A list of Digimon at the Fresh Level.

The tropes listed here pertain to how these Digimon are portrayed in Bandai's profiles and across the broader Digimon canon, rather than as they are in a single work.

Fresh-Level Digimon are referred to as Youkeni, or "Baby I" in Japan. As the name implies, they're the first form of any Digimon's evolution cycle, and are the smallest and weakest Digimon around.

If a Digimon has several different translations in Japanese, the more correct spelling will be used while any corruptions are listed under "Blind Idiot" Translation. Other names that a Digimon may have in other languages are listed under Dub Name Change.

Tropes applying to multiple Fresh-level Digimon, or Fresh Digimon as a whole:

  • Acid Attack: These small, often slime-like Digimon are generally too young and weak to have the unique attacks their more evolved forms have, and are generally limited to spitting out streams of acidic bubbles to warn off foes.
  • Bubble Gun: Their only method of attacking for the most part. There are a few exceptions.
  • Cheerful Child: Almost every single one of them.
  • Constantly Curious: A standard trait.
  • Cute Little Fangs: A common design element.
  • Cute Slime Mook: The vast majority of Fresh Digimon are Slime-types, as well as very adorable. The mook part varies from game to game, though several of them have been common beginner enemies in certain games.
  • Non-Action Guy: By and large, they're incapable of fighting, though there are exceptions.
  • Retcon: A couple of the Digimon listed here originated from Digimon Fusion, which is known for not making use of evolution levels. In 2020, the Digimon Reference Book officially made these Digimon the Fresh level.
  • Ridiculously Cute Critter: All of them, even the evil ones.
  • Waddling Head: Exaggerated — some are just a head!

Argomon (Fresh) (Algomon (Baby))

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/algomon_baby.png
Debut: Digimon Adventure: (2020): "Tokyo Digital Crisis"
Fields: Nightmare Soldiers
Attacks: San no Awanote

A Baby Digimon that was born from a bug in an algorithm. It has a habit of finding and heading towards areas where large volumes of data flow. They gather one by one, and wrap around each other to form large groups.

  • Faceless Eye: Its eye takes up the majority of its body.
  • Planimal: All the Argomon line has a plant-animal hybrid feel to them. Its youngest form looks like a mobile seed.

Bombmon (Bommon (2010 Anime Version))

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bombmon_b.jpg
Debuted in: Digimon Xros Wars: "Xros Rival!! The Blue Hound Kiriha!!"
Attacks: Bomberhead, Fireworks Revolution

A short-tempered Digimon that easily blows up at trivial things. As it loses its temperature, its topknot steadily shortens, and when the topknot has completely retracted into its head, its anger explodes. It's also a subspecies of Bommon.

Several Bombmon are under the employ of the Blue Flare army.

  • Hair-Trigger Temper: With presumably deadly results.
  • Having a Blast: The explosions it generates don't hurt it.
  • Mundane Utility: It has a tendency to wind up getting used at parties. Which it hates.
  • Retcon: In 2020, the Digimon Reference Book made it a Fresh level Digimon. It previously did not have a level due to debuting in the Digimon Fusion continuity.

Bommon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bommon.png
Debut: Digimon Accel Evil Genome
Attacks: Bachi Bachi Bacchinnote

A Slime Digimon which has a bomb-shaped body. The fuse on its tail ignites the moment it hatches from its egg and steadily grows shorter, but because it evolves to the next generation before the fuse disappears, nobody knows what will happen if the fuse went out. It possesses a short-tempered personality, and it's said that when it gets in a bad mood, the progress of the fuse gets faster. Because its fuse's "Bachibachibacchin" sparks produce an intense noise, any opponent would be surprised if they were suddenly produced before their eyes.

  • Action Bomb: It's a living Cartoon Bomb. In a twist, however, it never explodes — it always evolves before its fuse finishes burning down.
  • Cartoon Bomb: A living version of the classic black sphere with a long wick at one end. It kinda looks like a cat.
  • Extra Eyes: It has three eyes.
  • Meaningful Name: Bom comes from Bomb 「ボム」 Bomu), a type of explosive device.

