Humans
Ben Tennyson
Ben Tennyson
The main hero of the story. At some point, Ben acquired the Ultimatrix after the Omnitrix was destroyed. During a battle with the Forever Knights, Ben's girlfriend, Julie Yamamoto, was injured. Her parents blamed Ben, and the two were forced to break up. Ben never got over what happened and continued to blame himself until he met Hallibel in Hueco Mundo.- Above the Influence: Never hits third base with his lovers despite their frequent teasing.
- All-Loving Hero: He values life so much that he's willing to actually take the time to befriend the Hollows of Hueco Mundo instead of seeing them as Always Chaotic Evil marauders.
- Befriending the Enemy: He manages to get the Arrancars on his side by treating them as True Companions.
- Chick Magnet: He manages to gain the affection of Tia, her Fraccion, and Nel with his innate kindness and heroism. Averted in the remake, where he has to work hard to earn their trust before he can even gain their friendship.
- Everyone Has Standards: Ben may be an All-Loving Hero, but even he is disturbed by Charlotte's flirting.
- It's All My Fault: Ben still blames himself for Julie's injuries in the battle against the Forever Knights even after breaking up with her. He only lets go of this after talking it out with Harribel.
- Lover Tug of War: Briefly grapples with it before solving it by spending equal amounts of time with his lovers.
- Male Gaze: Accidentally ogles Harribel in the remake, temporarily causing a rift between him and her Fracciones.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Even if it was in self defense, Ben is rather shaken when he discovers that he killed the Yautja who was stalking him and Milia on Atrox while transformed as Predator.
Gwen Tennyson
Gwen Tennyson
Ben's cousin and longtime ally- What the Hell, Hero?: Lays into Professor Paradox for essentially kidnapping Ben and dumping him into a whole new world without even informing his family even if it was for the best of intentions.
Kevin Levin
Kevin Levin
Ben's former rival and enemy turned friend and ally- Shipper on Deck: For Ben and his multiple lovers.
Ben's Family
Sandra
Ben's mother- Empty Chair Memorial: Made three meals out of habit after Ben was spirited away to Hueco Mundo out of grief and longing for her son to come home.
Max
Ben's grandfather and a Plumber operative- Cool Old Guy: He's there to support Ben and give him advice on romance when it comes to his multiple girlfriends.
Professor Paradox
A genius scientist who was rendered immortal after being transported to the event horizon in a lab accident.
- Big Good: For the original story, being responsible for transporting Ben into Hueco Mundo to stop Aizen's schemes.
- Bored with Insanity: He mentions that he had once gone crazy after being stuck in the event horizon before deciding to regain his sanity after he tired of madness.
- Complete Immortality: Being stuck in the event horizon for 100,000 years have made him The Needless and The Ageless.
- Man of Kryptonite: Due to his Complete Immortality, time-based attacks such as Barragan's Respira are completely useless against him.
Arrancars
Coyote Starrk
The Primera Espada under Aizen's command and the laziest out of all of them
- Brilliant, but Lazy: He's one of the most powerful Espada among Aizen's army, yet prefers to spend his days sleeping in his room.
- Token Good Teammate: Is the least villainous out of the Espada alongside Harribel, being mostly concerned with sleeping and not getting involved in fights unless his hand is forced.
Lilynette Gingerbuck
Coyote Starrk's Fraccion and other half
- Bratty Half-Pint: Retains this trait from canon in both the original and remake.
- Cloudcuckoolander's Minder: Has this role for Starrk, always keeping him from dozing off.
- Like Brother and Sister: Ben views her as a little sister of sorts in the rewrite.
Barragan Luisenbairn
The Segunda Espada under Aizen's command
- Bad Boss: When Avirama and Charlotte are defeated by Ben, he beats up Charlotte for their failure only for Ben to stop him with Swampfire. This leads to both Fraccions jumping ship and joining Ben's side.
- Death by Irony: Barragan is killed by Starrk, the very person who promised to avenge his death in canon, in the original.
- Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: Gets skewered through the head by Harribel with one of Diamondhead's crystals in the remake.
- Logical Weakness: Baraggan's time-based powers are useless against Paradox and Clockwork, who has even stronger control over time (and in Paradox's case, existing outside of space and time).
- Smug Super: He's all too happy to belittle Ben and dismiss him as weak, and he has the power to back up his boasts.
- Sore Loser: Like in canon, he doesn't take defeat very well in both versions of the story.
Barragan's Fraccion
Charlotte Cuulhourne
A vain and muscular drag queen- Agent Peacock: Don't be fooled by his flamboyant mannerisms, he can still hold his own in combat.
- Big Damn Heroes: Shows up in time to help Ben and Nelliel during their battle against Nnoitra and Tesla.
- Camp Gay: He is very flamboyant and often tries to flirt with Ben, much to the latter's consternation.
- Chatty Hairdresser: Takes up hairdressing as a job after moving to Bellwood with the others.
