Main characters
Amulet
An amulet coin who self-proclaims to be made of magic. She's an optimistic character who seems oblivious to the terrible events happening to her right now as she seems more focused on Bucket and the mysteries surrounding it. Due to feeling like she's an outcast because of her hyper personality, she tends to isolate herself from those who she doesn't trust, which can make her stubborn and self-centered.
- Catchphrase: "Maaaaaagic," though it is used quite rarely and it is unknown if she really does have magic powers att all.
- Genki Girl: Always cheery and optimistic, even through the tragedies which she appears to be unfazed by.
- Spider-Sense: Is able to sense whenever someone vanished.
Badgey
A pin-back button/badge.
Basket
Click here to see him with the A.R.M.
A green woven basket with a metal rim, and the lone member of the Green Team.
- An Arm and a Leg: In the beginning of the third chapter, Snake cuts off the original A.R.M. as well as his legs, using a laser. He ended up with a pair of the newer model for the A.R.M., but also a pair of the leg variant.
- Artificial Limbs: Has a robotic arm (two as of chapter three), and later legs, given to him by Snake.
Bucket
An inanimate bucket.
- Affectionate Nickname: Called "Buckety" by the other characters.
- Companion Cube: It started to become this to the red team. However, it would later reveal to have some kind of sentience, as it would go on to protect Badgey from Basket's Energy Weapon in the third chapter.
Clove
A clove.
Jeans
A pair of denim jeans.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Swims in the water of the labyrinth and saves Z, only to get cut into pieces by the blades underwater and die.
- Living Clothes: A living pair of jeans.
- There Is No Kill Like Overkill: Not only did she drown in the labyrinth, she got torn apart by blades. Double ouch.
Acrylic Fingernail (Pinky)
A plastic fingernail.
- Action Girl: Especially towards Snake to the point where she will attack upon sight.
- The Ditz: According to the stats in her bio, Pinky has a measly one dot in intelligence.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: She's certainly the girl you don't wanna mess with.
- Meaningful Name: She has the Self-Applied Nickname of "Pinky" because she's pink. Figures.
- Non-Indicative Name: Ignoring the nickname, despite being named 'Acrylic Fingernail,' she's based on plastic nails seen in displays, and not the gel coverings you put on your actual fingernails.
- Pink Is Feminine: A pink, female plastic fingernail if you haven't figured it out by her nickname.
- Self-Applied Nickname: "Pinky," what she prefers you call her.
- Unstoppable Rage: Downplayed, as she only has one target. Combined with her ill temper and unwillingness to compete in his game, Pinky hates Snake so much she would even go out of her way to attack him on sight.
Silica
A packet of silica gel pellets.
- Early Installment Character-Design Difference: He had "SILICA" written on him in the earlier pages of chapter one...well, used to. To reflect the change of his design, the pages on DA were altered to remove the text even on the chapter's cover.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Thanks to the occasional Audience Participation, he sacrifices himself to save Styrofoam from Mirror's blast, costing the silica gel bag's life. However, he was eventually revived by his comrades.
- Unusual Euphemism: "HOLY BISCUIT TIN-" from page 33.
Snake Oil
An orange bottle of 'snake oil.'
- Big Bad: The main antagonist of the comic.
- Cute Little Fangs: Unlike other examples, they're not cute at all.
- Death Glare: In some pages, he would have this intimidating glare.
- Fangs Are Evil: His teeth are very sharp. As in fang-sharp.
- Smug Snake: He remains rather smug with his mockery.
- Snakes Are Sinister: He may not actually be a snake, but his name and the snake marking on his back allows him to play the trope.
- Snake Oil Salesman: He isn't one, but he's based on the term itself.
- Villainous Gold Tooth: He is the comic's main antagonist and has a gold fang that sticks out of his mouth when closed.
Squiggly
Styrofoam
A block of slightly-damaged styrofoam.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Seemed to have something to do with Mirror once. In fact, in the bios, his bio is comparingly cryptic.
Swabs
A cotton swab.
Wet Wipes
A pack of wet wipes.
- Out of Focus: Didn't appear for quite a while after the Red Team got split during the jungle segment of the comic.
Zwiggly (Z)
A red "Z" Tetrimino who is the twin brother of Squiggly.
- Cool Shades: Wears a pair of these.
- Shout-Out: Like his brother, he is a Tetris piece.
Minor characters
Mirror
A mirror who has previously died, so she appears as a ghost. She first appeared near the end of the Blue Team's role in Chapter 1.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Turns out she can hold a grudge, since she's angry with Styrofoam for a reason left unknown.
- Cyclops: Appears as this when unstable.
- Faux Flame: Her blasts are this.
- Friendly Ghost: At first glance, she seems to be a nice person.