Botamon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/botamon_5.png
Debut: Digital Monster Ver. 1
Fields: Virus Busters, Nature Spirits
Attacks: (Original) Awanote , San no Awanote ; (Dub) Bubbles, Bubble Blow/Frothy Spit

A Digital Monster that was born just recently. On the surface of its slime-shaped body, it has grown thick, black fuzz. It is unable to battle as it has just been born, but it can produce bubble-like objects from its mouth to intimidate the enemy.

Botoman is often seen as the Fresh level for the Agumon, and is partnered to Taichi Yagami (Tai Kamiya) (in several continuities) and Yuuko Kamishiro.

  • Black Bead Eyes: Inverted — its whole body is black except for its beady orange eyes.

Chibickmon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chibickmon_b.jpg
Debuted in: Digimon Xros Wars: "Xrosroad!! The Boys' Paths Cross"
Attacks: Chinchikurin, Petit Sugar Plum

A sociable, hardworking Digimon. Since they like to help their manager, before you even know what kind of work you're doing, a large number of them will appear to help you out. However, because it doesn't really understand the basic details of the work, even though it's trying to help someone, it just ends up getting in the way. Frankly speaking, because it will begin to sob if it is ignored or treated unkindly, it's a bit depressing. That's why, even if you think it really is trying to be a bother, it's important to praise it, even with a lie. To work hard and quickly join the Starmons is Chibickmon's dream.

Several Chibickmon are a part of the main Xros Heart (Fusion Fighters) army.

Chibomon (Chicomon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chicomon.png
Debut: Digimon Adventure 3D: Digimon Grandprix!
Attacks: (Original) San no Awanote ; (Dub) Frothy Spit

A small, blue Dragon Digimon child. Although it's small and powerless, it has the potential to evolve into every Dragon Digimon. For that reason, it is a Digimon considered exceedingly valuable by tamers and researchers of Dragon Digimon. It is cherished due to its personality of friendliness and overflowing curiosity, characteristic of Fresh Digimon. Just like other Fresh Digimon, it spits acidic bubbles to attack, but as usual their power is non-existent.

It's considered the Fresh level to the Veemon line, and is partnered to Daisuke (Davis) Motomiya.

  • Bubble Gun: Its only method of attack.
  • Magikarp Power: A small and helpless creature that can potentially evolve into a wide variety of powerful dragons.

Conomon (Cocomon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cocomon.png
Debuted: D-3 Version 1 (V-mon Version) — Limited Edition
Attacks: San no Awanote

Extremely rare Digimon, which are born as twins from a single Digi-Egg. Why only Zerimon and Conomon are born as twins is not clearly known at this present stage. What is more, they are not restricted to always being born as twins, and either Zerimon or Conomon may be born from a single Digi-Egg. Compared to the extremely energetic, one-horned Zerimon, the three-horned Conomon has a relatively docile personality. Like other Fresh Digimon, it spits acidic bubbles to intimidate opponents.

It's designed to be the Fresh level to the Lopmon line, and is partnered to Shaochung Lee (Suzie Wong) and (possibly) Wallace (Willis).

  • Blue Oni, Red Oni: The docile blue to Zerimon's energetic red, a trait that remains constant through their evolutions.
  • Palette Swap: It and Zerimon sometimes hatch as twins and aside from the number of horns, they have identical body shapes.

Cotsucomon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cotsucomon.jpg
Without hat
Debuted: Digimon Pendulum Ver.20th
Attacks: Kottsunnote

A Digimon that was born already wearing a leather hat. It looks stronger than the average Baby level due to its equipment, but because it is made of a soft material, it barely offers any defensive protection. It is extremely vigilant, and will retreat into its hat at the slightest provocation.

Cotsucomon is the Fresh level of the Bryweludramon line, but is not officially a member of the Legend-Arms.

  • Weaponized Headgear: Downplayed. It tries to poke enemies with the brim of its hat, but it's so weak that it doesn't really do anything.

