These are the Marvel characters that are playable in the Disney Infinity series. Marvel was added to the series in 2.0.

Tony Stark, the genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist head of StarkTech Industries and the face of the Avengers, is the Iron Man, a superhero wearing Powered Armor that lets him do many things. He is one of the three characters in the Marvel Super Heroes starter pack.
- Flight: One of the first flight-capable characters in Disney Infinity.
- Macross Missile Massacre: His special ability lets him invoke this.
- Powered Armor: Tony has a ton of these, 45 in total.
Steve Rogers is a World War II hero and the first recipient of the Super Soldier Serum, giving him strength and agility equivalent to a human in peak physical condition. After being frozen for decades, Captain America reawakens in the 21st century ready to save the world from evil once more.
- In a Single Bound: Has the Super Jump as an upgrade.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: A Cap stable. He can not only protect himself with it, he also uses it heavily in combat, both as a melee and ranged weapon.
- Pinball Projectile: His iconic shield can ricochet off enemies when he charges his ranged attack, provided the Shield Strike skill is purchased. It can hit more targets if the skill's three level upgrades are purchased.
The Asgardian god of thunder and son of Odin, he wields Mjolnir, a mighty hammer that can only be carried by whomever it deems worthy. He is one of the three characters in the Marvel Super Heroes starter pack.
- Badass Family: He's the son of Odin, the Norse god, and his brother is the trickster god Loki, whom he can fight alongside.
- Cool Helmet: His winged Asgardian helmet, as iconic as ever.
- Flight: One of the first characters in Infinity to be flight-capable.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: A blonde-haired Avenger who's compassionate to his allies.
Natasha Romanoff is the Black Widow, a Russian super spy who works with S.H.I.E.L.D. to stave off any threats deemed too dangerous for the world. She is one of the three characters in the Marvel Super Heroes starter pack.
- Action Girl: A female Avenger.
- Badass Normal: Like Hawkeye, Widow has no superpowers.
- Guns Akimbo: One of her ranged upgrades lets her dual wield her pistols.
- In a Single Bound: Has the Super Jump as an upgrade.
- Invisibility: Her special ability lets her turn invisible and leave a holographic decoy of herself.
- Not Even Bothering with the Accent: Since she's based off of the movie portrayal of Widow, she has no Russian accent.
- Shock and Awe: Her Stingers can fire electric bolts that break through enemy blocks.
Dr. Bruce Banner is a world-renowned scientist known for his studies on gamma radiation. However, when he becomes angry, he turns into an incredibly huge, super-strong, green-skinned creature known as the Hulk.
- Close-Range Combatant: He has no ranged attacks, and his "projectile" consists of him charging straight ahead, knocking away any enemy unlucky to be in his way.
- Hulk Speak: Trope Namer.
- Unskilled, but Strong: He has no formal combat training whatsoever, being a scientist and all. As for the "Strong" part... well, one of his Red Barons is "The Strongest One There Is".
Clint Barton is a former thief and circus performer who now fights under the Avengers banner as Hawkeye, lending his bow, his trick arrows, and his uncanny archery prowess to the field.
- Badass Normal: No superpowers here, just incredible archery skill.
- Animal-Themed Superbeing: Themed after a type of bird.
The Norse trickster god, son of Odin, brother of Thor, and main antagonist of the first Avengers movie.
- Invisibility: His special ability allows him to turn invisible while leaving behind an illusionary decoy.
- Squishy Wizard: Struggles to take a hit even with upgraded health, but is perfectly capable of overwhelming his enemies with trickery.

New York student Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider, giving him superhuman senses akin to an arachnids. After building him some web shooters and dealing with some family tragedy, Parker became the Spider-Man and protects the innocents of New York City as a street-level superhero.
- Animal-Themed Superbeing: Has spider-like abilities.
- Building Swing: Can swing from a web.
- Combat Parkour: His combos include two webswing attacks.
- Dating Catwoman: Black Cat is a mission giver.
- Divergent Character Evolution: His symbiote figure goes from a Palette Swap to a unique character with his own skill tree.
- Hero with Bad Publicity: With J. Jonah Jameson blaming everything on Spider-Man and S.H.I.E.L.D.
- In a Single Bound: Has the Super Jump as an upgrade.
- Palette Swap: Received a black-suited variant figure for the Play Station Vita version of 2.0, which was later made available as a standalone for 3.0. He gains his own unique skill tree in that game.
- Rogues Gallery: His play set has him fighting his villains.
- Spider-Sense: Of course the Trope Namer has this ability.
- Super Hero: In the Marvel Super Hero line.
- Wall Crawl: One of his abilities.
- Wolverine Publicity: He's the non-Avenger Super Hero with the most spotlight.
- Building Swing: Just like Spider-Man.
- Combat Tentacles: He uses these for some of his attacks, most notably his special move, Symbiote Storm.

