Terrorism LLC

     Espeon
The significant other of Umbreon. He is a coffee-drinking nervous wreck who mainly wanted to start a BnB chain but got roped into terrorism with Umbreon.
  • Battle Couple: With Umbreon.
  • Berserk Button: One of the few things that can consistently draw actual anger out of him is Simphony's repeated attempts to woo Umbreon, to the point of threatening to crush her to death if she keeps trying that.
  • Conditioned to Accept Horror: Downplayed. At the start of the game, Espeon waits in the car while Wes and Umbreon blow up a Snagem base, although Espeon tends to be largely opposed to Umbreon's terrorism overall.
  • Nervous Wreck: He's not totally on board with the whole terrorism thing, and it shows. He's almost always sweating profusely and telekinetically holding a constantly-shaking coffee cup.
  • Not So Above It All: Despite his rationale and constant neurosis trying to steer him and the rest of Terrorism LLC out of as much unnecessary trouble as possible, Espeon is just as capable a killer as Umbreon, and his beef with Simphony is mutually spiteful, if unbalanced by already being Umbreon's soul mate. Partially justified by his love of crime shows and being an accomplice/motive for Umbreon's crimes.
  • In Love with Your Carnage: When Umbreon blows up the Pentagon, Espeon remarks he is "charmed but terrified".
  • Took a Level in Badass: A Freeze-Frame Bonus in Dogs in Love 2 shows that, when Simphony crawled out of her own grave after being inadvertently brought back by Jolteon, Espeon was the one who pulled out a gun and attempted to deal with the situation while Umbreon took their son to safety.

     Umbreon
The significant other of Espeon. He is a hardened criminal who started Terrorism LLC and has a gun at his ready, but deeply loves Espeon.

     Simphony the Altaria
A Swablu/Altaria that’s a fangirl of Terrorism LLC and has a giant, unrequited crush on Umbreon.

     Weh! the Ampharos
A deadpan, quiet Flaaffy/Ampharos who dislikes her coworkers. She is a successful video game streamer but doesn’t like to talk about it to anyone else in Terrorism LLC.
  • Brutal Honesty: She has no problem calling Orre a cesspool or insulting Espeon.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: She talks about her job, a.k.a. being a terrorist, rather often on her streams.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Inverted: She doesn't like any of the other Pokemon and prefers to keep her distance from them.
  • Hidden Depths: She's actually a popular Twitch streamer in her off time. She doesn't tell anyone else because she doesn't want them watching her stream.
  • Lady Looks Like a Dude: Because she barely talks (and the few lines she has are mostly voiced by a male actor), when Umbreon comes to scold her for making Espeon cry, he calls her "mister", reflects that he doesn't remember what gender she is, gets embarrassed and tells her to forget the talk happened.
  • Punch-Clock Villain: She works for Terrorism LLC but doesn't like to socialize with her teammates.
  • The Quiet One: She only says "weh" as a Flaaffy. It turns out she just really hates her coworkers and doesn't want to say more.
  • Spell My Name With An S: Her nickname is spelled Weh!, with an exclamation mark.

     GrnPikachu the Jumpluff
A Skiploom/Jumpluff who Terrorism LLC has mistaken as a Shiny Pikachu. He never once said he was Pikachu, but due to everyone around him being a terrorist, he’s too terrified to come clean.
  • Mistaken Identity: Everyone, save for Espeon and Weh!, seems to believe that he's actually a Pikachu.
  • Non-Indicative Name: Not only is he not a Pikachu, but he stops being green after his evolution into Jumpluff. Everyone (except Espeon) takes his name at face value and believes he’s a Shiny Pikachu.
  • Snowball Lie: Out of fear for his life, he keeps up the lie that he is Pikachu as best he can.

    Trefor the Quagsire
A mellow and relaxed Quagsire. She speaks with a slow voice and frequently uses "quag" as either an adjective or a verb.

    ...... the Noctowl
  • Face of a Thug: She looks very intense, but she's fairly friendly and apparently boy-crazy.
  • Out of Focus: She's the smallest of the large personalities in Terrorism LLC, so she tends to get left out. She's later replaced by GrnPikachu.
  • The Unpronouncable: Her name is just a series of ellipses.