Curimon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/curimon.jpg
Debut: Vital Bracelet Digivice-V-
Attacks: Bubbles

A baby Digimon that has a distinctive horn and decorative frill. It is so active that before it is even born its DigiEgg bounces, and after hatching it moves around vigorously. The points on its horn and frill are still immature and soft, and although they cannot be used in battle yet, they provide balance and can protect it while moving around. It creates bubbles to threaten approaching enemies.

Curimon is the Fresh form of Gammamon.

  • Keet: So much so even its egg bounces about.

Datirimon (Pipimon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pipimon.jpg
Debut: Digimon Adventure 02: "Our Digital World"
Attacks: (Original) San no Awanote ; (Dub) Bubble Blow

A Baby Digimon that was born from the fruit of a tree. It is said to appear as a Partner before people who have lost and then regained their hope.

Notable as the Digimon who was supposed to be partnered to Yukio Oikawa.

  • Bubble Gun: Its only attack is to spit acidic bubbles.

Dodomon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dodomon.jpg
Debut: Pendulum X 1.0
Attacks: Chīsana Tetsu Tsubunote

A Slime Digimon whose whole body is covered in the tough fur "Mithril Hair". It manifests an aggressive personality immediately after being born, and despite its fangs not yet being grown, it opens its mouth wide and completely intimidates the opponent with the manner in which it snaps at them. Because of this, there exist many Digimon which are completely deceived, but it is still a rare Digimon.

Dodomon is designed as the Fresh level to Dorumon, and is a natural carrier of the X-Antibody.

  • Cute Little Fangs: Has these with an emphasis on little as they aren't yet grown.
  • Made of Iron: Mithril fur is known for being made out of the titular material.
  • Mithril: Its fur is apparently made out of the stuff, providing serviceable armor.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: One of the few Fresh Digimon actually capable of doing something other than spitting bubbles at the enemy.

Dokimon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dokimon.jpg
Debuted: Vital Bracelet Digital Monster
Attacks: Seidenkinote

A Slime Digimon that was born from human vital data. You can't tell from just its appearance, but when picked up, its whole body vibrates at a constant rhythm. The rhythm of these vibrations seems to reflect that of the heartbeat of the person who is holding it. When it is in danger, it threatens the enemy with static electricity emitted from the tip of its horn.

Dokimon is the Fresh level to the Pulsemon line.

  • Shock and Awe: Downplayed. It can emit static electricity from its horn.

Fufumon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fufumon.jpg
Debut: Pendulum X 2.0
Attacks: Chiisana Tetsu no Togenote

A Slime Digimon with an extremely light body that has floated through the air since it was born. When its life is threatened by an assault from a larger opponent, it will thrust at them with the horn on its head to intimidate them with all its might, but because the horn is very soft, the thrust will not injure the opponent.

Fufumon is the Fresh level of the Ryudamon, and is a natural carrier of the X-Antibody.

Fusamon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/600px_fusamon.jpg
Debut: Vital Bracelet BE

A Slime Digimon whose whole body is covered in soft fur. Although it is a Digimon brimming with curiosity that loves to move around, it spends most of its time sleeping due to it tiring easily.

Fusamon is the Fresh level for Loogamon and a natural carrier of the X-Antibody.

Jyarimon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jyarimon.png
Debut: D-Ark Version 1.0
Attacks: Nekki wo Obita Awanote

An extremely scarce Digimon, whose population is small. The Babies of Dragon-species Digimon are small in absolute number, and it is said that most of them are captured or die before they grow up. You wouldn't know it to look at it, but there are tiny, closely packed fangs growing within its mouth, and it is foreseen that it will grow into a powerful Dragon-species Digimon. Although it is powerless, it has the disposition to face those with bodies larger than its own, and that becomes the reason for its low survival rate. It attacks with bubbles heated by the constant high temperatures within its body.

It's designed to be the Fresh level to the Guilmon line, and is partnered to Takato Matsuda (Matsuki) and Kouta Hirose.