- I Owe You My Life: Gains respect for Ben after he saves him from being beaten up by Barragan with Swampfire.
- Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal: Eventually defects to Ben's side thanks to Barragan's cruelty.
- Token Good Teammate: By far the nicest out of Barragan's minions in the remake, choosing not to partake in taunting Ben for his failure to escape Hueco Mundo.
Abirama Redder
The most headstrong and aggressive of Barragan's Fraccion- Blood Knight: By far the most battle-hungry out of all of them.
- I Owe You My Life: Proclaims that he's in Ben's debt after he saves Charlotte.
- Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal: Defects to Ben's side in the original along with Charlotte after both of them get fed up with Barragan's abuse.
- Screaming Warrior: Loves yelling out insults and threats before fights to psych out his opponents.
- Wrestler in All of Us: Takes up a job as a wrestler when he moves to Bellwood with the other Arrancars.
Findorr Callius
The most level-headed and intelligent out of Barragan's subordinates- Chick Magnet: Much like Ggio, he ends up gaining a lot of female attention after enrolling as a student at the high school Ben attends due to his muscular build and handsome appearance. He's much more appreciative about it than the latter is.
- Defeat Means Friendship: Gets along with Ben quite well after surrendering by him.
- Graceful Loser: He doesn't do anything to Ben after his defeat, choosing to enjoy his newfound life with the other Arrancars.
- I Owe You My Life: Part of his reason to not plot against Ben with Ggio and the other remaining members of Barragan's fraccion is because he believes that he owes it to Ben's mercy that he's still alive.
Ggio Vega
Barragan's herald.- Chick Magnet: Inadvertently attracts the attention of the female population of Ben's high school after he enrolls there as a student thanks to his good looks, much to his dismay.
- Ungrateful Bastard: Teams up with Nirgge and Choe along with Loly to kill Ben even though he spared them.
Nirgge Parduoc
- The Brute: The least intelligent and heftiest among Barragan's minions.
- Ungrateful Bastard: Teams up with Ggio and Choe along with Loly to kill Ben even though he spared them.
Choe Neng Poww
- The Brute: Shares the role with Nirgge, though he's somewhat smarter than his comrade.
- Ungrateful Bastard: Teams up with Nirgge and Ggio along with Loly to kill Ben even though he spared them. Unlike the former two, he's less enthusiastic about it.
Tia Harribel
The Tercera Espada and one of the sole two Token Good Teammates among the Espadas.
- Adaptational Jerkass: Downplayed; while she isn't antagonistic to Ben in the remake, her relationship with him starts off on a more professional note than the original.
- A Mother To Her Men: She treats her subordinates well and does her best to keep them safe.
- Lady of War: She was the Tercera Espada for a reason, as she demonstrates in both the original and remake.
- Ms. Fanservice: Quite easily one of the most beautiful and attractive characters in the story.
- Seen It All: Her experience in intervening with the constant bickering of her Fraccion serves her well when she takes up her job as Spanish teacher, allowing her to settle any disputes in the classroom with ease.
- Teacher/Student Romance: Played With when she lives on Earth with the other Arrancars. She was already in love with Ben after meeting in Hueco Mundo, and Ben's mother Sandra approves her job as Spanish teacher at Ben's high school(which Kevin helped out with by forging credentials) to make sure that he doesn't slack off in school. To prevent any negative fallout from getting their relationship outed, Ben uses an ID mask to disguise himself as his Future Badass self Ben 10,000.
- Token Good Teammate: One of the only two Espadas to be an actually decent person along with Starrk.
Harribel's Fraccion
Emiliou Apacci
The most headstrong out of Harribel's subordinates- Adaptational Jerkass: Is not nearly as friendly towards Ben in the remake, being at loggerheads with him until he proves his basic decency
- Tomboy: To a lesser (but still noticeable) extent than Milia
Franceska Milia Rose
The more rational member of Harribel's Fraccion- Adaptational Jerkass: Is not nearly as friendly towards Ben in the remake, being at loggerheads with him until he proves his basic decency
- Amazonian Beauty: She's quite athletic and beautiful
- Ms. Fanservice: She's easy on the eyes and emphasizes her physical attributes with her fashion choices
- Tomboy: Very headstrong and decidedly not as feminine as her compatriots
Cyan Sang-sun
The most levelheaded member of Harribel's Fraccion- Adaptational Jerkass: Is not nearly as friendly towards Ben in the remake, being at loggerheads with him until he proves his basic decency.
- Deadpan Snarker: Quite skilled at using this whenever she argues with Milia and Apacci.
- Passive-Aggressive Kombat: Her default method of throwing shade at others in arguments.
- Proper Lady: To Milia and Emiliou's Tomboy.
Ulquiorra Cifer
The Cuarto Espada, an emotionless Straw Nihilist
- Defeat Equals Friendship: Sorta.
- The Stoic: He's still as emotionless as ever even after his resurrection, though he's slowly opening up to the others.