Exit's Team

     Jolteon
The son of Umbreon and Espeon, a pure-hearted Eldritch Abomination from Hell who is friendly, cheerful, and completely oblivious to his true nature.
  • A Dog Named "Dog": Invoked. He has a name, but it's incomprehensible and hearing it is enough to drive someone to madness, so everyone just calls him Jolteon for safety reasons.
  • Adorable Abomination: Jolteon is a beaming ray of sunshine... and an abyssal spawn of Hell.
  • Ambiguously Pokémon: He's clearly not a normal Jolteon, but there's very little explanation as to what he actually is.
  • All-Loving Hero: Never for a moment does Jolteon get angry with anyone, even his opponents.
  • Anti Anti Christ: He's a destined doom-bringer whose egg came from the depths of Hell, but was raised to be nothing but kind and compassionate to everyone.
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: Has four hearts and a pulsating, eyed mass for flesh.
  • Children Are Innocent: He was raised very innocently so as to keep him from hurting anybody with his unknowable power. He assumes Wound biting him is actually just high-fiving back with his teeth.
  • Does Not Know His Own Strength: Whenever he played patty-cake he would send his partners flying into a wall. Similarly, his hugs are described as lethal, but that's mostly because his scruff is sharp enough to impale.
  • Eldritch Abomination: His egg sprouted from the ground splitting open, beneath his fur is an inhuman, pulsing mass of flesh that heals wounds instantly, he has four hearts that limit his power, trying to comprehend his true name gives nosebleeds and turned Eagun manic, his emotions cause storms... take your pick.
  • Evil Laugh: Always laughs like this, even if he's just laughing at a joke.
  • Eyes Always Shut: In the drawings, his eyes only ever opened when doing his Evil Laugh.
  • Happily Adopted: His blood relative(s) seem to be an Eldritch Abomination from below the earth, but Espeon and Umbreon are the only parents he's ever known.
  • Healing Factor: Able to heal himself when injured, as seen when he was an Eevee.
  • Power Limiter: His dad calls his hearts his limiters, and that something bad will happen if they all stop. Considering how clearly he's an Eldritch Abomination, whatever they're limiting likely have bad consequences if unleashed.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Has deep red eyes, and is an Eldritch Abomination. His sprites often have his eyes closed, except for when he performs his Evil Laugh.
  • Weather Manipulation: Often causes storms when feeling intense emotions.

     Wound the Teddiursa
A feral, ruthless Teddiursa possessed by a gentle angel. Alternating between two voices, the Teddiursa and the angel, their name has a different pronunciation depending upon the voice.
  • Ax-Crazy: To the point that he sometimes froths at the mouth.
  • Bears Are Bad News: A violent and unhinged Teddiursa.
  • Cute and Psycho: He may be ruthless and battling for custody of his mind, but he's still a Teddiursa.
  • Demonic Possession: Inverted, Wound is normally a bloodthirsty savage, but an angelic presence possesses him and takes over sometimes.
  • Its Pronounced Tropay: The way his name is pronounced differs depending on which of the two voices is talking.note
  • Pet the Dog: Gives Poochy some reassuring words when she's suffering from Freakiness Shame.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Has red eyes when the Teddiursa side comes out (the angel has yellow eyes).

     Poochy the Mightyena
A quiet, musically gifted Half-Human Hybrid born to a human mother and a Mightyena father. She is self-conscious and shy, despite her talent.
  • Body Horror: Poochy has human hands instead of front paws and one human eye. Once she evolves, Poochy has countless fingers under her that she uses to move like a centipede in a way Crap Gorps describes as "haunting". She also apparently has teeth in places other than her head.
  • Cursed with Awesome: She has fingers that she can use to play instruments.
  • Freakiness Shame: Her family and various anatomical abnormalities are definitely sore spots for her.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Her father was a Mightyena and her mother was a human.
  • Hiding Behind Your Bangs: As a Poochyena, she has her hair over both her eyes. Once it's revealed that one of her eyes is human, this shifts to just her dog eye.
  • Tsundere: She plays herself as cool and aloof, but when Jolteon notices a faint smile from her she remarks that that "means a lot".

     Gacha the Spheal
A "good capitalist" Spheal/Sealeo/Walrein.
  • Dissonant Serenity: As a capitalist, Gacha feels genuine joy making Jolteon laugh. Those two things wouldn't be connected, if not for the fact that Jolteon has an evil laugh, and causing him to feel too much emotion creates lightning storms.
  • Out of Focus: Downplayed. She doesn't get quite as many gags or interactions as the rest of her teammates, though she joins fairly early and sticks around to the very end.
  • Sweet Seal: Generally friendly and cheerful, but is still a capitalist with a nastier side to her personality. This is generally expressed by being a two-face on a dime, where if something pisses her off, she puts on a sweeter tone and acts more dismissive of it.
  • Tranquil Fury: One-shots a Shadow Natu the team was trying to snag. From the tone of her voice as she explains herself, it's clear that she's forcing a smile.
Gacha: We have enough... spherical friends!

     Jorge the Houndour
A Houndour/Houndoom obsessed with trying to be a vampire to seem cool. He switches through various accents and voices to get the right vampire accent.
  • Body Horror: His "horns" as a Houndoom are actually teeth.
  • I Just Want to Be Special: He desperately wants to be seen as cool, and thus pretends to be a vampire (not that he knows what a vampire even is).
  • Its Pronounced Tropay: His name is pronounced "horj" rather than "hor-hey".
  • Our Vampires Are Different: He tries to pass himself off as one, but takes a long while to get the voice down. It's implied that he does become an actual vampire after getting bit by a Houndoom and evolving not long after, but he has teeth sprouting out of his head.
  • What the Hell Is That Accent?: Invoked - he tries to talk like a vampire, but he has trouble finding the voice, so he ends up going through a lot of voices over the course of the playthrough.