  • Cute Little Fangs: Has these, even though you can't tell just by looking at it.
  • Fireballs: It uses them in much the same way other fresh Digimon use bubbles.
  • Magikarp Power: The few Jyarimon intelligent enough to live will become Guilmon, and from there some of the most powerful Digimon alive.
  • Suicidal Overconfidence: The reason most Jyarimon don't live long enough to evolve. They'll pick fights they've got no hope of winning, what with having no combat abilities whatsoever, and get stomped flat.

Ketomon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ketomon.jpg
Fields: Metal Empire
Attacks: (Original) San no Awanote ; (Dub) Bubble Blow

A Slime Digimon with large eyes. Its eyes have the ability to detect the nature of Digimon, detect danger in advance, and convey danger to its friends.

It's the default Fresh level to the Monodromon line, and is partnered to Ryo Akiyama.

  • Bubble Gun: Like most other baby Digimon. Only with Ketomon, since it doesn't seem to have a mouth, they come out of its eyes.
  • Evil-Detecting Dog: It can tell whether danger is coming, pretty useful for a Digimon that can't fight yet.
  • Morphic Resonance: As the Fresh form of Monodramon, it looks like a waddling head version of it.
  • Puppy-Dog Eyes: Its eyes are designed to look like they're always like this.

Keemon (Kiimon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kiimon.jpg
Debut: Digimon Tamers Koushiki Daizukan Vol. VI
Attacks: (Original) San no Awanote ; (Dub) Bubble Blow

A bad-looking Slime Digimon that is always scowling. Even though it is very young, it hates being in crowds, and lives while hiding itself.

It's designed as the Fresh level to the Impmon line, and is partnered to Ai and Makoto (Mako).

  • The Aloner: It prefers being alone, a trait that will, by and large, stay with it all the way through to its final form of Beelzebubmon.
  • Jerkass: It likes to harass anyone who gets near it by spitting bubbles at them.
  • Out of Focus: Hardly appears anywhere ever. The first time it got anything close to major screen time was in 2019, when it appeared in the Digital Monster X Ver. 2 virtual pet.
  • Perpetual Frowner: Its artwork shows it with a constant scowl on its face.

Kuramon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kuramon.png
Attacks: (Original) Glare Eye, Blood Eye, Awanote ; (Dub) Glare Eye, Blood Eye, Bubbles

An Unidentified Digimon that suddenly appeared on the Computer Network. The aggression generated by the malice of people who abuse the Computer Network, and the conflicts which unfold on the Network, manifested and a single Digi-Egg was created. Humanity's destruction instinct is condensed within that Digi-Egg, and as such the mysterious Digimon that was born from it is a very dangerous being. It multiplies like a virus within the Computer Network, causing a slight degree of network failure.

It's the default Fresh level to the Keramon line, and is partnered to Arata Sanada.

  • Cute Is Evil: It certainly looks adorable...that is, until it starts causing trouble on the internet.
  • Explosive Breeder: It multiplies like a virus.
  • Faceless Eye: It's a head with an eye, and nothing else. Tai in Digimon: The Movie described it as a cross between a jellyfish and a contact lens.
  • Made of Evil: It's made out of internet hate, condensed into tiny Digimon form.

Leafmon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/leafmon.png
Attacks: Sansei no Awanote

A Slime Digimon which has a tiny leaf on its tail. It has many of the elements of a plant and the composition of its body includes chlorophyll, so it photosynthesizes to grow. Its leaf-shaped tail protects it from intense sunshine or rain. Due to its pure nature, it doesn't distrust others even when they are frightening. However, it is just a little bit shy. As it was just born it is unable to battle, but its innocent spirit, overflowing with vitality, can make the surrounding people remember pure feelings that were forgotten, wrapping them in a calm air. However, if one tries to mess with it too much, it will spit acidic bubbles to intimidate them.

It's considered the Fresh level to the Wormmon line, and is partnered to Ken Ichijouji.

