Lao Du's Company

    Jiuyue 
A nine-tailed fox spirit whose goal of integration into human society leads her to work an office job.
    Ao Lie 
The third son of the Dragon King of the West Sea, and the White Dragon Horse from Journey to the West.
    Xiaoyu 
The Jade Rabbit of myth brought with Chang'e during her ascension, and the former leader of mooncake production on the moon.
    Xingtian 
A giant who challenged the Yellow Emperor for godhood and was subsequently decapitated, but stayed alive and grew a face out of his torso.<hr></hr>
  • Innocent Innuendo: Due to his lack of a head, Xingtian uses bras as eyemasks for falling asleep. Many characters assume he's being a pervert when they see him buy them or do his laundry.
    Jingwei 
A niece of the Emperor of Yan who drowned and metamorphosed into a bird spirit.
     Haiyan 
Jingwei's husband, a petrel spirit that typically stays in beast form.
    Xiaotian 
Yang Jian's canine companion.
    Mile / "Lao Du" 
The bodhisattva of the future, and the boss of the company.
    Guanyin / "Da Shi" 
The bodhisattva of mercy, Nezha's legal guardian and a collector of mythological creatures.

Jiuyue's family

    Da Ji 
A nine-tailed fox spirit that was said to have replaced the favored concubine of King Zhou of Shang, and Jiuyue's grandma.
    Shiyiyue 
Jiuyue's older brother who freeloads in her apartment.

Guanyin's house

    Nezha 
The Third Lotus Prince who took his life to appease Ao Guang, now an immortal child legally under the care of Guanyin.
    Bai Ze 
An omniscient mythical beast who freeloads in Guanyin's attic.
    Red Boy 
The son of Demon Bull King and Princess Iron Fan, now an acolyte of Guanyin.
    Longnü 
The granddaughter of Ao Guang, Dragon King of the East Sea, who was saved from a fisherman by Red Boy, now an acolyte of Guanyin.
    Nianshou 
A creature said to go on a rampage out of hunger at the start of every year.
    Sai Taisui 
A denglong and Guanyin's steed who was once a man, but became a woman after being subdued by the bodhisattva.

Four Auspicious Beasts

    Zhuque 
The Vermillion Bird, an elementary school physical education teacher.
    Qinglong 
The Azure Dragon, a gardener and the principal of an elementary school.
    Xuanwu 
The Black Tortoise, actually two brothers (a black snake and a black tortoise) who share the identity of Xuanwu.
    Baihu 
The White Tiger, and the boss of Xingguan.

Other

    Yang Jian 
The nephew of the Jade Emperor, also known as Erlang Shen, and the proprietor of a cat cafe. Loves fluffy animals.
    Maori Xingguan 
One of the 28 Mansions, a rooster god who's friends with Shiyiyue and a subordinate of Baihu.
    Yuexia Laoren / "Yue Lao" 
A god of marriage and love who runs a matchmaking business. Rivals with Cupid.
     Jin Chan 
The original auspicious toad and a business rival of Xiaoyu's. Has poisonous skin and the ability to spit out wealth.
