The Seven Champions

    General

Burning Brave, the Courageous Knight of Embers

Character: Heroic

Alignment: Neutral Good

Type: Pegasus, Armored Hero, Torchbearer, Harmony Bearer

Faction: Grittish Isles, the Seven Champions

Burning Brave (profile here is the first of the Seven Champions and one of Patch's successor as the Courageous Knight.
  • Apocalypse Anarchy: Burning Brave was born and lived mere decades after the end of the Void Aeon which ended the Second Age. By then, like in many other places across the galaxy, civilization had become so devastated on Equus that technology had backslided, all the old nations had crumbled across ruined continents and society had been reduced to ragtag settlements and petty fiefdoms dwelling in the shadow of a grander age. She resolves to help change that and aid the world in its recovery.
  • The Chosen One: Burning Brave's heroic deeds across Marerope had resulted in her proving to be worthy of wielding the Mace of Courage and becoming the next 'Courageous Knight'.
  • Discard and Draw: Burning Brave eventually lost her Powered Armor, but was compensated by proving herself worried to wield the Mace of Courage and wear the Armour of Courage that comes with it, becoming the next 'Courageous Knight'.
  • Fling a Light into the Future: Burning Brave is classified as a 'Torchbearer', someone whose actions and efforts in a darker present ensured a better future, which befits her as her heroism curbed many evils and inspired many to do better, ultimately contributing to the Third Age becoming more just, compassionate and innocent.
  • The Paragon: Despite the hardships of the 'Era of Embers' between the Second and Third Age, Burning Brave refused to compromise on her principles and remained heroic and noble, helping to inspire many survivors living in the era to become better and making the world a better place.
  • Powered Armor: The first half of her superheroic career is made possible by a mantle of 'Second Age' military-grade Powered Armor she found in a sealed bunker, which she redecorated and used to even the odds against the warlord White Phosphorous and his army of salvaged firearms-equipped goons. While in the deprived circumstances of the very early Third Age this made her superequine, she would eventually lose it as the same circumstances meant she lacked the means to recharge and repair it, resulting in it inevitably running down from sheer attrition.
  • Thou Shalt Not Kill: Despite having the firepower for more lethal outcomes, Burning Brave does everything possible as a hero to avoid casualties and even save villains' lives.