MetalKoromon (Choromon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/metalkoromon_7.png
Debut: Pendulum 5.0 Metal Empire
Fields: Metal Empire, Nightmare Soldiers
Attacks: Jamming Powder

A super-tiny machine Digimon which has red eyes that function as tiny photosensors. The appearance of it moving around restlessly seem very cute, but because it is carrying nothing but a simple program that moves in reaction to bright lights, if its surroundings go dark it becomes completely unable to move. The reason why is not understood, but when it is in a good mood, it discharges electricity from the tip of its tail.

  • Mechanical Lifeforms: Choromon are essentially very, very simple robots reimagined as living beings that can evolve into a variety of more complex mechanical beings — the earliest, most simple form of mechanical life, essentially.
  • Stealth Pun: It's a literal, living computer mouse.
  • Weaksauce Weakness: Darkness makes it stop moving

Mokumon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mokumon.jpg
Debut: Pendulum 3.0 Nightmare Soldiers
Fields: Nightmare Soldiers
Attacks: Kemuri, Smoke

A Digimon Baby which envelops its whole body with a smoke-like vapor. It is a unique Digimon whose computer kernel (Digicore), said to be at the center of a Digimon's body, is bare, so it seems it protects its Digicore with Smoke. Because its Digicore is bare, Mokumon is a Digimon of an unusual way of life which covers its body in Smoke from when it was burned. It scatters the Smoke issuing from its body all around, then seizes the opportunity to flee.

    N-Z

Nyokimon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nyokimon.png
Debut: Pendulum 4.0 Wind Guardians
Fields: Wind Guardians
Attacks: Seed Cracker

A Seed Digimon whose body surface is covered in transparent tissue. Its real body can be confirmed to be within the transparent skin, and seems to be a variant of Botamon. It is thought that it is perhaps a species of Botamon whose appearance transformed into this herbaceous body. For that reason, it is not only a Plant-species Digimon, but it also has the potential to evolve to Dragon-species Digimon and the like. Its personality is extremely gentle, so it has a timid face.

Nyokimon is considered the Fresh level to the Piyomon line, and is partnered to Sora Takenouchi.

  • Bullet Seed: Its only method of attack, though they're more like seed firecrackers.
  • Planimal: It's a plant Digimon, but there's some dragon in there somewhere, which shows in some of its evolutions.

Pabumon (Bubbmon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pabumon.png
Debut: Pendulum 1.0 Nature Spirits
Fields: Nature Spirits
Attacks: (Original) Awanote , Nenchakusei no Awanote , Nenchakusei no Awanote ; (Dub) Bubbles, Adhesive Bubble Blow, Bubble Blow

Although it looks like it is just pale green bubbles at first glance, it is a Bubble Digimon that can move freely and express a plethora of facial expressions. Because its surface has not hardened yet, its defensive power is nonexistent and it is equally unsuited for combat. From the portion that looks like a pacifier held in its mouth, it generates tiny bubbles, and proliferates them infinitely. As for that proliferation, at one point, it started being used for computer virus development, but because its life force was too weak, that was fortunately never implemented. Although its life is fleeting, it is a lovable Digimon Baby that lives earnestly. Its specialty is escaping while the intruder's movement is restricted by the adhesive bubbles it generates from within its body.

Bubbmon is considered the Fresh level for the Tentomon line, and is partnered to Koushiro (Izzy) Izumi.

  • Blob Monster: Pabumon's essentially a living puddle of green, bubbly goo.

Pafumon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pafumon.png
Debut: Digimon Accel Ultimate Genome
Attacks: Puff Balloon

A Spirit Digimon that possesses a translucent body. Since its body is light as down, it is constantly drifting through the air. It has the habit of moving upon the winds, and it is said that if the wind's condition is suitable it will migrate a considerable distance. Although it dislikes fights and has a gentle personality, when it gets in a pinch it surprises the opponent by opening its mouth wide, sucking in air, and swelling its body up to three times its usual size, then seizes the opportunity to expel the air and escape.