     Crap Gorps the Ledian
A Ledyba/Ledian who is a self-deprecating but friendly lawyer who becomes one of Jolteon’s closest friends.
  • All Girls Like Ponies: He used to love ponies when he was a little girl.
  • Armored But Frail: He's tough enough to withstand a pat from Jolteon, and he even complements his thick carapace, but underneath is apparently just goo, saying that if he gets thrown at a wall he ends up looking like a Cadbury egg.
  • Body Horror: Since he has Shadow Shed, he's apparently shedding his skin constantly, represented as his wing's shell turning to green scales as a Ledyba. This disappears when he evolves. He also says that underneath his carapace is goo.
  • Heroic Self-Deprecation: Thinks himself quite weak due to being a Ledian, but Jolteon disagrees.
  • Older Than They Look: Apparently had passed the bar exam in 1998, as he had a case with a Makuhita on the prosecution that year.
  • Straight Man: While he has his own share of eccentricities, he usually plays this role to the otherworldly-yet-innocent Jolteon and the clueless Jorge.
  • Unfortunate Name: He doesn't swear for Jolteon's sake, but it's hard to do so when your first name is a swear. He gets over it eventually, but even then, his first name is still "Crap", and people tend to call him that.
  • Who Names Their Kid "Dude"?: It's short for "Crapton Gorporation". It only really hits him how silly his name is after Jolteon casually addresses him as "Crap".
Crap Gorps: It's- God, "Crap Gorps"...

     Tannenbaum the Shroomish
A Shroomish/Breloom with a dream of singing for lounges.

Other Pokémon

    Wailmer
  • Necromancer: He's resurrected a small army worth of Craigs.
  • Religion of Evil: Worships the Mother Below in a strange cult that involves Jolteon in its theology.
  • Slasher Smile: Wailmer's battle icon can only be described as chilling.

    Craig the Nincada(?)
  • Body Horror: He's a Nincada with Poochyena ears on his head and a human ear on his back.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: As one of Poochy's brothers, Craig is half-human and half-Mightyena. It's unclear how this resulted in a Nincada.
  • Me's a Crowd: The second time he's encountered, Wailmer apparently has an entire army of Craigs behind him.
  • Mercy Kill: He can only beg for death and thanks the team when they finally kill him. It doesn't stick.
  • Resurrective Immortality: He says that "once again" he's been resurrected when he appears with Wailmer.

Humans

     Wes
  • Captain Oblivious: Since he can't understand Pokemon speech, he's completely unaware of the antics of his team members. He just sees them as his cute dogs. Even the ones that look nothing like dogs.
  • Insane Troll Logic: Wes sees only two things: People and dogs. If they can't talk, they're a dog. If they can talk, they're a person. This includes things such as mountains, because it called back when he asked if it was a dog.

     Rui
  • Speaks Fluent Animal: She can somehow understand what Wes's Pokemon are saying, but is completely unaware that no one else can.

     Exit
  • Meaningful Rename: His name appears to have been Michael at some point, much like the original game. After people kept passive aggressively telling him to exit the room, he decided to reclaim the word for himself as a Stage Name.
  • Out of Focus: He was originally the main character during the first hour or so, but quickly got replaced by Jolteon's Anti Anti Christ plotline.

     Justy
  • Adaptational Jerkass: The original Justy seemed decent enough for what little character he was given, but here he's been reinterpreted as a thoroughly unpleasant individual.
  • Adaptational Villainy: This version of Justy outright collaborates with Cipher for their takeover of Phenac City.
  • Bad Boss: He outright abuses the trainers at his pre-gym and yells at his Pokemon.
  • Casanova Wannabe: He straddles the line between this and Lousy Lovers Are Losers. While he's managed to get several women into the bedroom with him in the past, he always trips at the last hurdle by throwing sand at his partners.
  • Combat Pragmatist: His strategy relies on making his team incredibly difficult to hit while making his opponents suffer a slow and agonizing defeat, which contributed to his reinterpretation as a total scumbag.
  • Hate Sink: He's given no redeeming qualities here. Even his seemingly friendly in-game dialog is read out loud with barely-disguised contempt and disgust.
  • Insistent Terminology: He's not an incel; he's a "pre-DILF", or a "nascent chad".
  • Rich in Dollars, Poor in Sense: Implied. He can afford to regularly pay for expensive hotel rooms in his failed romantic pursuits (often enough to be recognized by the cleaning staff), but he also buys sand from a store despite living in the middle of the desert.
  • Sore Loser: He's still upset about losing to Wes five years later.
