Race: Mer (Triton)
Class: Fighter (Arcane Archer)

""

  • Amazing Technicolor Population: Her skin is light blue.
  • Anti-Hero: Is on the side of good in the final battle but is still an assassin who shows very little remorse at the fates of the people she has killed.
  • Chaotic Neutral: Despite being loyal to the group and her father, Troyánn is still out for herself more than anything else best seen in the ending where she only asks for her fathers soul to be freed, not the ones she personally sent down there
  • Fish People : Assassin and descendant of the Queen of Everdeep.
  • Four-Temperament Ensemble: The Melancholic.
  • Long-Range Fighter: Is the teams DPS archer.
  • Our Mermaids Are Different: She's half-elf, half-merfolk (mechanically, she's considered a Triton) and has legs. She can walk and swim extremely well, which makes her beneficial to saving Everdeep.
  • Professional Killer: She has a quota of souls she must collect each season. Collect as in murder.
  • What the Hell Is That Accent?: Inexplicably starts speaking with a British accent multiple times throughout the campaign.

    Princess

Princess Foehammer

Played by: Alaska Thunderfuck

Race: Orc
Class: Barbarian (Berserker)

""

  • Bond One-Liner: Is fond of using these, even if they might not be the most fitting for the situation.
Princess: [To Kerwyn] Merry Christmas, motherfucker!
    Kerwyn: ...It's mid-March!
  • Gentle Giant: Is huge but is very loyal and kind to her friends.
  • The Big Guy: Big girl! She's stated by Alaska to be huge and much larger than most orcs. This is a family trait of the Foehammers.
  • The Stoic: She watches her family home burn down and her family destroyed, yet she's able to push forward to her mission. She doesn't tend to speak as often as the others, but when she does, it's always from a place of resilience or focus.
    • Played for comedy in the finale where Kerwyn engages in a angry Motive Rant only for Princess to respond by simply shrugging

    Gertrude

Gertrude

Played by: Bob The Drag Queen

Race: Tiefling
Class: Sorcerer (Shadow Magic)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dungeons_and_dragqueens_gertrude1.png
""

  • Aerith and Bob: Deliberately invoked by Bob the Drag Queen, and her name is by far the most normal out of all the characters in the campaign.
  • Character Development: Gertrude starts out the story as a hermit who has never really opened up to anyone. By the end she has a solid group of friends and allies and at one point even allows the demon Nyruth to read her thoughts to gain their trust after the party had just robbed them.
  • Cloudcuckoolander's Minder: Often has to help avert the conflicts that Twyla almost causes.
  • Cool Old Lady
  • Dork Knight: She's a powerful sorcerer who also has anxiety, and as a result is also easily the most nervous of the party when actual combat breaks out.
Gertrude: I don't do well in battle! I don't even go around people! Just saying 'hi' is a big deal for me!
  • Four-Temperament Ensemble: The Choleric
  • The Smart Guy: Often serves as the strategist and is the least prone to impulsive actions.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Goes from the jumpiest and most panicky member of the party in their first fight to saving Twyla, Princess, and Troyann from Morgan's spell and taking zero damage throughout the entirety of the final fight.
  • Who Wants to Live Forever?: Is cursed with immortality and joins the party in order to break the curse and die a natural death.

    Twyla

Twyla

Played by: Jujubee

Race: Fairy
Class: Ranger (Gloomstalker)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dungeons_and_dragqueens_twyla1.png
""

  • Butt-Monkey: To the rest of the group. Mostly due to her consistently causing more problems.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Is prone to incredibly strange and impulsive behaviors, mostly due to Jujubee's general confusion in playing the game.
Gertrude: [To Twyla] Could you disguise yourself as someone who thinks before they speak?!
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Despite her eccentricities, Twyla is unexpectedly good in a fight. This is best shown when she takes out half of her personal Big Bad Zaria Hex's health in one turn before having Buddy Bear finish her off.
    • Later in that same battle she is the one to finish off Morgan making her responsible for the deaths of two out of four villains.
  • Four-Temperament Ensemble: The Sanguine.
  • Friend to All Living Things: Being a fairy.
  • Genki Girl: Very excitable and bubbly.
  • Kindhearted Cat Lover: Just like Jujubee. One of her spells lets her summon her Cat-Tree Buddy Bear for help in battle.
  • Last Of Her Kind: The Sole Survivor of Zaria Hex's attack on the Fae Realm, and journeys to the Underworld to bring her people back.
  • Nice Girl: Of the party, Twyla is by far the most innocent of them and tries to be as genuinely helpful as she can.
  • Running Gag: Attempts multiple times to disguise herself as random objects and turn invisible...forgetting that her magic doesn't work like that.
  • The Beastmaster: As a ranger, Twyla can summon a large cat tree spirit known as Buddy Bear.