Paomon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/paomon.jpg
Debut: D-Ark Version 2.0
Attacks: (Original) San no Awanote ; (Dub) Bubble Blow

Paomon, unlike other Digimon that developed naturally, is an artificial Digimon that was created through human effort to be used for appreciation and rearing. Although there is no shortage of Digimon of the Rookie stage whose configuration program was remodelled through human effort, Digimon artificially created from the Fresh stage are rare. According to one theory it was developed jointly by research groups in Shanghai, Taiwan and Okinawa, but its birthplace is not certain. It will sometimes spit resilient acid bubbles to intimidate the opponent.

It's designed as the Fresh level to the Labramon line, and is partnered to Minami Uehara.

Petitmon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/petitmon.png
Attacks: Atsui Toikinote

A Slime Digimon that possesses large horns and tiny wings. As its body is extremely light, it lives constantly floating through the air, and maintains its posture in the air by blowing air from its wings and mouth. Although it usually has a cheerful personality, if the three scales on its belly are touched, it goes into an extremely bad mood. When bodily harm draws near, it spits its "Atsui Toiki" to surprise the opponent, while simultaneously using it as propulsive force to quickly flee, so it's not easy to catch.

It's designed as the Fresh level to the Dracomon line.

  • Our Dragons Are Different: A tiny, spherical dragon.
  • Playing with Fire: It can shoot a fireball at its enemies, as opposed to the acid bubbles most other Fresh Digimon use. It also propels Petitmon away from danger at the same time.

Pichimon (Pitchmon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pichimon.png
Debut: Pendulum 2.0 Deep Savers
Fields: Deep Savers
Attacks: (Original) Shabon no Awanote ; (Dub) Bubble Blow

A microbe-like Digimon which was discovered in the "Net Ocean", which had long been studied as the birthplace of life within the Digital World, it has the smallest size among the many Digimon. Since it seems to be living with nothing but emotions, its behavior changes very frequently. Since it is extremely full of curiosity, it greatly wishes to communicate with the outside world, but as yet, no means to do so has been found. However, it is a Digimon Baby that is loved by everyone, due to its big, bright red eyes which are charming enough to shake the opponent's feelings. It spits out soap-like bubbles from its mouth and blinds the opponent's eyes, then flees.

It is considered the Fresh level to the Gomamon and MarineAngemon lines, and is partnered to Jou (Joe) Kido and Ami Kitajima.

  • Jagged Mouth: Has this although unlike most examples it just how its mouth happens to be shaped.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Averted. Pichimon's red eyes are considered endearing instead of threatening.

Popomon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/popomon.png
Debut: Digimon Accel Justice Genome
Attacks: Hair Mist

A Slime Digimon that looks like a species of plant. It skillfully uses its tail, which looks like a leaf, and it moves by jumping little by little. Because it has a very timid personality, it will immediately flee if any strangers approach, but it is said that once it gives its trust to someone, it will be attached to them for life. While escaping the opponent it uses its "Hair Mist", scattering the hairs of its coat to create a distraction.

  • No Mouth: It's just a fuzzball with eyes.
  • Smoke Out: Uses its hair for a variation of this.

Poyomon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/poyomon.png
Debut: Digital Monster Ver. 3
Fields: Virus Busters
Attacks: (Original) Awanote , San no Awanote , Kyouryokuna San no Awanote ; (Dub) Bubbles, Frothy Spit, Super Bubble Blow

With a translucent body, it is a Digimon Baby that drifts through the "Net Ocean" like a jellyfish. As it has the most primitive structure among the Digimon discovered to date, it has been showered in attention as the "Missing Link", the key to solving the mystery of the origin of Digimon, by the scholars and enthusiasts studying the roots of Digimon. In order to defend itself from intruders it spews potently acidic bubbles out of its mouth.

It is considered the Fresh level to the Patamon line, and is partnered to Takeru (T.K.) Takaishi.

