Broomark Republic

Broomarks

    In general
  • Anti-Villain: The Broomarks' motives behind their later actions are that they are trying to search for a new planet, where they hope to colonize and repopulate without the Kaltoss bearing down on them.
  • Canon Immigrant: The Broomarks originated from the Dark Horse comic book series Gamera: The Guardian Of The Universe. Ironically, not much is known about their kind other than the fact that Freena and Lom Phlizium are the only known members of the species, and that the closest approximation of their language is an American Jive-like slang dialect according to Freena.
  • Cyclops: One of their most notable physical traits, having single massive eyes.
  • Expy They are this to the Legnals from DinoHunter2's GOTU series, as both alien races seek to search for a new planet to colonize and repopulate, and both races are masters of genetic engineering.
  • Heel–Face Turn: After Gamera helped Zigra destroy the Kaltoss swarm, the Broomark Republic eventually made peace with humanity after the Prime Minister of Japan and his board return to Earth.

Freena

    Freena

Dr. Lom Phlizium

    Dr. Lom Phlizium
  • The Ace: Dr. Phlizium is the most prominent and respected scientist in all of Broomark, and became so at a fairly young age.
  • Adaptation Origin Connection: Dr. Phlizium was involved in the creation of Zigra, Doublius, Guiron, and eventually Viras.
  • Canon Immigrant: Much like Freena and the Broomarks, although Lom was unseen in the comics.
  • Non-Action Guy: Girl, to be exact. Dr. Phlizium isn't much of a fighter as her kind is, but her incredible skill over genetic engineering is how she created Zigra, Doublius, Guiron, and Viras in the first place.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: Dr. Phlizium created Zigra as her first attempt at creating life. Eventually after he was created, Zigra would eventually go on to become the guardian of Broomark.

Bio-Mecha

    In general
  • Cyber Cyclops: Subverted, as it turns out that their cycloptic eyes are just visors that are part of their helmets.
  • Cyborg: Mostly.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: They are responsible for creating Wyvern, Legion, the Kaltoss, and finally, Kugekira.
     General Quicksilver/ Bionic Gyaos
  • Big Bad: Of the 2000 story arc.
  • Canon Character All Along: After injecting himself with his serum, General Quicksilver becomes this series' version of the Bionic Gyaos.