- Badass Arm-Fold: The pose he makes in his figure form, as you can see.

- Shock and Awe: His special move, Electric Glove, has him unleash a powerful electric blast from his gloves.

Peter Jason Quill was taken from Earth as a young boy in 1988 shortly after seeing his mother die, and would later become a cosmic outlaw known as "Star-Lord"—which is what he calls himself. He and the next four aliens below would save the galaxy from Ronan the Accuser, becoming the Guardians of the Galaxy.
- Guns Akimbo: As is traditional for Star-Lord, he wields two guns that can fire projectiles of varying elements.
- In a Single Bound: Has the Super Jump as an upgrade.
- The Turret Master: His special move summons a turret to shoot at enemies. Via the skill tree, it can have its damage, fire rate and health upgraded.
- In a Single Bound: Has the Super Jump as an upgrade.
- BFG: Even by human standards, he wields some truly massive weapons.
- Dual Wielding: By default, he wields two giant blasters that he can rapid-fire at will.
- Long-Range Fighter: Rocket Raccoon dual-wields powerful blasters that he can use to hit enemies from far away, but doesn't have much in terms melee options and is very frail.
- Walking Arsenal: For as small as he is, he has a ton of weaponry at his disposal.
- The Berserker: All Drax wants to do in a fight is get in people's faces and smash them up.
- Close-Range Combatant: Much like Hulk, he possesses no projectile, instead spinning at the enemy.
- The Comically Serious: One of the phrases he says after defeating enemies? "You're welcome." In a completely serious tone.
- Dual Wielding: Wields two long knives.

- Spectacular Spinning: His projectile attack has him spin at the enemy.
- Walking Shirtless Scene: Doesn't wear a shirt.
He is Groot. One of the founding members of the modern-day Guardians of the Galaxy, Groot is a Flora colossus who acts as the tank of the team, although he has one of the nastiest right hooks in the galaxy.
- Mighty Glacier: Not particularly fast, but his every step shakes the ground and he hits really hard.
- Plant Aliens: Of the species called Flora colossus.
- Pokémon Speak: Played with; he is saying something beyond "I am Groot," but a normal human mind can't make sense of it, so it's all they hear.
- When Trees Attack: Essentially a living tree.
- Attack Backfire: He can be upgraded to gain purple sparks with every successful repel, letting him bring the pain with his recharged special move.
- The Comically Serious: He somehow manages to appear completely serious even when whacking enemies with flamingos and riding tiny cars.

Tony Stark found out one day that his normal armors weren't cutting it when it came to containing a rampaging Hulk. So he made this, a colossal suit of armor as big as the Hulk meant to withstand his worst punishment.
- Flight: Despite being absolutely huge, he's still capable of flight.
- Macross Missile Massacre: His special move has him launch a barrage of missiles straight ahead of him, hitting anything unfortunate enough to be in the way.
- Mighty Glacier: He's not very fast, but what he lacks in speed he more than makes up for in sheer power, being able to tank anything thrown at him as well as dish it out with no problems.
- Super-Strength: His big armor is meant to withstand the Hulk's strength.
- Flight: One of his abilities.
- Super-Strength: Thanks to his metallic composition.
A 3.0 version of Steve Rogers with a look based on his appearances in Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War.
- Palette Swap: Subverted; this version of Cap has more capabilities than his original 2.0 counterpart.

The king of Wakanda, T'Challa is the Black Panther, a fearsome warrior imbued with the power of the panther spirit. While generally friendly and diplomatic, when push comes to shove, he will fight with all the fury of his namesake.
- Healing Factor: His health can be upgraded to regenerate on its own.
- In a Single Bound: Has the Super Jump as an upgrade.
- Large Ham: He can get pretty boisterous in battle.
- Spectacular Spinning: His Wakandan Combo ends with him performing a spinning handstand attack. The attack button can be mashed to keep spinning.
- Badass Armfold: His stance when blocking.
- Power Floats: His idle animation has him float slightly off the ground.
