostly through dedication and interest in the subject. Albeit not officially having such a title, as he needs to finish school to get officially study marine biology, Ren is recognized as a biologist in training all the same. His extensive research in ocean life helped to properly classify many other species.

Percival Ravenway

Super High School Level Personal Guard

Percival comes from the obscure island country of Wrwvv’wlwd. Like all other members of the famed Ravenway family, he is tasked with serving and protecting the Wrwvv’wld royalty, in particular, Miles Hygh. Though many have not heard of Wrwvv’wlwd, they may have heard of Sunset Academy, a training facility infamous worldwide for their harsh but effective methods in teaching its students a variety of skills. Survival, swordsmanship, hand-to-hand combat, and archery are just a few in the curriculum. The Academy keeps its secrets closely guarded, but it’s a public fact that the graduation rates are grim despite the amount of people clamoring to receive training from around the world. Percival made quite a splash in his home country when he graduated with all honors, a feat only achieved a handful of times in Sunset history, impressive even for a Ravenway. After he and Miles moved to Japan for a cultural learning experience, the accomplishments of both ultimately attracted attention from another esteemed school, this time a “real” one. Hope’s Peak.

Noburu Hoshiko

Super High School Level Astrologist

Hoshiko is a skilled Astrologist with an amazing connection to the stars. At only age 16, she has published three books and runs a very successful blog online. All across the world people wait months for the scarily accurate readings from Hoshiko. Noburu’s is family highly supportive of their child’s talents and are proud of her success. Not much else is known about her or her family as they prefer to keep the family’s privacy. Her books “The Basics of Astrology”, “Getting to Know the Signs”, and “How Astronomy and Astrology Work Together”, are all available in stores now.

Jane Hanson

Super High School Level Competitive Eater

A seemingly regular, giggly girl at the looks of things, Jane Hanson is the SHSL Competitive Eater, accepted into Hope’s Peak for her unbeaten streak of winning competitive eating contests, managing to beat the unbeaten champ in Japan! According to sources, she apparently began her career in the 6th grade! Jane is much shorter than her SHSL classmates, at only 5 feet tall! When her peers were asked about her, there was a common hesitation before receiving a general statement of “Jane’s nice,” or “She really likes food.” Her parents are chefs in a popular restaurant in California called “Spoonbeam Restaurante”.

Lilith Govender

Super High School Level Eschatologist

The enigmatic author of The End of the World As We Know It, a book that took the world by storm and moved the word Eschatology, the study of the apocalypse, into the public lexicon. Her success doesn’t seem to have gone to her head—rather, it was only with her Hope’s Peak acceptance that anyone connected the bestseller Lilith to the quiet and studious recent immigrant to Japan. Whatever her reason for staying out of the public eye, her book could probably tell you more about her than anything else.

Kimoto Takara

Super High School Level Glassmith

Though skilled in many aspects of glassblowing, Takara Kimoto is best known for her recent creations of fully playable glass instruments. Commonly seen giving tours at her parents’ art museum in Osaka, the glassmith also provides demonstrations for guests six days a week. Since Takara’s debut in glassblowing at thirteen years old, she has since become the museum’s star attraction, creating beautiful glass works of undeniable quality at astonishing speeds.

Athena

For the last two years, the name “Athena” has become one of the most well-known on the internet. Many recognize the handle mainly as the screenname of a competitive gamer in a number of online scenes, and a frequent poster on multiple gaming forums, but the name is also recognized as the alias of a dreaded hacker. Over the last two years, Athena has been a thorn in the side for both governments and corporate entities, the anonymous hacker stealing all sorts of valuable information and performing diabolical acts of sabotage. Sometimes associated with the online hacker group Incognito, Athena is widely known for a phantom-like ability to escape detection or identification. Could the mysterious hacker really be attending Hope’s Peak Academy?

Miyuki Mio

Miyuki Mio, the SHSL Hair Stylist is a young and upcoming stylist whose hair work has caught the eye of many teens and young adults alike. Many admire her varied stylings of her own hair, known for changing it nearly every day, but her favored twintail hairstyle is a popularly requested style from girls and women that visit her salon regularly.