- What Is This Feeling?: Is oblivious to his own feelings towards Orihime, even after Kevin points them out.
Nnoitra Gilga
The Cinco Espada and a boorish, misogynistic bully
- Blood Knight: A much less likeable version than Grimmjoww.
- He-Man Woman Hater: Dismisses women as trash unworthy of being fighters.

- Killed Offscreen: Is killed by Byakuya and Zaraki when they arrive to buy time for Ben and his allies to escape Hueco Mundo.

- Sore Loser: Outright called one by Ben during their second fight before he is knocked out via Way Big.
- Unskilled, but Strong: As noted by Ben, Nnoitra mostly uses brute force and not much else.
Grimmjoww Jaegerjaquez
The Sexta Espada, a Blood Knight who is one of the most aggressive Espadas under Aizen's command
- Blood Knight: Can't have Grimmjow without this in effect.
- Skilled And Strong: Literally namedropped by Ben, who notes that he's a much deadlier opponent than Nnoitra despite being a rank below him due to his smarter approach to combat.
- Worthy Opponent: Sees Ben as one along with Ichigo, fighting Ben in weekly bouts during the weekends.
Zommari Leroux
The Séptima Espada and the resident speedster of the group
- We Hardly Knew Ye: He only has a few interactions with Ben before he's axed off.
Szayelaporro Granz
The Ocho Espada and resident Mad Scientist of Hueco Mundo
- Adaptational Badass: Lasts longer in the remake and manages to create Hollowified copies of Four Arms, Diamondhead, and Swampfire.
Aaroniero Arunniere
The Novena Espada
- Killed Offscreen: Dies at Rukia's hands like in canon.
- Villainous Glutton: Comes with his Cannibalism Superpower.
Yammy Llargo
The Diez(actually Cero) Espada
- The Brute: Loud, strong, and not particularly intelligent.
- Jerkass: Treats his comrades like trash and is all to willing to commit Unfriendly Fire against them, as demonstrated by his beatdown of Loly for just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Nelliel Tu Odelschwank
The former Tercera Espada who was depowered and turned into a child by Szayelaporro and Nnoitra. Is restored to full power by the Ultimatrix.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Nelliel might be cute and bubbly both before and after returning to her true form, but there's a reason she was the Tercera Espada before she ran into Ben.
- Womanchild: Despite being an adult, Nel still has her childish moments at times thanks to her stint as a little girl before her mask was repaired.

- Sanity Slippage: Let's just say her obsession with killing Ben is doing no favors for her overall sanity.
Pesche Guatiche
One of Nelliel's Fraccion- Shipper on Deck: For Nel and Ben
- Recorded and Stand-Up Comedy: He and Dondochakka take up the jobs of stand-up comedians to support themselves in Bellwood after moving there with Ben and the others.

One of Nelliel's Fraccion- Big Fun: He's quite thickset and is a great guy to get along with.

Sosuke Aizen
Former captain of Squad 5 and mastermind of the Winter War
- Big Bad: Of Volume I.
- Brought Down to Normal: Alien X removes all of his powers, including the Hogyoku, as Laser-Guided Karma for all of his crimes. It inadvertently leaves him open to Gin's backstab.

- Dropped a Bridge on Him: Gin immediately kills him after he is depowered by Alien X.
- Master of Illusion: His most lethal ability thanks to his Zanpakuto Kyoka Suigetsu
- Manipulative Bastard: Even without his Zanpakuto, he isn't someone to trifle with thanks to his silver tongue

- Adaptational Nice Guy: Being able to kill Aizen and explain the true goal behind his betrayal of Soul Society to Rangiku has done wonders for his personality.
- Bad Guys Do the Dirty Work: Makes the decision to kill Aizen after Ben depowers the rogue shinigami. He states that it's no big deal since by his own admission, he's no better than Aizen.
- Combat Pragmatist: Chooses to kill Aizen immediately after Alien X depowers him. Given how much of a problem Aizen is even without his powers, he may have made the right call.
- Spared by the Adaptation: Does not die to Aizen in this continuity.
Kaname Tosen
- Heel–Face Turn: Ben persuades Tosen to defect from Aizen's cause by empathizing with him and pointing out the flaws in his beliefs.
