Sagami Kou
- Arrogant Kickbox Guy: He is very sure of himself, feels to be above the people around him and hates being interruped. Its hard to deny he does have the skills needed to back his big talk up, though.
- Badass Normal: A human fighter, who can fight the infected barehanded on his own.
- Nightmare Face: Downplayed. His face can make people back off very quickly if he gets mad.
- Troll: He enjoys angering Nagasawa by reminding him of Kyouko or pointing out everything that's happening to him.
Doc
Doc
- Chekhov's Gun: He is always wearing gloves. He is a resistant Nightshift infectee like Nagasawa.
- Dull Surprise: He has no visible reaction to walking in on Nagasawa covered head to toe in blood. This is before it turns out he knows about everything, so unlike the later occurences it does look odd.Doc: What an awful scene.
- Four Eyes, Zero Soul: Amoral, bespectacled bastard of a white coat. Nagasawa is slightly out of it due to shock and medication upon their first meeting, yet he still notes that Doc creeps him out.
- Lack of Empathy: He simply assures Nagasawa that he did a good, useful thing when he murdered a Nightshift infectee and degrades him to a two legged weapon.
- Manipulative Bastard: 80% of all his interaction with Nagasawa centers around him pushing the kid around.
- Nightmare Fetishist: He is happy to examine any Body Horror happening to Nagasawa, much to the later's chagrin.
- Pragmatic Evil: He generally approaches Nagasawa as useful tool that just happens to be alive and thinking. His reaction to finding out about the first kill is You rid the society of a serial killer, isn't that great?. Everything is means to an end to this guy.
- Smug Snake: Doc never lets anyone forget that he is in the control of the situation.