Fujimoto Riko

Super High School Level Judge

Fujimoto Riko is a member of the relatively famous Fujimoto family, a rather large family known for it’s prominence in the legal system with members branching out into many professions such as lawyers and cops. Riko at 18 is the youngest person to become a Judge in recorded history, having covered for her Mentor, Michiko Harinama when the elder judge fell ill during a trial when Riko was 17 years old. Riko is known for her overwhelming determination to getting the truth, stern but kind courtroom manners and a flair for dramatically telling people off when they make the mistake of trying to influence her decisions.

Sasaki Shizuki

Super High School Level Matagi

Sasaki Shizuku, “Quiet Sparrow” is known among the matagi villages of Tohoku as the most remarkable hunter they’ve seen in their lifetime. Once the center of attention in the world of politics and ecological conservation, the quiet girl now attends Hope’s Peak Academy. There she is expected to become an advocate of the preservation of cultures, including that of the centuries-old matagi from which she came. Hazama Hisako

Super High School Level Mortuary Cosmetologist

Hisako Hazama was a last second admission into Hope’s Peak’s 2036 Roster, with word of her acceptance only appearing on internet forums a couple weeks prior to the new school year. A quick search for her name would lead to an extremely basic Angelfire webpage for the Hazama Funeral Home, which boasts generations of family operated traditional sōgi practices. In the far right corner there is a low resolution JPEG banner congratulating Hisako on her middle school graduation. At least whoever formatted the page meant well.

Fujimoto Tomoko

Super High School Level Police Officer

Born to Fujimoto Emiko, a renowned author from Osaka, then later moving to Tokyo, stone-solid Tomoko grew up living a rather luxurious lifestyle. The whereabouts of her father are accepted as unknown, though this never seemed to phase her as a child. When she was young, she was very intelligent and showed signs of being quite promising in future years. She refuses to talk about how she became interested in enforcing the law, though she does mention her mother numerous times, which is suspected to be the source of this interest. While in her final role of the police force as Captain, the crime rate across Tokyo and even Japan dramatically dropped from it’s originally low number to nearly zero. Just before her invitation came, she was put into Section 4 of the Security Police.

Seikyo Chiyo

SHSL Private Tutor

The name “Seikyo” may be much more attributed to the once famous poet, rather than his proper descendant. Chiyo’s strongest suit, academics, is clear to see in the way she carries herself. Unlike most of her type, however, she gladly offers to assist those barely hanging on to their lower marks. Her stylistic method of teaching, almost reminiscent of an old schoolteacher’s, has proven very student-friendly, and even the most hopeless of students have transformed into high scorers after her lessons. Only time will tell if she can make a name for herself in her own right.

A strange, somewhat stoic young man, whom no-one knows very much about. Soft spoken and reserved, it’s hard to notice he’s walked into a room until he speaks up, which is apparently how he prefers things to be. Matsuzaki Tomomi

Super High School Level Class President

Matsuzaki Tomomi has been elected president of her junior high school three years consecutively, and is best known for her cool and calm personality. She’s been recognized for her excellent work in improving her school conditions, and helping with school fundraisers- which has made the local news on several occasions. After hearing of her success in school, Hope’s Peak invited her in the hopes of gaining a new, and responsible class president for their incoming class.

• Sleepyhead: Tomomi is quite often, if not always in a state of lethargy.

Akane Akiteru

Super High School Level Investigator

There is nothing on anyone known as Akane Akiteru before seven years ago, when there’s a brief mention of an eleven-year-old helping to bring down two members of a ring of organised crime. There are brief mentions of cases they were involved with for the next two years, then several stories on a thirteen-year-old nobody from the middle of nowhere who’d cracked a high-profile serial killer case, seemingly on their own. There are increasing mentions and coverage of them for the next several years, mostly having to do with other cases they’d solved. Most cases seem to have to do with serial killers. In any pictures, they’re seen often with an older, angry-looking man, and occasionally with a scared-looking person with long brown hair who practically clings to them.
