    Higher Powers

The Force

Species: Sentient Cosmic Force

A cosmic energy field that both Jedi and Sith gain their powers from.

Odin Borson

Species: Asgardian

King(?) of Asgard and father of Thor and Loki.

  • Noodle Incident: Odin has met the Jedi, crossed blades with Sith Lords and is aware of the Force too.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: Only appears briefly, but in that appearance, he guides Celeste Morne and Bucky to Kamar-Taj after sealing the Muur talisman for Celeste.

Dormammu

Species: Faltine

A powerful extradimensional entity and ruler of the Dark Dimension.

  • Always a Bigger Fish: Karness Muur attempts to take Dormammu's power for himself, but drastically underestimates the power of his target.
  • Deal with the Devil: Ultimately forced to withdraw from Earth after Strange made a deal with him to free him from the time loop he'd trapped them both in.
  • Dimension Lord: Such a powerful entity that Karness Muur was driven to the brink of madness after just absorbing a fraction of his power.
  • Eldritch Abomination: So powerful that Strange and the other Sorcerers have to make it clear to the Earth-based Avengers that they couldn't hope to actually kill Dormammu, so forcing him to make a deal to leave them alone is the best anyone could have done.

The Bendu

Species: Unknown

An ancient Force wielder, claiming to be the one in the middle between the Jedi's light and Sith's darkness.

  • Mentor Archetype: The Bendu spends some time acting as the Vision's mentor, helping him learn more about the powers of the Mind Stone and the Force. He later provides poignant advice to some of the other Avengers and Jedi.

The Daughter

Species: Celestial

Bast

Species: Ennead

Egyptian/Wakandan cat goddess and patron deity of the Black Panther.

Arishem

Species: Celestial

  • Conflict Killer: Before he arrives, the Mortis Celestials were just getting ready to continue their battle. Once he makes an appearance, they immediately forget about fighting.
  • The Dreaded: When he arrives on Mortis, The Son goes from getting ready to continue his fight with his father to quaking in terror.
  • Large and in Charge: The leader of the Celestials, and is larger than a planet.
  • Top God: Not a god but a Celestial, but he fills in this role with the other Celestials.

Alpha

Species: Unknown

Alpha
A manifestation of the Web of Life and Destiny, created when the Peter Parker of Miles Morales' Earth died in proximity to the collider.

Madame Web

Species: Cosmic Being

Appears to be the Madam Web of Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
  • Big Good: A mysterious and powerful figure, but when Alpha explains that he has a sense that he should visit her Peter B. immediately affirms that Alpha can trust her.

    Support Characters
The artificial intelligences and other entities that support the active Avengers without being independent entities in their own right.

TAP

Species: Artificial Intelligence

An A.I. installed in the War Machine armour.

  • Benevolent A.I.: One of Tony Stark's numerous examples.
  • Chummy Commies: Speaks with a Russian accent and refers to allies as Comrades. Most of the team think this is Tony's idea of a playful dig at Natasha, given her past as a Russian spy.
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: To JARVIS and FRIDAY intentionally in universe as the AI housed in War Machine's armour. This increases as he begins aiding the entire team as JARVIS once did.

Karen

Species: Artificial Intelligence

The AI installed in the Stark-built Spider suit.

  • Benevolent A.I.: Does her best to support Peter as Spider-Man.
  • Expositron 9000: Her role as this is particularly relevant when she identifies one of the forces currently invading Onderon as the Chitauri.
  • Just Like Robin Hood: During the Spider-Verse arc, Karen helps provide Peter with financial support by discreetly hacking the funds of known criminals.
  • One-Steve Limit: Defied; shares a name with Matt's secretary Karen Page, but Matt's reaction to Peter's choice of name has not been depicted.
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Basically, intended to be Peter's version of JARVIS, FRIDAY and Tap (the A.I. for the War Machine armor).

Mjölnir

The hammer of Thor Odinson, forged by the Dwarves of Nidavellir
  • Only the Chosen May Wield: The hammer is bound by an enchantment that only those worth can even pick it up; even members of the Jedi Council acknowledge that they wouldn't be able to pick it up with the Force.
  • Thunder Hammer: As always, Mjolnir allows Thor to channel his power and deliver powerful attacks of pure lightning.

The Symbiote/"Simby"

Species: Klyntar

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/infinite_wars_season_4_1_14.jpg
"Simby" bonded with Spider-Man

  • Adaptational Backstory Change: In the MCU, the Symbiote is a spawn from the alternate version that appeared originally in Venom (2018) before being transported to MCU via Strange's spell. Here, it was in a meteorite that crashed on Nelvaan, where it bonded with a warrior before being captured by The Son.
  • Adaptational Early Appearance: It appears years before the events of the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
  • Adaptational Name Change: Rather than being known as "Venom", the symbiote is initially given the name "Simby".
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: So far the symbiote appears to be more benevolent then in canon; while it has made Peter more expressive in his emotions, he hasn't become actively aggressive, and it seems to be open to accepting his relationship with Ahsoka and Barriss rather than being jealous. On Peter's request, it even briefly separates from him to follow Miles and protect him when the youngest Spider is attacked by the Prowler while on his own. During a later fight scene, it's confirmed that Simby is holding back its more aggressive tendencies, only letting them out as much as is needed to protect its host and the host's mates.
  • Game-Breaker: Enhances Peter's powers, form and abilities, and helps Miles when he's on the run from Prowler.
  • Last of His Kind: It's explicitly stated in Chapter 100 that The Son killed the rest of the species, with the Symbiote being the last of its kind. Peter Park'r affirms that the Klyntar are extinct in his universe of origin.
  • Team Pet: The symbiote seems to be a version of this to date, as it has displayed a particular attachment to Peter, Ahsoka and Barriss but generally reacts to them more like an animal being affectionate with its masters than a fully sentient being.

    Inanimate Objects

The Infinity Stones

Six Power Crystals forged at the birth of the universe representing The Powers That Be: Space, Mind, Reality, Power, Time, and Soul.

  • Adaptational Location Change: In the MCU, the Soul Stone was located on the planet Vormir, which seemed to be close enough in distance from Morag for the Benatar to easily fly there. In this story, dialogue between Maul and the resurrected Freedon Nadd confirms that the Soul Stone is hidden somewhere in the Galaxy Far, Far Away.
  • Demoted to Extra: So far, only the Mind and the Time Stones have appeared (currently part of the Vision and wielded by Doctor Strange respectively). Of the others, only the Space Stone/Tesseract was mentioned by Thor, although others discuss it when considering Hydra's apparent use of the Infinity Gate to displace the Avengers. Maul's inquiry for the Soul Stone indicates that they will soon be involved in the story as more players begin searching for them.
  • Spanner in the Works: A vision of the future Anakin saw in Mortis implies that Thanos will bring the Infinity War to the Galaxy Far, Far Away.
