This is a short summary page for characters from the Clémentine animated series.

The Clémentine books don't have a character sheet yet, though logically this is subjected to change.

Clémentine Durant

  • Action Survivor: In her adventures, Clémentine must learn to survive even if Hémera cannot help her.
  • The Chosen One: She's supposed to be the person who will be Malmoth's perdition.
  • Delicate and Sickly: She's rendered paraplegic at the very beginning and her dad does what he can to get her treatment. She can walk and move freely in her adventures with Hémera, but other than that she's either in bed or in a wheelchair.
  • Limited Wardrobe: Toyed with: she mostly wears a Sailor Fuku when in the real world, but in every adventure Hémera gives her a different outfit to wear so she can blend it a little better.

Alex Durant

  • Action Dad: He's a very well-respected Ace Pilot from World War One. Not only that but he won several prizes for his aviation skills, and in-story often puts them to use for a good cause, such as delivering medicines to sick children in Africa, or searching for Antoine de Saint-in-Exupery.
  • Good Parents: A very sweet and dedicated father to both Clémentine and Petit-Boy.
  • My Greatest Failure: Clémentine was left paralyzed in an incident involving his plane, and that haunts him.

Petit-Boy Durant

Hémera

  • Berserk Button: Sweet and kind as she is, Hémera is very stern and has very low patience to self-pity, ungratefulness and whining. i.e., once Clémentine snapped at her Cool Big Sis Éole when in a self-pitying mood and Hémera immediately told her that she had been unfair and she had to apologize to poor Éole.
  • Big Good: She chose Clémentine to be her "champion" and does her best to encourage and protect her.
  • Mama Bear: She has put herself at risk many times to protect her chosen champion Clémentine.
  • Meaningful Name: "Hémera" means "dawn" (or "day") in Greek.
  • Rose-Haired Sweetie: The lovely Guardian Angel of a little girl has pink hair to match her kind behavior.

Malmoth

  • Big Bad: A cruel demon who wants to eliminate Hémera and Clémentine, the two between him and his goals.

Hélice

  • Meaningful Name: He originally got his name because the tuft of hair on his head looks like a propeller (hélice, in French). Later, during Clémentine's adventures, Hemera gave him an aviator's cap with a real propeller on top that enabled him to fly for real.

Éole

Básile

  • Mr. Fixit: He works as a mechanic and is excellent at it.

Léonie

Mollache

  • Fat Bastard: He is a fat despicable villain.
  • Meaningful Name: He has a name that evokes both his physique (molle could be translated as "soft" or "weak", as in the slang phrase chiffe molle - literally "wet rag", but idiomatically "wuss" or "weakling") and his personality (lache means "coward" in French.) Also, the name sounds suspiciously like Moloch, a mythological demon.
  • Smug Snake: A slimey, unimpressive asshole.

Pinocchio

Leonardo Da Vinci

Hansel and Gretel

Oliver Twist

Nils Holgersson

Aladdin

Kateri Tekakwitha

Lazarillo