Punimon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/punimon.png
Debut: Digital Monster Ver. 2
Attacks: (Original) Awanote , San no Awanote ; (Dub) Bubbles, Bubble Blow

A new kind of newborn Digimon. Its gelatinous red body is squishy, and there are three feeler-like things growing on its head. It is unable to battle, but it can produce resilient, acidic bubbles to intimidate its opponents.

It's often used as the default Fresh level for Gabumon, and is partnered to Yamato (Matt) Ishida.

Pupumon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pupumon.png
Debut: Digimon Pendulum X 3.0
Attacks: Doku no Awanote

A Slime Digimon which has grown a body as light as a bubble, as well as very thin wings. Its somewhat largish eyes are very sensitive to an object's movement, and if something moves it notices it and immediately springs away, but this does not mean it's a coward, as if it continues to be unkind Pupumon counterattacks. If the opponent approaches, it spits "Doku no Awa" from its mouth to attack.

It is the Fresh stage to the Funbeemon line, and is a natural carrier of the X-Antibody.

Pururumon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pururumon.png
Fields: Wind Guardians
Attacks: (Original) San no Awanote ; (Dub) Bubble Blow

A Slime Digimon with a chubby body similar to silicon, it jiggles flabbily when it crawls forward. Both of its small fins are unexpectedly handy, but to be absolutely precise it is not yet able to fly. As it loves the smell of the sun, on days with good weather it lies sprawled on the lawn and smells the scent of grass with a sniff, immersing it in a good mood. If it gets in a pinch, it foams out acidic bubbles and covers the opponent in them, then seizes the opportunity to flee.

It's considered the Fresh level for the Hawkmon line, and is partnered to Miyako (Yolei) Inoue.

Pusumon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pusumon.jpg
Debut: Digimon ReArise
Attacks: Oshaburinote

A Slime Digimon whose entire body is covered in soft, cotton-like fur; only the yellow hairs sticking out of its forehead are fairly hard. It grows restless without its pacifier, and will cry loudly and incessantly if its pacifier is lost. It is able to expand its body by taking in a deep breath and shoot that inhaled air out together with its pacifier in order to intimidate the opponent.

Pusumon is the Fresh level for the Herissmon line.

  • Blow You Away: Its Oshaburi attack has it shoot air from its pacifier to intimidate its foes. Being a Fresh level, it doesn't do very much damage.

Puttomon (Puttimon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/puttimon.png
Debut: Pendulum Progress 2.0 Armageddon Army
Attacks: (Original) San no Awanote , Angel Dust; (Dub) Frothy Spit, Angel Dust

It is a sacred Digimon Baby who is the template for all Angel-type Digimon. On the other hand, it has poor self-judgment between good and evil, and can be quite adorably mischievous. If anything, it's popular for bringing about euphoria, good fortune, and such. Though as a newborn it's rare for it to do so, it can fly skillfully about the sky with the two wings growing from its back. When it flies about in the sky, it is able to place its opponent in a happy mood with a mysterious powder called "Angel Dust".

  • Flight: It's just about capable of this, due to its tiny wings.
  • Our Angels Are Different: It's an angel Digimon in baby slime form — an angel larva, essentially — and a general starting point for most lines of angelic Digimon.
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: A great many Fallen Angel Digimon, like Lucemon, Lilithmon, Beelzebumon, Daemon or Bagramon, used to be sweet little Puttimon at some point in their lives.

Puwamon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/puwamon.png
Debut: Digimon Accel Nature Genome
Attacks: Fuwā Feathernote

A Chick Digimon covered in soft feathers. Its eyesight is extremely great, and because it is able to survey a vast range, it can react instantly to surrounding movements. Its personality is intensely curious, and it began gaining popularity because it lacks shyness and easily makes attachments. However, it extremely dislikes when its tail is touched, and so if its tail is touched carelessly, caution will be necessary, since it will shower you down in blinding feathers.

Puwamon is partnered to Chika Daimon (Kristy Damon).

  • Berserk Button: Touching its tail tends to send it in a furious frenzy.

Puyomon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/puyomon.jpg
