Rio Kinezono

Team Warrior's "Pointwoman" and field commando on many missions. A blonde yet ditzy bombshell who is the expert martial artist from hand-to-hand to firearms. She is the main character of Burn Up W, Excess & Scramble.

• Big Eater: Rio tends to eat like an pig and can devour tons of noodles and other kinds of food.
• Dumb Blonde: Due to her spending habits and her easygoing and reckless nature.
• Expy: Rio's essentially a retool of Maki from the original 1991 Burn Up! OVA.
• Goofy Print Underwear: In both, Excess and Scramble, Rio wears teddy bear print panties, and in the former she also wears a goofy teddy bear bra.
• Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She can be vain, selfish and greedy at times, but her heart is in the right place and is a heroine of justice who cares about the well-being and safety of the citizens and her friends.

Maya Jingu

Team Warriors' gun-toting maniac and weapon specialist. She is also a skilled sniper and Rio's best friend.

• Action Girl: As she is a weapon specialist and a capable fighter.
• Black Sheep: She is a Tokyo cop while her family runs a criminal syndicate in Osaka.
• Gun Nut: In W/Excess, she keeps a Wall of Weapons and each of her guns is named, and she goes pretty nuts when she can't shoot anything. In Scramble, her obsession appears in the fact she keeps guns everywhere...usually next to her other obsession: plushies.
